Btw guys, a comment on youtube brought to my attention that when Lalo is coming out of the club and sees Mostaza peeing, he's wiping his mouth. Since he was presumably working things out with Flaco - does that mean they worked it out pretty well?

Both guys are making good points arcoss Flaco is pushing lalo away because he don't want Lalo to get hurt, look at what is happening to him now and lalo don't look at it that way And Lola is mad Flaco is allowing Lily to walk all over him and Lalo don't understand Flaco might be doing that, because that's his kids mother and Lily have a right to get mad because of his affair and that he is gay Thanks for the recap always a pleasure to read Thanks! I know, that's part of what I meant about the scene being consistent and having a good flow. Both characters have very good points on that argument, and that's what made it a good argument. It's annoying when they make it black and white, right and wrong.

Also, I have to point out the awesome acting. The nuances in Lalo's eyes and body language alone are worth watching a couple of times. The way he looks at Flaco when he says Lalo doesn't give a shit about him, the way he looks down and we see how hurt he is that Flaco pushed him away and then he quickly maneuvers to the aggressive route, mentioning Lily - so that we also see how upset he is that Flaco let her loose on him. Well, I could go on and on

Recap for episode 121, aired on July 07.We got the boys back, but something is still missing: continuity. 171. This is debatable but I think both Lily and Tato are playing each other by playing nice. As I've stated a thousand times, it's too hard to read Lily so we'll have to wait and see. So Tato went to see Lily and told her that he now believes she's innocent both of the murder and of covering up for the boys. He's clearly lying, as reinforced by how later he told Román he's gonna screw with her. Lily told him she firmly believes Flaco is incapable of murder. She also told him she would never cover for Flaco if he was guilty nor would she accuse Lalo of it just to get rid of him, even though she hates him. Tato doesn't think they're innocent and Lily washed her hands, saying she has nothing to do with Flaco and will stay out of it now that she told him what she thought. [Are you still wondering where did her unconditional support go?] So they're back to apparently being in good terms. 172. I now understand why the boys had disappeared! They were sucked into a black hole! Really, it's the only explanation! Why else would their first scene after the absence be a fight we never saw coming? So they were obviously sucked into a black hole and while there things happened. When they were inserted back into the show's timeline, they were reacting to that stuff that happened there and not to the last things we saw of them. Or else we needed to see how Flaco handled the magazine business, and that was never mentioned So we see Flaco coming after Lalo telling him to be more responsible [About what, you ask?! So do I, so do I.] Lalo told him not to act like his father [low blow, honey ] and Flaco proceeded to go up the Lily-scale-of-scandal, prompting Lalo to ask him not to make a scene there. Flaco accused him of only caring about protecting himself and of not giving a shit about him. Lalo then complained about being pushed away and Flaco told him it was to protect him. Lalo said he wasn't so sure of that and Flaco asked him how he could doubt that. So Lalo complained about Lily's hysterics and said Flaco is afraid of her [yes, boy! Someone had to tell him that ]. Lalo tried to get away from the talk and Flaco told him they were gonna settle it there, but then we saw that Mostaza saw the whole thing and end of scene. In conclusion, after a start that was absolutely out of the blue, at least the show made some amends by doing a very good argument scene, very consistent with the characters and their issues. Except for the whole when-did-Flaco-go-from-whiny-to-angry thing Well, I liked the flow of it anyway. 173. At first I thought Nino's evil plan for Mía was to keep drugging her until she turned into zombie Mía, which was accomplished and is even mildly amusing. But then it turned out it involved giving her a truth drug so he could ask her about who she really is. Truth drug, really? Lame. 174. Apparently the whole point of the boys' argument scene was to give Mostaza a chance to overhearing them so that he could go after Lalo and pressure him. He cornered Lalo and told him to make sure no one finds out about his orientation or sees him with a guy because Cristal has enough trouble with Flaco already. Lalo tried to deny everything but Mostaza told him he could see him arguing like a girl. He then ordered him repeatedly to break it up with Flaco. And the rest of the episode needs no comments on my part. So, straight to tonight's questions and wishes: Tonight's questions: - What about the magazine business?! When we had last seen Flaco, he was puzzled by Lily's call about the botinero on the magazine. So what did he do? Did he find out what she was talking about? Did something about it? Is it even true? - Plus, how did the fight end? Will they even bother to let us know? Tonight's wish: - Instead of pulling our boys into black holes, next time do us a favor and throw in a little scene that makes the next one make sense, alright? And to end the recap on a brighter note, let's celebrate the much-wished-for [on my part, at least ] return of a favorite: the art of carrying very private convos [and arguments, and accusations, and shouting matches, yeah!] while in public! I thought you were dead, my dear But no no, what a great showing today. Great job, really, even topped with an eavesdropper! You boys still have it in you, so keep it up!

