I hope someone will feel sorry for us non-native-english-speakers, and post Paddy and Marlon's conversation from tonights episode  The impossible - made possible - wow, there was a lot of dialogue for such a small scene - Paddy & Marlon sure talk fast!!!P - I told Pearl I could get her one on the cheap and you should've seen her face - she said if she wanted a lazy untidy pig that would eat her out of house and home then she'd get married. completely irrelevant conversation - just there to signify that Paddy has been waffling on without getting to the point of why he wants to speak to MarlonM- I ain't got all day mate. P - Sorry - yeah, I know you haven't - and it's probably nothing. Aaron was a bit down earlier - just a bit snappy, but it's not what he said - it's more, uhmmm. Well yesterday he was all - up - and then today he's all - you know - eye height to a minipig. ( a very Paddyesque way of saying down) M - Right P - He went out last night with his - sorry - he went out last night with his friend Jackson - you know - the bloke that was round at ours. M - Oh - well that's good isn't it - that's progress. P - he was really happy about going out - but he's gone all quiet again. M - Well, did they get hassle or something - fall out - what? P - Don't know - I've tried fishing casually - but he just scooted off to work. M - You could try asking him straight out you know. P - Naw - I don't need him to think I'm interfering or prying. I'm sure it's nothing - the thing is........I've invested all that time in getting his trust - I don't want to ruin it all. Probably just hungover - I shouldn't rush in jumping to conclusions - should I?........or should I? M - I dunno but - if your instincts are telling you something's up - maybe you should speak to Chas first. P - Noooooo M - Ask her what she thinks is best. P - She'll just think I'm being an old woman about it. And she's probably right to be fair. Thanks for the advice mate - and the coffee I'll see how he is over the next couple of days. |

Geez, after reading the posts, I realize I'm not understanding at least a 30% of what's being said on the episodes... It can be really difficult...but after quite some time watching english stuff I´m getting used to many phrases. I can even understand Marc Silcock sometimes lol ;D Damn german school system...You have to learn british english but you can´t understand anyone on your first trip there, that´s for sure. ^^ |
