Recap for episode 129, aired on July 27.Status: Done. Tato decided to toy with Marga and talk about old-Giselle's murder with her and Chiqui. Points for Chiqui for defending Lalo, saying he barks but doesn't bite Also points for super sweetness when he said he couldn't believe the things people did for him And by the way, one of the proofs of Super Chiqui's super powers is that he makes even Marga be so nice and sweet sometimes 206. Anguila is always the comic relief Mercedes gave Lalo a copy of his contract and he played a bit of tug-o-war with it with Flaco. Then Anguila showed up and put Maxi to help him with his plan of impressing Mercedes by showing he's not a party guy anymore - instead, he now stays home and also goes around the club reading books. This fool-proof plan (yeah, right) fell through because the book he was holding was actually an encyclopedia volume After Mercedes left, Anguila complained with Maxi for giving him an encyclopedia instead of a book by Borges or something Lalo and Flaco's laughing was very cute, by the way. 207. My dear Román is the new scapegoat. So after Nino's "death", everyone took the chance to blame him for everything so that they could get all matters over and done with and go rest Now there's a problem, a big one: Tato, Chiqui and Marga have to explain who disposed of Nino's body and how, and unfortunately, they can't blame Nino for that Though I'm sure it crossed their minds So Tato told my dear Román he must disappear because they're gonna dump it all on him Marga found a picture of old-Giselle under her pillow So operation driving-Marga-crazy is still on. Lol I love Román's recapping all the action in the house for Nino on the phone Okay, I don't know how this happened or when, but by now I pretty much love Román doing anything whatsoever Well, Román had another negotiation round with Nino. He wants out with the money Nino owes him and Nino wants him to stay in business for a little longer, so he can finish his plans of doom and leave the country. He gave Román some money in advance to help convince him and Román told him he will think about it. Nino also promised him 150k in dollars and, because he can't help himself anymore, also threatened him a little ;D [By the way, I beg your pardon for being so detailed about Román. You're probably not interested, but well, I can't help it.] Well, I also can't help that there's so much Román in this episode Meanwhile, Malena told Laura about Román's visit and she started messaging him, in caps [where are your manners, Laura?]. Aaaand I can't do this, so I'm gonna skip Laura and Malena's talk about Salgado, sorry Aaand Lily and Tato's phone talks are even worse Oh wow why do you do this to me, show?!? And now, the scene of doom 208. Show se fue al carajo. Meaning, they're really overdoing the calamity of Flaco's coming out. Bear in mind I'm not an optimistic person and I do know exactly how homophobic is the football world, but when I think about what will happen to the first established elite player who comes out... yes, I can think up of a lot of really bad things that could/would happen, but even so I don't think it would be so nightmarish and despairing as what they're doing to Flaco. I mean, c'mon, there would also be support and good things too, but the show isn't showing us any of that! And I doubt the entire locker room would turn against one of their own like this. Maybe initially there would be a lot of discomfort, but it wouldn't go on forever without anyone telling them off and it wouldn't continue after the guy in question puts the team through to the final Oh the scene? The only good thing on this scene, Anguila, came out of the showers wrapped in a purple towel, with his hair also wrapped in a towel, looking like a grandma. He saw Flaco looking sad (also looking a lot better, because his towel was wrapped around his waist, not his chest) outside the showers and asked him if he wasn't going to shower. To which Flaco replied there were too many people in the showers. Anguila [bless his name a billion times!] immediately called bullshit and told him he would go shower again with him. I love you, Anguila But as soon as Flaco went in, the *entire* team came out of the showers, including Lalo. Yeah, I know, it's crazy. Anguila told them off [even saying: "It's year 2010. In what world are you living?!] but to no avail. So yeah, this is the scene of a thousand rants I could go on and on and on, but let me just point out this also brings out the show's repetitiveness and continuity fail. This whole locker room issues have been addressed more than once before, and apparently they were over it, at least in an overt manner. And they should be over it, because Flaco's coming out happened weeks ago. Are we to believe Flaco wasn't showering with the others during all this time? This is impossible, because Anguila and Chiqui would have done what Anguila did on this episode. Or that this happened before and Chiqui and Anguila were never around when it happened? Really, if this had been shown just after the confession, okay, valid, but now?! And all of a sudden? After they played together and celebrated Flaco's goal together? No way. Oh, and as flippa pointed out, Lalo could very well have told his teammates they were being assholes and that they had showered with Flaco a thousand times and nothing would happen /rant Well, the police made everyone reenact the night Nino was "killed." And Laura looked oh so beautiful and hot Meanwhile, now-happy Lily went shopping with Flaco's money. She even met this super stupid fangirl of hers (why does she have a fan? All she did was marry someone!) asking her excitedly if she was in love with someone Yay we got angry Flaco! I love when it happens! 