Recap for episode 120, aired on July 6th, 2010.Brought to you by infinite sadness over Argentina's and Uruguay's losses, and tonight's episode didn't help it any. 165. Mía's standard response to bad discoveries is aggressiveness. She really took Arregui to task, calling him a coward, a betrayer, selfish, etc. 166. Tato is still useless - we may have to rely on Lily's evilness. It was indeed Tato at "her" house, but when Lily saw him, he merely said he was there to grab some stuff for Chiqui and pretended he didn't know she was there. What in the world was the point of going there in secret then? To talk? So again he attacked her, she confronted him, went to hit him and then defended her innocence. It seemed like she might have gotten through to him, but later we saw him telling Román he had to lie and then he called Lily. He told her he was considering what she said and wanted to meet her, giving us his patented evil grin. As we've learned his evilness is long gone and he's useless, let's hope Lily traps him instead. 167. Marga + Chiqui = stupidity. They're feeling super safe at Tato's. Okay, I get that you were getting harassed at your apartment, but really?! This is the place where cameras were set up so that a revenge could be effected! And the place where Nino pointed a gun at them! Is this the place to be safe? 168. Chiqui has great team spirit - and that will probably leave him injured for life. So he still doesn't know how serious his injury really is. Despite the doctor and Tato ordering him not to, he wants to play Cristal's next game (still that one that was delayed) because the team needs him, with everyone being so troubled with external stuff. Chiqui is one of the show's proof that awful stuff keeps happening to nice people - the other one is Flaco. 169. Have I mentioned that my dear Román is pretty much in love with Mía/Laura? Of course he is! She's the only cool and hot female character on the whole show! She asked for his help about Salgado. Anyway, to those of you who don't know, he is in on the secret that she's a cop. And yes, he's the one managing Salgado's kidnapping 170. Anguila has the craziest "dirty" hallucinations ever He got hit by a ball and "dreamed" Mercedes was walking towards him all sexy (sexy music playing and all). She stepped on his chest with her heel and said in a sexy voice: "I don't wear underwear." Twice!! ;D ;D Weird things turn you on, Anguila, weird things. On other news... Mía told Tato that Salgado was kidnapped. Tato later mentioned it to Nino, finally telling him Mía is dating the guy. So Nino of course came up with an evil plan (will it be a good one, like in old days?). Through a cell phone, he instructed Mía to go to a certain place, drop her gun, inject herself with something that made her sleepy and get into a huge chest. Yeah, I mean it And the police told Chiqui that it was Nino who ran over Marga and later he told Marga. That's it. Straight to the questions: - Is the show mad with us? Is it counterattacking our pleas for the return of Lalo by withholding both Lalo and Flaco from our screens? Is it trying to make us complain less? Cause this was just pure evil. I've never watched a single episode without both of them ever since they've been on the show - Who will outsmart the other? Lily or Tato? Tonight's wish: - First version: let's hope for even less then. Please give us back Lalo or Flaco, even if whiny, even if on the background. - Second version: let's go all-in. Let us have an episode revolve around them again, with at least 3 scenes with them both, and a hot, long sex scene in the new apartment Well, if they're not gonna tend to our wishes, at least let's wish high!

