I note this bit from the link that you posted, caitlinp.
"Meanwhile, after finding out her husband had been having a saucy affair behind her back, the return of Syed's estranged wife Amira could cause chaos for the couple, especially if she reveals she is pregnant with Syed's child. The source added to Inside Soap magazine: 'Of course, what Syed doesn't know is that his wife Amira was secretly pregnant when she left him. No one knows when she could return to throw his new life with Christian into total chaos.'"
That reads more as a tease than as an actual spoiler, but it's interesting that the "source" is raising the question.

Tuesday, January 13: "Tamwar is frustrated by Zainab’s interference at the restaurant. He calls Afia and arranges to meet her at the Vic, however doesn’t realise that his parents will also be there. Masood and Zainab are furious when Afia enters the pub but Darren covers for Tamwar and explains that Afia has come to visit him. As Masood promises to keep Afia and her father away from Zainab, Tamwar vows to stand up to his parents over his relationship with Afia."
Thursday, January 20: "Elsewhere on the square, it is the day of the Argee Bhajee’s grand re-opening. Syed drops off a good luck card at the restaurant and when Zainab finds it, she is secretly choked by the sentiment but Masood rips the card up. With the restaurant opening night in full swing, Tamwar meets Afia and she tells him that if he doesn’t break the news to his parents now, then they are finished. She walks into the restaurant, followed closely by Tamwar, just as Masood is making his opening night speech. Will Tamwar tell his parents how he feels about Afia?
Also Roxy tells Christian not to put off discussing the idea of a baby with Syed any longer. When he approaches Syed he receives a frustrated response--it’s not the right time."
Friday, January 21: "Zainab enquires about a liquor licence for the Argee Bhajee and Masood agrees to let her apply as it makes sense for the business, but only as long as the licence is not in his name. Tamwar visits Syed and asks if he can stay for a while. Syed tells him about the idea of having a baby with Christian and, as he does so, he comes to a decision--what will Syed decide? Meanwhile, Zainab asks Denise for advice on how to handle Tamwar."

It seems like before he leaves, Christian gives Roxy a sperm sample, and before Syed and Christian can tell her that they want to wait to have a baby, she implants herself with the sperm.  They call it a DIY job. |

Tuesday, January 25: "Christian is feeling excited about having a baby, but Syed doesn't want to rush in too quickly. Nevertheless, Christian heads over to visit Roxy, who surprises him by having no recollection of her offer to be a surrogate. However, Roxy then awkwardly tells Christian that she does remember after all. Christian says that he and Syed will be around later, prompting Roxy to feign a smile--it seems like she'd forgotten about Syed's involvement until that point. At the same time, Syed confides in Tamwar about the situation. Tamwar asks Syed whether he really wants a child and explains that their parents would probably never accept it. Later, Syed spots Zainab and tries to help with her shopping, but she snubs him.
Roxy tells Glenda about her plans with Christian, but Glenda feels it necessary to remind her that it wouldn't be her baby and that it sounds like she wishes Christian was straight. Later, Christian turns up at Roxy's and they discuss how they would make the conception happen. Roxy makes Christian laugh by suggesting that they could sleep together, and Roxy has to pretend that she was only joking. Roxy soon ends up with a sample which she puts in the fridge, and she must decide whether to go through with the idea. However, when Christian and Syed spend time alone, Syed says that it's all moving too fast. Christian agrees that they can wait and the pair rush to stop Roxy--but she reveals that she's already gone through with the plan..."
Thursday, January 27: "Christian and Syed argue about the situation they have got into with Roxy. Syed protests that having a child was what Christian wanted and not a decision they made together. Christian suggests that Roxy could take the pill, but Syed is against the idea--saying they should just pray that it doesn't work out. When Roxy joins the couple for lunch, she senses an atmosphere--but Syed claims they were merely arguing over baby names."
Friday, January 28: "Roxy talks to 'James' in his cot, asking if he would like a 'little friend.' Ronnie overhears and is shocked when Roxy tells her about her plan. Ronnie discusses the reality of the situation with Roxy, but it is clear to her that Roxy wants a baby with Christian rather than wanting to help Christian and Syed."

Elsewhere, Roxy turns up late at the salon, meaning that she has to face angry customers as well as Tanya and Syed. Later, Tanya catches Syed downloading the salon's client list. Syed is terrified that Tanya will reveal his sneaky behaviour, but she instead confesses that she's already downloaded the list herself.