209. Angry Flaco > crying, devastated Flaco. Flaco went out of the shower insulting his teammates, saying they're worse than the barra brava [= the team's hooligans] because they don't say it to his face. Lalo was there waiting for him, looking through a magazine. Then he showed it to Flaco and it read, over a picture of Tato and Lily kissing [oh my eyes!!!]: "Tato Marín and Lily Riveiro - in love?" Ugh. So that's Tato's evil plan - I told you it would be suuuuper lame! And I looved Lalo's reaction, the way he raised his brows, like saying, "It's Lily! What would you expect?" and "I told you so" Sometimes the writers remember Chiqui used to be really funny and give him great lines, like when he answered Mía about where Nino's body fell Cabré - you're awesome! They're in the middle of the living room, and he just said when he shot Nino he was there in the hall, as you remember. So she asked him where the body fell and he went: "In the garden! Cause he fell backwards, hit the door, went flying (all the way through the room, as he signed with his head) and fell onto the garden!" LOL ;D This is too funny. Tato told the police that he simply obeyed Román's orders about the covering up! Really? Who does he think he's fooling? Then Tato resorted to insulting Laura and finally made her lose her temper when he said he provided them with informants. 210. Happy Lily is even more annoying than regular Lily. She went to Mercedes' office to get a check for Tato and Flaco saw her and went ballistic - yay! He showed her the magazine and asked her if she doesn't know who Tato is. Lily: "One thing is what happens between you and Tato. [smiles] One very different thing is what happens between Tato and I." [Really, Flaco, just let her dig her own grave already!] Then Flaco said something about her spreading her legs to all guys she met and she slapped him. Flaco told her she was making a big mistake and she said it was the opposite and that the picture made her see they made a beautiful couple Another round between Nino and Román: Nino showed him the money he had promised him and told him that when he's on the plane to Europe he's gonna tell him where is the key to the locker where he's gonna put the money. Later, Laura got a message from Román, who doesn't use caps because he's got manners alright Message: "Don't seek me anymore, forget about any link between us, I'm telling you and asking you this for your safety. Trust no one at all." And then, oh show, we saw my very dear Román in his room, shirtless, writing a letter to Laura: "Laura, if you're reading this, it means that I'm dead and that Nino Paredes is more alive than ever and didn't fulfill his promise of paying me what we had agreed. Now you can know the story from the beginning." And we can see he has a number, like a prisoner number?, tattooed on his chest. At least one bit of good news! The boys went together [so cute] to see the lawyer (who's actually the same one who dealt with Chiqui several times, because the show didn't want to pay a new actor lol) about Lalo's contract and the guy said he can get Lalo out of Tato's claws. Well, he didn't say it like that, but still I knew it! They put the Saruman-looking hobo in the same cell that Chiqui is in! And he tried to sell the cell phone to Chiqui! Lol. And Laura saw a picture of a magazine and told Fernando (one of the cops) that she knows who killed Mirta. That's it. No questions, just a huuuuge wish: - May my dear Román be still alive when the show ends. Please

b) Show is setting up Flaco to retire from football, become Lalo's manager and they both head off to Europe together with the "manager-player" excuse for them being together Anyone thinking the same? Me, me ::waves hand:: ;D I always had this crazy idea that it would be a fitting finale for Flaco, to became a manager. He knows the football world, the people in it. And he would be such a good manager, he's a good person, honest and he cares for people. He would do right by his players. Besides, Tato will be sent to jail/killed or whatever (bad guys don't end well in tv land) so there will be a lot of players without representation (Chiqui, Anguila, Maxi etc). Who better to do it than Flaco, someone they know they can trust (well, Maxi needs to get his head out of his ass first ) And, yes, it has the advantage of being the perfect cover for Lalo and Flaco! All very very true, emsol, and I agree, but what I really want to point out is that "well, Maxi needs to get his head out of his ass first" made me laugh So true. It should have been a lesson in my recaps, even.

