My mom was a huge fan of this show and I actually got to watch the first couple of season with her on DVD when I was younger. It's a shame Al Corley (who played Steven in the first 2 seasons) left the show, cause the other actor they replaced him with (can't remember his name) was so bland.

Now, it was David Solans who posted a photo with the entire cast. I really hope this is a sign he might come back next season (even if it's only a guest appearance) http://instagram.com/p/BStfw0CF8DZ

Oh, great... I was waiting for the season to be over so i could binge watch it and now the videos are gone =( I don't recommend waiting until it's over to start watching. There's no guarantee translations will be available. Here's a site where you can watch all the episodes to date translated: skam-translated.tumblr.com/episodesI'd watch them quickly before they get taken down. Thanks! I'll do that!

The trailer for King Cobra has just been released: Saw King Cobra yesterday (it's already available on VOD) and, even though it was definitely entertaining, I was a bit disappointed. I thought it would be a mix of satire and thriller, considering the real story behind it. It definitely have the satirical feel to it (which I liked), but the most interesting aspect of it the murder of the Christian Slater's character and the investigation that followed felt rushed and bit underdeveloped. I feel like they should have spend less time on the Sean/Brett character (who is incredibly uninteresting in my opinion), and embraced the thriller aspect more as well as focusing more on Harlow and Joe (the "rival" pornstars/producers/escorts/ murderer couple), who who were WAY more interesting and complex characters. Still, it was a fun movie...

I'm liking this season just as much as the last one. I was already expecting Bruno's storyline to start a bit slow with the producers saying on interviews how they wanted to develop the supporting characters that were not fully explored last season, as well as the new characters. I think there will be more focus on Bruno's storyline as the season goes... we're still on the 3rd episode with 10 more to go. I'm not holding my breath for a Bruno + Pol love relationship, but I'm sure that will be addressed in some way once Bruno's love life gets more attention on the show. Having said that, I love how the show has 2 very different gay teens with different and independent storylines.

It's a real joy to be able to watch this wonderful show. Thanks, RKFanvidder! Other scenes I liked was when Merli reminded Bruno of the time he let him play with dollsThat was my favorite scene. It was so sweet and honest... it's always really nice to see such a tender representation of a dad-son relationship like that!

New clip courtesy of RKFanvidder: Just wanted to point out that was a GREAT finale for 1st season. I love how they do sad without going over-dramatic, and hopeful and cheery without being corny. I mean, anywhere else a comparison of coming out and springtime would be cheesy as hell, but I just loved how it was constructed and delivered here! LOL I also gotta say I got a bit teary when Santi's wife said that Bruno deserved to be happy and that was what Santi would've said as well... Santi was such a great teacher

Really enjoyed the first season for this so glad there will be a second! Definitely think there needs to be at someone else for Bruno as Oliver doesn't seem like his type and Pol is straight (and curious). As far as Pol making a move on Bruno I didn't think it was so out of the ordinary... I just think that Pol knew that Bruno loved him and in that moment, when he was in a home that he desperately wished he had, he felt he could show that he loved him as well (even in its a bff way). I still think he was curious though! He reminded me of a mix of Dakin from the History Boys and Shane from Eternal Summer. Regardless they are all wonderfully complex characters that are really enjoyable to watch. (btw did anyone else think Bruno was both an annoying bratty teenager and also still really likeable!?!) I agree with everything you wrote! I also feel a Bruno pairing with Oliver would not feel natural. They are not each others type at all. Oliver mentioned he liked much older guys and Bruno seem to be more into Pol-like dudes. I don't think Pol and Bruno will be together, as in a love relationship, but i think there's still more stuff that could happen in the future. I also get the same feeling as you do about Pol's move on Bruno. Aside from that, I think Pol loves the attention he gets from Bruno (and people/girls in general), so I'm curious what his reaction will be when/if Bruno decides to move on. I love how this characters are all flawed. I mean everybody on this show has had questionable moments, but also really good heartfelt ones. It's what makes then so complex and engaging to me at least, especially Bruno and Merlí. The acting also helped, as I think David Solans is a great young actor and did an amazing job portraying Bruno in both his more subtle moments and larger than life scenes. Actually, the acting was GREAT all around this 1st season. It's hard assembling so many good young actors with great chemistry like they were able to do in this show!

