Ohh me encanta! I can't believe the channel cut this part out. They were behind and so I guess they figured the episode was over and tried to go back live I'm so not going back to watching there Well, I'm gonna go back and correct my recap. Sorry, guys, technical difficulties. I'm terribly embarrased

Thanks so much for the recap, Chrys. I love reading them. On one of your random thoughts, try to feel less pain by knowing that although we live in a homophobic world, it doesn't stop anything or mar the beauty of what we love. I wondered about the money since Manuel was always telling Tato that he had yet to receive money promised. Thanks again Chrys. Thank you so much for taking the time to read them and then to post you like them. Makes me very happy Thanks for your words about the homophobic comments. It's happening a lot around me lately, not always in situations where I can respond, so it's been bringing me down Yeah, the money thing. The club owed money to several players and wasn't going to pay. Tato offered to buy the debt and pay them around 70% out of his pockets, but got the club to pay the entire thing and kept the rest of the money. Only Anguila knows about it. masonvilleWhen I said "they say it's Nino's" I meant they did some sort of test - dental or fingerprints or whatever - and it said it was his, but I couldn't catch this part very well. Still not certain though, and I can't say more here.

Hey guys. This is gonna be another weird recap, but this whole Nino thing has me so confused it's hard to watch properly. I keep trying to figure out if he's indeed alive or dead, so I'm not watching the show the same way I used to A few random comments before our lessons... I usually watch this show on streaming and there are usually many homophobic comments on the chat box to the side, but tonight it was more than usual. Just needed to share my pain with you guys Marga and Lily were looking at some pictures from a joint vacation to Ibiza years ago, and Chiqui joins them and they start laughing about them, and Chiqui points out Flaco was wearing tight speedos lol I wish they had shown us that Now, our lessons: 48. Tato is trying to go back to threatening people into submission himself, now that Nino is not around. Personally, I think he should stick to bribing, cause Nino never warned someone he would kill them - he just went and killed the person So Anguila found out Tato got all the money the club owed the players but only gave them a part of it and Tato told him: "if you tell someone, you're a dead man." Very subtle. 49. Show plays yo-yo with my hopes of shared hotel room. So Lalo is allowed to play again and he's happy as a puppy Flaco sees him and they hug a lot and it's sweet. Then Flaco says "good, I'll see you tonight then" since the players are gonna stay in a hotel to focus on the match (it's called a concentración, no idea how to say that in English). But then he goes on to explain that they're not gonna share a room this time, that they're gonna do it differently and be careful No fun, Flaco. Except you were lying a little 50. Chiqui truly thinks you can't get over killing someone, even if that person was threatening you. That's such a nice contrast to Marga and I truly appreciate the fact you're still tormented on a show in which nobody cares much. 51. Anguila is all excited over his commentator work and keeps filming himself to get better on camera lol. He also films everything around. He's the only one who always brings in funny bits. 52. Longing looks of love and music seem to be a constant for the boys these days. I really doubt anyone in that club could have missed those looks, so let's say everyone knows and is covering them already? 53. To those of you keeping tally, another death was confirmed last night. Gerardo Vacari, long missing rival manager, was killed by someone on Tato's orders and his body was now found. Also found was a picture of Laura with her ex-husband that links Nino to his murder, but that was something us viewers knew and the police, like always, didn't. Modified: 54. A body was found, in very bad shape and unrecognizable. They did a fingerprint check and the doctor confirms it's Nino's body. Except... it's not! Nino lives! He's better than Jason ;D Later on, we see him (looking great and evil) spying/stalking Marga in a parking lot. I can't tell you how happy I am And angry the channel made me miss the moment I was waiting for Anyway, Tato is seen worried about Nino's body being found out and goes tell Chiqui. Now bets are on: does Tato know? I think so. How did they do it? And about the body, did they pay that doctor off or just replaced Nino's fingertips in the police's file? 55. Now the part that really mattered. Fixing my earlier crushed hopes, Flaco showed up on Lalo's door (that's my boy, Flaco! Just awesome this week). They didn't share a room, but their roommates left so they were alone anyway. Lalo protested but Flaco reasoned with him that the others were sleeping. Lalo protested again that he would feel bad afterwards and Flaco went the romantic route and said most people never find love and they did and shouldn't throw it away. Lalo says that yeah, they found each other, but then says his career is his only priority (and just now you're losing hope, right?) but that they could just enjoy the moment and then they kiss So here's the lesson from this very well done scene: two clear positions and one middle ground. Flaco wants Lalo and that's his sole aim now. He doesn't know if he should come out or not, or what to do with his life, so he's focusing on getting Lalo back and using all sorts of means to reach him. I could make a long post just listing all the different strategies he's used this past week Well, all put together, they're working. Lalo is less paranoid and clearly shaken on his earlier decision to stay away from him. Yet his position is still clear: his career comes first and he won't endanger it, not for love or anything. But he wants Flaco and he's not denying it. So they find a middle ground: as long as Lalo feels safe, like in the hotel room, they can be together. If they are able to see each other secretly, he seems to be willing to give it another go, now that he's not that paranoid about being found out as he was before Flaco talked him out if it. It seems that now he sees a secret affair as a possibility again. What do you guys think? Tonight's question: Marga keeps getting those calls where no one answers after you pick up. Who is calling her? Tonight's wish: See question above. Can it be Nino please? Modified: Who else thinks Nino is looking great? Can't wait for Tuesday for doubled reasons. Later addition: Lately Lalo has been saying a lot that he doesn't want to lose his career and he doesn't want to lose Flaco either. Yesterday Flaco commented he didn't want to lose anything and Lalo pointed out that was exactly what Flaco had done earlier. So the show may be hinting that it's gonna backfire on Lalo the way it did on Flaco? The situations are different though. While Flaco wanted to keep his career, his wife and family, and Lalo; Lalo wants to keep his career and Flaco, which is something that doesn't really involve lying to someone the way Flaco did to Lily and it's something that's undoubtedly done by players in the closet around the world.

