ok now i am a little confused... tonight is supposed to be the final episode... but when i went onto the website where they have all the episodes listed, it has now been updated and says that there are 120 episodes. so apparently tonight is not the final episode even though it said final week...

They [Telemundo] are playing games. The show still sucks only the ratings are better than they likely would have been had they actually wrapped this 20 shows ago because everyone wants to see the ending to the storylines.

I still find it inconceivable that they could finish the show with Diego and Nora ending up together under these circumstances. They get married to end Diego's torture for homosexuality and live happily ever after??? And yet it also seems like the show would do anything to avoid gay romance. It's the strangest experience watching a show try to tell a gay story without showing anything gay. The level of homophobia on display is astonishing. All these bizarre plot machinations just to avoid scenes of intimacy between two men. The scene in Wednesday's episode where Diego kissed Nora passionately after begging her to marry him was especially appalling. Here's a guy whose dramatic arc and whose current crisis is centered upon his intense feelings for another man, yet even as this arc and crisis approaches its climax we're fed scenes of him being passionate with a woman. The contortion of plot and character necessary to tell a gay romance comprised exclusively of heterosexual contact is unprecedented. Check out this exchange between Ale and Diego from Thursday's episode: Ale: So you feel something for me? And that's why you're marrying Nora? Diego: [Shakes his head yes] Yeah, that happens all the time. The show has actually contrived a way in which expressing love for another man requires intimacy with a woman. They should patent this because it's perfect for shows with homophobic audiences that want to have a gay story line for some reason. That's the big question, of course. Why even try telling a gay story if you don't really want to tell it? I have to admit that I'm perversely fascinated by how this show is wrapping up. It's like watching a car wreck in slow motion. It's tragic, but you just can't peel your eyes away.

Wow, brother, I thought I was the only one fixated on this shitty show I'm hooked for the same reason you mention: I'm fascinated to know how bad it's gonna end this obnoxious gay (?) storyline

I still think that the show sold out to the political scene in the US with that anal moron trying to get into the white house in November. They will do or say anything hoping to gain brownie point with them if elected.
They should use this show as a Training Video of "How not to Present a Show" and is a perfect fuck up.

Diego and Nora have been married for awhile. Diego is now a resident and Nora got her citizenship. But the show makes it obvious they don't have a 'real' marriage. They haven't seen their HS school friends in years. Alejandro called Diego to tell him he's moving to Spain for good and I guess there's a goodbye party something b/c Sabastain is coming to the party as well. He's flying in from DC. Nora doesn't want to go, but finding out Sabas will be there seems to change her mind or rather Diego asks her if it does. Why Alejandro would be calling people he hasn't spoken to or seen in years because he's moving makes no sense, but that's the show for you.
Anyway, there is one more episode on Monday.

RP is the laughing stock of the latino community. No self respecting gay should watch this pile of poh-poh. Yet here I am hopping for the best! lol The true is that one small kiss would do. Alejandro can get run over by a UPS truck for all I care. But I need to see one small gay kiss before this show ends!!!!! Damn it!

My guess is Sebas and Nora rekindle their love. Diego may decide to go to Spain with Ale. Will there finally be a scene where he tells his father to shove it? I wonder...

RP is the laughing stock of the latino community. No self respecting gay should watch this pile of poh-poh. LOL! Oh man, I admit I haven’t watched more than 4-5 clips of this show and have no desire of seeing more, but the last comments and recaps on this thread have just given me the best laugh. The fact that so little makes sense is far from unexpected to me, and yet it still tickles me to no end. I have such a hard time even being offended by anything this show is throwing out because it’s been so tough taking it seriously. I can’t even understand why one would want this “pairing” to end up together beyond just both of them being gay and I guess wanting something somewhat "positive" to come out of it. But since it would be one of the most nonsensical things yet again on this show, then maybe that’s what will happen in the end. What a happy ending that would be; maybe they’ll even hug it out! This show has managed to make itself about unforgettable to me. Who would’ve thought? And to think it started as a remake of a successful show… Edited. Typing when almost choking on laughter is really impractical.

This show is very worst of what I could imagine before it started! (I'm not watching it, but I read this threat to see how I was right when I thought it's only censure).
What kind of sense has now to end the show moving Ale and Diego together to Spain? (if it happens!).

What a waste of what could have been a good show after all the previews they showed. The only positive outcome for RP is that it is soon to be RIP! That is unless someone moves the thread to 'Gone But Not Forgotten'...........

What kind of sense has now to end the show moving Ale and Diego together to Spain? (if it happens!). Because people need to see a happy ending, even with it being slapped together with no storyline progression. That Ale would be out there just waiting for Diego to get his shit together is exactly how pathetic that character has been written since he fell in love with him.

That is unless someone moves the thread to 'Gone But Not Forgotten'........... The fact this soap was a big failure is -to me- a slight consolation Really, thank God almost nobody watched this storyline; hopefully, very few have gotten its horrendous, totally wrong message ("It doesn't get better at all; if you're gay, you'd better shoot yourself" ) Telemundo got away with this shit because the soap's target was the Latino community living in the USA, in which the LGTB groups are not that powerful or well organized. I'm pretty sure other American soaps could not have done such a controversial story without getting a huge backlash
