I cannot believe EE has decided to tackle male rape after all this time - and written a gay man as the perpetrator, as well as piling on more misery for Ben as the victim.

The show is introducing a clutch of teenage boys, apparently without any female counterparts, so some fans were speculating there might be a gay or two among them. But no such luck, they aged up some of the female teens to ensure everyone has hetero love interests. One gay couple is the limit for EE I guess!

But no such luck, they aged up some of the female teens to ensure everyone has hetero love interests. One gay couple is the limit for EE I guess! The show also recently got rid of two young women in that age range, which added to the confusion. I imagine Felix will have a love interest at some point, although whether it's a regular or a guest character, who knows. |

It looks like EE will have some sort of Pride celebration at the Prince Albert next Thursday, just before Pride Month ends. Felix will perform as Tara Misu, and apparently has some surprise in store for Zack. It's probably a nonstarter since Zack is clearly straight. My guess is, based on the pamphlet Tara is holding up, Zack is roped into being a butler in the buff. Ben and Callum probably won't be in attendance since it is the day after Lola's funeral.  |
