I found this. Have no idea what it's about, sorry. It's a Mexican telenovela produced by Televisa for Las Estrellas channel. I know the main story revolves around a soccer player/a soccer team, but don't know much more... Matias (the one getting married in the video) is a supporting character on the show and the other guy is supposed to be his ex-boyfriend who comes back to stop him from marrying.

I'll be watching this only out of curiosity (and cause I enjoy seeing latin LGBT representation, even if lackluster), but I have zero expectations about it LOL

This is the song you can hear in the scene when Blas and Junior go to the bedroom to have their moment in the chapter number 106 of Simona (Friday 06/26/2018)
Song in the minut 15:45Axel - Aguaribay ft India Martinez
Tu sonrisa es para mí
Como el sol al despertar
Se abre el cielo que hay en ti
Rayo de luz en mi jardín
Tu mirada es el cristal
Donde puedo descubrir
Cuando es verdadero amor
No queda nada por decir
Y por ti lo doy todo
Todo sin esperar, oh
No conozco otro modo
No conozco otro modo
Amar es entregar, uh
Te cuidaré siempre y hasta el final, hasta el final
Donde vayas contigo voy a estar, voy a estar, voy a estar
Te cuidaré siempre y hasta el final, hasta el final
Donde vayas contigo voy a estar
| ---------------- | Your smile is for me
Like the sun on the rising
The sky in you opens up
Ray of light in my garden
You have a crystal look
Where I can find
When it is true love
There is nothing left to say
And I give everything for you
Everything without waiting anything in return, oh
I don’t know another way
Love is to give, uh
I will take care of you always and until the end, until the end
Wherever you go I will be with you
Your sunset lips
They fall slowly all over me
As a flower of Aguaribay
From the cup to the root
There is no pain in your embrace
You complete my existence
When it is true love
There is nothing left to say, oh
And I give everything for you
Everything without waiting anything in return, oh
I don’t know another way
Love is to give, uh
I will take care of you always and until the end, until the end
Wherever you go I will be with you, I will be, I will be
I will take care of you always and until the end, until the end
Wherever you go I will be with you

I'm not really a big fan of India Martinez's voice, but that's a beautiful song.
Related to that, every time "Perfect" by Ed Sheeren gets played on the radio now, Blasnior is the first thing that comes to my mind LOL

I just watched the new episode. Not surprising but there was no sex scene. ALL of it happened off screen. I'm royally pissed off. I couldn't give two shits about this show anymore. It's dead to me. The writer can go fuck himself. He's a homophobic piece of shit. Judging by your constant ranting in here, dropping this show is probably a good idea on your part. I think it will do you good.
If we ever get a sex scene, I can always tag you

The writer can go fuck himself. He's a homophobic piece of shit. For you is more important the sex scene and not the storyline? I was also very disappointed by the censure, but I love more junior and blas love story than simona/romeo/Dante story . And also we are in argentina, with a show rated pg,do you really think that the TV channel can accept a gay sex scene? They need to be careful, this is a reality in sud America and from others conservatives countries. I'm from Italy and when I saw a gay storyline my only hope is to have a good story not a sex scene. Sorry for my English. It is indeed upsetting and hypocritical to not have gay couples treated the same way as far as 'intimacy' goes. Unfortunately that's the reality of Latin American television in general, there's still a large part of the audience that is very conservative and depending on the show (like Simona, being a "family show" targeted at families and young kids/teens), the networks don't wanna alienate those sh*tty people (mostly parents who can stop their children from watching it) Having said that, I agree with you about the Blasnior storyline. While still not perfect, it is BY FAR the most developed and (in my opinion) best developed romantic storyline in Simona... It's much better than the straight storylines (including the main romance of Simona/Dante/Romeo)! Also, I'll take it gladly over Chipi having a lame sex scene and then barely no character development after. Even looking outside of the show, I personally much prefer having an actual love story like Blasnior than something as problematic as the 'Boniteras' storyline (another Argentinean telenovela) which used sex and violence for pure 'shock' value to get headlines, or "Hijos del Rock & Roll" which treated the gay characters as clowns.