bdc you're welcome I know, right? This week he's been so awesome... If they keep this up, I really don't mind waiting for them to go back together, sex scene included. I'll enjoy seeing this wonderful Flaco driving Lalo insane little by little And Lalo's main problem is exactly how much he enjoys it, isn't it? The sexual tension was so well done. Congrats to the actors - top game here.

This was a really boring episode in my opinion but wait, don't go away, because when it comes to our boys, it was really good Not much actually happened to them, they didn't say much to each other, but still, there was a scene that was absolutely awesome and you guys have to watch it. No knowledge of Spanish is needed to fully enjoy it So let's get this started: 42. That photographer continues to be obsessed with Flaco. The "thing" Flaco invited Lalo to on yesterday's episode was actually going to the movies. Sorry I didn't catch that yesterday. So they go to the movies with some other players and girls, and Lalo is there with Josephina (I bet you didn't see that one coming, did you? ;D) So a photographer, who I'm pretty sure it's the same one who caught the Flaco/Chiqui picture and had been following Flaco, showed up and bothered them for a while. Are they gonna keep on doing this stalking thing with this guy? Cause it makes no sense, actually. And where is super-manager Tato to effectively shut him up? See where Nino is missed? 43. Show is absolutely full of win!! They shows us the boys inside the movies, having fun. Lalo is sitting between Flaco and Josephina and he kisses her and Flaco looks jealous for a moment. But do you think Flaco would get sad and sulk? Or make an angry scene? No no no, not this week's Flaco. This one is so over those things. Instead, he goes play the hand game (not 1.0, but 2.0) with Lalo (1.0 is holding hands, 2.0 is hand on leg by the way) Lalo got all nervous and pushed his hand away, but Flaco never wavered. He gets his hand firm on Lalo's thigh and looks all confident, flirtatious and amused while Lalo squirms in his seat. Poor Lalito, he's so in over his head 44. Confident Flaco is awesome. After weeks of crying, I missed him like this so much. He's applying all his moves and Lalo is so gonna cave soon. If Lalo truly thinks they can do this almost just friends thing, he's gonna be proved wrong pretty soon. Flaco is slowly but effectively both charming him again and driving him crazy. The guy knows what he's doing, Lalo, you can't win this Not that you really want to, anyway 45. Mía/Laura's mad ninja skills were always composed by pure luck, craziness (remember her plans) and raw ninjaness, but more and more it's just luck. She found a bullet hole in a wall at Tato's house by pure luck and then also by chance overheard Tato saying to Chiqui that Nino is dead. C'mon, you can do better than that. 46. Poker face is a very rare feature on this show. Chiqui doesn't have it either. The players were talking about Nino in the locker room and Chiqui looked as guilty as they come 47. Lily killed Mirtha! Finally a reason for her to even be on screen. She was talking to Marga about Sofía's suspicions and Marga was saying how ridiculous was the idea that Lily had killed Mirtha. We were supposed to realize she actually did it because of her expression and the music, but since the actress fails to express anything with her face, it was mostly the creepy music that clued us in to her guiltiness. Today's questions: So, did you think it was Lily? What do you think of it? And how much did you love the movies scene?

