Are Will and Nick related? It sure didn't seem like it.

There is a new Blake Berris interview where he states Nick has a strong reaction when he learns Will is gay. Make of that what you want. There was no indication of when this happens. Reaction or erection? I'm sure that pretty-faced Nick had plenty of butt sex while incarcerated.

Well I finally saw the kiss and .......I LOVED IT!!!
While I remain critical of the last minute of build up to it, the kiss was nothing short of perfect given the circumstances. Freddie and Chandler's chemistry in that one scene alone pulverized anything else with them before it. We all knew that the guys had it in them and I'm finally glad that TPTB shook the shackles off of WilSon finally.
I do agree with a few folks the said Chandler doesn't know how to kiss. Like someone said previously, it's his first kiss with a guy that he loves (at least as a friend so far); there's going to be some fear there and Chandler appropriately displayed that.
What I did like about today's scenes is how Will made it sound like it be easy to move pass Sonny when talking to Marlena. I'm starting dislike their scenes now because they are always the same. Will acts like he never wants to discuss his romantic situation and then after Marlena pushes him enough, he finally throw out just a morsel.
Again, we got super short scenes for WilSon. It was blatantly obvious considering there were 3 Will/Marlena scenes today to compare it to. Sonny did get a little more airtime than normal for him because he was hanging out in the background of the Adrienne/Maggie conversation.
I guess I can tamper down some of my criticism of Days since seems they are committed to letting WilSon kiss like any other soap couple. Also, the rumors of an upcoming sex scene is promising. I personally would like to see some more dates before the guys hit the sheets.
Make not mistake though, I still see my 'new' position as a concession and I will not be completely satisfied (who is ever anyway?) until DOOL stops trying to hide Sonny and WilSon. I'd love to see an episode or an entire week where Sonny and Will dominates the dialogue and airtime.

But it seems to be like somebody else posted (I think Seany?) that Tomlin insisted he wanted Will and Sonny together in a romance story and the only way he was allowed to do it was if their airtime is limited. Like Seany said, pure speculation but it seems to fit what we are seeing . Thanks for the credit, WillNSonny. I actually hope I am wrong but I cannot think of any other conclusion to draw. The evidence just doesn't point to anything else IMO. After reading the past 2 pages of posts, all I can think is "Come on folks. It's time to stop sipping the DOOL koolaid and look at the facts!". How can anyone who watched any soap in the past five years not see that Sonny, Will, Freddie and Chandler are clearly being discriminated against? I'm here reading that "I love the fact that WilSon's being taken slow" and thinking to myself what we have here is so far beyond "taking it slow". If that's your opinion, you're certainly welcome to it but answer me this, can you name a single relationship in the past 5 years of soaps that moved in the started in the same way as WilSon? Heck, none of the heterosexual romances in the past year on DOOL have evolved even similar to WilSon yet they all share a similarity to each other sexuality aside. Ever ask yourself why is that? Also, WilSon far so has been completely devoid of any sexual tension. This wouldn't be too much of issue if Will and Sonny weren't hot young 20y.o. males on a soap. Right now, WilSon has all the "heat" of an after-school special. Now let's contrast this with ATWT's Nuke. There was sexual tension between Luke and Noah the very first day they met. In fact initially thought that there was something wrong with himself since he couldn't understand how he could getting those type of signals from a straight guy. I haven't seen tomorrow's kiss, but I have read several reactions around the internet and I wasn't surprised to hear that some folks find the kiss to be too timid and lacking in emotion. That's why couple of people even said that they wish it will Sonny and T making out instead. At first I didn't really think anything of those comments but then it dawned on me Sonny/Will = tweet, tweet, Sonny/Tad = a 12 alarm blaze! When I picture back to the first Nuke with the tie, I instantly remember the ticking time bomb of pure sexual energy that was building between the characters and how it finally realized itself in the most unexpected way. The aftermath of the the kiss uped the ante even more. Contrast that with WilSon and I feel like we've been all slipped Xanax the entire past year. The way I see it, NBC is walking a tightrope and neither side is really happy with the end result. I can said one thing though, I wish I could get back all the time that I put into watching the 95% of non-WilSon related crap because WilSon has turned out so far to not have been worth it. NBC needs to know that we do not want to be simply appeased. We want equal representation! I'd rather see no gay storyline on Days than to have my intelligence insulted in the way that has been this past year watching the show.

I really think that some NBC honcho is responsible for the marginalization of Sonny. I also believed that MarDar wanted to write the WilSon romance but the network said no. Remember the "They wouldn't let us tell our stories"? That had to mean something.
I think one of the conditions that Tomlin asked for upon returning was to be able to write for Sonny and pair WilSon. The network obliged but only under the condition that all WilSon scenes be kept short and buried within the show.
This is all theory and I could be totally wrong, but there is definitely a conspiracy against Sonny behind the scenes of this show and it needs to be exposed.