Part of radio interview with screenwriter In a radial interview there is a question about why Blas and Junior seem more friends than lovers. He says that it has to do construction of the love story. It is not trying to confort the ones who likes the story, it is trying to go through the prejudices of the ones who don’t like or reject the story. That there is people that felt sick about the gay love story line, but now they are asking “Hey, why don’t they kiss more each other”. That is the idea. He also says that the production the tv show make its own interpretation of the storyline that he give them and there are changes. (This is a common thing in the Argentinian tv) Thanks for sharing about the interview kyosemUnfortunately, the interference of TV networks/production companies on gay storylines are not just a common thing in Argentina. It happens a lot in Brazil as well. Still, I believe Argentina is way ahead most Latin countries in the way they present gay storylines on TV. Brazilian TV is always 1 step ahead, 2 steps back...

Speaking of kisses, Simona and Dante shared their first kiss on yesterday's episode... I mean, 97 episodes! LOL That's what I meant about (teen) telenovelas and their love for slow burn romances

Judging by the promo for the next episode, the guy Blas will supposedly kiss is an ex-boyfriend who suddenly reappears into his life. I wonder if this will be a consensual kiss or something like a stolen kiss on Blas.

Oh... you guys scared me! LOL I though the spoiler was that one of them was gonna die or something! Highlight to read: It's still bad though. Blas kissing another guy, like come on
I know, but the reactions made me think of way worse "basic" telenovela plots LOL I would've hoped for more original ways to create drama though... one half of the couple "kissing" someone else is such a tired telenovela staple... at least it looks like we're getting some nice scenes with Junior's brothers on his side

Courtesy of tin-stucky on tumblr. Blas: “Yesterday with Ailín…” Junior: “Yeah, she told me you talked about me” B: “Yes” J: “Don’t get mad at her” B: “I won’t get mad, I imagined she would eventually tell you” J: “You had it all planned out” B: “Yeah… And how do you feel about what I told Ailín?” J: “… I like it… Wow I said it” B: “Was it hard to say?” J: “Yeah… Cause I don’t know how my brothers, my uncle and my dad are going to react, all this people that expect something from me” B: “Well you have to give it time… Sometimes things don’t work out that quickly” J: “Yes, but I don’t know if I want to give it time. For you it was just another kiss but for me… It was much more important than that” B: “It wasn’t just another kiss for me. I told you that because we were drunk, but there’s nothing to drink today, just ‘Mate” J: “And roof leaks” B: “and the same desire…” (Blas gets closer) J: “Wait… What if you leave again? What if it doesn’t work?” B: “What if it does?”(Kiss) Actually, that video only features the part in bold... that translation must be from the whole scene.

Looks like there is some movement on the blasnior front? I read somewhere there are around 210 episodes?? They def have a long way to go yet :-) I think it's less than that as the telenovela is schedule to end in September. It will probably have around 150-160 episodes total.

The first scene is Junior asking what would be the problem if he liked guys, to which his brother replies "no problem", and Junior concludes by saying it seems like there is a problem as "everybody" seems to be talking about this topic. The second scene is with Junior's brothers asking him what he wanted to talk to them, and he saying he wants to talk about something and that they need to be more open-minded. The third little scene is Blas saying its not his place answering anything The final scene is Junior asking if his dad doesn't have anything better to do than talking about him all the time, that this things are his personal stuff and asking why it should matter what he does with his sexuality. His dad replies by saying he knows Junior and knows he's confused, to which Junior responds by saying his dad has no idea about what happens to him and that doesn't know him at all

I'm probably in the minority here. We are talking about 2 young men. Blas being early 20s, probably not very many serious boyfriends. Junior hasn't declared himself gay or bi, he's barely 20 if that. Junior doesnt know what his dad is capable of, yet. Blas doesn't know that Mauro was involved w Junior picking up the Blonde chick though he could guess. Just because 2 people declare their feelings to each other doesn't mean they know how to act on it especially that young. Junior still lives w his uncle and also has some nosy (but loving) brothers. So it'd harder to just go off and spend the night w someone. I think they are genuinely friends first. There are still hints of attraction. Blas is very protective of Jr as we saw in the scene w Mauro. In my mind if and when Junior comes out, Mauro will be the only one against it. Jr. Is loved by everyone and Mauro was not there to raise him for however long he was in prison (?) We always look for instant gratifcation in these story lines and it's not always realistic. Again I am probably in the minority w those feelings. I am actually enjoying the journey. I guess we're both in a minority then LOL As someone who struggled A LOT with my sexuality and expressing my sexuality, I don't think Junior going back and forth AT ALL far-fetched. I "came out" to my family when I was 19 (I was actually outed), but only was able to "act on" it (be with a guy) by the time I was a senior in college (22). Before coming out I was in 3 serious relationships with girls and even dated girls sporadically in college because I wasn't comfortable coming out to my college friends and I did was was "expected" from others. Now, I realize how stupid and sad that was. Seeing someone as young as Junior confused is what I would expect actually. Not everybody has the same journey. I completely understand that maybe coming from his experiences, overtherainbow can think it's ridiculous and unbelievable that "two horny guys who have feelings for each other wouldn't act on their feelings". I can share my experience and say it did happened to me more than once throughout my self-discovery experience, all because of fear (which I think it's pretty clear Junior's case as well). I see A LOT of myself in Junior is that's probably why I connect with him so much. I'm also enjoying the storyline for what it is so far even though it's far from perfect and I'm definitely far from their main target audience LOL

