Tiny little secret: I kinda like Dr. Leo. Which is strange because Leonard bugs me most of the time except those times when he doesn't.
I also liked that after the injury Olli sounds like he has a clogged up nose. Very cute.
I actually liked this episode. I thought it was sweet.

Are the highlights gone? It looks like Thore's hair is back to normal, at least in the hospital scene.

I like how upset Gregor was by Olli's assault. I also get why Christian reacted after he brought Olli to the hospital. I believe that he's in shock about what happened. He'll get to the point of utter anger and wanting to give Axel an ass whooping like he's never imagined. Hell, I would love to see Olivia and Christian alone in a room with that neanderthal. He wouldn't make it out alive.
btw - Thank you, Ivan for the clip and the screencaps.

Notice how the preview pic from today's episode wasn't in the episode at all? The background suggests that it's in the kitchen. At first I thought either the scene will be tomorrow or they cut a scene. But it doesn't really fit in anywhere. Christian is wearing the green shirt he is wearing at the hospital, but then he changes it to the white tattoo shirt. I'm starting to wonder if nobody in VL world can get it up unless there is some sort of farm bird watching

I think the pic is actually from the scene with Ollian fighting in the kitchen before the boxing fight in Friday's episode, since Chris was making himself a protein shake and you can see that in the background.

Poor, poor, Olli. He looks terrible. Who could do such a thing to such a sweet guy? Axel is a real piece of work, to say the least! (What Aldebaran said yesterday sums it up quite nicely, actually.) At least he's perked up by the next day/evening. It looks like a sweet scene between them in the bedroom. I'm looking forward to seeing Nanna's subtitles. On Christian's reaction on finding Olli, I'm undecided on it. I want to reserve some judgement until I see it with subtitles, so I can understand the dialog better.

I'm going to write something very unpopular, so please don't read it if you want lovey dovey stuff!I didn't like this episode very much. If I were Christian, I'd have gone ballistic. The interaction was a little robotic for my taste. I wanted to see him attend to Olli tenderly, but all we got was a miniscule scene, a smallish peck on the lips, and he then scoots off for food. And then not informing Leo who did it. Er, Christian, wtf is wrong with you??? I'd be screaming blue murder and would want to have Axel's head on a spike, amongst other things. Olli's acting is very good. But Christian behaved like... I don't know. Certainly not like the loving boyfriend. The hospital scene was luke-warm, at best! Today, Christian gave a marvellous heterosexual performance. A minor note: Axel has caused considerable damage to Olli's face, but we don't see this. It's a gash at best, nothing more. Olli must have incredible healing properties like that hairy X-Men chap, Wolverine(?)! Ivan, thanks a million for everything. Great caps and video. You really do catch the best bits!

Aaaw, the ending was really sweet. And the dialogue about the cooking made me laugh, too. C: Does it hurt? O: Only when I'm laughing. C: Do you want me to cook something for you? O: Oh boy, I told you I mustn't laugh! C: You know I love to cook, so if you... O: Yeah, maybe later. Thanks, IvanIV!

hee..I loved the quip about the "farm animals" watching. Ha..that made me almost spit out my coffee....hee. Thank you..I needed that laugh. Now on to the show. I do believe that the actress that plays Judith (can't think of her name right off the top of my head) has THE best job in showbusiness. I mean, can you imagine. "hey friends, I get to go to work today and spend it reading lines while a gorgeous hot naked man lathers away in a tub in the same room with me". I've had roommates in my time, but was never lucky enough to have something like that happen. Count me in as one of those that was a wee bit surprised at the lack of emotion from Christian upon finding Olli bleeding profusely on the floor. I mean, he can have a temper tantum over Olli having drinks with the "idiot from the gym" but not go ballistic over his lover laying on the floor covered in blood. Maybe he is in shock and not having seen ..ie heard.. the words being said, maybe I should hold my real thoughts until then. What I am saying now is pure speculation from watching the show and not understanding what is going on. I can read his facial expressions thought (good job Thore) and I see the guilt all over it. And as for my baby Olli...I just want to climb in that bed, snuggle him in my arms and rock him until he feels better...wait...he's a grown man... hum.... still want to do it.

Torrid German Love, "unpopular" opinions are fine. Everyone's going to have a different interpretation of things (except me, Amber and Aldebaran who seem to share a brain most of the time when it comes to VL) that happen on the show. It's all good. It's how people voice their thoughts, unpopular or otherwise, and how folks respond to other's opinions as well that are more of a concern to the mods. I still haven't watched it so I can't comment on the clip itself, though I did read GayTime's recap of the clip on TGoDT blog so I know what happens (and my ok German will help with the rest ). I am looking forward to it though I am glad that the bashing itself was kept to a minimum. I already went through that with AWZ... And I see no red shirt on Gregor again. Though AJ looks mighty fine in the screencaps.

I'm not intending to start a fight, and this is a potentially touchy point, so hopefully we can tread carefully. Today, Christian gave a marvellous heterosexual performance. Although I am trying to withhold judgement on much of this episode until such time as I can understand the dialogue, I certainly can understand the criticism that Christian didn't show enough emotion or tenderness when he found Olli on the floor of No Limits or when they were at the hospital. But I have to wonder how this was a heterosexual performance. Might we not make allowance enough for differences in situation and temper, as Jane Austen might say?

Anyone think Christian acted that way in the hospital scene because of Leno's history with Gregory?

Anyone think Christian acted that way in the hospital scene because of Leno's history with Gregory? I didn't really get that impression. Christian never seemed to have a beef with Leonard (for unknown reasons, to me that never quite made sense with his personality). After all he called Gregor on being rude to Leo at Rebecca's brunch and previously defended Sarah and Leonard to some extent when Leo came to see Gregor and begged Gregor to help Sarah because Sarah had been injuring herself and Leo couldn't get through to her. But how terrible Christian has traditionally been when it comes to comforting Gregor when Gregor was really suffering over the Sarah thing is another topic. It always bugged me that he didn't even hug Gregor after Sarah lost Gregor and Sarah's baby.

Might we not make allowance enough for differences in situation and temper, as Jane Austen might say? Restenergy, Christain and Oliver are lovers, but Christian's, almost lackadaisical, behaviour towards Olli gave the impression that he (C) was nothing more than a good buddy. No intimacy at the hospital, nothing. After the big outing yesterday, I'd expected him to be a bit more physical with Olli, but there was no sign of it. It would have been a marvellous homosexual performance if there was just "an atom of physical contact". As for Ms. Austen's words, I dare to add: Most certainly, my dear, but not where my boyfriend's concerned. I expect him to behave predictably, irrepective of the situation.

Thanks Ivan!
I liked today's epi. Didn't love it. And I for one, won't put all the blame on Thore. I think somebody, whether it was the writers, the director, or even the actors didn't quite make this a great episode.
I found some of Olli's reactions and motivations just as odd as Christian's, and found some of Jo's and Thore's acting choices not quite "fulfilling" today. But that's my personal opinion.
Whatever way the actors are playing these scenes, the director and producers are apparently satisfied with the results, so we can't hang it all on the performances.
Oh well, they can't all be winners everyday. They film hundreds of episodes a year and I don't find it strange that here and there things aren't tip-top.
I'm also a bit sick of the way they're shooting and blocking these Judith/Christian scenes. To me they're coming across as a bit too intimate.
