I noticed that! Is there any part of Olli that isn't gorgeous? ;D I don't think so. (But then I might not be the best person to ask if you want an unbiased opinion. ;D ) We should see Olli's legs more often. And I do have to say that Christian was looking particularly good today, as well. Christian's scurfiness as he moved toward more facial hair seems to have cleaned up and settled in nicely. I also agree with Ivan, the highlights have grown on me. I now think that they suit him well. BTW, it seems that the VL make-up department have purchased a new box of bandaids. Olli has had white ones, but when they woke up in bed he had a "flesh" colored one on. I guess that means that the next person to get hurt will also have to sport a bandaid over his or her eye for a few episodes.

Obviously that side of his face doesn't hurt much anymore, as Olli was sleeping with it on Christian's chest. Those band-aids work wonders!
(And don't get me started on how difficult it is to buy band-aids in Frankfurt on a Sunday!)

To me the sappy aspect comes from how willing Olli is to excuse any circumstances. The getting a beard thing, now the gaybashing. Olli just shrugs it off. He got mad once, when he was cranky from not getting any sex. He stood up to Christian when he was acting in what he felt was Christian's best interest (steroids), occasionally even to the extent where it was to his own disadvantage (not outing himself at first, the beard thing). While honorable, that is standing up to Christian for Christian, not for himself. It just means that Christian outranks Christian I think the only time where Olli really voiced something for himself was the time when he told Christian that if he didn't know that Christian really didn't like being in closet and playing along with Wolle, then Olli would have left already. And maybe one can count Olli's polite suggestions that Christian out himself to Gregor, something Olli was in favor of even while he was against Christian outing himself to the general public. For the record, I don't think that sappy has to imply that he can't be strong at the same time.

Suggesting that Christian tells Gregor was actually for Christian's good, too. He knew that all the lying, hiding, and pretending is not good for his nerves and at least around your own people in your own home you should be able to relax and not to be afraid 24/7 that something may happen.

In fairness the beard thing was Olli's idea in the first place. He thought it up, Gregor supported it and Christian accepted it grudgingly at best. At least Christian didn't marry an Iraqi refugee! To me it seems very important to Olli that Christian succeed in life. Remember he first started to have feelings for Christian when he learned of Christian's hard childhood and unjust imprisonments. So I think he's okay with making some sacrifices to see his Mann get some of his dreams fulfilled. Olli the romantic wanted Prince Charming and got him. Now he just feels he has to stand by him. Ideally while getting sctupped regularly. Suggesting that Christian tells Gregor was actually for Christian's good, too. He knew that all the lying, hiding, and pretending is not good for his nerves and at least around your own people in your own home you should be able to relax and not to be afraid 24/7 that something may happen. This is also a good point. Christian was suffering from a lot of anxiety over Gregor finding out and Olli (correctly) knew that Gregor wouldn't disapprove. Indeed, Gregor was more hurt that Christian kept it a secret from him. But when you see just how much happier Christian was once he was out to Gregor (I loved that scene in the hallway where Christian and Olli were spinning and smooching) it really was for the best.

aww poor baby christian. what a bunch of ignorant fools. that boxclub scene really struck a chord with me cause i think it digs down deep into the kind of cruelty that all kids face at one time or another growing up... made me so sad. good thing christian is 10x hotter and i would guess a better boxer (middleweight championnnn) than all of those guys put together. they're jealous. and i was so happy that christian didn't shy away from confronting them - what a bad-ass! also, i'm mildly embarrassed to say i was getting paranoid as per various comments over the last few weeks about christian being/getting 'fat'. needless to say, im happy to see that shirtless christian is looking fit! of course, he doesn't have olli's six pack of death, but i am totally okay with that.

At last a new Ollian episode. I was starting to get nervous ticks from waiting. Although being glued to the Olympics has helped.
I haven't seen the episode yet since I'm waiting for the subtitles. So I was wandering...will the translations be coming forth since Nanna is on holiday?
The screen caps look really great!! The scenes of Olli lying on Christian's chest in bed looks gorgeous.

brownsugar, Our own TorridGermanLove will be subtitling the clip sometime in the next 24 hours I believe. Thanks for the clip and caps Ivan! Angsty episode. I was sad that Charlie sort of blamed Chrissie-baby for what happened to Olli.

HQ = high quality (And by that I mean the files that Nanna and Ivan load up on Sendspace.)

Thanks, TGL!!! Are there plans for an HQ version to be made available? If you go to my YouTube site, you should be able to click on the "Watch in High Quality (HQ)" setting. I think Nanna may do subs for this clip; I don't know for sure. If she decides against it, then I shall upload it to sendspace. I'll have to ask her. Do forgive me, but I must get back to bed. I've got a long Friday ahead of me.

Thanks so much for the great work TGL!
I sometimes wonder at Christian's naivete. He really seemed to have an idealistic notion sportsmanship and was quite let down. It's interesting that VL has chosen to tackle this topic, as it doesn't really get addressed very much.
I stick by my earlier opinion on Olli. To me it looks like he's just getting some pleasure at being tough with Olivia. She still hasn't really showed any contrition over what she did, she just claims she never would have really gone through with it. I don't think she gets why Olli is upset.
Gregor finds Christian's righteousness a little more wearying than usual it seems. His suggestion of switching clubs makes fine sense to me. As the saying goes: it's hard to soar with eagles when you're surrounded by turkeys.

You go, boy! Christian's ready to fight, fight, fight! GREAT EPI! Thanks Ivan, TGL and Tihk! Jeeze, what is wrong with me? Whenever I see German guys angry, the handsome factor goes off the scale heh... I've mentioned this before, to my embarrassment, methinks. I loved this episode even Olli closing the door in Olivia's face. She needs to humbly apologize to them both. I, of course, LOVE Charlie no matter what scene she is in. She's wrong, of course. Ack! Did I type that out loud? Both of our guys looked so handsome, I could just hug them Geoff

I know what you mean mgh48, whenever Christian gets angry that snarling in German makes me weak in the knees. German is a great language to get all macho in.
Charlie was being a mother hen, but again I'm amazed that nobody seems to be discussing what's going on with criminal investigation into Axel's attack. I'm also impressed that they apparently managed to conceal it from her for this long. Olli had to have called in sick for work for several days at least.
Poor Christian though. If one thing would stroke his sense of guilt it's the belief that he's failing to protect his boyfriend.

My favorite part of the episode is the way Christian said "no" to Gregor. It was quiet but full of emotion. Very good acting on the part of Thore. It was also nice seeing Gregor's protective side, adopting a defensive stance alongside Christian despite restraining him. I think Gregor was highly aware that they were outnumbered by more than 2 to 1. It seemed that neither Charlie nor Olivia was aware of what happened to Olli. That seems to fit the way Olli was reacting after it happened. I'm glad that Charlie at least now knows, though I would love to see Olivia's reaction. I felt Charlie's response to Christian was immanently sensible, though of course, I expect nothing less from her. Once again, the boys display so much care and concern for each other. So sweet. Funny how each of them only seems to have about 2 pairs of underwear. ;D A big "thanks" to TGL. Although I am clearly in the minority, I also thought there was something slightly ... odd... in Olli's behavior after closing the door to Olivia. I can't explain it because I am not sure why, but something about his expression just struck me as slightly odd.