Recap for episode 119, aired on July 2nd.In celebration to Uruguay's heroic win and qualifying to the World Cup semis [almost giving me a bunch of heart attacks in the process, but who cares?], I bring to you this far from heroic episode. Actually, there was zero adrenaline and emotion on this episode, but at least the match put me in a good mood to bear through this. [My new technique? Every time Botineras gets really boring, think of Forlán ] Warning: there was absolutely no Lalo at all on this episode Since he's not in this recap in any other way, I want to ask you a question about last episode. What I referred to as Lalo's face of discomfort during the later part of Lily's histerics, can't it also be interpreted like this: that he was actually wondering how in the world could Flaco marry such a woman? What do you think? 161. When you least expect it, scenes involving Salgado's storyline become funny I know, who would have thought?! So he called Laura/Mía and said her name and she said his. Then he got a happy tune and the announcement that he had ran out of credit! Yes, Román is cheap and was carrying a prepaid cell phone with almost zero credits! Hilarious. And the number was private, so Laura couldn't call him back. So secret superhero Salgado got the crazy idea to record a video on the phone, throw it out the window and then... a Saruman-looking hobo grabbed it! ;D Awesome. 162. If you look for the bright side, at least he's getting great feedback! Lily was at Marga's and picked up a magazine and found a piece titled "Declaraciones de un ex-amante de Flaco Riveiro" = Confessions of one of Flaco Riveiro's ex-lovers And he had great things to say about Flaco in bed Anyway, so far we don't know, like Marga pointed out, if his story is true. The piece, of course, prompted Lily to go on and on about how much of a victim she is, and how she is the one suffering all the consequences She said she's most of all ashamed, which shows the weakness of her character: she puts what others say about her way before what she herself had promised Flaco. So the other team lost their match, which means that if Cristal wins that match that was suspended, they go to the final for the cup. Some of the players gathered in Mercedes's "office" to watch it and Anguila brought a voodoo doll for one of the other team's players ;D Gotta love Anguila Chiqui and Marga moved back into Tato's and Marga offered their apartment to Lily, so she moved there. 163. Chiqui's attempt at pressuring Tato about Flaco is a joke. Marga commented about the magazine piece and Chiqui smiled about it and defended Flaco quite nicely. Then he went on to tell Tato to give Flaco a break, reasoning that Cristal needs him for the tournament, but Tato told him no and not to meddle in that. Then they saw Comisaria Riganti on the TV bluffing about Nino's case, saying they had the murder weapon. Chiqui freaked out and pretty much confirmed Mía's suspicions. Tato proceeded to tell him, in private, that it was a bluff because he has the gun in a safe in his office. Lily called Flaco, again full of self-righteousness and accusations [c'mon Flaco, I know you feel guilty but enough already], and told him to make those lovers' stories stop coming out. Flaco had absolutely no idea what she was talking about, so I guess he headed straight to a magazine stand. Arregui collapsed (something with his heart) and later decided to tell (in a very slow, convoluted way) Laura/Mía that he's her father. Since that's been obvious since forever, I wish someone had given him some lessons in going straight to the point. 164. Everyone on the show is stupid - that's a requirement. Marga knows Tato is sure it was Lily, Flaco and Lalo who killed Mirta. So why would she say in his presence that Lily is living at her place and then handle the keys to the apartment in front of him? Besides, even a bind man could see the turning wheels in Tato's head. But hey, why am I complaining?! I want him to go harm Lily instead! Later, Lily got out of bed when she heard weird noises. Time to cross fingers! And that was pretty much it. Tonight's question: - Can Tato finally be useful again and go bother Lily for a change? Tonight's wish: - Since show refuses to give us back awesome Flaco, let's go baby steps again. At least don't withhold Lalo from our view ever again I missed him so. And now a moment of mourning, please. As I had feared, it seems we have lost those two arts that are very dear to my heart: the art of keeping very private convos while in public (preferably while walking around) and its failed sister, the art of arranging a secret hook-up while in public. Ever since Flaco came out, the boys have only talked to each other when alone or on the phone. My darlings, I miss you I'm still hoping to see you again.

Chrys, it's such a pleasure to read your recaps Really, even when I rant that much? Thank you @chyrs You have so much more stamina than me. I kept falling asleep during last night's show. Are you sure that new Giselle was not describing Lily when she said Lalo was highly manipulative, dangerous, prideful and narcissistic? I don't understand Chiqui. Why would he want to live with Tato who forced his best friend to come out because he made a sex tape of him? Yeah, I was up so late to finish the recap I almost couldn't get up to root for the Netherlands in the World Cup And yes, I'm sure, though I can see how that would fit Lily just fine. About Chiqui, he's stupid and naïve like that. I guess he thinks Tato is a dangerous asshole but has no reason to screw him over like he did the boys because of Mirta. He should totally know better.

