Meanwhile, at Christian's flat, Syed is embarrassed when he has to ask Christian for money to do some shopping. Syed resolves to get himself a job and later tells Tamwar that he wants to go back into the property market. However, when he calls his old contacts with no success, Syed feels disillusioned. Christian offers Syed a job as his PA, but Syed sees that as simply being a 'glorified skivvy'. However, he soon realises that he has no other option and agrees to the idea.

Tuesday, November 2

Elsewhere, Christian and Syed arrive at the Beales', telling a surprised Jane that Ian invited them over as he has an announcement to make. Ian arrives home and directs them into the garden to find Bobby standing there with the pink ribbon stolen from The Vic wrapped around him. Ian takes out the letter, revealing that it gives them a date for the court hearing about the adoption. As Bobby performs a poem for Jane, Ian tells her that in a few weeks they will
be a proper family.

Thursday, November 4

At the Beales', Ian continues to celebrate as he brings out an expensive-looking cake for Jane topped with mother and child figurines. With Ian and Syed busy in the kitchen, Jane and Christian have a chance to talk alone. Jane brings up the topic of Ian, saying she needs to hear the things Christian hates about Ian in order to fill her head with negative thoughts so she can hate him again, as the adoption was the nicest thing he has ever done for her.

Christian learns that Jane was planning to move up north for a new start until she saw Bobby's reaction to the news of the adoption. Jane tells him the story of Lucy's abortion and Christian is shocked and disgusted, telling her to leave as soon as she can. Later on, Ian questions Jane on seeming a bit down, but she lies to him, insisting that she is happy but just overwhelmed. Meanwhile, Kim realises she has accidentally picked up Denise's handbag and after rummaging through it, she finds a letter relating to Jane's secret bank account. Kim arrives at the Beales' and hands the letter to Ian, who reads it while Jane is at work...

Friday, November 5

Meanwhile, Jane wakes up to a call from Denise, alerting her to the fact that Ian has the letter. As Ian leaves for the bank, Jane is left to frantically search for the letter, making a mess as she fails to find it. Christian advises her to invent a cover story about taking Ian on a trip away to Paris as a surprise Christmas present, which she later uses when Ian confronts her about the letter. Despite the unconvincing story, Ian believes her. Jane's heart sinks as she is forced to go through with it and call the travel agents. Jane later meets Christian at The Vic and explains what has happened. Christian then offers to open a new bank account for Jane in his name…

Monday, November 22: "Zainab goes to meet with the estate agent about her bid for the Argee Bhajee but Ian shows up too. Afia makes an excellent impression when she has her first proper meeting with Zainab and Masood."

Tuesday, November 23: "Ian is struggling to keep his interest in purchasing the Argee Bhajee a secret from Jane. While discussing his interest with Peter, Jane overhears and her suspicion grows. Later, Ian meets the estate agent and tries to bribe him to find out who the other bidders are. Although the estate agent takes the bribe, he only discloses that the other bidder is Zainab. The price of the bid remains unknown. As the day continues, Ian unsuccessfully tries to spy on Zainab while she writes her bid. Undeterred, Ian breaks into the Masoods' in an attempt to see what Zainab's bid is. Before Ian has time to escape, Zainab and Tamwar return from the shops and Ian has to hide behind the open door. Ian creeps to the front door but the doorbell rings. Standing at the door are Bianca, Glenda, Whitney, Denise, Jane and Zainab, who have all agreed to get ready together in preparation for the charity auction being held by Alfie that evening. Ian darts to the cupboard under the stairs to hide. Although Zainab has banned alcohol, the girls sneak some in and Jane finishes numerous drinks. They begin to discuss Jane's relationship with Ian and Jane bursts into tears, leaving the other women lost. An emotional Jane explains the state of their relationship and says that she no longer loves Ian so she is leaving him. Under the stairs, Ian is distressed having witnessing the entire conversation. Glenda accidentally finds Ian hiding in the cupboard.

Meanwhile, Masood coaches Tamwar on how to act ahead of his first meeting with Afia's father. Tamwar's meeting with Afia's dad goes well."