You're all very very welcome Thank you Chrys, darling. How many times this scene has been shot? Lalo - What are you going to do? Flaco - I don't know. And if I doubted, now I don't anymore : Torres DOES love Salgado. Perfect Match. Leave Laura and Chiqui alone and take the daughter with you! I know, right?!? I should have been counting, and it would be an appalling number of times!!! Pleeeease stop repeating that convo!! Why does Torres love Salgado? What did I miss/forget? And I'm so glad someone shares my appreciation for my dear Román, who's completely full of win, and for the hobo scenes flippav2 I don't know, Mercedes is an unstable thing for me. Sometimes I like her and sometimes she annoys the hell out of me

Recap for episode 128, aired on July 22.Big lesson of the day: when the boys fail to impress me, not all is lost. You must seek joy somewhere else 203. Tato has a very weird way of searching for stuff. He drops the drawers' contents onto his table and then throws the drawers at the other side of the room He realized Mía/Laura has the papers he needs and later ordered my dear Román to go and recover them. Aaaand.... everyone-is-sad montage. And oh look!! Saruman-looking hobo is back! ;D ;D And he still has the cell phone, after all this time! ROFL ;D And he watched the video Salgado made for Laura again! (Cause obviously the writers assumed everyone had forgotten about it by now, and they were very right.) Oh no, more scenes between Laura and Malena *focus on how lovely Laura looks to make through this* 204. Lalo's evil side is back, Flaco is still the mentor and Lalo redeems himself a little because it's out of his worry. He told Flaco he should look on the bright side of Chiqui's arrest: that now the whole press will focus on that instead of on Flaco. Flaco got mad about that, calling him an asshole, and Lalo showed that he still fails to see how bad his lack of empathy and gratitude makes him look. Flaco explained that he doesn't want to see other people screwed over so that the press stops screwing him over. Then Lalo stammered a suggestion for Flaco to stay away from Chiqui for now and Flaco reminded him that Chiqui was always by his side. Lalo then told him he wasn't saying all that because he's an asshole but because he's thinking of him, that he's afraid for him. Ok, babe, that's a bit better... LOL! Saruman-looking hobo went to the police and asked for food in exchange for information. This is great. I like bitter, exhausted Chiqui. He looks so huggable. Román went to Laura's to get the papers and but Malena was there and saw him. He told her he was just looking for Laura, said he was very sorry and Malena seemed to fall for his charm so she got over his weird way of coming into the house and the way he manhandled her into being quiet. Yep, Román is just awesome like that Then he told (lied to) Nino that the papers weren't there and that there was no one home either. And by the way Nino wasn't even supposed to know about this at all, because Tato had told Román not to tell him. Do I even need to tell you guys I love Román as this double, triple, quadruple agent?! I just wonder how he doesn't get confused with all his lying and mixed alliances? He's gotta have a great memory to keep track of all the things he's supposed to be doing with all these people. Oh wow this is actually awesome. And here I thought I wouldn't like this episode because the boys' scenes were so disappointing Well, Marga went to these guys in suits in a fancy office to buy a way to get Chiqui out of jail quickly, in an illegal way, of course And she brought Anguila with her [yep, Anguila!!], carrying a duffel bag full of money [yes, it gets more and more priceless!], to which he keeps pointing and he keeps saying silly stuff and he clearly has no place in a negotiation like this, even though beforehand he said he was the one who was capable of doing it, not Marga. Yeah, babe, right ;D ;D Thanks, show, for being so entertaining exactly on the parts I least expected! I can even bear Tato and Lily's flirting! By the way, it was Tato who had them photographed the other day because he now has the picture and is smiling smugly about it so we know it's part of yet another lame evil plan of his Saruman-looking hobo got into a fight with a policeman before he finished eating so he didn't get to tell them about the video. So they put him in a cell and of course first they got his belongings, which included the cell phone so they decided to take a look at it. 205. Show is going in circles with Lalo. It's so frustrating - they make him go one step ahead and then one step behind. Time is running, people! Lalo went to Mercedes to ask for a copy of his contract with Tato, so that he can try to get out of it. Mercedes asked what that meant for the club and Lalo answered a bit smugly about it, saying that he would give Cristal priority in buying him. Mercedes, as