Recap for episode 118, aired on July 1st.Warning: Lily overload throughout the episode The hooded guy from last episode ended up just running away. So let's go to our first lesson of today, that's actually two lessons in one: 152a. Part A: I haaaaaate Lily. Part B: Never marry a hysterical person. Really. To start off badly, we pick up from when the trio of doom (Flaco, Lalo and Lily) was being ushered inside the only office at the club, that serves as Mía's office, Mercedes' office, meeting room and now also new-Giselle's office Lalo, who is quickly becoming the only sensible, no-nonsense person in this storyline, replied to new-Giselle's sweet talk by saying he didn't know what he was doing there because he had nothing to do with the other two. [Great, but you should have said that while saying no to joint therapy, still outside.] I like him even more when he told new-Giselle to limit herself to her job, that is, to the sports issues. And then began the scene from hell. I could barely watch it cause I wanted Lily to shut up so much... I felt a compelling urge to fast forward but I resisted. Lily got mad at Lalo for saying he had nothing to do with them and began mocking him and calling him a hypocrite. Like I predicted yesterday, she only needed one minute inside the room to spill all of the dirty laundry. Which led me to a new lesson inside this lesson: 153. I finally understood why Lily wanted Flaco to come out!! It's because she knows no such thing as discretion! She needed it out in the open so she could throw tantrums outside of her house as well! And so she could soak all the attention, pretending it's unwanted, while she's inwardly delighted at the opportunity to make scenes while seeming justified. And no one can tell her to shut up because she's in so much pain Now she can be what she always wanted: the queen of holier-than-thou self-righteousness. 152b. Back to main lesson. She played victim again and she even played the victim mother card! Really, stop using your kids as a weapon - it's sick. As natyges pointed out yesterday, she was completely hysterical. This scene was almost painful for me because 1. I hate hysterical people; 2. I hate when people wash their dirty laundry in public; so logically: 3. it almost kills me when someone airs their dirty laundry in public while in hysterics Back to the facts, of course she ended up saying to Lalo "you think the therapist hasn't noticed you two are lovers?" The boys' faces at that... you have to see it. And you think it was over? I wish! After some lame other scenes, we got back to more of the same! Show, why make me suffer like this? Lily still in hysterics, accusing and playing victim, and Lalo's face of discomfort was pretty much mine + his angry face from earlier And she kept telling Flaco to shut up, which was just awful. Where's that unconditional support again, Lily? Then she [of course!] stormed off like a diva and the press was waiting for her and she managed to run over a guy's foot. 154. Finally some breath! Chiqui is a nice guy and a good friend, and he acted as a great form of relief in flannel He was next on new-Giselle's "office" and she actually opened her blouse to reveal more of her breasts to him. She asked about Flaco, and Chiqui said he had known for years and it is all good and he can help her deal with the not-so-accepting players Then she asked about Lalo and he answered that the injury was a mistake, not on purpose, and that he didn't hold it against him 155. Chiqui is not only a good friend but a handy one Mercedes was pushing Flaco about Lalo's new apartment, because she thinks Lalo can't afford it. Flaco said he wasn't even with him when he went to see it and rented it so he knows nothing. [C'mon Mercedes, Tato told you that Lalo is Flaco's lover, so you should be able to come to the conclusion that Flaco is the one paying. If you did so and wanted to hear from his mouth, then you're a bit of a sadist, given the circumstances.] Anyway, Lily came back inside, walked by them, and asked for Chiqui's help with the journalist's problem. He signaled to Flaco he would take care of it. So he went outside and gave an "interview" to distract the press while diva-Lily got in her car and finally left us. Back inside, he explained what happened to a nervous Flaco and prevented him from calling Lily [maybe Flaco should ask for Chiqui's advice more often]. And then one of those friendly kisses between men that are one of the major differences between where I live and Argentina Flaco left, so Mercedes says it's fine about Flaco's sexuality but his coming out brought a lot of problems to the club. To which super friend Chiqui reminded her that Flaco had had a good reason to come out now instead of later. 156. Not all police scenes are bad (just most of them). Riganti's shouting at the whole department was actually fun And later they managed to find the car used to run over Marga and even find Nino's fingertips on the wheel. 157. We lose one annoying character and gain another. My happiness for the lack of Sofía is dampened by so much new-Giselle on my screen. I may be starting to miss Sofía, in comparison. Anyway, new-Giselle told Tato about the scene earlier and, asked about who killed Mirta, she said it wasn't Flaco cause he's not the type; could be Lily because she was showing new shades; and could be Lalo because he's highly manipulative, dangerous, prideful and narcissistic. 158. Nino's plan is to convert Lalo into a botinero supported by Flaco. I have a feeling he's been reading some fan's comments about what they wanted for the couple... Since I've already ranted about that a few days ago, I'll leave it at that 159. Chiqui is soooo stupid o.O Again there was a hooded guy by Marga's door, but it was only Anguila wearing the exact same clothes as Nino. She almost hit him with a racket. Later, Anguila gives Chiqui and Marga an idea: to go back to living at Tato's, because his house is safer. [His idea included Marga's hitting Tato with a racket "by accident" ] So, despite the fact that just last week Tato had taped two of his players and tried to sell them over to the press, Chiqui agreed and went to ask Tato So the scene between Marga and Flaco brings no lesson because I didn't get it... She was on the phone with Lily - Lily told her where she was going and not to tell Flaco. Flaco was there looking for Lily So Marga did some mocking and a homophobic comment and then Flaco got this weird (cunning?) look on his face and asked for a glass of water 160. Show wants us to believe that Salgado is a super hero: looks lame usually, but has secret inner strength and abilities He managed to untie himself then asked Román for water and... hit him! He hit my dear Román! Who's a lot tougher and would never get knocked out like that! Or tricked by Salgado! C'mon! Well, let's roll with it. Salgado grabbed Román's cell phone and ran. Then Nino showed up and began searching for him with a gun. Salgado "ran" while calling Laura/Mía on the phone. She picked up and... "cliffhanger." Tonight's question: - I asked before when Flaco would see Lily for the unbearable person she is. So now I'll ask: when will he tell her to shut up? Baby steps. Tonight's wishes: - No more hysterical Lily PLEASE. Show made me use caps. - Nino, you're not being as awesome lately, but please catch Salgado and avenge my dear Román