I liked the Adrienne/Kate/Sami showdown, but it was Chad that grabbed and held my attention today. Normal CJD usually looks bored in his scenes, but as of late he has really kicked up the acting a notch. Casey's obviously enjoying his turn at being psycho. What's with this show and teens gone crazy? First Abby, then Gabi and now Chad all in one year! Don't forget that Nick went nuts 4 years old as well.
Anyhow, did anyone else besides me go brittle when Chad got up in Caroline's face. The way Casey towers over her was very imtimidating by itself not to mention that he was being highly disrespectful to his best friend's great grandmother. All in all, I'm loving Chad's embracing of his DiMera roots finally.
Poor Sonny once again got shafted in the air time (except maybe when he's in scenes with Will), but I do not like it one bit. Freddie said that Sonny will be in scenes with different castmate in the near future so who knows?
I miss "powerful" Will already. I don't miss Will/EJ though -pointless. Yes, he still had some vulnerabilities but in the end MardDar's Will was a lot more confident (and interesting to watch) than Tomlin's "sad-sack" Will.
One final thing... I'm glad Days agrees with me that Jennifer is a "basement-dweller".

This is really disconcerting because the only reason I watch Days is to see Freddie Smith's cute face on my television screen! ;D Me too. I agree Freddie deserves more screentime and the gay storyline isn't getting the attention it deserves. I have to ask the question, are Will and Sonny going to have a real romantic kiss before the end of September? I just wonder like other posters have suggested the reticence to show a loving gay male relationship is a form of double standards. The gay storyline is the one storyline I think Days can use to attract a younger audience and a wider audience. But if Sonny and Will are not given the time to develop their romance then it would just for nothing then. I think the show will dot all the "i"s and cross all the "t"s i.e. we will see Will kiss frequently and they will get a love scene but that's about it. The focus will never be on WilSon as a couple. It will always be on someone/thing external to the couple.

The problem is that Will looks really really bad in that picture, it's like he has some problem on his chin It's obviously over-exposed.

So Sonny and Justin had just two brief scenes today while Rafe/EJ/Bo/Hope were all over the show. This just highlights what I said on the spoiler thread about Days not being invested in Sonny or WilSon. They simply exist to fill a quota or to just to pick a few eyeballs and bump the rating a little.
It's a shame that DOOL doesn't even try to match or exceed what ATWT did 5 years ago. Sure, WilSon are super cute, but right now there is zero "heat" between the characters. Constrast that with the all the build up to Nuke's first kiss; now that was some smoking hot sexual chemistry! It was so much that CBS actively sought to neturalize it. NBC on the other hand has been neutering WilSon from the very minute Sonny that arrived in Salem.
I do not believe that we will ever see a homosexual relationship portrayed equally to a hetero one unless the show is either exclusively gay (QAF) or at the gay characters are the leads (The New Normal).

Adrienne returned to Salem with the boys but they were not seen onscreen five or six years ago, then they left with Justin for Dubai for a year before they came back and then Sonny came back onscreen about a year after that. Thanks for the history lesson! As much as I like character of Brian and the possibly of Brian and Sonny over WilSon, it's been obvious from the start that the show was not going to invest in that pairing. Like the previous poster stated, DOOL has never been invested in Sonny. Eventhough, FS is on a standard contract, he's been mostly treated like reoccurring. Even the recent scenes with Sonny/Brian/Will in them are short in comparison to the last Will/Abby and Will/EJ scenes. I'm convinced that show is actively trying to hide WilSon in plain sight. MarDar solved the gay romance problem by keeping WilSon friends only and making Sonny just a frequent "talk to" for Will. Tomlin on the other hand is going with the romance but all WilSon scenes will be short and buried within the show. Will will continue to get regular-sized scenes with everyone but Sonny. All Sonny scenes will be truncated regardless of whoever else is involved.

One of the reasons she and Justin split up the last time was that she was feeling the empty nest syndrome due to Sonny's growing up. Wait. Sonny was seen on air before FS assumed the role?

Thanks Days for the alternate reality where gay men behave like Victorian women having tea. LOL. That's so funny! I'm loving all the comedy this week from the show this week (T's "gay horse" and "sequins" snaps). I also like that T is slowly transforming from WilSon's basher to WilSon's f-ghag. Even though, I would have loved to see a hot fiery makeout session between Sonny and T, I think it's best that T stays straight. Although, this could make him expendable when Nick comes into WilSon's orbit. I'm not too disappointed that there no kiss tomorrow. I didn't kiss my husband until our second date. Tomorrow is all about making us wait and nothing more IMHO. If the 2 gays on The New Normal got to cuddle and kiss while in bed (both fully clothed though) in their premiere episode on NBC, then Days being on the same network should be allowed to the same. Chandler was amazing today especially in the scene before Chad (hottest cock-blocker ever!) showed up. That scene alone could get him another Emmy nomination. Freddie was super-hot today. I love the hair even though Freddie probably does not. ;D

Hi Everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself as a new poster here. My previous "home" was soap board that you all probably know pretty well. Unfortunately, the moderators on the Days forum there seem to care only about what the networks, show- runners and actors think and they could care less about the very people who allow them to make money from advertisers - us the posters. So after having numerous posts mysteriously deleted without any explanation except "See the rules" (rules that I had read through several times already), I have had enough - time to find a new home. I see some of my WilSon fan buddies from the other site are already here. A chose TGODT because, I've been lurking on this board for a couple of months and I feel moderation here is focused on the enjoyment of all visitors to the site.