expected, didn't like that, but I'm pretty sure she's predisposed not to like anything that comes from him by now. Which makes her an awful football club manager, because so many players have big egos and some even are outright assholes, and if she just wants to keep the ones she thinks are nice, she should seek a different job Not that I'm excusing Lalo for his arrogance either. Well, anyway, she replied that the club isn't interested in keeping him. Later Flaco found Lalito worrying and moping at the club. At least he was having a self-criticizing moment, because the first thing he said is that he's a world-class idiot. Then he said: "I tried to show off and Mercedes turned the situation around. [...] I thought the club would do anything to keep me and I was wrong. And I also thought my teammates envied me and that's why they made my life impossible, and I was also wrong." I really appreciate his self-criticism (and he looks super cute when he does it) but I thought we were past this stage. How many times have we seen Lalo screw up and then see his error and Flaco give him advice? Move on, already I do see he's getting better and better at pinpointing how blind he's been, but really, *move on* Flaco: "You should have been a little humbler, loco. No one is indispensable in life." Lalo kept saying how much of an idiot he's been, and Flaco told him he has a lot to learn, and that he needs to learn ethics. And then Flaco turned to supporting mode and said, again, how Lalo is gonna make it, but he needs to learn a lot as a player and as a person. Then he remembered that once a coach told him he was the best because there was no one like him and said: "There is no one like you, Lalo." And moved to caress Lalo's jaw but for a moment it looked like he was gonna kiss him right there in public. Tonight's question: - Isn't it really sad that the scenes I liked the least to recap were the boys'? Tonight's wish: - Can the boys please stop having the same conversations again and again? I know their acting is so good they almost sell it every time, but it's such a shame

margie No, he's not out of his contract yet. He's gonna try to, and that's what he told Mercedes. And she said the club isn't interested in keeping him. flippav2 and glo and valso Thank you so for your understanding and patience I feel bad I didn't recap last night but I'm gonna do it now. About the training job, well, with the way the show is picturing everyone running away from Flaco like the plague, I doubt he could get such job

flippav2 I see. Well, I thought he was already way on his way after the Chiqui injury incident and the talk with Mercedes, but after yesterday's episode, I'm afraid they're gonna go in circles and make him screw up yet again so he can learn his lessons *sigh* What do you think?

chrys- Second question for ya then- what do you see his "path to redemption" being then? I think he's supposed to learn that the ends don't justify the means: that there are some things that he can't do because football and success aren't worth hurting people and losing yourself.

Did Chiqui call Laura a puta? That was not nice at all. Will Laura remember that Nino was the one who drugged and tortured her? I hope she does soon so they will all realize Nino is still alive. I thought the police suspected he was still alive. He called her " una hija de re mil puta," which means a big son of a bitch, except Spanish allows you to change it to daughter and use it for a woman, get it? As Lamanu said, it's pretty common of an insult and it has nothing to do with calling her a whore or a slut or anything like that. I'm pretty sure the entire cast used that expression a 1000 times already, at everyone And nope, the police doesn't suspect that he's alive and I don't think Laura is gonna remember it, but I might be wrong. I think either he's gonna get caught somewhere, or Tato or Román will expose him, or the police will recover the deleted recordings of Giselle - the ones where she says his real name.

bdc, dalphine, margie, azuma, glo, sanlynn, flippav2, @lamanu: You're all very welcome margie Yes, I think he'll end up outed somehow. I said right there at the end of my recap that Mercedes already knew about the whole undercover operation. I haven't watched the episode when she first found out, though. flippav2 Yeah, I think that Lalo is much more doubtful about the whole thing than his constant wall of defensiveness lets through. Though I do agree with Lamanu when she said he was right and going on vacation together without getting exposed would be impossible. sunshower Welcome to Botinerasland! Yes, there are a load of episodes after that one. Emsol is the only one uploading subtitled episodes now, as far as I know, but she selects mostly the scenes with the boys together. So you'll need background info, but we're here for that. And you can watch the full episodes, in Spanish, in Dante627's channel.

