You know people, sometimes reading all this bad feeling towards Rebacca, even if I'm not her fan, makes me think that instead we're throwing at her all our disappointment & frustration regarding the lacking of Krolli's plot (during past months)...But IMO it was not simply her ruining the magic, but, most important thing, the whole picture was far from perfect back then...For the future I hope we'll see a restored picture again!! ;-)) Bye*

-About Pattinson you're right, Christian's role is more "bright" indeed, compared to what he looks like lately (it's my fault here: my personal story would have been darker): however I've appreciated him as painter Salvador Dalì (moustache aside! ;-D), or in "The Nibelungs' Ring".

WITH SPOILERS When she would at least be honest after this and tells him the truth when he asks. Why does it still have to be a secret? Good point about this meaning "attraction." A completely gay guy doesn't suddenly kiss a woman for comfort. But I still view it as she kissing him. It's all deliberately ambiguous. I think to confuse him, the writers can't make Rebecca confess her feelings. Otherwise he might avoid her. But now he will question if it maybe came from his side. I'm just sooo annoyed that Olli will end up empty handed (lost Christian, Rob ruined his business, no new love) and Christian gets a hot, young princess, dream job and is not in danger of going to prison. I seriously hope some really hot guy will walk into NL soon and it will be love at first sight. Because if they push Olli into the background after this storyline, I will never watch VL again. ...Hey you're so right, LOL Besides, honestly, I'm the only 1 not worried about these spoilers?? As others said, they're most of the times misleading... On the other hand I don't think that infamous kiss is the end of the world: it only will add a little extra-drama to the plot.... If you're still not sure about it, don't forget that, for the good or for the bad, Chrolli aren't anymore a couple like all the others out there in Soapland, you know...Have faith! Ciao

I've seen Monday's ep: nice! Even Becca was ok, but... 1) I was laughing seeing the serious "beautiful liar" ROB throwing again, here&there, English phrases...Enough it's enough! (Sorry kes for this, besides he's totally hot for me, so he can speak whatever he wants!!LOL ;-D) 2) Last heartbreaking scene: it's just me or Thore in the end had that hilarious look on the face (almost giggling) while poor Jo was all teary-eyes??!! ;-P) Anyways, I'd had preferred not to hearing again how much they love each other now, a little suspense regarding their actual feelings wouldn't hurt...(since as I've already said, IMO it's too obvious that they will love each other 'till death leaves them apart!) BUT, perhaps I'm wrong, & it's instead the prelude to something else?! (You know, when in soaps they profess it, lots of times something else happens... :-o) 3) Weirdly enough, we had pretty soon another nice vlog-entry: I've kind of mixed feelings towards this whole concept anyways, on1side it's a good idea to make a connection with potential new&old fans, on the other it steals something from the actual soap (as a matter of fact, someone on the vlog's commentary said that those lines would have been better directly be said in VL). Sometimes it seems that these authors feel the"burden"of portraying such an happy role-model couple for gays, & it's a good thing of course, don't get me wrong!...But if it were a straight couple, I bet they wouldn't have handled them with kid gloves, & it's a pity, since the real "equality" is proved by things like that, furthermore people are not always so"superficial"... On top of all, I think brownsugar & every1 else could politely express whatever they want around Chrolli-topic: even a comparison with other tv-couples or actors,'cause this doesn't mean they want to boycott or not having respect for other fans...IMO. _@Sylvain...Thinking about Rebecca/Voldemort in next eps , came to my mind that song of Lorie, "1 garcon": well, I guess it fits her too...Hoping that it will end like in the video: the boy she's in love with, fallen for another guy, decides to stay with him, so an angry she leaves the city (on a motorbike)!! LOL ^_^ Salut* PS_For real Mr.Robert-Twilight told of being gay?? Oh well, but to me doesn't matter, 'cause my focus is always on films, not on their private lives, that I respect (even if, I've listened to an interview, in which he was glad to say that a man was 1of his greater fans, etc...But I thought that was his kind of Brit humour against girls' crazyness! ;-P)

Uuhh Luigia, you're right!! I remeber some eps of Kyle XY, it was nice...& the actor a good actor for Olli-role, even for his way of acting...He was also in Katy Perry's intense "Thinking of you"song :'-)
PS_Mitsaso, thinking about Mr Argentero, he did also a gay politician in a comedy film:"Diverso da chi?"/Different from whom?

