But so far they have no reason to assume it's going badly. Particularly since Axel seemed to be gone from the club. Bureaucracy takes a while to get results. What would you do? Constantly call the police for check ups? That would just serve to annoy the policemen.
I still really don't understand what you expect them to do.

Funny how each of them only seems to have about 2 pairs of underwear. ;D Although I am clearly in the minority, I also thought there was something slightly ... odd... in Olli's behavior after closing the door to Olivia. I can't explain it because I am not sure why, but something about his expression just struck me as slightly odd. I noticed that about the undies too. And it's all good about being in the minority.

Funny how each of them only seems to have about 2 pairs of underwear. ;D They don't need it. They only put on some when they are filmed As for Olli and Olivia, I think it's a new experience for Olli to have an upper hand over her so he may be enjoying that a bit. No need to feel sorry for Olivia, she's still her old self, stabbing people in their backs, that's what she wanted to celebrate anyway.

One more aspect about O&O Olivia's boss Tanja von Anstetten and Olli have a track record. She tried to poison him years ago. I've forgotten the exact storyline, but it was implied again, when Olivia started to work for her. (Probably something to do with Charlie-Tanja rivalry) Charlie and Oliver tried to warn and convince Olivia not to do that, but she was as selfish as always. It would be rather odd and disgusting, when someone wants to celebrate with me, because a woman who tried to kill me gave her a new job. In general note, many of these misunderstandings come up, because most of people here follow only Ollian storyline and it's hard to understand character's motivation without background. But of course, everyone has a right to express his/her impression.

Even if nothing were going on we'd be discussing the topic incessantly. Here it seems like everyone except Christian is scared to even mention Axel.

also, i'm mildly embarrassed to say i was getting paranoid as per various comments over the last few weeks about christian being/getting 'fat'. needless to say, im happy to see that shirtless christian is looking fit! of course, he doesn't have olli's six pack of death, but i am totally okay with that. I totally agree. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but it really bothers me to read someone saying that about Thore. I felt bad for him, especially if he were to read any of these comments. Just MY personal opinion. I think he looks great with or without the 6 pack. As for the show, I felt SO bad for Christian. Wow..what awful people. But I'm glad he stood up to them and I don't think he should have to leave. I agree with him. As for Olli smiling after shutting the door..I didn't think it was so much of a smile and not really sure I would have notice had I not read all of this thread prior to watching it. ??

Personally I like Thore's body. I think it gets a little ridiculous when everyone you see on TV has perfect six-pack abs. A lot of people's bodies don't work that way, even if they're very athletic. He and Jo form a nice contrast to each other onscreen. I just think it's a pity that they wear anything in bed.

*giggle* yeah, I was mildly disappointed to see the boxers. LOL
But they looked good in those as well..so I was fine with it.
I'm just sad that they is no show today. I got really spoiled last week.
Back to the show for a second. I need to watch the episode again (my you tube is acting up and not working properly here at work - it might be rigged by my boss who wants me to "actually" work - ) BUT did anyone else think Charlie was a bit hard on Christian? I understand her worrying over Olli, but he is a big boy, as is Christian. However, blaming Christian isn't accomplishing anything (bear in mind, I haven't seen the ep in a constant run, so I might have missed this and she didn't actually "blame" him). But I know he blames himself. Any thoughts on this?

Ummm, I know I'm being a bit greedy here, but watching Christian skip rope (US- jump rope), and look all hot and bothered... God, I want him!!!I love Jo too, but I want them both now! Hot, sweaty, torrid sex, in the boxing club! Minus the fugly losers of course!!! I'm all in favour of sweet romance, but first it's Klingon-style mating, then Vulcan-style blending of the minds, and then human-style post-coital bliss.

Charlie was certainly harping on Christian. But this is what I meant when I said it's so weird the way that they kind of avoid talking about Axel specifically. Granted the other boxers are being pretty homophobic but they don't seem inclined to take it outside the gym. Olli was correct, Charlie does get a little hysterical.
I don't know. This scene could have been more developed. It's the first real scene where we've had Charlie dealing with Olli and Christian as a couple and I don't think a lot of things went the way they might have.
But poor Christian already feels guilty. Charlie certainly isn't helping that.

