Hmm, I have recapped natyges's videos, plus a portion of the episode I managed to recap while streaming... Should I post it now or wait until I have the whole thing done?

I watched most of it on streaming, but I missed the beginning I really want to see how the match ended Anyway, I recap better when I watch the uploaded ep, cause then I can stop and take notes calmly instead of rushing like crazy And tonight was a good episode, actually.

I don't really mean so much in a literal legal sense, but more in a "dramatic storyline" sense- as in, you have to pay for the things you've done in a drama, which is why I think they often pitch Lalo against Marga because they are both flawed characters, they have both killed someone (under different circumstances, sure), and they are both (in my opinion) portrayed as the "bad" to Flaco and Chiqui's "good" (to put it bluntly)... you know what I mean? So, in dramatic terms, the story demands that both those characters pay... or does it not work like that in telenovelas? (genuine question, this is my first experience of the genre ) I see what you mean. Well, this is the first Argentinian novela I watch, so the following comments are mostly based on the Brazilian novelas around me, okay? That's not always the case anymore. There are some instances of a very evil character who gets liked so much by the audience that they write a less tragic ending for him/her - even one of total escape sometimes. But Lalo isn't an evil character, so that doesn't apply to him anyway in my opinion. His character has been written in a path of redemption. That's why he's seen doing good as well as bad things, being insecure and showing remorse... So he's not a villain - he just fucks it up in a journey to becoming a better person, you get it? That's the way the writers have described him, as a young player learning right from wrong. And in his talk with Mercedes, they dismissed the manslaughter very quickly - instead, she insisted on his amoral methods in search of success. [By the way, I also think the manslaughter thing was primarily a way to bind Lalo to Tato, because of his mother's opposition, etc.] So this is my take. A character like Marga or Nino probably pays somehow in the end (but sometimes, not so much or at all). A character like Lalo must either go so evil he enters the first category or get redemption somehow.

We say someone is "made of good stock" or "from good stock" in English-- means they come from a strong, resilient family. Oh to be of good stock! Very good suggestion - thanks!

Now Chrys, how do you say "va de frente" in English? An how about "estar hecho de buena madera" Bueno, ir de frente would be be straightforward, I think. Now, hecho de buena madera is of those pesky idioms I understand but can't translate properly... I guess I'd say good and reliable, but the idiom also reflects an idea of being well brought-up and/or coming from a good family... and I can't think of a proper English idiom for it.

Yeah, I don't want a tragic ending either, but I do agree with flippa on one thing: I love Lalo's evil side as well

And about the manslaughter thing, there was a very similar case here in Brazil years ago, where a famous actress ran over her kid when getting out of the garage with her car. She wasn't drunk (that we know of) but the kid died. I'm not sure exactly what kind of prosecution she faced, but she never went to jail or anything.

I hope they will be together somehow but I really hope they don't write a marriage for them 1) Lalo is way too young for that. 2) Their relationship is way too new for that. I also think it would be a disservice to LGBT visibility if they show them getting married in a rush, unprepared, just because now they can.

Hi guys..... question, do they preempt shows in Argentina at the last minute like this often? why was there no show last night?...... Well, I can't tell you if it happens in general, but when it comes to Botineras, they usually decide at least a bit beforehand so there's a notice about it on the previous episode (on the previews it says scenes from next tuesday instead of scenes from next episode). This time, they didn't do that so I don't know what happened. I do know they aired a movie instead @lamanu Context is so important, isn't it? I was also surprised that Laura Novoa could act in a non-annoying way

flippav2 I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this somewhere, but sorry if I didn't. Marga offered their flat to Lily, so she's been staying there. That's where she argued with Flaco, by the way.

@mandastar Thanks! flippav2 No no no. If we're going for guys-only pairings... Nino belongs with Román, Chiqui with Anguila (obviously) and Flaco and Lalo should join both pairs for parties

maya Thank you so! Nothing really happened on yesterday's episode so I'm super glad you still liked it. dalphine Thank you! @lamanu Thank you sooo much for your compliments I accept the gun, the brownies, the hugs, but please trade those beers for a bottle of Absolut vodka About the Maradona novela... My prediction is that he's gonna stay... The problem is my analysis... I can't decide if that's a good or bad thing... Maybe both What do you think? chrys- thanks so much for your wonderful as always update I can't believe you patiently sit through all that police crap for us- here, have a medal.. - besides, I am STILL cross that we didn't see the end of that last conversation- what, are we supposed to believe that Lalo said nothing when Flaco said he was lonely? That Flaco just started up the car and they drove off in silence? GIVE ME A BREAK! *angry face* Thank you And yes, I do watch the whole thing. Sometimes I do go to another tab while still listening on my headphones, though And WOW! That was so good - I wish it was in my recap! Made me laugh out loud. *imagines* Flaco: "I feel lonely." [they share meaningful looks] Flaco: "Oh well." [shrugs and starts the car, driving off in silence] Lalo gets out and Flaco heads to the secret cave he's been living in. Yep, works perfectly. And I totally agree with you guys. I'm utterly disappointed they didn't make Flaco the hero in that match

