Recap for episode 123, aired on July 13.Status: Done \o/
Warning: Lily overload. But don't fear, there was finally some good stuff to make up for it
**Yep, the door Chiqui opened wasn't the door to Mía's psychiatric/captivity room, which is down the hall. So he actually went into evil-Giselle's office and he owned the talk
His amused expression was awesome. Chiqui: "Sadly for you, I could prove you manipulated Flaco and Lalito [
] so that they argued with each other." But Nino called evil-Giselle so she made Chiqui go and went down the hall to drug Mía again.
Mostaza locked himself with Marga in the gym and was kind of going for sexual assault? Not sure, because then my dear Román got the door opened and Marga was free.
Anguila's moves on Mercedes are adorable. He keeps insisting and told her he's gonna keep on doing it until one day soon she'll wake up in his arms, remember this day and regret the time she wasted
Nino finally did something I liked and threatened evil-Giselle when she told about Chiqui's suspicions, saying: "Do you realize what you got yourself into? If I fall, I won't fall alone."
And Lily invited Tato for dinner.**
Lesson 179. Flaco is too nice for his own good, most of the time. Also, he really needs a hug but he goes to the wrong people to ask for pity parties
[Free directions: Super Chiqui to the right and Lalo to the left - he will hug you despite the recent fighting
]
So he went to Lily's (that's actually Marga and Chiqui's) to bring her some divorce papers (again? are they never done with the paperwork?). He's surprised to see her doing so well (I would be surprised too, since she made such huge scenes about her misery last week) and tried to say so in a sarcastic way, but really failed. Lily took the chance to show him real sarcasm. She then said she was cooking for someone and hurried him out. Flaco tried to get some pity (and hugs) out of her by saying again how shitty his life is now (didn't you get the memo, Flaco? Lily's compassion ended right after you came out on TV - she used up all of it in that talk you two had and now she's all out. No one gives him the memos, apparently.) and blamed Tato. Lily said it isn't Tato's fault and added: "The only one responsible for the life you're living is you, Manuel."
And in all his misery, Flaco was looking so beautiful in this scene
**So a big doubt of mine: if Mía has been held captive for days, without a shower, without changing, how come she keeps looking better? They've made Salgado looked ragged... Oh wait, I'm not complaining
Super Chiqui hit on the receptionist at evil-Giselle's building and learned she is not a sports psychologist but deals with bipolar disorder.**
180. Since Flaco has consistently refused to see Lily for the annoying self-righteous person she is, Lily took pity on us and decided to rub it in his face so obviously that he can't deny it anymore. Thanks Lily.
Continues right from the other scene.
Flaco: "It seems to me you're defending Tato."
Lily: "You're always the same. You place the problem outside instead of taking responsibility for how things are."
Flaco asked her what he should take responsibility for since they're in the current situation because he did just that.
Lily: "Tato isn't responsible for our family's having fallen to pieces."
[Uh, Lily, that was not what Flaco was talking about at all. You were already divorced and things were calm. He was talking about the shit that happened since he came out, which was because of Tato
]
Then she mentioned the video.
Lily: "You've always got away with everything, Manuel. You made up this image of yourself, of a respectful man, and even you believed in it. To me, you're a piece of shit [slang translation thanks to urban dictionary]. You're a guy who can't have the minimum discretion [Woah!!
Says the woman who spent last week throwing public tantrums and making scenes!]; you're disrespectful. Do yourself a favor and take responsibility for your life once and for all and stop blaming Tato."
Then Flaco tried to be sarcastic again, with better results, saying she's right, Tato is a great person, you forgot he blames us for Mirta's death? Lily answered it was understandable and if she were in his shoes, she would have thought the same.
Flaco: "Tato is a saint for you. I'm a son of a bitch."
And Lily agreed! Lol. I liked the look in Flaco's eyes at the end - I think he's finally seeing her in a bad light, for the first time in his life.
