When I wrote the note about Charlie blaming Christian, I noted that my youtube wasn't working, so I was basically reading screencaps and not seeing the acting together, so that was what I had gather from what I saw. After I went back and rewatched it, I still think she was hinting that if Christian did what he suggested he was doing, he would bring more people back to hurt Olli (and I do believe her underlying tone suggested that she felt it was his fault that Axel came the first time). But that is what I saw. Obviously, she didn't come out and say the words..that she blamed Christian for the attack, but I definitely think the underlying tone in her words meant she felt that way. Added to the fact that Olli apologized to Christian "for her" reinforced my idea that she blamed him. But Olli always protects Christian from any type of hurt. Even if it's a little one. He loves him so. Oh and Liz...I know what rose colored glasses are..I wear them 3/4's of the time..or so I am told. LOL

Christian's naivete does show through fairly often, and certainly did during this episode. He genuinely believed that the guys at the gym would be more about sport, and less about petty homophobia. His earnest desire to try and change things is very endearing though, even though it may be futile.
BTW: Wouldn't it be great to see SuperChristian in tight spandex?

BTW: Wouldn't it be great to see SuperChristian in tight spandex? Ha - I've just been watching the Olympics mens 100 meter sprint - then I come on here and read that comment - the mind certainly went off on it's own little daydream for a moment there. I have to admit that I was a bit puzzled about Olli's comment that Charlie had been " Hysterical" That seemed to be a bit of an extreme thing to say about her reaction. Is it possible that the german word he used is a bit ambiguous when translated? btw - it was nice to see Charlie in the flat - this is a first - I think

For a German that was hysterical! They're not the most excessively emotive people. Now had Charlie been Italian she would have been flying in circles around the flatshare and smacking Christian with each orbit! BTW: Aren't the Olympics fun? ;D

Is it possible that the german word he used is a bit ambiguous when translated? Charlie was hysterical. She loves Oliver dearly, and the whole Axel incident terribly upset her. I was rather surprised too when he described her as such, but... there's not much I can do. Perhaps someone can confirm it for me. Do let me know if I've made an error. Many thanks in advance. Ivan, I loved your caps. The one with Sebastian had me laughing non-stop! And Christian just looked utterly gorgeous. Those blue eyes, and smooth chest (and lovely nips)... ok, am getting carried away.

Probably everything important has been said about this episode but on an absolutely random note I'd just like to add that I had to smile when I saw Christian sitting on this camping-chair in the middle of the room. It sounds a bit (o.k. a lot ) odd - especially when you read it out loud - but I just loved that. Don' t know why - maybe because it fits in with his love of going camping - maybe to him it feels somehow soothing to sit in it (although he'd certainly prefer the "real thing" ...). Not so many alternatives though - no wonder they sit on the bed so often (or on the sofa in the living-room) ...

Re: Charlie, I don't think she was being OTT - to be honest it sounded like she was almost as concerned for Christian as for Olli. She wasn't saying "What if they get Olli", she was saying "What if they come here"; Olli likely told her that his bashing was intended for Christian, after all. And to be fair, warning Christian to be a bit more careful might not be a bad idea, given that he acknowledged himself that if he had been downstairs instead of Olli he'd be the one just out of hospital.
As for the "Let's go to the newspapers!" storyline...hmm. I'm going to hold back judgement for now. Part of me thinks it could actually be kinda interesting and fun, but I'm worried it's going to veer off into cheese. I'm also not sure how it accomplishes Christian's goal of getting the boxers at the club to change their views of him - unless all their hearts grow three sizes and they turn around and group hug at the end of this storyline, which is just the tiniest bit unlikely, they're just going to dig their heels in further at the crybaby.
Side-note: I love Gregor telling Christian that he can basically have his pick of boxing clubs in the region. Yes, that's right - 4 months of training and a single public fight and you too can be the most influential boxer in Dusseldorf! ;D If I keep up my regime of drinking a shot every time the boxing storyline does something hilariously unrealistic I may need a liver transplant before the month is out...any volunteers?

Swimming used to be much more fun before they invented this new swimwear to-do list today: 1) make some coffee 2) invent some invisible super-swimwear 3) pick up some orange juice at the grocery store 4) release a hit single
