i always hoped they wouldn't go the same route they did with the UK show, and i thought they wouldn't, so this came as an unwelcome surprise. i was also surprised that Ian went out and went all the way and had sex with a woman. but at least it seems that there will be no more of that. where as in the UK version, Ian ended up with a woman.

Which didn't have any sense at all. Frankly, i'm more than tired of this stupid show cliches. Nobody comes out as gay and then starts to sleep with women. If you want to have sex with women you come out as bisexual, or at least you have sex with woman before coming out as gay. But no, show writers think it's very edgy to have characters coming out (generally in dramatic fashion) to end in bed with woman after that. Ian never had any intention to have sex with woman, not even when he was struglling to come out, but suddenly after a lot of seasons he decides it's a good idea. I won't be that bad if it wasn't because half the writers writing gay characters seem to have the same innovative idea lately |

There's spoilers for Ian this season on Tumblr and Twitter if anyone's interested.
Cameron Monaghan is sexy and talented, but I just can't invest any more time in Ian and his storylines and his "love" interests and this show. Yikes. Ugh.

Given the standard set by Shameless for other characters' sex scenes, was anyone else as disappointed as me with the pan to the poster for Ian and Trevor's sex? The second part of the scene didn't even get that coverage, with the audience only learning about Trevor's experience bottoming from the post-sex conversation. Kev/V/Svetlana, Lip, Fiona, and even Frank, seem to get on-screen scenes...
