Must... not... get drawn... into this again! Oy. I haven't thought about this ENIGMA for over a month and now restenergy has to go and draw another diagram... and we all know that once you start thinking about the TARDIS, you feel absolutely compelled to figure it out. Even if it kills you. Which I think it just might. ;D

Just one more little detail: according to the video linked by Lola here, it seems there's another door behind the one leading from the kitchen to the bathroom. And this will be my one and only contribution to this thread. Ever!

Hehe. Good luck with that, hari. ;D Don't worry folks, I have nothing to contribute to your discussion... I only wanted aussie54's hilarious emoticon to appear once more on this thread. ;D

I was wondering if maybe a sort of "Lichtschacht" was a possibility (don't know the English word). I think it's a very real possibility. I'd even say it's quite likely. The building looks like it's supposed to be of an age were that would be a common sort of practice. I'm not sure about mid-century or more contemporary buildings, but if the building was built earlier, it would be unlikely that any rooms meant for regular human activity would not have a window. WARNING: LONG POST AHEADI had been away from the forums for personal reasons, so I missed the start of this thread -quite a shame considering I pested Gaytime with a similar thread idea on the early days of the forum. Anyways, the inner breathing patio idea is, most likely, right on the money. I´m an Architect and I can tell you this: The Europeans cultures, especially the ones in the Mediterranean Sea, started messing with the idea of contiguous living "urban buildings" without any separation in between -we are talking early Roman age early. On that type of building you need inner patios to ventilate the spaces. Over time the idea of non-separated living spaces got a bad rap based on sanitary reasons. Fast forward to early 20th century, WW I just ended, Europe is physically devastated (specially Germany) and you have a whole lot of homeless people that need living space and they need it ASAP. At the same time a bunch of young architects decide they are fed-up with Roman-Greek-Renascence architecture and is time for a change of paradigm, plus, there is this human mass that needs shelter.... the result: The "Minimal Existence / Minimal Space" philosophy. Say hello to what later would be known as " Modern Architecture". In a nutshell: Let's take what worked on the past, let's build it with "new" materials, a new aesthetic, and let's make it economical by reducing the spaces to the minimum livable standard... and among the things that REALLY WORKED on the past were the non-separated living spaces with inner patios for ventilation. Since the main goal now is been practical, and because of the pressing humanitarians conditions, leisure and relax on the living space had to take the back seat... that is how on the early "modern" living buildings the inner patio saw itself transformed into a simple ventilation shaft... My best educated guess is that No Limits and the boys apartment are located on a building from that epoch, that has been renovated on the inside (part because of the changing nature of architecture and part because the magic of television production needs) so that the spaces are no longer minimal but the building itself still keeps it's post-war essence.

I'm confused too. They go through the door near the kitchen at it takes them to the bathroom. The door from the livingroom takes them to Chris' and Olli's and the girls room. ???
Then the door from the living room takes them into the bathroom? :P
This is the most crazy flat share I have ever seen :-*

I'm just confused about the bathroom. I think there are two ways into the bathroom.

From the clips I've seen, they have to go through the living room and kitchen to get to the bathroom. Very strange indeed. You would think they could get to the bathroom from that passage that leads to the bedrooms, but they do a lot of walking through the living room bare-chested, draped in towels. Not that I'm complaining.

I was looking at old videos of Gregors room. It looks like he lived and Olli lived, by the roof top. It's too small for someone whoes 6'. Gregor had too crouch down.

Guys, I'm watching part 38 again. What I have noticed that Christian walked out of the door that goes to the living room. He must have been in the bathroom. Because when he went through the door in the kitchen, it took him to his room.
I'm still confused. Because the room from the living room, takes them into Christian's room also.

It's official. I was just watching part 45, when they made love in Christian's room. It shows the boys coming out of the living room door.
There are two ways into Chrisitian's room. The one through the kitchen door and through the living room doo.

Okay I have a question, where the refridgeorater is, the room to the right of it leads to....? The other door near their table, next to the windows, in their apartment, leads to which rooms?

What about Chrissie's room? Can anyone who has a better eye than I do point out the changes that have been made since Olli moved in there? Are the Polaroid pictures still on the wall behind Christian's bed? The only thing I noticed was that "OLLI" was written on the chalkboard(!) in Christian's room. Which begs the question: what the heck is a chalkboard doing in there?

I really hate to open up this can of worms, but I was laughing so much reading it. (I just found this thread tonight, honest!) It was like watching a losing game of Tetris. ;D I noticed no one replied to Fri13fan's conjecture about a 2 floor-flat. That's the only way I can get it to work in my tiny brain. And gold stars for all of the homemade artwork.

I think it's kind of amusing how you can see the little nuts and bolts of the show sometimes. Obviously when the new team game they got a ton of money to redecorate. As a result Olli is redecorating the NL, Sebastian spontaneously decides he needs to redecorate his room to make Lydia feel more comfortable and Stella convinces Charlie to make some changes to Schneiders.
Other effects of the big set reworking: - Luise has a bedroom set - The hospital set has been replaced by the Gregor's hangar set (as a result the recent hospital scenes in the Sebastian's abduction story were shot on location which looks much neater anyway)
I'm generally curious how many of the bedroom sets like the Ollian bedroom are permanent since they are often not that frequently used (like there is a Katja/Matthias bedroom in the Brandner house which has been on a handful of times, Fabian had a bedroom I think we have seen only once when he had sex with Judith in it and then broke up with her; Lars and Susanne had sex in the invisible Judith/Lydia room and that was obviously a location shoot of some sort; I don't know if Gregor's two person flat has ever had a bedroom; wait, now that I think of it, there was the room where Gregor and Sarah had their honeymoon in, but I don't think that it has ever been soon other than that).
Ansgar's room has been shown a bunch of times when he was still with Nathalie and the last time when he and Tanja had sex, but it hasn't been used since then. SaLeo's room is shown pretty consistently, but Carla doesn't seem to have a room ever since Susanne left.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say, when was the last time we saw the different Ollian rooms?
The main flatshare room has been seen recently (like when they were discussing Sebastian's abduction).
But I think both the bathroom and the bedroom set were last scene in the pre-Ibiza scenes. Am I right? Or has the bathroom been spotted in any other scenes?

I think they showed the bathroom after Ibiza when Judith had a date with Constantin.
I don't know if the scenes with Gregor/Sarah were in the two room apartment but there was a scene where Sarah told Gregor she kissed Leonard and one when sie seduced him but that was in the Ollian flatshare.

I totally forgot that Constantin left after Olli But all friendshipppy scenes since then like between Judith and Lydia were in the living room or at NL, right? Yes, we have seen Gregor's bedroom in the Ollian appartment for when he had sex with Max ( another one) and for when he and Sarah had sex for the first time. But I think their wedding night where Jana and Leo spread the rosepetals on Gregor and Sarah's bed was the 2 room flatshare. But all of the Grebecca sex sessions were in the living room of 2 room flatshare. Same for most of the Gregor/Sarah sex that took place there ( 1 and 2 and 3 ) But then they did spring for a bed set right before the wedding. ( before the wedding part 2 and then the wedding night (is it just me or does Leo have some very detailed ideas about Gregor's physique while he imagines Gregor and Sarah having sex? Part 2) I think it's pretty obvious though that that must be some sort of location shoot because the scenes are overly bright (was the same for Lars/Susanne sex or when Kitty seduced Lars in her apartment).