Thursday, November 25: "Ian comes out from under the stairs and checks the envelope. He then goes home upset but this quickly turns into anger and he decides to go to The Vic to confront Jane. On his way, he bumps into Glenda and he asks why she did not speak up when she discovered him under the stairs. Glenda doesn't think Jane appreciates Ian and they agree to go to Glenda's to talk. They kiss and Glenda darts out to get some wine before they move into the bedroom. As Ian waits for Glenda naked, Bianca accidentally walks in on him. They share an awkward exchange in which Ian asks Bianca to keep this a secret and offers a pay rise.

Elsewhere, Tamwar tells Zainab and Masood that he is bringing Afia and her father around to meet them that evening. When Tamwar's parents meet their guests, they recognise Afia's father as a face from the past and Masood throws both of them out of the house."

Friday, November 26: "Glenda attempts to apologize to Ian for leaving him dangling last night and Ian responds awkwardly, insisting that it doesn't matter while trying to ensure that Bianca does not overhear. Ian then informs Bianca that he is actually happy she found him because he now knows he really loves Jane. Later, Ian submits his bid for the Argee Bhajee and asks the estate agent for a favour. He goes on to inform Jane that he needs to see her at the restaurant. She arrives to one table in the middle of the restaurant laid romantically for two. Ian has named the restaurant after her, however Jane is suspicious and asks Ian what he has done wrong to cause such guilty actions. Jane approaches the topic of Lucy's miscarriage but Ian argues that it was all Lucy's idea. Jane is still largely unconvinced.

Meanwhile, Afia visits Tamwar at the stall to try to clear things up, saying that she honestly did not know there was past history between their families. Unfortunately, Tamwar's parents have banned him from seeing her and therefore nothing can happen between them. Upset, Afia leaves. Masood and Zainab discuss how to handle the situation appropriately. Masood insists nothing should happen. Afia's father pays a visit to Zainab to try to convince her to allow Afia and Tamwar to see each other. Masood arrives home and, infuriated to see him there, asks their visitor to leave. Masood then receives a call from the bank saying that their application has been successful. Angry, he confronts Zainab. They argue with Masood venting his frustration and walking out, leaving Zainab reeling. When Masood meets Jane at the café, she talks about her troubled relationship with Ian and Masood reaches to hold her hand."

Monday, November 29: "Masood and Jane take their relationship to the next level with a visit to a hotel. Ian and Zainab anxiously wait to hear who has emerged victorious in the bid for the Argee Bhajee."

Tuesday, November 30: "Emotions run high when Jane makes a shocking confession to Ian. Meanwhile, Syed is puzzled when he finds Masood’s hotel room key."

Thursday, December 2: "Syed’s determination to make Tamwar happy drives him to desperate measures."

Friday, December 3: "Syed faces a dilemma as he wrestles with a secret that could destroy his parents’ marriage. Elsewhere, Jane and Masood panic when Zainab delights in goading a nihilistic Ian."

Monday, November 29: "Ian is confident he’ll win the bidding war over the Argee Bhajee as he knows how much money Zainab has offered. Meanwhile, things are not going well between Zainab and Masood and Tamwar is annoyed his mother is using him as her excuse for wanting to buy the restaurant. Later, Jane and Masood find themselves in a hotel room together. There’s a connection between them but Masood eventually admits to Jane that he loves his wife. Masood and Jane agree to remain friends. Back in the Square, Zainab and Ian are oblivious to their partners’ actions, when they find out that Zainab has won the bidding war."

Tuesday, November 30: "When Jane and Masood return home, Christian soon realises that Masood is the man Jane spent the afternoon with. Syed’s suspicions are aroused when he finds the hotel key that Jane left behind. Jane returns home to tell Ian that she is leaving him and tells him the truth about Masood. After many tears and talking everything through, Jane eventually decides to work at their marriage. Meanwhile, Masood finds Zainab and overcome with guilt he agrees to buying the Argee Bhajee."