Da, dobro Helio! (We're "neighbours"...I'm from near Trst ;->) You nailed the core-issue: sometimes, at least IMO, the writers are not deep into the characters... On the other hand, it's a way "to make it simple", to possibly gain more brand new viewers, like a simple song, easy to listen to for the audience (even if I don't think it's always true)...Ciao*

OMG...I'm cracking up for laughs...You guys are fab!! ^_^ Besides, yes my choices were a bit too famous perhaps, but it was just for fun, persons who came from my memories ...(sometimes from nightmares too?! ;-P) I agree with Mona's choice, well done for others' ideas too: Thunderkat is right, probably being in US it could be that they go for a bunch of different kind of people (races, etc...), & IMO it would be a nice touch to change VL for the better, in a good way.
_Carissimo bellissimo Mitsaso...I'm glad you know well at least the naked-sexy calendar of pretty hot LUCA ARGENTERO!! ;-P) You've good tastes...& you were right: he won our Big Brother(Grande Fratello) show years ago, but wanted to be an actor, so studied, & then surprised all becoming a good sensitive actor (more than Bova, I've to add...): if you've the chance watch "Lezioni di Cioccolata"/Chocolate's lessons, or that film by Turkish (but now almost Italian, living in Rome) director Ferzan Ozpetek (the same of"Le Fate Ignoranti"/The ignorant fairies,"Harem Suaré" or "Il Bagno Turco"/the Turkish bath... Now it's almost out a comedy from him, called"Mine Vaganti"/Wandering mines, with another gay character, played by our famous RICCARDO SCAMARCIO...He's our "Mr Pattinson", beloved by hundreds of screaming girls...But he's in love with the older & great Greek/Italian actress Valeria Golino ;-P)
Regarding Mr Twilight, I swear I've not a crush on him, or a real fan of the series, but more in general of fantasy/sci-fi, so I've seen also that...Anyways, I kinda feel "pity" for him, a sort of Hugh Grant invaded by crazy girls everywhere, pretty shy, that went from nobody-ever-noticed-me (but I remember him from an Harry Potter-film) to absurd out-of-the-roof-stardom...Ok, I know, there're worst things in life! ;-D)
Unfortunately I don't remember many Greek actors, apart from ALEXIS GEORGOULIS...The "George Clooney" of you country?! & Nia Vardalos (as Judith?! ;->) Do you like him too?!
I liked Cher too (she's 1of my daddy's fav too,he used to tell me of her old good times...), such a drama queen with dark hair & so, & I don't know why, something that reminded me of Becca, but Cher stays the best (of course!)
I've enjoyed your great choices, but since you know some of our local stuff, what you would say of a showgirl-icon like RAFFAELLA CARRA' as Charlie?! She's like our "Jackie Collins"!! In an ep. of "Doctor Who", she performed in video, within a space-ship (within inside also "Merlin"actor?!)..LOL!!
....Last but not least, Lady Gaga with a wig could easily play also Saint Peter...So I don't se the problem here!! ;-D)
_Slystyle, merci! We could give to Garou the role of Greg & to friend Céline Dion perhaps the 1 of Judith (but the age doesn't fit) or better Luise's part, with her original darker hair...Chich alors?! Ciao*
PS_Oops...I've discovered by now that I look like that Felicia Day...I don't know her, but the name in my language looks promising "Happy day", mamma mia!! ;-o)

Not really, since Gale Harold who played Brian Kinney is straight in real life, but played a gay character with such realism that you didn't know he was straight . He was self assured, didn't take crap from anyone and gave good as he got. I loved his line: "If I'm not sucking your c(*&(*&, then why shouldn't care if I'm gay." That showed he didn't care what anyone thought of him, except his friends, who were also his family; most importantly Justin his lover. Hal Sparks who played Michael ? is straight too, he played a gay character, who was very believable. Especially the sex scenes with Robert Gant, who played Ben (who's gay in real life)[/quote] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wow dear...That's real poetry!! ...I'm joking, but I understand the meaning of it, even if I know the show/actors only by fame & some pics from it (ehm...not exactly the ones you mentioned!) ;D PS_those actors have been "brave", here so very few of them would have done something like that, 'cause it's still a close-market (perhaps on cable-tv, but honestly until now, nothing similar has been done...I don't know if for society-issues or the fear to be framed in a cliché for future career... ) Cheers*