Is that the last part? and when is season 2 coming? No, there's one last part. The 1st season has 13 episodes. RKFanvidder will probably be posting the last part this week. 2nd season begins airing in September.

Yep, I follow a lot of the actors on Instagram and they seen to be having a blast shooting the new season. I also noticed a young guy that appears on some photos they have been posting since the begging of the 2nd season shooting in May (a lot of them with David Solans who plays Bruno)... he was not part of last season, so I wonder if he could possibly be his love interest for the new season.

Nice to see this last few episodes with English subtitles after watching the Catalan version with Spanish captions. My Spanish is alright but not 100% , so a couple of things always get lost. The end to that episode was just great... Oliver's little speech, Merli's look at Bruno and Bruno's discomfort. Bruno reminds me a lot of myself at that age. My mood was all over the place as a closeted teen as well... I was never that terrible to teachers but I used to target my angst a lot at family members and people close to me (definitely not my proudest moment). Seeing that makes me really go back... thankfully I grew out of that. As a side note, am I the only one who loves Tania? She's such a good friend! It's a shame the person who dubs her in spanish sounds nothing like her. I though all the actors dubbed themselves in the show... confused why the actress that plays her didn't

Just finished watching the whole 1st season (in Catalan with Spanish subtitles) and I just loved it. Not only the Bruno/Pol storyline (even though I do love both their characters) but I came to care for all the kids in this show. I would've loved to have a group of friends like that in High School - as well as a teacher like Merlí LOL Aside from that, I just love how they created Bruno as a very "flawed" but still sympathetic character... to me it made his whole journey feel way more real on this 1st season. I'm not gonna spoil for those following RKFanvidder's edits, but I gotta say I even shed a few tear during the finale. Now, I have just one question... maybe someone knows the answer. Did they know there would be a 2nd season before wrapping up the first one? I mean, even though the finale gives some hints (especially the final scene with some of the characters making toasts) about the themes they were leaving "open" for 2nd season - Pol/Bruno turbulent relationship, the Monica/Joan/Gerar triangle, Ivan trying to fit in again... - I also felt it worked really well as a final episode for the show in general, like, not just as a final episode for a season. For some reason if felt that way to me LOL. Does anyone know?

I love how Suelen says that she want to stay in Leandro's room "because he gives really good feet massages". Then when Roni and Leandro agree to share a room together, Suellen teases Roni telling him to ask for a feet massage from Leandro cause he would love it. haha

This videos are great, I only started watching this novela last week so I didn't know much about the characters (aside from the fact that Roni is suposed to be a gay). I like that they are portraing Roni as a "regular kid", not following the usual stereotypes brazilian soaps tend to follow, as well as the fact that he has other storylines that do not focus on his sexuality.
On a side note, I guess Suellen knows Roni is gay (or at least has some sort of suspicion)... on the "Part 3" video (on the 4:36 mark) she teases him saying: "what's up, Roni? Helping out your new little friend? He is so innocent, isn't he? So unprotected! Really cute, huh!? But don't you worry... he's not really my type!" and then, when Roni threw his drink on her, she later calls him a "enrustido" on her way to the bathroom. "Enrustido" is a brazilian slang for a gay guy who is still on the closet.

Hey, this is actually my first post!
I'm glad I found this forum to discuss GTST in english! I am completely hooked on this show... I don't think I was this invested on a show since "McDean" on Holyoaks!
I watched the whole Lucas/Edwin storyline in 3 days and now I'm thinking about watching Lucas storylines pre-Edwin... Is it as good as the current storyline??
