Ooooh, now why couldn't one of them have ridden up on that bike earlier?? Is it against the bike/rider laws to have gorgeous bike and gorgeous guy? Would the hot/troll balance be completely thrown off? Would the earth spin off it's axis??

louisa at least you got check the bike and the leather jacket... Forgot how to spell? is that i before e except after c?. You take Spell Check away from me and become Mr Typos. ;D ;D Hehehe...something like that. Although I prefer the Brian Regan style i before e except after c, and when sounding like a as in neighbour and weigh and on weekends and holidays and all throughout May and you'll always be wrong no matter what you say...Amongst other things! In bike/BikeBoy news...bike is parked up outside. BikeBoy disappeared. And no, I did not mug him for his jacket. x

louisa How was your investigation... of the bike? ;D The bike was pretty. Liked the bike. BikeBoy not so much. I was deceived by leather jacket and shiny bike. [Edited because I forgot how to spell.]

Ahhhh......I feel like walking through a springtime meadow while cute little animals sing to me. ;D I know what you mean though!! I've been walking around with a sappy grin on my face and I could only understand the gist of it!! I think Kai might be my new best friend. I think I love him right now.

*dances in* Hey guys n girls!! Sorry I haven't been around for a bit. Been celebrating my new-found non-nursing freedom with a little bit too much wine, song and dance. Went to see Mamma Mia at the cinema again last night! Was a special charity screening and included free glasses of wine and mandatory singing along. I am now filled with the urge to burst randomly into song and dance around the house. So no change there then. Oooooh...some guy has just pulled up outside my house on a motorbike. Mmmmm...nice bike. Am off to investigate!!

That was a truly superb episode! Even though I was naughty and read spoilers I couldn't help but get caught up in it all. I was actually shouting "Come on Kai!" at the screen at one point, and then dissolved into tears.

Hey everyone!! After a hectic few days I am glad to report that my mum's doing fine and my brother's ankle wasn't broken just badly sprained so has healed nicely. I have been able to put away my nurses uniform at last! Any finally we get some sunshine.
So all in all, not bad at all! x

Update from the madsickhouse. Mum's doing fine. Her therapy hasn't started yet but she sounds better already. I think it's the lack of worry now she knows what is up. My brother, henceforth to be known as The Boy who will soon have his crutches shoved somewhere painful is recuperating reluctantly and attempting to hack off the cast with a pair of scissors. It's one of those temporary casts they put on before you get a plaster one. They don't think his ankle is actually broken (luckily) but he's so bad at resting it they strapped it up anyway. He is possibly the worst patient in the world and with everyone else out all day it is poor little me that gets the brunt of his frustration (and his colourful language). I actually caught him trying to skateboard today. I genuinely want to be back in front of a classful of teenagers. Even last thing on a Friday! And on a completely unrelated note, I have been happy to read the continuing skilian and pologuy interaction. Although I am in agreement that champignon is a fairly easy French word to say. Nurse Louisa x

My favourite scene of the movie was Zach driving home after the big love scene and slowly smiling. It was so beautiful with the sun coming in and just such a real moment. It contrasted so well with the similar shot when he left the morning after the first kiss earlier in the film. That's my favourite bit of the film too! Although, as I mentioned in the chat thread, I love this film and don't need any excuse to talk about it. This scene however was just perfect.

Okay, so I know I'm a couple months late on this, but I just rented and watched Shelter... wow. I haven't seen acting and production values this good in an independent gay film in a very long time. And such a refreshing twist to the standard coming out story. Definitely going to re-rent this when OH gets back. I love that film! In fact I have to hold myself back from squeeing delightedly whenever it is mentioned.

Hey guys, just checking in to say hi but I'm off to bed. Absolutely exhausted. Nurse/slave is definitely not the job for me. I actually prefer a classroom full of sulky teenagers!!

Hey guys! Thanks for all your supportive comments. Mum's fine and we're all feeling much better after a sleep. None of us really thought things were going to be too bad until we were actually at the hospital and we realised how serious it could have been. She went back to work this morning so it's all ok there! Having spent the day in the hospital yesterday I'd be glad never to see it again so you can imagine how bad it was when my brother, who'd fallen off his skateboard over a week ago decided that his twisted ankle should have healed by now and perhaps he should get it checked out by a doctor. So, up to casualty! He's now lying on his bed with half his leg in plaster occasionally banging on the wall with his crutches and demanding beer/pizza/guitar hero from his exasperated and exhausted dedicated and willing slave sister. It never rains but it pours!!

My mum had a lingering sore throat for about three months and there were concerns it could be cancer of the throat or something. Luckily the checkup today revealed that it's only damage to the voicebox that can be helped by speech and language therapy. A bit of a pain for her because she's not supposed to strain her voice and she's a teacher too, but we're glad it's not worse. Been a long and exhausting day though. Having a glass of wine and going to bed.

Sorry about your terrible day Floatilla I hope the drink/chocolate made you feel a bit better. Amber Yes the nosebleeds have stopped. I hadn't had one for about twenty years so it was a bit of a shocker to get three in a day. The one in the shower was actually a bit scary and because I had a soapy head of hair and couldn't see very well through the soap!! Had to spend the whole day today taking my mum to the hospital.

louisa Psycho? Really? Wasn't that a great movie though? I swear I didn't know I had that much blood in me. I was rather unnerving having been burrowed in my bed for ages reading the last Twilight book. And yes, Psycho was a good movie. Well, the bits I watched from behind a cushion (I am such a wimp). *sigh* I wish I could go back to school skilian Ooooh...English Breakfast Tea. Good choice. I do like my tea. And being a new face around here I do not know about PoloGuy, but sounds good. Right folks, I'm off to bed now!!!

I just love the whole show - thank god for YT cos it would seem that we brits are not gonna get any more than season 1 over here. I KNOW! I am still waiting for S2 to appear on Channel 4. Well, I have my DVD on pre-order and I shall spend an entire weekend watching it from beginning to end. I am glad that I can follow Kevin and Scotty on YT, but as I watched the entire first series I would like to see the whole thing even though I love these two the most.