Ok, let's play the possibilities' game! Mumble, mumble...I've re-thought the casting for the new VL-version & I've come up with this crazy idea (waiting for the real ones, I'm really curious! Besides I think that they will cast not famous people): OLLI_Luca Argentero (Italian actor, he had also previously played a gay-character in "Saturno contro"/ Against Saturn & he's an handsome "model" too...Mmmhhh yes, for under-pants "Intimissimi" brand...Pretty hot! ;-P); Colin Morgan, the young star of the Brit "Merlin" series (already loved by gays too ;-)) Gaél Garcìa Bernal ("La Mala Educaciòn") CHRISTIAN_Hayden Christensen ("StarWars","Jumper"...Hot, brooding & slightly dark...); Chad M. Murray ("One Tree Hill" & co.) [Thanks thunderkat! ;-P)] Robert Pattinson (Vampire much? Yep, but also sensitive gay in "Little Ashes" ;-*) Leonardo di Caprio?! ;-P) (German Bill Kaulitz from infamous Tokio Hotel band as OLLI & Canadian singer Garou as CHRIS?! No, that's really sci-fi...0_0) GREGOR_alias the macho with a heart of gold...Patrick Dempsey ("Grey's Anatomy"); Robert Downey Jnr.("Ironman") could be perfect too; Benicio Del Toro ("Wolfman"); (Sylver Stallone"Rambo"?!? LOL ;-D) OLIVIA_Rachel Bilson ("The OC"); Sofia Bush ("One Tree Hill");...Basically all the bitchy-girls around, brunette with a swagger & attitude, but not real evil... JUDITH_The red-head actress, lesbo-witch in "Buffy", do you remember?! Or someone like Alyssa Milano, from "Charmed"... To end with Hilary Duff or others "Disney's club-style" (like that 1 of Hanna Montana...I guess,'cause I don't love the genre) AUNT CHARLIE_Bette Middler...Diane Keaton...Those kind of nice ladies, ya'know! ROB_John Malcovich!! (someone even made a film about being him...Sux villain-chic!) Michael Rosenbaum (unforgattable sexy-as-hell Lex Luthor from "Smallville") Ed Westwick (wicked & funny Chuck from "Gossip Girl") REBECCA_CHER!!! It would be so much fun with a singer like her, future maitresse of Burlesque-film?! (or however she remeinds me a little of Penélope Cruz...Obviously not for the acting-skills!!) ^_^

Brownsugar, I agree in part with your beautiful speech...In the sense that I don't see VL to be so dramatic kind of play: if I'm right, we'll have only the risks from the dangerous situaion, but not the real big "bomb" that would distroy almost everything for Chrolli...
You're right that if the story were set in real life, all would be darker & fatal...But here we'll luclily have such a display of possible risky bad situations...With a nice final redemption/all's well what's end well (& much ado about nothing1 ;-P) Bye*

Thanks, Lugia And you're so right by the way, rebecca being involved at all is just like....why? ? Why cant the writers just get rid of her or at least her involvement with Chrolli...she serves no purpose, shes a lying, stealing, manipulating bitch, and her crush on Christian seriously has NO POINT. damnit writers, get yourselves together cuz ur pissing us off! For once I've to slightly disagree ...In the sense that if writers are smart enough, they could use in a "good way" ...To show off the real feelings of Christian, that he's always too shy to display them, unlike Rob , & furthermore she could cause an extra-drama for the boys...Anyways don't worry, it's obvious she will fall MADLY in love with David (& I'll have a big fun then!! ;D) Ciao

Yep...but it depends which kind of show they actually want to perform: the original is not "so" explicit, so for real I've no idea, Americans most of the times have done more romantic shows than others (if even a bare-breast is rarely shown on telly...); on the other hand, if gays'plays are most of the times seen as more outrageous, & suitable for cable.tv yes, it could happen what you say. ;-)