From the John Partridge and Marc Elliott Fans Discussion page: March 28thSyed and Tanya plot to put Roxy out of business so they can start up their own as a replacement. However, Christian walks in on the pair's conversation and wonders what's going on. Not wanting to be dishonest to his partner, Syed hands him some paperwork which explains all, before walking out. Later, Christian finds Syed and Tanya in the café and Syed tells Tanya that Christian knows about their scheme. An unhappy Christian asks how Roxy will feel when she finds out what they're up to, but Syed says bluntly that he doesn't expect him to tell her as he's his boyfriend and that outranks the position of best friend. Christian is left speechless by Syed's behaviour. March 31st31/03/11 Christian is outraged that Syed has stolen Roxy's client list. Syed defends himself but Christian threatens to tell Roxy the truth - prompting Syed to storm off. Later, Syed informs Tanya of Christian's intentions but Tanya insists that she doesn't care now and is just looking forward to opening her own place after the wedding. At the same time, Christian tries to tell Roxy about the plotting that's going on, but she's too distracted by the fact that Ronnie has disappeared. Christian eventually informs Syed that he won't be telling Roxy after all. Syed then asks Christian to help him move his things out of the salon, while Tanya tells Christian to move everything to her house as she'll be opening up her own salon in her lounge. April 1stTanya and Syed set up their new salon at Tanya's house, while Roxy is horrified to discover that her salon is closed. She tries to call Tanya for an explanation but Tanya decides not to answer the call. Already feeling guilty over the Ronnie situation, Michael promises Roxy that he'll find Tanya to find out what's going on. When he sees Tanya setting up the makeshift salon at home, Tanya has to explain that Roxy has been treating her employees badly. Later, Michael suggests that Tanya should buy the salon. There's also a magazine article about Zainab leaving Syed to die after the roof collapses. A little bit more about the Masoods: "It's Masood's birthday and a busy time for the Masood family as they continue to make arrangements for the engagement party. Masood complains of a headache so Afia suggests he visit the shop later for an eye test. Later, following his eye test, Masood gets chatting to one of Afia's colleagues and is unhappy to learn that Afia was always popular with the boys. Believing that Afia hasn't been honest with Tamwar about her past, Masood is cold towards her as he leaves the shop. Later, Masood tells Tamwar and Afia that he has something to ask Afia."
Thursday, April 7th
"As Christian maintains his vigil by Syed's side in hospital, guilt and deception lead Zainab to a place she never thought she'd visit again."

Is it the Ender? Syed's life hangs in the balance after roof collapse  Dead or alive... Syed is knocked unconscious in restaurant SYED'S life hangs in the balance in EastEnders after the roof falls in at his family's restaurant. On the night of Tamwar (Himesh Patel) and Afia's (Meryl Fernandes) engagement party, Greg (Stefan Booth) tries to fix the damage at the Argee Bharjee. However, he warns Masood (Nitin Ganatra) the extension is dangerous and the restaurant should be closed. But Masood decides to ignore his advice and go ahead with the party. Later on, Syed (Marc Elliott) shows up with boyfriend Christian to lend his support to his little brother-but Masood and Zainab tell the couple they are not welcome. In the midst of the row, the ceiling suddenly gives way. Syed is trapped in the rubble but manages to tell Christian (John Partridge) he is okay. But then a roof beam crashes down on top of Syed. Watch it on Tuesday April 5. |