Recap for episode 125, aired on July 15.Status: Done. OMG they're finally playing that game they've been talking about for ages! I can't believe it! It must be the longest championship ever ;D Arregui managed to call a doctor and Nino managed to escape, but he let some keys fall out of his pocket and that other guy (who's not quite a cop anymore) found it. [Later they found out the keys were to evil-Giselle's house and the keychain is from a sadomasochist club.] Later, they showed late evil-Giselle's picture to Mía and she recognized her as one of her kidnappers. By the way, I still can't believe we got rid of evil-Giselle ;D Lesson 187. The police "work" fills many many minutes of this show but you can't never skip it completely because it's a perfect mix of laughable and boring - when you least expect it, when you're bored out of your mind, something really funny comes up. Besides, Riganti usually has some great lines here and there, basically pointing out their incompetence. 188. Nino's charm can't be explained. How can someone be charming while confessing to kidnapping? But Nino was just that when he told Tato he had kidnapped Mía. My dear Román went to Torres to ask after Mía. That's not really important, but it's sweet, so bear with me Arregui told Chiqui that Mía is in the hospital so he went to see her Can we get Salgado to disappear into thin air and Mía to end up in a lovely threesome with Chiqui and Román? Pleeease? 189. Flaco looks scared, worried and brave, all at the same time. Which side will prevail on the match?! So the team is warming up and Chiqui is on the bench because of his injury. The coach calls Flaco over and gives him some tactical instructions then adds: "And most importantly, don't let them provoke you. Don't be stupid." Then Super Chiqui cheered him on by using an expression that I can't quite translate... it's like "be brave" or something. And he's not happy they're playing in an empty stadium. Meanwhile, Lily is watching the match with her kids at Tato's, with him and the doctor. Oh look! More sweetness! My dear Román went to visit Mía at the hospital! Can I get that threesome now? And look, instead of bringing flowers or chocolate, he brought her a gun Really, it's perfect. They both together could even find a way to take care of Chiqui and keep him out of trouble, don't you think? Oh, and Mía begged Román to tell her what he knows about Salgado. Believe it or not, they actually got to play the match - but they didn't show it to us! Really!? They talk about this match for ages and then they only show us the bench? Lame So it was a tie and there were like 5 minutes left so Chiqui made the coach (who is more malleable than jelly) put him to play. He did the lousiest and quickest warm-up ever, by the way Tonight's question: - Will Chiqui be injured for life? Probably not, since he's the lead, but something bad will happen because it always does when it comes to him. Tonight's wish: - Well, my wish obviously is for a Chiqui/Mía/Román ending Besides that and more immediately? - Since Super Chiqui is obviously going to win the match for Cristal at the last minute, can we at least get Flaco to help? He desperately needs a confidence boost.

cloudatlas Thanks! @sannlynn Thank you! margie I'm pretty sure the show will mention the new law soon. They only tape like two episodes in advance I have one tiny wish for tonight's ep... well, I've given up on the guys ever having any sensual time with each other again (Go on Show, SURPRISE ME, I dare you... ;D) so what I hope for is that Lalo talks to Flaco before the match, Flaco goes out onto the pitch and plays the best game of his life, scores a hat trick (3 goals), the team fall in love with him again, the fans shout his name on the streets, Flaco's faith in himself is restored and Lalo looks at him with love and adoration That's exactly my wish and it has been ever since they began talking about this game ages ago! Flaco needs to answer on the field *crosses fingers* valso Thank you Chrys, you're sooooo special! You know that, don't you? ;D Thanx for the recaps, which I long to read even after watching, because of your wit and awesomeness. Yaaaay back to marriage, now everybody can get married.Flaco can marry Lalo. Nino can marry Román (and continue fantasizing about Flaco/Lalo) Chiqui can marry Anguilla (guys, it's obvious) Marga can marry Lili (Marga can live, she's funny) Do you agree? LOL Thank you sweetie How I wish I could be there celebrating with you guys ;D And I loved your predictions, especially Nino/Román, because really, that's made of awesome ;D azuma Thank you so! I hope we get a good episode again tonight since I'm in such a good mood with this awesome news from Argentina ;D

OMG that recap is something else! How I wish it's possible to see the full show because your recaps is so wonderful and full of visual sweetness. @ chrys I was wondering where Flaco as being staying? I also hope that Lalo as not ended thing with Flaco because it's being 1 month since any thing happened between them. beside Flaco needs a lot of at the moment. Thanks You can watch the full episodes - there are two blogs and two youtube channels that upload the full episodes, but without subs. I'm not sure because they haven't showed us. He mentioned a while ago he would either go to a hotel or rent a place.