Stregatta, wow we do have somethings in common! yes curiosity does kill the cat but I am so glad it did because I would still be in that same depression and state that I was in if it hadn't been for Chrolli, I am so glad I gave them a chance Yes lets party at NoLimits! AS long as Chrolli are the hosts:D BTW Love your litle devil man! Ciao bella! Really my dear, I'm so happy Chrolli has been able to help you someway: I can understand the feeling, & Arts in every form has always helped me too, it's got in it like "a something of spiritual", like love/ friendship, that goes beyond materiality, to the soul & I also love even the club...Just so crazy!! ;D Cheers PS_Glad you like my "Diavoletto"! (even if I was looking for the"Stregatto", The CheshireCat of Alice in Wonderland...In Italian means: Bewitched-Cat...Miaow!! )

Hey! Yessss, Robert Pattinson was in Little Ashes as Dali! good movie, btw...but yeah, he'd be good too, either him or Chad, I'd be totally ok with that! But yeah, Channing Tatum was in "Dear John" and "Step Up." He's gorgggg but I dont think he'd make a good Olli, now that I think about it...he's kinda like Chad, brooding, intense, eyes half closed all the time, manly, grrrr. lollll Olli should be played by someone happier and bouncier Ah...Ok, now I have figured out now who that actor is...Have a look to Raul too on YT & tell me if he's not ok for the part of Olli, I guess also for the mood of good guy, charming but not a bad boy, always a lover or a policeman !!

PS_but if I were a VL-author I would have simply make Rob also like Olli for real, besides drug-business & all: so more & more complications...I still hope he'll develop true feeling, if not, it's a little too plain easy this story, not enough troubles I guess??
Oh, for better saying, since this is a show based on feelings, more than other stuff, you've gotta go really deep into them to make them result on a bigger scale!

Hi Chrollixever! Mmmhhh....I didn't know this Channing (what a name anyways?! ;-P), I had to google him, not bad, but really I don't know where to put in him in this game...
Ok, Chad could be good 'cause he's the brooding guy-type too, perhaps also Mr-Robert-Twilight-Pattinson could be a great Chrissie-baby?!*_* (he even made a wonderful movie called "Little Ashes" as painter Dalì, another gay-character..)

LOL Mitsaso & Thunderkat, really funny....BAD ROMANCE they should call the new version?! Lady Gaga à go-go xever & ever!!! ;D I won't be surprised at all to see her, after fashion & music into something like cinema/tv....Well, "the House of Gaga" would produce an hilarious tainted version of VL, that's for sure..... Regarding the possible casting, that's so hard,'cause I'm too stick, as the majority here, to Jo&Thore's super-faces...The only ones that come now to my mind are : OLLI_Roul Bova (an Italian actor, but has done something in US too, like "Under the Tuscan sun" or the kiss to Madonna in a MaxFactor's commercial, & others for GAP-brand...) CHRIS_Chad Michael Murray (yep, the 1 of "OneTreeHill" & others teen-films before) Well, hey Miss Ribo, please cheer up!! Nobody is going to die in war ...Our boyz will be safe&sound, no matter what,'cause they already have "la crème de la crème" of fans!! DON'T WORRY!! Besides, I don't think this is a good interesting sign, if HBO noticed VL... This fame could also bring, as Mona said, some extra-careful attention within the original show, isn't it?! Ciao