And I believe everyone here wants them. LOL... get the line started..or is it a "queue" over there? heh That scene in the bedroom was super sweet and I adored the entire thing. From Olli being his usual supporting, loving, angelic self to Christian being so worried about his Olli, every moment seemed right between them. It's no wonder they are so perfect and so wonderful and all things beautiful and amazing. *sigh*

Olli is like son to Charlie, no wonder she can't be rational when she heard what happened, just like Christian is still blaming himself about it.

That's completely understandable. But surely, she has to also understand that it was not Christian's fault and projecting that blame on him or insinuating the blame onto him doesn't help the situation at all. She could have coddled Olli (which I would have done the EXACT same thing so I am in no way saying that Charlie is out of line in that dept), without making Christian feel even worse about "his" part in all of this. I think she may have made matters worse.
Same as the night in the nightclub. Had she not "acted" guilty, as if she was trying to hide something, then Christian wouldn't have had images placed in his mind that perhaps Olli was was up to no good with the "fitness club idiot".
I like Charlie a lot, don't get me wrong, but I believe the show puts her character in a position sometimes that makes her look irresponsible.

To clarify so there is hopefully no misunderstanding: In the beginning, it was a joke because someone called him that on the blog and people then began to reference that sarcastically by calling TS/Christian "pudgy" in various terms. This was addressed a while back in the General Discussion thread but it was not meant as a critique of the character or actor but a commentary on those who called him fat or flabby. Also, there are others who believe that for a boxer, Christian didn't/doesn't come across as having the proper physique reflecting that fact. It's all about different intepretations but I don't recall... IIRC... anyone saying he looked bad overall, just not altogether ultra-fit or ultra-toned for being a boxer.

I was watching the clip again and realised I forgot to cap an essential moment Here it is As for Charlie, I think she'll get it right once she processes everything. She was just confronted with the situation and as somebody too close she's bound to get overprotective and hysterical.

That clarification helps a lot. I knew everyone loved TS/Christian and was wondering where all the "pudgy" jokes were from. Thanks!!

I loved yesterday's Ollian clip. I love how Christian told Oliver that he was right, that they have to make a stand, in order to make it known, that they'll not hide away from anyone, especially about their love for each other.
Man, I adore this couple. Adore them.

What I thought was really great was Christian making an issue of Axel's attack on his boyfriend to the thugs at the gym. Christian's doing nothing by halves here. This isn't just about him, it's about Olli too and it's so nice to see that.

I agree. I thought it was great when he walked right up, rang that bell, like listen up you idiots...I loved it! I loved that he called Olli his boyfriend, I loved everything about that speech he gave. Good for him. I love these two characters. Best on television.

A boxer's physique here in the States is overall much more defined muscularly. For Christian's weight-class, he should be much 'beefier' with a blatantly defined chest and larger biceps. Of course, that's here in the USA. Who knows how such things are done in Europe? Maybe there in national championships, the physiques of the athletes are expected to be different? Regardless, Thore/Christian definitely looks hunkier. It's obvious he's been working out, Jo/Olli as well. Both look in great shape, IMO. Geoff

Hmm. I'm a little confused here. I personally don't see Charlie blaming Christian or acting hysterical here, though I will totally grant overprotective. Not sure what others are seeing that I'm not. I think she's actually being pretty sensible by warning Christian that the situation has potential danger and that they should be aware of that. When Christian's moral outrage kicks in (and it's more than justified in this case) he tends to go into SuperChristian superhero mode (now with improved boxing skills and accessories!) and see himself as invincible. He sometimes needs a restraining hand, like Gregor at the gym, and Charlie at the apt., and Olli on several occasions, so that his rashness does not supersede his perspective. Grr. My last sentence makes them sound really condescending, but that isn't my intent. My brain is too fried atm to find the right words to explain what I mean. Maybe when it's working I'll be able to come back and clarify what I mean. Or not. ;D

Rose-colored glasses.
Christian reminds of some college kids I knew that figured they could change the world - no matter how unrealistic that may seem to anybody older than, say 25-30. They still have their rose-colored glasses on.
Gregor and Olli are a little older than Christian - just enough to know you can't really change the world. The rose-colored glasses are maybe, still around, but not really.
Charlie - well, maybe she remembers those glasses, but they're long gone.
(it's 2am, I hope I'm making some sense here, and I apologize to anybody wondering what the heck rose-colored glasses are.)