Nice gifs ;D I also want to thanks chrys for the wonderful recaps, it's the first thing I read in the morning just before leaving for work. Btw during the dinner date they were absolutely flirtacious and sexy ;D Oh thank you so much for posting that It's so good just to know people are reading my long posts, and even more that they're enjoying them. masonvilleGreat post. You're right. Anguila is funny and lovable - the actor does a great job. Too bad they seem to be heading to pairing him with boring Mercedes His character is one of those who kept being funny while the show turned more dramatic. Early on, Chiqui was very funny as well, and I think the actor did a better job that way than now as a dramatic part. I should include a lesson on Tato's hard work at some point. But I'm sure I'll have plenty of opportunities to address that bdcThanks for pointing out the guy's name is Román and for the pics He looks better with hair in my opinion. What do you think?

Here we go... I was a bit distracted during tonight's episode but let's see what I can gather from it. 33. Flaco and Lalo were still in the restaurant, having fun and being so cute together. Thank you show, I love you They were talking about the World Cup and football, about Lalo's prospects and dreams. He looked all excited and sweet and Flaco got that adoring look on his eyes and this time Lalo didn't ask him to stop. Then Lalo said his mom would be so proud of him if he went to the next Cup and Flaco told him he would be proud of him as well and they both looked very much in love then So, sweet and funny Lalo is indeed back, as confirmed by the rest of the episode as well. Will paranoid, scheming, ambitious, angry, me-against-the-world Lalo visit us again? Probably, since it's part of his personality, but I'm glad the other side of him is back. 34. Tato has a lot of nerve! When Chiqui asked him why Nino had killed Solange and Cappa (right answer: to protect Tato and Nino's business), Tato told him Nino was a psychopath lol 35. Someone in this sea of criminals has a conscience. Chiqui is all full of regret over killing Nino, despite knowing he would have killed Marga and maybe the rest of them. So, yes, someone on the show actually thinks killing someone is something so major that you can't live with. Go Chiqui. Also, he's so heartbroken about killing Nino, maybe he misses him like we do? 36. Riganti is indeed cool, telling her subordinates just how bad they are at their job. They searched Tato's house and didn't find Nino. Fat policeman about their search: "We haven't missed anything." Riganti: "Really? You haven't missed anything? Anything at all? Only the suspect?!" 37. There's hope? Tato and the bald guy carried off Nino's body. Then Tato cleaned the hallway and he found a bullet near the table, saying something like "There you are. I almost couldn't find you." Is that the bullet Nino shot at him? The one Chiqui shot? Probably the first option. Anyway, it seems obscure what they have done to Nino and many people are saying it was all a set-up by the three men. I don't know. The bald guy talked to Mía like he was indeed dead, in my opinion. 38. Anguila's mystery is solved. He was asked to be a World Cup commentator on TV. He also seems to be the worst commentator ever ;D He can't even look at the right camera. That led to many fun scenes of everyone (including our boys) joking about it. 39. Police job on the show can always get worse. There's this new undercover guy at the club. I don't know his name but no one has ever looked more suspicious while undercover than him 40. Flaco relaxed, funny, confident self is indeed back. He's also pretty much on the prowl for Lalo. Last night, he used his charms to get him to agree to a dinner date, then to actually enjoy it. Tonight he towered over Lalo after practice, super in his personal space, to get him to agree to come to something with him and the guys. Lalo first started saying maybe, if they go too, not just us and then goes and say "I don't want to lose you either." Prompting more relaxed fun between them. So yeah, things are looking so much better now then last week So Flaco, honey, all these techniques and moves you're applying on Lalo now are working just fine. Please keep doing that and not what you were doing before 41. Salgado is not only boring, but stupid. He approaches Mía/Laura just outside Tato's house and kisses her Yeah, cause she's not undercover or anything, right? So of course Tato saw them. Tonight's question: what the hell happened to Nino? Tonight's wish: please let that hinted sexual tension between Mía and the bald guy be more than a hint. I can't stand Salgado and Chiqui seems far from going back to Mía at this point.