Recap for episode 127, aired on July 21.Status: done. 197. Super Chiqui has mastered his crushed expression. Really, all the way throughout this episode, he managed to convey how much Mía/Laura's betrayal took his by surprise and hurt him. He needs hugs badly! **Lily went to a restaurant with Tato and someone took pictures of them.** 198. Remember I told you I hate hysterical people? Oh well, Marga in hysterics is a whole new level of that. Someone please make her shut up ** Why is the show ending now that I'm liking Román more and more? He's so cool. And Mía tried to be all tough with him, but still told him to go away before the police came to arrest Chiqui.** 199. Lalo keeps being impressive. Such a poker face today. Continuity, yes! We actually got to see the end of their talk in that bar/coffee shop/carajo que sea [Nino reference, by the way ]. And they're very uneasy. Flaco said: "See you later at training?" and then they asked the other what he was going to do before that. Flaco: "What do I know? Go to the flat, eat something, sleep..." [So it's not an underground cave?! I'm disappointed.] Lalito: "Same. I'll go to the guesthouse [so he's back there, thanks for being so clarifying, show!], rest a little, watch TV, I'm a little tired." Flaco looked dejected, asked again if he would see him on the field later, and got even more dejected when Lalo answered with an "okay" and shook his hand as if they were two regular buddies. But Flaco and readers alike, never fear, because this wave of indifference is just a mask, and you know what it hides?!? No? An awesome mind full of great tricks. And they've done it. Cause I really don't know how to convey either my utter suprise with this next scene, or the utter awesomeness of it, or my love for the show at that moment Let me try... **Mercedes is falling for Anguila's little surprises and super adorkableness little by little. The police arrested Chiqui, Marga and Tato: Chiqui for murder and the other two for covering it up. Marga and Tato were released later that day, on habeas corpus.** 200. Lalo's mind is amazing, fantastic, rocks, and he should really be this inventive more often So this music started playing and there is this guy in a suit carrying a suitcase, but we only see the suitcase, so we follow it around to a reception where he talks to a receptionist and then he goes upstairs and knocks at a door. Flaco's door, who's really surprised and asked: "What are you doing here?" And surprise!! It's our dear beloved Lalito, who had the awesome idea of dressing up in a suit, giant sunglasses and gel his hair (plus a super smug smile that I loved ) so he could go see Flaco incognito. That's my boy Lalo's justification: "I had to see you." Cue to music, glasses off and looks of deep love. I could forever watch these two looking at each other **My dear Román went to see Nino. He wanted to be paid so he could disappear now that shit hit the fan. Nino replied that Román doesn't get to decide when it all ends, so he can either quit without any money or stay in business. On the never-ending plot line of Mirta's death, when Tato asked Mía about who had killed her, Marga had an interesting and interested look on her face and music of doom played.** 201. Lalo needs to start facing every issue with his inventiveness instead of saying no. Flaco's living arrangements aren't really a cave - he actually has a very bright bedroom where we see our boys having a pillow talk post-coitus. Okay, nice, but really, give us during-coitus as well Lalo: "And now how do I get up and go train?" lol Flaco suggests they don't go but Lalo said it's almost over, just one more match. He asks what Flaco will do after that and Flaco says he doesn't know, that he has 6 months more in his contract and that he doesn't believe Cristal will renew it He then asks Lalo about his plans and Lalo answered he's stuck with Tato but Flaco said: "we're gonna find a good football lawyer and take you out of it." Then Flaco said he's going on vacation as soon as the tournament is over and asked Lalo if he wanted to come along Sweet, sweet laughs and Flaco suggests places where no one would recognize them, like Polynesian beaches, but Lalito says he prefers snow And then Lalo burst their bubble, saying it's impossible, because someone could expose them and he would never play football again. Yeah, I know that's all sensible of you, babe, but really, search inside that great head of yours for a trick to make it work, will you? **The other scene with Flaco was when he got into Mercedes' office all worried for Super Chiqui's arrest. There was also sidekick Anguila there, who was the counterpoint to the others' surprise when they learned it was for Nino's murder. In case you don't remember, Chiqui had told Anguila the truth. I mention this because it's really cute the way both Flaco and Anguila fretted about Chiqui Oh and I'm not sure if I mentioned this somewhere, but Mercedes has known for a long while about the undercover police operation, so she knows who Arregui and Mía/Laura really are and that's why he told her about Mía/Laura's outing herself by doing the arrest.** 202. Hysterical Marga gave way to crazy, cold-blooded, scheming Marga, and that's the one one should be afraid of. And it was really funny when she said they were arrested for Nino's murder and Lily got super surprised and she replied, very annoyed: "For god's sake, everyone has a dead body on their shoulders." And very calmly she explained she's not afraid anymore and is simply going to think of a way to get Chiqui out of jail. If she has to cut off some heads to achieve that, she's going to sharpen the blade right away. "You know who I am; you know what I'm capable of." Yep, crazy Marga is both fun and frightening Tato recapped the episode to Nino so that he knows all the gossip now as well. Nino: "This motherfucker (Mía) was the one who involved (old) Giselle in all this. She's responsible for her death." [Mía, honey, beware of Nino, once more. Except you think he's dead so you'll probably fall into his next evil scheme just as easily.] Nino: "We should go to jail for being such idiots."
