We may want to see and hear Christian say "I love you" but the writers have their reasons for not having him say it yet. And when he does, we'll all say "Hallelujah!" and the angels will sing etc.... But they'll do it in their own time, not when we want it. So be patient. I also wouldn't set yourself up expecting big love scenes. People will only dissapoint themselves that way. They will show those types of scenes when they feel it works best. Are the words nice? Of course. Then again, saying it doesn't change anything, at least for me. *shrugs* But I am also not someone who feels that saying "I love you" is the only way to authenticate that you truly love someone. I think both guys have shown to the audience that they love one another, which means more, IMO, than simply saying it. I guess I am in the realm of actions speak louder than words. I was amused by Christian's face when Olli introduced him as his flatmate.

Btw, are you sure that Christian is really "out" now? Miriam wasn't there, and she's probably still clueless.. ;D You made me giggle, Aldebaran. And, you're right, that kiss, and his coming out for all to see like that, really was a wonderful way to make up with Olli. No wonder they were smiling like that! ;D ROFL! Alde, great one! ;D

I'm subbing the start of the fight right now and it occurred to me how much fun people on YT would have if I spelled Axel's name "Grossmann".
Part 1 is uploading now.

Squeee! Okay, a little angsty at the moment, because YouTube's going all slow on me , and I was halfway through the second clip before it refused to keep going. *refresh* And no, I'm not sitting here waiting impatiently at all ... THANK YOU IVAN! Love, love, love the screencaps. I can sort of understand why Olli lost it when they had their fight. Even though he's been so understanding, he's been under a lot of stress too, and I guess he just couldn't last one more minute of being so supportive. (Plus he'd been out late the night before, so maybe his brain wasn't working as well as it should've been . ) But he came through in the end! I've seen it now!! Awwww. I love how they're grinning. How hard would it be for them as actors to do that scene in front of all those people? I love them for making it work like that.

They cheated! They didn't show us whether Lydia and Rebecca were surprised about the kiss. But it was great seeing Charlie, olivia and Judith so happy. Haha..were they even there? I tend to look over Rebecca anymore and I really didn't see Lydia once see came in with Oliver. As for the "I love you"...I think they (being the writers) will save that for a special "all alone, one on one" time so we can all just melt in puddles and be on the message board for at least another 10 page posting spree.

While, for me, the actions are clearly saying those 3 little words, I need to hear Christian say it. Yes, when the writers are ready, of course. I want him to say it at the right time and with all his normal, expected passion! Then, I'll be ok. Olli probably doesn't expect him to say it, but I would heh heh heh. Geoff

I've always suspected that Olli could be the kind of person who can be really vicious in a fight, who can really rip you apart with words if he just lets loose. And because he is such a nice person he never does, but he has the potential to know what hurts precisely because he usually is so good at being considerate.

Geoff Is their love for each other somehow lacking because Christian hasn't said it? Will their love mean more once Christian has said it to Olli? I mean is there doubt about how they feel for one another because Christian hasn't said the words? I guess it's different for everyone. For me, I don't need the words because they've shown me. Too often you get the words and nothing that actually shows the love between two characters. I'd rather not have the words and see it. I think Christian saying it won't change anything because their love for each other has been firmly established and shown. YMMV.

I know… still, there’s nothing wrong with a little fantasizing in the meantime, is there?! But they'll do it in their own time, not when we want it. So be patient. I also wouldn't set yourself up expecting big love scenes. People will only dissapoint themselves that way. They will show those types of scenes when they feel it works best. No risk of that happening here… although I love to think/talk about how things will go from here, I just don’t get (that) disappointed or upset if TPTB take a different road. It’s just a TV show… a great one, but still!

I meant, he needs to be able to say it---for himself. You remember how his jaw clenched when trying to respond to Olli when Olli said it. And, I know very much, that he will mean it when he says it. It will be a great help to him to say it---but only if he means it. I hope the writers let him say it---but only when it seems right. If they don't, well, I'll get over it. We all know he feels this way, regardless Geoff

Bonobo, of course their love for each other won't change because of Chris saying the three "magic" words, and they somehow "shout out" their love around, but I wouldn't mind seeing him actually tell that to Olli. Perhaps I'm banal, but I'd like it to happen when they're in bed.

Great idea, Alde, but I want him to say it in the middle of No Limits right in front of Miriam! Yes, I'm ebil that way heh heh heh But, Bchick, your point is well taken: you can say the same thing by actions; sometimes, the words would just be unnecessary. I could imagine the scene when C says this and O, going, "Oh? but you always say this to me, Christian---with your eyes and your touch. I've known all along how you felt." Geoff

That's because they both left before the match ended (after arguing about Sebastian). I cut that bit out, because it distracted from the main story and I did not find it that interesting anyway

I totally agree with you. Like I said in a previous post… their love for each other is obvious in their actions and in the way they look at each other, so they don’t need to say the words to show how they feel. But still, it would be nice if Christian would at least say it to Olli once. He has already said it to Gregor a few times now, and of course, Olli has said it to him. Oh well, I’m just in a very romantic mood after watching today’s episode… it has me craving for more! ;D

In fact, I think I remember shouting at the tv to get on with it and show more of the boxing instead. ;D (And I don't even like boxing!)

Geoff Maybe it's a hold over from some other shows I've watched where main romantic couples were supposed to be [deeply] in love and I just never saw it (hey QAF-USA! as one prime example of that) so hearing folks say ILU and not seeing any love between the characters was just . (I am sure we can all think of a couple of shows that fit that description) One of the things about how the C/O storyline is well done is that I could never hear them say ILU to each other and I'd be happy because I don't need to hear it as the actors & directors have done a good job at showing me that the two characters love one another [deeply] and that means more to me than hearing them say the words. So I finally got through both parts once people at work left me alone. Good stuff. I enjoyed both clips a lot. I only halfway got to hear the dialogue so I will have to turn to the sendspace versions when I get home so I can put the words with the actions.

Again, I’m totally with you on this point. But, if we do get to hear the “I love you”, on top of all those precious moments in which they have already shown their love for each other, that would be a nice bonus, right? That’s all I’m saying… it’s just a little extra to add to the loveliness! It’s not an issue of “one or the other”, it’s “both”.

As much as I'd love to hear Christian saying "I love you" to Olli, I'm a little hesitant - and I think this could be the reason for him hanging back - because he did say it to CoCo. I remember watching some of the clips when Christian and CoCo were going through their awkward break-up, and when Christian said those words to Coco I thought "Oh no ... you don't really". So perhaps he's holding off, in case he jinxes things with Olli, or perhaps he needs to be absolutely 100% sure of himself this time, knowing he's not just saying it automatically. I'm sure if when he does say it, though, it will be a wonderful moment. I still love watching the scene where Olli says it to Christian, after their run, just before Wolle comes onto the scene. You can see the way he swallows that he's about to say something very important. Jo's acting is amazing!