In the previews what was even more lame is that Salgado got the jump on Roman and escaped. Along the way, he took time to try to call Mia/Laura. I think he will pay for that with Nino recapturing him. Or at least I hope he does. Oh c'mon! Like Salgado would ever be able to jump Román, or fight him, or trick him, or win a game of cards against him! By the way, Román is becoming one of my favorites, because he's always cool. And let's hope so. It's way too early for Salgado to show up again...

Yes, I saw that it was an ugly bandana on her head. In the previews, it was hard to see anything except it was black. After that scene, I don't see how anyone could not suspect Lalo and Flaco being together unless they were in denial. But then again, stupidity seems to be spreading like a disease on the show lately. Yeah, I think that before Mercedes told the three of them to go talk to the psychologist together, there was a shot, but that was such a giveaway But you're right, we can't be sure. Besides, I still don't understand how the other players are still clueless. By the time Flaco was chasing Lalo again, I was sure they were all in on the "secret."

I know!! How could the show go from really great to utter lameness so fast?? @lamanu I found out a written recap of what he said in that interview. margie Was the Nino thing before the previews? I can't remember. And then I lost the end of the previews due to slow streaming so at least I was saved from more showings of stupidity.

Recap for episode 117, aired on June 30.Okay, this was probably the most boring Botineras episode ever, so let me look for a bright side... Short recap? Anyway, not so many lessons today. New-Giselle seems to like Chiqui and Anguila is very hot for her. She later talked to the players offscreen, beginning with Flaco. The police managed to follow the ransom money and catch the guy who asked for it, but he claimed to have nothing to do with the kidnapping. Lily told Marga and Ethel that she either looks stupid in this whole business or a cynical, but that she didn't really know about Flaco's sexuality because their sex life was great .
Tato got mad with Nino about his revenge on Marga, but Nino pointed out that Tato is also seeking revenge for Mirta.
Marga got security cameras installed outside her and Chiqui's apartment.
149. Flaco should be less dejected and more paranoid. On the phone, Lalo was asking Flaco if he really needed to come out so Flaco finally told him that Tato has a video of them having sex. So Lalo freaked out about it and Flaco told him he thinks Tato will not release the video (1) because he already got what he wanted (2) and is enjoying Flaco's misery (3). Number 1 may be true, number 2 is false, number 3 is true.
New-Giselle went to Tato's to tell him about her talks with Flaco and Lalo. About Flaco, she said Tato succeeded in breaking him, because he's insecure, ashamed and with a very low self-esteem And she played the tape of her talk with Lalo, that didn't go that well for him. He was too defensive and in the end appeared to buy her trying to win his trust
150. Tato's storyline at the moment: ways in which he can look more stupid. First, he gave some contracts to Mía and when she asked for his new lawyer's number he said he had no new lawyer Then later Mía realized the contracts had Nino's handwriting on them - really, Tato, that's so amateurish!
And the one scene I was waiting for, although with dread...
151. Lily is either stupid or has a very short memory. She was the one who kept telling Flaco to come out and then the one who said she was going to support him in every way. So why did she show up (out of the blue) at the club and made a huge scene in front of all the players about how much of a victim she is? She can't really claim she didn't know what would be the consequences, right? And how about keeping it classy while ranting?
She went on and on about how shitty her life is now because of the press and then, to top it off, when she saw Lalo she shouted at him, complaining about having to see him all the time - hello, he works there! At that, Flaco finally got out of his listening with shameful eyes mode and told her not to do that there. At least his protectiveness of Lalo is intact. Then the three of them were ushered inside new-Giselle's office, which will of course only lead to Lily spilling out all the dirty laundry. Great
Through the security camera, Marga saw Nino outside her door but I don't think she recognized him yet.
Okay, that's it. No wishes or questions cause this episode annoyed me out of my mind, sorry.