Tato is oblivious about that, though, because he came up with the idea of letting the police know that the body they've found isn't Nino's, so that they would release Chiqui. Of course Nino was against it and of course he threatened Tato with a gun: "Now things have changed. You're gonna do what I tell you." Bossy Nino.
And Laura went to see Chiqui in jail and tried to explain herself, but Chiqui wasn't having any of it. Chiqui: "In my life no one ever played me the way you did. [...] Don't bother me anymore, Lau-ra. Go away and don't ever come back, hija de re mil puta." [which is an emphasized son of a bitch directed to a woman]
Tonight's questions:
- Did I really get to over 200 lessons or did I mess up the counting at some point? - Will either Román or Tato expose Nino? - Can Mía and Chiqui be mended back together?
Tonight's wish:
- May the boys not come near Marga during her current crazy state.

Thanks so much Chrys for the recap YAY for Flaco finally seeing the light regarding Lily- it took long enough! I grow ever-more frustrated with Lalo's inability to give Flaco a hug when he obviously needs one- the phone conversation being a case in point .... and I'm really not sure what to make of his face at the end of the coffee shop scene (but then, after the "I'm lonely" and then NADA scene, I'm not holding my breath waiting for continuity tonight ;D ) Can Lily please kill Tato, Marga kill Lily and Nino kill Marga soon, plsthx ;D Yes, I know, I'm just imagining they hug and kiss offscene cause otherwise why in the world would they still be meeting all the time, right? And yesterday on streaming chat box we were just doing the same: wishing for more and more deaths until we came up with either everyone being set on fire or the especialistas (it's a very annoying product placement in the show) killing everyone in car accidents to sell their damn insurance already Good chatting time for a change. And did I mention Botineras is doing wonders for my fluency in Spanish? @lamanu I do think they would back up their best players if this happened. They would have preferred if they weren't out, of course, but once it was done, I don't think any manager would leave them to fend for themselves like Mercedes is doing. And yes! Chiqui hasn't really killed anyone, so it's gonna be just fine anyway lol. It makes me happy cause now that the truth is out they can finally bring them together again. And you're all very welcome

@gloria and dalphine Thank you so much Okay, I said I wouldn't try to read Lily anymore, but yeah, she is probably trying to get back at Tato somehow and/or save her skin. But that doesn't change the fact that she sucks, in my humble opinion. By the way, sorry everyone, but this time I can't stay up and finish the recap. I'll do it tomorrow, okay?

Recap for episode 126, aired on July 20.Status: Done. Bueno, this one was actually a good episode. Not so much from the boys in terms of togetherness but stuff actually happened! You have no idea how happy that makes me! No long minutes of boredom for me! And Chiqui was sweet in his desperation, and Mía was so beautiful, and there was Román making faces... Well, I liked it Lesson 190. Very important lesson: have faith in the show! We all despaired when we saw Chiqui getting ready to further his injury and win the match last week, right? But no! Just when he was about to go in, Flaco scored the winning goal, they won the match and Chiqui stayed on the bench! YES And they're through to the final But... where is our shot of the players celebrating the goal with Flaco? Well, we got happy Flaco at last **Caring Román is awesome But he didn't tell Mía anything about Salgado. Oh wow! Anguila had under his jersey a shirt with Mercedes' face printed on it, so he would show it when he scored a goal. I hope he scores one in the final then. And they must have the best medical care in the world, because Mía got out of the hospital in like one day?** 191. As much as Super Chiqui is powerful, sadly there are some things he can't do. Like teach Tato what remorse and having a conscience mean He tried to explain how he feels about Nino's death, but it's hopeless. Tato even found a way to blame it on Flaco, saying he was being influenced by Flaco's saying that "la verdad libera" [=truth sets you free]. And before, when Chiqui tried to tell him he should thank Flaco for their win, for his beautiful goal, he said it was a team effort 192. Brave, determined Flaco is still awesome, and hiding somewhere. He came out to play when he went to see Mercedes, bringing her some newspapers and complaining about how everyone only talked about the lack of public and his orientation, and not his goal. Well, Flaco, the second magazine wasn't all that bad... It said "Football without prejudice?", which is an open question, and it had this great picture of you celebrating with the other players, that I really wanted to see [see lesson 190. I guess I should really have more faith ]. Anyway, Flaco voiced my opinion, saying: "The club has to defend me" and "Mercedes, Cristal reached the final with my goal. What's up? A goal scored by a gay man doesn't count?" He suggested she did a press conference, or a release, or just said anything, but she again washed her hands by reminding him of her many troubles and of how his coming out made her life impossible. She even had the gall to finish by saying: "I don't know how to handle it." Really?!? Incompetent. Then Flaco asked if she was... let's translate it for... leaving him to fend for himself. Her answer? Bullshit, bullshit and more bullshit.
