Just a few things about tonight (where's sheepie's analysis? ) Ok, 1. Aaron telling Adam about door policy "You have to look half decent." I'd interpret that as Aaron downplaying any idea in his mind that he still fancies Adam (regardless of writer's intentions ) 2. I couldn't make out exactly what Ryan & Aaron were saying. Did it sound like Ryan asked did Aaron want to 'go on the pull' ? And then the girl (don't know her name) said that Andy was 'rubbish at pulling'. 3. And finally the girl saying to Andy not getting 'attached to the cows, calling them names' . Metaphor? And then Aaron asking Ryan whether the girl & Andy were going out. Ryan replying,"Not yet, I don't think. Won't be long though." That could be a subtle prognostication of saying something else (apart from the literal interpretation of course).... I think you can guess what that is Aarondy?.

Loving Aarondy and did you notice that way Aaron looked at Andy when Ryan turned away, he was so thinking, I wouldn't mind a bit of that ;D

When someone talks about looking half decent it's usually to do with how they're dressed.

But then the one that keeps chatting up Andy says to Andy "You're rubbish at pulling/pooling". That's why I was a bit confused. Never heard of 'pooling' as present participle of this verb 'to pool', a verb which I never knew existed (perhaps it's slang that I'm not used to , sigh, the sheltered life ). Unless she was making a joke with homophones.... would that be consistent with her character??

Oh, and one more thing, (surprised nobody has mentioned this before), hark back yet again to January, Adam: Go on... hit me! Or would you rather kiss me instead? And well Aaron has now done both to Jackson.....

I'd take it as Aaron simply fooling around with his mate, implying he's ugly not because one of them thinks so, but because he's joking. And Adam is sexy as hell, so obviously it's a joke. (And in my opinion, of course he fancies Adam. Physical attraction doesn't go away in a month because the object of desire is not interested! That doesn't mean aaron can't be attracted/fall in love with someone else, clearly)

I'm not mother tongue so maybe it's a huge mistake, but don't english people tend to trasform in verb almost every slang-word? For example I just heard the other day, on Criminal Minds, a girl who said 'don't emily me' as in 'don't call me emily in that way'. Could be the same thing?

For example I just heard the other day, on Criminal Minds, a girl who said 'don't emily me' as in 'don't call me emily in that way'. Could be the same thing? Well, I guess that girl was just making a homophonic joke. She's saying Andy is rubbish at pooling/pulling because he's not returning any of her obvious advances towards him. And I think I hear Ryan a bit better now. He says, something like "Going down to the pool 'hall?' later, if you fancy it." And,then Aaron calls Andy "Suggers". Usage of nicknames can be quite ambiguous in intention, especially if it's between two guys. But if it were a guy and a girl, it would more than likely be interpreted as flirtatious (especially in a soap). I guess, I just see that scene as a bit of 'exposition', since it also set up Shadrach's uncomfortableness with Aaron.

True, but I don't get Shadrach's uncomfortableness, I mean we have never seen his prejudiced side before

True, but I don't get Shadrach's uncomfortableness, I mean we have never seen his prejudiced side before I think he just needs to get used to the idea. We're probably talking about a man who has never seen a gay person, and is convinced that they're all with a high pitched voice and loves pink. Or he's simply a jerk, but I hope not. What does suggers mean? I've never heard that.

Yeah but Shadrach has one snogged a man, I think it was just after Danny Miller had first appeared as Aaron. Aaron was in the pub with him and Chas and Shadrach fancied this bloke dressed up as a woman And suggers stand for Andy's last name: Sugden

Oh god, dressed as a woman? Then I'll go for he's a jerk. Or maybe he just doesn't like Aaron, without the liking guys/girls part concerned.

Well to be honest, seeing as he is Aaron's grandfather they haven't really had any long scenes together since Danny started, it will probably be one of things that will pass.

I read a post on the other thread by dannybaby...apparently he said he was gonna say he's gay all the times he's to go to court, 'cause that way he could get away easily. Honestly I thought it was something was nastier considering the reactions it got.

I think it's nasty enough to get such reactions of the other family members..

Ok, then it was rude indeed. Furthermore, it was rude because he knows aaron and how he whould react to that.

Maybe it means something like: all of those judges with their easy youth and good education, they feel sorry for Aaron and that's why he came away with it so easily?

he used the term 'nancy', which is quite a derogatory term. It's usually used to imply that gay men are effeminate and not real men, which is obviously very insulting to Aaron as that's what he's most worried about.
I think by the 'public school' comment, he was referring to the running joke in England that a lot of 'gays stuff' (not my phrase) goes on at all-boy public boarding schools.