Hi guys! Thanks to those wonderful fans who've put on so quickly the caps+video of the new ep.: better today, for the little I've understood in Deutsch (the finale not so much...Perhaps Rob showed to Olli 2 tickets for something?!)
Anyway, I was still brooding over last infamous ep., with that silly let-down (see "drugdealer"...a word that I will erase from my personal dictionary!! ;-P) & I came up with this idea: & if villain Rob would put drugs into Olli's drink??...Forcing him to have sex with him (stoned)!! :-O) Then all the many possible consequences of the case...
Ok, I'm a bit naugthy here, but it will be 1of the few ways to let Rob "play his part", since very probably he's not in love with Olli, Chris is already the super-hero, blah-blah... Besides, again, what a waste of tension & drama (like to spoil a thriller film giving away the ending before time...)!! :-(
@luigia_You're right about "Supernatural" & other shows: Americans (English too, I remember "Merlin") know how to schedule a long-term story (ok, it could be also a cliché, but it's done with a modicum of "style" ;->), French series are more "psychological-introspective", mine or Spanish (&SouthAm.) ones are passionate, tragic or surprising... At this point I really hope that, generally speaking, German shows don't have to stay true to certain "rules" of theirs (like, for ins., in Bollywood-films usually they dance, sing but don't kiss): hence here, less depth in the plot, in favour of stereotyped characters.
All in all (like a friend said before), I always feel positive about Chrolli's future happy-end & their being the real endgame (like Chuck&Blair from "GossipGirl"), with a very probable wedding too (ah, 1 of those sux romantic "hochzeit"! ;-*)... So, that's not the point: my biggest worry is that the writers (for whatever reason), don't succeed in giving us a good storyline to follow (not simply a beautiful beginning/ending). I, as a viewer, should not think "Ok, I could even don't watch most of the eps., 'cause nothing irreversible will happen anyway"... Because IMO, it's the way vlog goes (even if cute),& it's ok: not so much if this is also the thinking which lies behind the rest of our beloved Ollian-plot. ;-/)
@hq75_You're right...The stories have been all told ages ago, but somehow, sometimes, it happens that magic spell to give them new life, & to make people fallen again in love with them! ;->) All the best for HBO's new adaptation: it could be good in a different way.
(@sylvain_That's completely besides the point, but I've seen the French musical "Cleopàtre": if someone is keen on the genre, I've to suggest it 'cause it's "chich alors!", great...1 Bravo à toute la troupe! ;-))

I wonder what's more important for Christian. That Olli doesn't believe him or no matter how he feels why he doesn't that he's more worried what could happen to Olli. I mean, he saw the dealing so he knows it's a problem. I have the hope that maybe he cares more about the last one and not so much about his own feelings or the crisis itself. That would feel wrong when such a threat is there in his mind. I wonder if Rebecca was in the weird dancing mood because she saw something is wrong again between Olli and Christian? Who knows? Probably a mix of all you've said it's true...& writers are still thinking to their next steps, more than 1 direction is open, but I wouldn't have too high expectations ( I don't want to be more disappointed) Tscuss*

Depends how good their accent coach is I didn't believe Heath Ledger wasn't American until I heard him in an interview. And there's a TV show called "The Mentalist" and the actor playing the main character is Australian (I think, I don't usually watch the show) and his accent doesn't show through either. And I heard Andreas Jancke (Gregor) speaking English on a show once and I was impressed how nearly "accent-less" he sounded OTOH, someone commented that he had a strong American accent ;D I guess you're American...Ok, there's a big difference however being from Canada, Australia, UK: from an English speaking country, & fake an American accent IMO... Way more difficult being, x ex., like Antonio Banderas (still has got a quite strong south-Spanish accent ) or Austrian Schwarzy... (My mum even noticed the difference, listening to both singer/actor Miguel Bosé & his mum, actress Lucia, again here after a lifetime in Spain talking/acting...I can assure you something was different in listening them speaking Italian again ) Anyways I agree with you: also Italian actors could fake with a little help for inst. a Swtiz-Italian accent, etc... Besides, I don't think Jo & Thore would accept such a proposal, 'cause they won't be linked forever to gays' roles I suspect....

Girls...don't dream too much!! 1) for native-speakers there's no way they're going to accept foreigners to fake to be locals...if even Hygh Grant said he didn't even mock to do a US-acent, but simply makes "the englishman in NYC" in his last movie... ) 2) HBO has a kind of different approach/humour/style/place...no way it will be similar to the original...they'll Americanized it, as they always do with EU stuff (I remember a terrible adaptation of LAST KISS_L'ULTIMO BACIO, by Italian director Muccino...was totally another thing, simply didn't work!) Only time I've enjoyed 1 of US remakes has been for things like THE RING: because they made it with more money, but in a smart fresh new way, & 'cause I don't like the Far East-very own taste for horrors/thrillers (it's a total bore for me, the ghosts are SO slow, the girls with long dark hair don't scare me & so on...But of course I totally respect their culture: it's smply that not everywhere the same story has got the same impact... ;-O)