**Mía and Chiqui had this great talk full of sweetness that made me cross my fingers so hard that she doesn't end up with Salgado Cause really, it's so simple: Mía = awesome and Chiqui = awesome. Result: Chiqui + Mía. But then again, if she must let him go, my dear Román is also awesome and is just around the corner, eh?
And Tato and Lily keep having those annoying super nice phone talks with each other *vomits* At least there was my dear Román to save the scene again, by making this super annoyed face while he heard them on the phone **
193. So what do we get now? Right, crying Flaco. Flaco's daughter asked him on the phone if he missed her, because he didn't see them when they were in Bs. As. Poor Flaco told her he had no idea they had been in town Bonus compassionate Lalo in the background. And quickly after hanging up crying Flaco turned also angry that not only Lily didn't tell him about the kids, but she took them to Tato's.
And now what? Angry, confrontational Flaco, yeah! I love that one. And directed at Lily? A lot better But we're getting so many emotional states from him today... oh, it's rollercoaster Flaco day again, of course. Anyway, he told Lily off for not letting him know about the kids but emphasized what a horrible idea it was that she took them to Tato's. He attempted to forbid her of doing that again [really, man, get a restriction order for your kids: no Tato in 300km in any direction] but she told him he couldn't forbid her of anything.
194. Marga isn't all bad - she can be quite useful. For example, she talks some sense into Chiqui sometimes. Today she told him how they couldn't be in Tato's hands, so they had to get the gun [the one that "killed" Nino] out of Tato's safety. She also said a lot of good things about Chiqui, cause she actually loves him, in her evil, crazy way.
195. Now Flaco knows real Lily - the one we've had to endure all this time. One really good thing about this episode? Lily did it! She finally made Flaco see her as a bad person! *claps*
So the boys were again at a coffee shop... Or was it a bar? Anyway. Lalo asked Flaco what Lily had told him and Flaco asnwered: "Bullshit. You know her, she's shameless." Hallelujah. Then he went on: "Look, Lalo, since we broke up, I don't recognize Lily. I assure you it's a different woman... indignant, resentful... a different person." [And I don't know about you guys, but I feel better now.]
Lalo asked him what he was going to do, because he looked worse and worse and Flaco answered that he doesn't know. Is this a repeat? Oh no, they're just reenacting the same talk they've had a billion times, okay. Then Lalo asked who kept calling Flaco's cell and Flaco said it was press from all countries and that they only wanted to know who he's had affairs with and who's gay in the football world. And I really don't like Lalo's face at all this... He may be about to do something stupid
** The police may be getting somewhere. They got evil-Giselle's recorder - she had recorded stuff about Nino's real identity there. The important files were deleted but apparently they watch American criminal shows so they're gonna try to recover the files.**
196. Surprise!! One big revelation isn't enough for the show, so they did two in less than 5 minutes. First, Chiqui was trying to get the gun out of Tato's safety and Mía caught him. He stammered a bit - and have I mentioned he used to do that a lot and it's cute? Too bad he doesn't do it much now - but then he probably couldn't handle how awesome Mía was looking and told her the truth: that he killed Nino, why and how. So Mía tried to convince him to turn himself in and tell the police the truth. And of course she also managed that. When Chiqui was about to grab the phone and make the call, Marga went in, grabbed the gun and demanded that he didn't do that and that they threw the gun away instead. So time for second surprise: Mía grabbed the gun back, showed them her police badge and gave Chiqui order of arrest Yep, she outed herself as a cop Show is really ending soon
No wishes or questions cause of the lateness, sorry.
