I don't know why, but, I found it really hard to get through that clip. I already feel so bad for Aaron and just want to hug him.....and Adam, you're not really helping at the moment.

That clip really gets to me. You can see Aaron flinching when Adam wants to touch him. He isn't expecting that and I think Adam caring about him enough to want to clean his wound just pushes his mixed feelings way further than even he expected. He's shocked at what he's done, and he pretends it never happened. I feel awful for him. The terror in his eyes...
I'm glad that Adam, aside from the "pretty boy" comment, is not as homophobic in his reaction as I worried he might have been, but he still ends up making Aaron just shut down even more.

How quickly did the "gay" word fall from Adam's lips - something on his mind perhaps  Seemed he was pushing awfully hard to label Aaron  while Aaron himself was just in a complete state of shock  |

Yes, he almost has to push Aaron into a corner immediately, has to make sure it's all Aaron's fault. Aaron meanwhile is too stunned to know what's going on. You can see those last few walls of Aaron's crumbling...only to get punched in the gut.
This is a very dramatic scene, of course, and I am not going to expect anything between them, but the almost kiss is kind of hot. At least if Aaron ever does get to kiss another bloke, we might know it will look good...

And not quite the lines one was expecting from the published spoilers in the magazines, eh? This is somewhat similar in essence to the "Rubbish"-comment in E.M. Forster's Maurice. So, this gives much more hope for the future A&A than the spoilers did.  |

OMG! Just noticed it. Adam kisses his own sleeve before putting on the cut. How sweet. This is so much better than I expected, and now I can't wait to next Thursday. Very well written and damn good acting. Attaboy!

I´m absolutely new to this story line, so this question may sound stupid or ignorant, but I have read almost all of those spoiler articles and is it possible that Aaron will actually find himself (in the end) as a gay man, but will not be in the relationship with Adam? That this short "episode" with Adam will be just a way for him to became self conscious about his sexuality/personality, but nothing else? What do you think, people? All Right!!! I'm just too tired to even contemplate another beard and Hi to all in the Emmerdale board, first posting here:) Here's to AA being the best sl in 2010! Of course I know tht it's going to take some time to develop this storyline, it's a soap opera, but sure I hope it won't last SO long! Maybe just a few months? I really wonder if at the end Aaron and Adam will end up together... I hope so! They're really cute together! |

I´ve only just found out, that everyone else is as in the dark as I am, so it´s not just a think of comming here late and found out what´s going on late. I´m really interested how this SL will unfold, but I would rather be carefully optimistic, than believe AA will happened only to be disappointed later on. Still... those two actors are good, I think the waiting will be eventually worth it. Thanks again. |

OMG thanks so much for all the new info and the articles, I'm looking forward Christmas time even more than before. I sincerely hope they will be paired up cause I think they're have lots of potential.

The new spoilers are interesting. I'm kinda liking the twist - Aaron who intiated things and has gone in full reverse is now feeling uncomfortable because Adam is being nice about things- hmmmmmm. As to who he ends up in bed with - I think that's probably predictable at this stage of the story It would appear that Adam is gonna be seen as the one who can't let things rest - and in doing so - maybe start making people question his motives. |

Ending up in bed with her doesn't necessarily mean he sleeps with her. Here's hoping someone (like Adam ;D) interrupts them before anything happens. I don't mind Aaron sleeping with a few girls, just to make sure he doesn't care for it anymore, but I don't want him bedding his crush's sister.
I can't wait for the karaoke! I hope they are pressured into doing a love-song. ;D

I do like how they're playing it a little different. Usually when one character tries to kiss another one and that person tells people what happened they believe them, and then the gay character tries to deny, but nobody's buying it. This is the reverse of that. Adam gets to the point where he's practically telling everyone that will listen and no one believes that Aaron could be gay...which is understandable, but, still must be frustrating for Adam. I wonder what the ultimatum Adam gives him is. Maybe he tells Aaron that he has to choose between dating Holly or having a friendship with him? Maybe it's a test to see how much Aaron cares about him? I don't know, but, either way, the spoilers look great. Christmas is sure to be awkward.