**Super Chiqui rummaged through the club's files again with the help of super sidekick Anguila
This time Mercedes caught them. She later called the sports psychologists association and confirmed the fraud. She then called a meeting with evil-Giselle and the club's managing board. Super Chiqui came in [of course he did!] and started cornering her. She replied that Chiqui was paranoid and quit without answering anything. Tato pretended to be outraged. Then he called Nino and told him to make her "disappear" - yay!**
181. Good news: when Flaco is taken out of his self-centered misery, he's still full of awesome
Journalists approached him and polite Flaco told them not to take offense but he had already said all he had to say. One of them called his act brave and asked him about gay marriage [currently in discussion in Argentina, and before you ask, no, it wasn't voted yet]. Flaco looked surprised and smiled.
Flaco: "Is there any doubt about what I think? Well, it seems to me it's time we all have the same rights and I feel it's somewhat offensive and discriminatory the people that think and say we don't deserve it."
Journalist: "What would you say to those that think it's disrespectful of natural order?"
Flaco: "That's what's natural is respect [
]. And what alters the natural, I think, it's to forbid the rights of
" [help, anyone? Couldn't make out the word despite rewatching it several times]
And then Super Chiqui came by! And his super powers include public speaking in defense of equality!
The journalists asked him about the subject, also asking: "Civil union or gay marriage?"
Chiqui: "Uh..." [looks at Flaco, adorably
Flaco was watching him very closely - also literally, because they were pretty much sharing the same spot, despite contrary laws of physics
]
Journalist: "Flaco of course has his stand but he's part of the community."
Chiqui: "We all are." [
]
Journalist: "I was referring to the fact that he's gay."
Chiqui: "So was I. It seems to me we're all equal. That's why I don't understand sometimes what people are talking about. I think we all should be equal before the law."
182. Flaco was too slow to see what evil-Giselle was doing, but he's quick to see the implications of her being a fraud.
Chiqui told him that the psychologist is a fraud and that she got in the club to make them fight amongst themselves. Poor Flaco looked so stunned
Chiqui went on to say he doesn't get who got her in and that it was the talk he had with Lalo that made him suspicious so he investigated. Flaco wanted to know who she really is and what she does but Chiqui said he doesn't know and pointed out [with the wisdom he saves for other people's business] that the important questions are: Who got her in here? for what? and why?
Then he left and just then Lalo walked by, yay for soap timing! Flaco immediately called him over and poor Lalo looked so defensive, like he was ready for a fight that was sure to come
Instead, Flaco told him there was something he needed to know.
**Tato arrived for what seemed to be a romantic dinner with Lily.**
183. Flaco finally found the path to the pity party *claps*
So the boys went to talk... inside a car? That's inside somewhere? A garage? Since when does the club have one? Anyway, great idea for discretion, boys, I'm impressed
Make the most of the privacy. And I'm glad they didn't dwell on the things they said in the heat of their fights. Onto the dialogue:
Lovely Lalo, altering reality a little bit: "I never liked that girl. I never believe in anything she said. One could see all the signs: her way of talking like she thinks she's better than the others, more important... the truth is I hate her." [Like we all
]
Flaco: "Honestly, I needed to talk to someone. That's why I saw her so often. I didn't think it would be like that."
Lalo: "You talked with Chiqui, right? Did he tell you who got her in the club? Was it Mercedes?"
Flaco replied that they don't know, that maybe someone from the managing board suggested her.
Lalo: "What a desire to screw people over..."
Flaco: My life is already screwed, Lalo. Well, I'm not complaining. Some people are worse off."
Lalo [See his face, Flaco?? Compassion! See where you find it, babe?]: "It's bad as fuck, right?"
Flaco: "Yes. [pause for meaningful looks] I feel lonely."
Again, I have to point out the wonderful acting
**Chiqui tells Marga he doesn't think the fake psychologist was Tato's doing because it's not his style. He's right, cause it's Nino's style. Then Chiqui's lawyer came in with surveillance tapes from the airport and they saw that it was evil-Giselle that planted the coke in Marga's purse.
Lily told Tato she's happy he no longer thinks she poisoned Mirta because if he still thought so he wouldn't be eating her food - HA!
Tato freaked out.
Nino threw Mía around, started taking out his pants and undressing her so you figure where this is going
I was going for no wishes today since the recap is so late, but let's wish for some interruption real soon so Mía is okay, shall we?
And that's the end of my monster recap. Sorry again for the lateness *kicks internet*