Yes, they do. The reporter asked about a new kiss, since the only one so far happened in the past and fans are waiting. They reply saying they agree that the wait has been for too long already, but then play around it and tease by saying they can't reveal anything.

Ok, so in case anyone else missed it, the interview video is here:
They start off by showing their flashback kiss while the women from the show get all excited by the cuteness of it all LOL
The show's presenter comment on how the internet has been embracing the storyline right away, and the boys respond by talking about their relationship already having a ship-name and a hashtag #Blasnior.
The presenter then asks about how they received the news about their characters involvement. Tato (Junior) say they've been building up the storyline for quite a while like they do on these shows, and when he learned about their relationship he thought it would be a fun challenge as a actor, and after he found out the other actor would be Gaby (Blas), he was very happy as he's a great partner. Gaby complements by saying they've worked together and already had great chemistry and both feel super comfortable together. He also adds he didn't know who his character would be when he auditioned and got the role.
Next, they are both asked about their age, they reply with 27 (Gaby) and 20 (Tato). A question about if they discussed taking the roles with their families came next, and they say there was no problem regarding that and that it was seen as a great work opportunity to grow acting-wise.
The next question was about the internet feedback, if they had any bad experience or bullying. They reply saying it has been the opposite, that they've been receiving a lot of messages from boys and girls who love their storyline and feel represented by it. They are then asked if people have any confusion about them in real life because of their roles. Tato (Junior) laughs about it and say it happens but it doesn't really bother him getting dating proposals, that's all fun. The other presenter then proceed to congratulate then on the small scene shown (the flashback kiss), saying it looked beautiful. Tato mention they talked a lot about the scene beforehand, but they both felt good about it as they have a great relationship and care for each other. Tato follows that by saying the whole cast has a lot of young people and that they all feel like going to school with their friends. Gaby mentions that the kiss scene was a flashback of a previous situation and that now the story is developing more.
The presenter asks if they are in a relationship, to which Gaby responds "yes" and Tato replies with a "no". That question is actually an excuse to ask Tato how it is working with someone you had a past relationship with (as he dated Angela Torres, who plays Simona on the show). He says there's no problem with it as they have a good relationship and the presenter jokes about then getting back together, to which Tato responds by saying they didn't and won't.
Then, they are asked about where their storyline is headed. They laugh saying they can't disclose much about it as they are still shooting the show. Gaby mentions that they'll have some problems with Junior's dad, and Tato add that the characters' struggles are also very much internal, especially Junior, who he describes as going through a self-discovery process and dealing with other peoples expectations of him. Gaby then add that Blas doesn't have the same struggles as Junior, but he has to witness Junior's and that causes him a lot of heartache as well. The presenter says that they've been seeing their discovery of each other and now it's gonna be fun to see how their relationship evolve, to which Tato responds he's excited about them building this connection and complicity. They are asked if they are too far ahead in shooting, to which the answer is no from both. They also mention the concert Simona has in September (right after the show is scheduled to finish).
Tato makes the point that he's very glad they are able to tell this love story now that society has changed (and is changing) regarding this topic, and that they can help other kids going through similar stuff. The presenters then make some random fun out of Gaby being the older castmate on the show, to which he replies by saying they have a group of 30-something actors who are older than him.
The topic of bullying comes back again (as it was discussed earlier on the show with other actresses) and both Tato and Gaby say they've experienced it in very small doses thankfully, nothing big, and that mostly (regarding the show especially) have been very positive.