April 4th Afia is confused about Masood's remarks until he explains how he's been told that Tamwar is not her first boyfriend. Tamwar insists that Masood is mistaken and accuses him of trying to destroy his relationship. An upset Afia runs off and Tamwar tries to go after her, but he fails to find his fiancée. On his way home, however, he bumps into Christian and Syed who are going away to Brighton for the evening. The pair give Tamwar the keys to their flat and say that he can stay there to get away from it all for the night. Tamwar returns home and tells Masood that until he apologises and Afia accepts it, he no longer has a father. Tamwar finds Afia in the café and she expresses her fear that Masood will tell Yusef and thus ruin her life. Tamwar tells Afia that their families' interference has become too much and it's time to do something about it. The pair then meet up with Jodie and Darren and reveal that they're going to get married that night. When they ask their friends to come with them, Jodie and Darren agree and they all head off in a taxi together. Later, Tamwar and Afia arrive back as a married couple and go back to Christian and Syed's flat April 5th Christian and Syed arrive back from Brighton and are shocked when Tamwar tells them that he and Afia are now husband and wife. The pair explain that they plan to reveal their happy news to their parents before the engagement party, but Syed advises keeping it quiet until after the bash. Later, Tamwar arrives at the Argee Bhajee with Afia, and Masood apologises for what he said the day before, which they both accept. As the day continues, Tamwar tells Syed that he wants him to attend the party but Syed says that it isn't a good idea. Tamwar later informs Yusef that he wants Syed to be there, so Yusef agrees to speak to Masood on his behalf. Yusef doesn't speak to Masood at all but still informs Syed that Masood wants him to be there because he's ready to move on. After hearing Yusef's lies, Syed agrees to go to the party with Christian. Christian and Syed turn up. Masood and Zainab order the couple to leave as they're not welcome, but Syed refuses to go and Tamwar declares that he wants Syed and Christian to stay. As a row breaks out, the ceiling of the restaurant collapses, burying the guests in dust and debris. Syed is buried in the rubble and trapped by a large piece of plasterboard. He tells Christian that he's okay but the roof beam above then crashes down on top of him… Will Syed survive the accident?    April 7thSyed lies injured on the floor in the Argee Bhajee with a worried Christian by his side. Zainab goes to move towards Syed but when she sees that people are watching, she stops herself and Tamwar and Jane are both disgusted that she will not acknowledge her son. Yusef then takes control of the situation by ordering Masood to get everyone out and to call an ambulance for Syed. The restaurant is then evacuated, with only Christian, Yusef and Tamwar remaining inside. Christian and Yusef try to get Syed to respond to them but it's no use as Syed just lies there…   Yusef is with Zainab at her home, suggesting that she should visit Syed in hospital. Zainab says that it would only anger Masood if she visited Syed, but Yusef informs her that her son is in a bad way and she should change her mind. What will Zainab do?

None of these spoilers are related to Christian and Syed specifically, but I'm posting them on the assumption that they are going be to drawn into the Masood family storyline.
Monday, April 11th:
"Phil refuses to increase Masood's loan as he is already behind with the repayments. Meanwhile, Ian learns from Dot that the Masood empire is under threat. When Zainab enters the café, Ian offers to buy her out of Masala Queen at a price that suits him. Zainab swiftly declines Ian's insulting offer but relents when he offers to drop his compensation claim as part of the deal. Finding Phil at the Arches, Zainab's shocked when he reveals the extent of Masood's debt. After Zainab becomes irate, Phil taunts her by claiming that he'd changed his mind about the extra money Masood wanted until she came round shouting the odds."
Friday, April 22:
"Tensions rise between Zainab and Masood, in the week's final slice of drama from Albert Square. Zainab turns down a windfall but Masood decides to resort to desperate measures."

In scenes to be screened next month teary Christian Clarke gets down on one knee and asks Syed Masood to marry him. Insiders at the BBC soap say bosses are now planning the programme’s first gay wedding which could be the show’s “big event of the summer”. The EastEnders source added: “Christian and Syed have had a colourful and controversial relationship in Albert Square from day one. Syed felt torn between his Muslim faith and how he felt in his heart. “He went ahead with his marriage to Amira despite telling his mum about his feelings for Christian – and those feelings have not gone away.” EastEnders chiefs are also discussing the possibility that if the marriage is well received, the couple, pictured left, will follow in the footsteps of Sir Elton John and partner David Furnish by having a baby with the help of a surrogate mum. The source added: “If everything goes ahead, Christian and Syed will be the biggest stars on the soap providing some happy news after the baby swap storyline which went down so badly with viewers.” Christian, played by 39-year-old John Partridge, was filmed popping the question to Syed last week. 'EastEnders' actor promises Masood shocks
Nitin Ganatra has revealed that his EastEnders character Masood Ahmed will head down a dark path as his current storyline continues.
In recent weeks, Masood has found his marriage to Zainab (Nina Wadia) come under strain amid their ongoing financial problems and the troublesome presence of Zainab's ex-husband Yusef Khan (Ace Bhatti).
Speaking to Inside Soap, Ganatra confirmed that Masood's woes have only just begun as his life will continue to spiral out of control in the coming months.
He explained: "We're shooting scenes at the moment that are really exciting. Masood is becoming darker and more desperate, and we could even see him become a little bit dangerous with his actions.
"He'll find himself increasingly isolated from his wife and his family - it's going to be brilliant to watch."
EastEnders fans will get a glimpse of Masood's desperation in next week's episodes, which see him start gambling again in a bid to solve his financial mess.
At the same time, Masood feels betrayed by Zainab when she decides to accept a loan from Yusef and goes against his wishes by spending time with estranged son Syed for the first time in months