@keviniantojack Yes I'm heartbroken The boys must head to bed right now and fix me No no, you didn't understand me. Nino did find out about the arrest - I just don't understand when. They were at the table, Chiqui got a call from his lawyer telling him about Nino's arrest but he didn't say anything. He and Marga tried to leave and Nino said he was going to be arrested, made Marga hostage, but then decided to kill her instead of walking out of the house with her, and that's when Chiqui shot her. So when did Nino know about it?

masonville Everything about Tato and Sofía together skeeved me out ¬¬ You're right, Nino's shooting and death wasn't realistic at all, but I'm not sure if that's a clue or just lame writing. TV is known for getting that wrong all the time Lol Cristal's squad is so tough. They should come to their matches with weapons - they'd win by default So, let's assume the other players we don't know about are minions of crime as well. Then it's Anguila and Flaco who haven't committed any crimes... so far ;D Oh wait, Anguila actually took part in the cover-up of Vanina's death. Lol they make Flaco look so pure. bdc Yes, it suits him just fine. Is wardrobe making up to us? @keviniantojack Yeah, I thought about that, but I can't keep my wishful thinking since it led me to last night's heartbreak It's a possibility though. When did Nino find out he was being arrested anyway? Did I miss that part? He was at the table with the others, Chiqui got the call from his lawyer and then all of a sudden Nino already knows he's gonna be arrested?

Yeah, I can't believe it either. What I wonder about the most is the fact Nino knew that Marga killed Giselle. Now the only person who knows is Marga's mother, so how will the others find out?

azuma I don't mind, but I'm not the best person to ask for a word by word translation since my Spanish isn't that good. Sometimes I miss parts of what they say. Flaco asks Lalo if he can talk. Lalo says yes, he's alone. Flaco says he wants to know how Lalo is. Lalo says he's good, normal, whatever, and talks about the picture scandal, asks what happened. Flaco tells him it's solved because of the press conference. Lalo says he must have felt like it was all going to hell because of something stupid and Flaco agrees but says he's not sure it was something stupid. Lalo tells him that Flaco and Chiqui are football legends, it's unbelievable that they would be having sex. Flaco, amused, asks: Can you imagine it? Lalo: No, I can't. He also can't imagine the day after, saying there are things you can't go back from. Flaco tells him that all the time he's been wondering "what if I tell the truth? what if I had said in the press conference, ladies and gentlemen, el Flaco Riveiro is gay?" Lalo: Great, do it. It's the same as suicide. Do it, go ahead. You know one can't. Flaco: Yeah, maybe, what do I know... So, that's pretty much it. I hope it helps. Any corrections from better Spanish speakers are welcome

