I apologise in advance for the rant that is likely to follow!!!
ARGH!!! Who does that Brian think he is?? He waltzes around like he owns the place and, even if I could buy the fact that he offended Luke in error his behavous since has been very irritating not to mention rude. Why was he up at the Snyder farm anyway? And his excuse of beng called by one of his referees - well, shouldn't he be expecting that? Luke may not be an established savvy businessmen but he's not stupid, why wouldn't he check the references of someone he hired, particularly if that person had upset him (even if it was unintentional!) And why did Brian have to show up at that time of night? At his boss's house?? Not to mention obviously persuing Lady Drumstick (eek! Sorry, the AE blog names stick in my head so well) in a manner that at least wants me to point out to him that it's not exactly professional! I suppose the corporate world doesn't look so unkindly on people that wheadle their way into work by outrageously flattering and hitting on the boss/the bosses relations!!
I don't know what's up with Brian but I do not like him.
I can't help but think that Luke should have used his money to set up some sort of foundation or charity group to support and advise gay teenagers. That's something that both he and Noah could work on and wouldn't be used as a tool to inhibit their relationship. Of course, then we might actually have to progress to them doing more than kissing but I don't think any of us would have a problem with that.
On a happier note (I'm not entirely a ranty person) the scenes between just Luke and Noah were sweet and touching.

There is not much I can add to everyone elses comments about how much I enjoyed and was infuriated by this episode! But I am glad that I was reminded of Christian's probation which at least goes someway to explaining why he hadn't gone out and beaten Axel to a pulp after Olli was attacked. And on a random note (because I am not sure where else to put it but wanted to share it!) there was a guy called Olly Mann being interviewed on TV today and when I squeed with excitement over this name crossover my friends thought I was insane

I can barely watch JPK without feeling sad that I know how the storyline will play out. I shouldn't be so addicted to spoilers.

I thought Trevor was awesome and is definitely one to watch for the future. And...well I am in love lust with Brad Rowe so I am biased whenever he appears. Especially if he happens to have no t-shirt on (I am shameless).

I don't have any doubt that Shaun had something of a crush on Zach before they met again in the movie (as an aside, I absolutely love Zach's crooked little smile when Shaun finds him the first time in the movie). Like I've said, I love this movie and have become rather obsessed (too obsessed?) by it. I keep noticing small things everytime I watch it. This is a movie that is meant to be watched more than once. Unfortunately, my DVD has neither the "making of" feature or the commentary. I really wanted to hear the commentary, but I don't think that'll ever happen.

One of the things I loved best about this film is that it didn't spell everything out for you, like how did Gabe/Tori/Jeanne find out about Shaun and Zach. I think Cody said something that made Jeanne put two and two together and work it out (she was already suspicious). Tori I guess probably heard off of Gabe but I think she was beginning to work it out herself from the moment she met Shaun again on the beach. And Gabe - well, I think there are lots of pointers for him, aside from Zach wearing Shaun's shirt, he clearly knew something was up when he came home. Zach's general nervousness was also suspicious. Gabe may well have heard that Zach was hanging out with Shaun, but Zach acted like he hadn't been which made the situation more suspicious. More importantly, had Zach driven over to Shaun's the night before Gabe came home and, if so, wouldn't his truck in the driveway be a dead giveaway? I am completely obsessed with this film now so I could go on all day!

I was wondering how much of the press reaction was due to Soap Writers as opposed to real life. I know that there are magazines in Britain that would leap on a story like this, but they wouldn't be sporting/boxing magazines. I guess Chris/Olli/Gregor were talking to the wrong people in this case. Also, I don't know about in Germany, but I think there are laws here that forbid the media from commenting on certain aspects of upcoming trials. Considering that Axel's attack has been reported to the police, presumably with the intention of prosecuting, this might make publishing the reporter's story illegal. I'm not clear on the details of the law here, though, so this is just speculation. As for Axel, he's a moronic, homophobic idiot (and I'd dearly love to give him a battering for the harm he's caused) but even he isn't stupid enough to make a reappearance whilst the police are involved in the case. Should that situation change, however, I'm sure he'll make a reapperance.

There were a couple of things I wanted to pick out of this clip. Firstly, I just really liked Charlie's little wave when Christian thanked all his friends from the ring. Secondly, I notice most of Christian's friends seem to be women. I mean, I'm not expecting all his guy friends to necessarily be hugging him like the girls did, but still - Miriam, Rebecca, Judith, Lydia, even Olivia! Trying to remember if this has always been the way? Does he have any guy friends apart from Gregor and Olli? And finally...where did Axel procure his weapon from? I know there has been discussion before about what exactly it is - it looks like one of those extendable police batons. Still, I can't see if he had it in his hand when he came into No Limits (I don't think he did) and there doesn't look like there is much room for him to keep it in a pocket or something. I know this overanalysing a tad, but it confuses me. If he'd come in brandishing it, that might explain Olli's lack of action.
Just some thoughts!

I'm Louisa, I'm 23 (had to think about that then!) and live in the UK. I'm a secondary school teacher (11-18 year olds!). My fave shows at the moment are VL, Hollyoaks (although I am not much of a Craig fan - *runs and hides*) and Brothers and Sisters. I've stuck with ATWT for ages, but I'm getting rather annoyed at it now. Surprised I survived this long. Anyway...hi!

Just wanted to add to this thread to say that I was pointed in the direction of Shelter by some kind people on Youtube and I absolutely loved it. Aside from the shallow reason that I'd watch Brad Rowe watching grass grow, the movie was tender and sweet, with enough conflict to sustain my interest but without resorting to ridiculous storyline ideas. And Gabe was an absolutely awesome brother/friend! I just wanted to hug the screen and cry tears of joy at the end.