Thursday, December 2: "Masood is left paranoid when Jane reveals that Ian knows all about their secret hotel visit. Later, a raging Ian confronts Masood and ends up punching him. Masood apologises to Ian and insists that nothing happened between him and Jane. Ian is stung when Masood tells him some home truths about his relationship with Jane. Later, Ian apologises to Jane but inside he can’t let it go.

Syed tries to encourage Tamwar to stand up for himself against their parents. Later, Syed confides in Christian that he suspects his father is having an affair with Jane. Syed comes up with a plan to allow Afia and Tamwar to spend some time together. Later, Afia and Tamwar decide to talk to Masood but Masood tells Afia to leave and forbids Tamwar from seeing her again. Syed then confronts Masood about his affair with Jane and threatens to reveal all. Masood calls Syed’s bluff and tells him to return tomorrow to tell Zainab what he knows, Syed defiantly agrees to do just that."

Friday, December 3: "Syed is about to tell Zainab about Masood and Jane, but at the last minute decides he can’t go through with it so instead thanks her for saving him in the fire. Zainab is touched but doesn’t have anything to say to Syed. Later, Ian is bewildered when Zainab invites him and Jane over for lunch. When Glenda puts in an appearance at the cafe, Ian feels uncomfortable following their encounter the previous evening. At the Vic, Syed warns Jane to stay away from Masood. When Christian comes to Jane’s defence, Syed realises that Christian knew about Jane and Masood. Syed is upset that Christian has lied to him.

Later lunch at the Masood’s is a tense affair when Ian starts dropping hints about what Masood and his wife have been up to. Zainab accuses Ian of wanting to buy her and Masood out of Masala Queen but Ian denies this. After the meal, Jane confronts Ian over his behaviour but as Ian looks over at Glenda, it’s clear he hasn’t got it all out of his system yet. Meanwhile, Jane finds Masood at the Vic and they talk about the awful lunch. Masood points out that they wouldn’t be any worse off had they actually gone through with their ’affair’."

Thursday, December 9: "Ian and Jane continue to plan for Peter’s birthday and Ian gives him a £100 gift. After witnessing an exchange between Peter and Whitney in the market, Jane realises that Whitney doesn’t care about Peter as much as he cares about her. Jane’s confusion is compounded further when Peter reveals to Janine that he thinks Whitney is ’the one’. Later, Peter eyes up an engagement ring in the pawn shop window. Meanwhile, Ian approaches Glenda saying he enjoyed their time together and proposes they go back to hers. Glenda initially resists but relents when Ian pays her numerous compliments. Later, Glenda is left disappointed by Ian’s performance in the sack."

Jane tries to convince Peter to wait until Valentine’s Day when he reveals his plans to propose to Whitney. Later, a drunk Ian arrives late for Peter’s party and starts insulting Whitney. Peter is furious and storms out of the party, followed by Whitney, Lauren and Fat Boy. Jane shoots Ian an angry look."

Someone named Toby Ansits, he gives out spoilers on a radio show,said that Zainab will be forced to sleep with Afia's father when he loans her money, but then Zainab finds out about Jane and Masood, so she willingly begins to have an affair with Afia's father.

Gay Surrogacy Storyline Planned?

Are Christian and Syed about to become Walford’s latest parents?

According to reports in the Mirror, EastEnders is to embark on a controversial gay surrogacy storyline.

Christian Clarke and Syed Masood will ask unlikely prospective-surrogate Glenda Mitchell to help them become fathers by having their baby.

If rumours are true, it will be the first-ever "gay dad" storyline to feature in a British soap.

An unnamed EastEnders source said, "Christian and Syed having a baby together will be the biggest storyline on the soap this year, and one of the most controversial in the programme’s history.

"Producers think it will be a ratings hit and prove a massive talking point among viewers."

It's official: Glenda will not be the surrogate. Via Digital Spy:

Contrary to some reports at the weekend, I've been told that there are no plans for Glenda to become a surrogate mother for Christian and Syed.

While it's no secret by now that the fan favourites will be discussing the possibility of starting a family together and the option of surrogacy in their new storyline, speculation that Glenda will be a major player in the plot is untrue.