First thing, I'm really sad about Nino's death so this is gonna affect my post, sorry. I was hoping until the very end it wasn't him, but no such luck Nino is the only character besides the boys that I actually cared about, so it ruined the episode for me. On the other hand, those of you who don't watch anything else are gonna see this is a really good episode, sweet and promising. So moving on from my mourning to our lessons... 21. The police department is indeed a joke, and the writers know it. Mía surprised me and admitted what a fail they are as police officers. All these months of working and, on top of people dying like flies, the one time they get evidence it's because of pure luck Salgado, though, is in denial and thinks they "solved" the case because they're good. Yeah, whatever, boring one 22. Flaco is still thinking about coming out. He thinks about it in his bed and yay decides to call Lalo Yep, that was great. They talk about the picture scandal and Flaco tells him he wonders what would have happened if he had said he was gay in the press conference. Lalo goes all funny on us and says, yeah, sure, do it, it's the same as suicide, go ahead ;D 23. Funny and sweet Lalo isn't gone - he just needs the right kind of encouragement to come to surface. Welcome back. We missed you 24. Your hopes may come back to haunt you. Show? You know when there were spoilers about more erotic scenes I was thrilled, right? Well, not for one second I thought you meant Tato and Sofía in bed Thanks for nothing! [At least Sofía left early in the morning with a stupid letter saying goodbye. Please don't come back.] 25. Riganti is cool because she calls her lame police offices out on their lameness and overall ignorance of how to do their job 26. Continuing on our lesson on the greatness of Flaco's friends, first Chiqui jokes around with Flaco about the photo scandal - he says it's best if they greet from a distance now, and then they kiss on the cheek, as usual - and then he clears out as soon as he spots Lalo behind Flaco. Good job 27. On my last post I talked about Lalo's ever worsening paranoia about being found out. And tonight Flaco called him out on it yay ;D First, on the field. After Lalo says he got worried about him Flaco says he wants to talk and invites Lalo to dinner. Cute Lalito got this super scared expression on his face, like a deer caught in the headlights ;D It was just the first of many. Flaco explains to him that it's just dinner at a public place and that they're teammates: no one's gonna assume he's gay because they had dinner together. Thank you Flaco for showing him reason 28. Now there was this very crazy moment. Chiqui got a phone call from Argentina's coach apologizing for not being able to take him to the World Cup because of his legal troubles. Then Anguila comes by saying he was "convocado" (called up) so Anguila is going to the World Cup? But he was barely playing and he was pretty much shown to be in decadence, at the end of his career 29. There's hope and progress for the boys They're very sweet in the restaurant scene, and full of longing for each other. If they are to go back together, Lalo needed to calm down about his fear of being found out and Flaco was doing just that: calling him out on his paranoia and grounding him back in reality. He did so between amused and calm and seems to have reached Lalo 30. Lalo has a problem with the way Flaco looks at him. At the restaurant Lalo is really really nervous. I'm not sure what made him more nervous, Flaco or the idea that people around were watching them lol. He asked Flaco to stop with the looks twice, and they did seem to burn him on the spot Flaco went on to calm him down about how no one was looking at them etc. And then he says he has a good time with him, and Lalo admits to the same and they look longingly at each other, so we're moving forwards here 31. I don't really wanna comment on the final scene. They have this dance of the guns thing, Nino is awesome and owns Tato and then shit happened. At least he could have shot Marga when Chiqui shot him... I can't believe they killed such a great character Tonight's wish: Say it isn't so and that Nino will rise from the dead. Even in a zombie plot, I don't care. Please? Tonight's question: Am I the only one who's gonna miss Nino? Who's gonna comment on Flaco and Lalo's sex lives from now on? Sorry about my whining; I can't help it Oh how could I forget? 32. There's hope - part 2. Is the show really hearing our prayers? Flaco seems to be moving on from his crying like a kicked baby phase and back to his relaxed, funny, confident self. Welcome back

margie Yes, that was the one time she's been mentioned ever since she disappeared. Lalo said it must have been Candy the one that alerted the police to Vanina's death and cover-up. We know it wasn't but maybe they're still bringing her back?

