I have to agree with carld2 and overtherainbow. I really like Marcus and I also liked James. Antony Cotton has (in my opinion) played 2 of the more annoying gay characters I can think of -- his role as Sean in Coronation Street and his role as Alexander in the original QAF. I find neither character appealing.

Marcus REALLY put himself in it, in trying to set up Maria and Aiden. I like that the show is setting out the crumbs for the FINAL eventual breakup between him and Sean.
They have ALWAYS been chalk and cheese.
It would be interesting to see how Maria deals with her one-sided crush, because with Aiden coming back, Marcus's going to be torn between him and Sean..
That's just what I think.

Spoilers for an upcoming episode courtesy of digitalspy (highlight to read): As Marcus is given a lecture for being unprofessional at work, Sean realizes he's got it wrong and tries to apologize. Back on the street, Sean regrets going in all guns blazing, insisting his insecurities just took over. Responding, Marcus reveals that he's never looked at another man, but all this mistrust does prove there's something badly wrong with their relationship.
As Sean pleads with Marcus to go back to the way things were, Marcus isn't sure they can - they want different things now. Marcus wants a family, but is Sean prepared to reconsider adoption? As both wonder where this leaves them, could it be the end? Source: www.digitalspy.com/soaps/s3/coronation-street/spoilers/a387058/sean-and-marcus-consider-splitting.html

You know you're getting old when you see Aiden and remember Bazz from Hollyoaks all those years ago. ;D

I think Marcus and Sean are done good and Marcus is going to move into his own story apart from Sean (thank God). My guess is that he'll have a romance with Aiden and Marcus and Maria will decide to have a baby together.

It feels to me that this is more Sean's story and Marcus is like a guest star in it.
