Apparently this is not happening? The actor of Fred got asked about Yuri/Fred and basically said he doesn't know anything about that (something in lines that he hasn't received anything regarding this, but he is okay with whatever the writer/s choose to do). Therefore all these articles and people "confirming" this must have been lying? I mean... I just read his interview and he gave the standard coy response for an actor starting a project... he said he "hasn't received anything yet" (as in, no scenes or scripts where sent to him), which would make sense considering telenovelas in Brazil are written and shot with just a couple of weeks in advance and it was mentioned that the storyline is supposed to start around April/May. Aside from all these major outlets reporting on it as a sure thing, this interview was done by Globo, so them actually addressing it while talking about the character makes me wonder. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Globo's new telenovela "Vai Na Fé" just premiered last week and viewers have already picked a clear "tension" between characters Yuri and Fred and it was just revealed yesterday by various Brazilian news outlets that romance is indeed coming their way. I'm curious how this one will turn out. I really loved what Globo did last year with a couple of their original series, especially "Rensga Hits" (major gay storyline with equal amount of love scenes compared to straight characters), but all their gay characters on telenovelas specifically have all been so uninteresting lately. This couple is getting A LOT of attention online already... my hopes for this one are quite high actually. do you know if there's a telegram channel for the couple from rensga hits ? (or anywhere else on the internet?) thank you for sharing this one in any case! Unfortunately no. I watched the show in full when it came out last year on Globoplay (their streaming service)... but I remember seeing some edits of them but with no subtitles. I'll try finding that out for you

Just watched the first 2 episodes and I'm loving it... so far it's the exact right amount of romance and humor for me! Carlos Cuevas does comedy so well... It's a nice shift from Pol! Actually, both leads are doing great (the supporting cast too). Can't wait to watch the rest!

It's been a year since the 1st season premiered... is there any news about the 2nd season? Is that premiering next year? Last month I was informed that they haven't filmed season 2 yet because some of the actors have been pretty busy with other ptojects. The plan is now filming early 2023. Oh, Thanks! Hopefully they can start filming soon... I really liked the first season and It would be so upsetting if they end up not doing season 2

Does anyone know if this will be in Spanish or Catalan? Judging by the video I posted above, this will (probably) be all in Spanish...

I watched the first episode, and I think I am to old now for this kind of Story, Show. The target audience looks like 12 up to 18 years. I’m on episode 5 and I’m loving it, actually. Considering most episodes are rated +16 to being with, I’m not sure this is targeted at 12 year-olds at all lol The tone of the show and the storylines are way more mature than stuff like Heartstopper (which is definitely more in line with that “early teens” age group), so I personally feel it has a way broader appeal beyond the young adult crowd… I love coming of age stories, and this one is very well done so far

Any news of when this is premiering? Unfortunately I haven't seen a date beyond "autumn" so I would assume some time between September and November (probably the earlier half since they already have a trailer out). Prisma is already out on Amazon Prime Video here in Brazil… don’t know if it’s out everywhere. I’ll start watching today

I was finally able to finish the show and, overall, it was cute but felt quite rushed. I wonder when they found out this would be their last season, cause I actually think it had a strong start (the first half of the season was just as good as the other 2 in my opinion) but faltered in the end mostly. So much was happening during the final half of the season with no time to properly develop any of it, that it felt like they were trying to condense a lot of ideas/planned future season-long storylines into a couple of scenes. I think the extra 2 episodes they cut would’ve helped this season tremendously.
Having said that, even though it didn't quite stick the landing this season, I’m a bit sad to see the show ending. Seeing a show like this being led by a Latino character is pretty awesome… I grew up loving teen shows like this as a latino gay kid and I never thought I would ever see myself represented this way. This show might come decades too late for me, but I’m glad It exists for the younger generations.

It looks like there might be a gay character/couple on the upcoming Netflix Italia series DI4RIES which is set in a middle school. One boy tells another, "You're more than just a friend to me" and then they kiss. Both actors, Biagio Venditti and Pietro Sparvoli, are regular cast members. The series debuts on July 26. A bit more on the gay couple: http://instagr.am/p/CfT5n9Bjg0Q Aw... it looks super cute! Any news of when this is premiering?

Shit… I’m in Europe on vacation and unfortunately won’t be able to see the show until I get back next week… Star+ (the streaming service which airs the show in Brazil) doesn’t work here.

A voice message sent to the wrong person is the beginning of Àlex and Bruno's love story in Smiley, the new LGBT rom-com series by Netflix.
Set in Barcelona and based on the play of the same name by Guillem Clua, who now acts as showrunner of this adaptation, the show stars Carlos Cuevas and Miki Esparbé as Àlex and Bruno. Smiley is coming soon to Netflix, a decade after the first performance of the original play in a small theater in Barcelona. Excited to see Carlos Cuevas on a show again!