I don't want it to be Marga cause then Chiqui is gonna be all sad for her instead of finding out all she has done.

I think Lalo hesitated in the beginning when Tato introduced him to Josephina. Tato forced Lalo to let Josephina be his fake girlfriend. Lalo realized that nobody would look out for him and the only thing that he had left was his career. And the only reason that Tato or Nino help him stay out of prison was because they still see him as a profitable commodity, and that might change if the truth comes out. I completely agree

Interesting post, masonville. I know people get frustrated about Flaco and Lalo these days, they want them to get together and out and proud no matter what. But 1) that's not good drama and 2) that's not realistic either. Both of them have very strong believable reasons to be acting like they are. It's easier for Flaco, who has been dealing with his sexuality for years, to want to carry out a relationship with Lalo - remember he's been having secret affairs in Europe, so that's something he knows and could do again. [Besides, it looks like it's a constant that every time he pushes Lalo away and he goes, Flaco changes his mind.] Lalo, on the other hand, is a lot more scared for his career because he just started - besides, he seems to think it's all he's got. He has no other aims, no friends, no family around - it's football or nothing for him. It'd be hard to argue that he should be anxious to risk that (and it is a big risk - there are no successful out male players not only in football but in most team sports) for a man who has pushed him away just a little time ago (at the time of the divorce mess. Remember Flaco even wanted to go back to Lily) and, moreover, for something he seems not to be comfortable with, his sexuality. Flaco seems to hope they could go on secretly, but Lalo is much more unsure. For one, he's never done that. Two, look how well it's worked so far? And three, he's being pressured and watched closely by his manager. Now your questions... To get further insight into Flaco and Lalo’s characters I need to have some questions answered 1) Where’s Candy and why hasn’t Lalo reached out to her? 2) I want to see a scene with Josephina (or Candy) and Lalo in the bedroom, or wherever they choose to initiate copulation. Is he able to derive pleasure from heterosexual intercourse – preferably alcohol free? 3) How long does Flaco stay celibate? Sure his libido has taken a licking but he’s still ticking. We’ve seen him on the prowl for casual homosexual encounters…has being with Lalo made him exclusively monogamous? If there’s no reconciliation in sight, how long will / should that last…by his own admission, craving sexual relations with men is not something that he has been able to control in the past. 4) Does Lalo consider sexual relations with other males or was Flaco his first and last? His homosexuality seems out of context…or rather is only seen with Flaco in the context. There needs to be an evolution / progression to make it believable. 5) Undoubtedly after the photo debacle, both Flaco and Lalo are afraid and are suppressing their feeling and urges to varying degrees and having variable success but what happens when they reach their limit? We’re creatures of habit, and when tested by trials and tribulations it’s a struggle to adapt and not resort to what we “usually do”. 1) She seems to have just disappeared after the hospital thing. There was talk that she was gonna come back but she never did. 2) Hmm, I'm not sure what that would solve... He may be bi and he may be gay (and the writers are almost surely writing him as gay because authors never write bisexuals) but either way he has a secret to hide. 3) Yeah, well, they seem firm in writing Flaco as desperate and crying, so... Also, I'm not sure if they are willing to show his sexuality outside a love story. They did that in the shower scene, but that was mostly a hint of what would come. 4) I think we have to keep in mind he's really young. I think it seems to be an unresolved thing in his mind - he might have known about it before Flaco but his preconceived notions and shame seem to have kept him from dealing with it even now. See how he looked really guilty and embarrassed in front of Tato. He looks nowadays like he doesn't have a real interest in women but still thinks he should and could be with one. 5) That's what we're dying to see

You're right. They're really not showing much hesitancy on Lalo's part. But he was almost always shown as career-driven, impulsive and stubborn so... I think they want to emphasize that. They are on the other hand showing how threatened and scared he feels around the people who know his "secret" so I disagree with you. They're showing a lot of vulnerability on his part, and the bravado he puts up to defend himself. So is he just hiding his feelings or is he really over it? Might be either, but the second option wouldn't give good soap drama, so there's hope
