Why do they do this bring them back for two weeks and get our hopes up then it's going to be another two weeks before we see them again. I'm so tired of this it makes me loose interest.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's longer than three weeks. It seems like, when they go into a black hole, it's for at least a month.

I really hope not. They were off screen for around 6 weeks, and then on for 2. And now they're going offscreen for another few weeks?

Christian likes to drink, he doesn't need a reason, right? Has Syed ever seen a drunk Christian before? That's probably what freaks him out.

To me there's a difference between being drunk and enjoying a drink. And during Denise's wedding he was drunk (accordind to what Syed said), so yeah he already saw him drunk

According to the famous thread on digital spy "Waiting for Chryed to get it on" Chryed will be involved in a forthcoming drama SL concerning either the Masoods or the Beales. But reading the script sneek peak, it's seems to be centered more round the Beales'

I second this. They've been gone for too long already! Granted, I haven't seen the soap in a LONG time, so I have some Chryed videos to catch up on in the mean time

I have a question, does this soap have other story lines or couples just vanish for months at a time? Or is it just the boys?

There does seem to be a rotation, but this is extreme even so.

I notice this show and the other UK soaps do that all the time. Characters just disappear for no reason.

Eastenders didn't start getting like this until about 2-3 years ago. I think it's budget cuts. Before that, only Hollyoaks did this.

I haven't been following the full episodes of Eastenders for a while. Could someone fill me in on what has happened with Ian and Jane since Lucy's abortion? It might help to know going into this new storyline.

Actually last time we saw Ian and Jane was during the Vic's fire(though few appearances from Jane)
When Jane learned about the abortion (though can't remember from whom) she decided to destroy Ian's life, accepted Bobby's adoption and confessed everything to Denise. She wants to open an account and then when everything will be settled with Bobby, leave with him. All of these are kinda speculation, coz when BK arrived as the headwriter he thought that finally Ian and Jane actually are EE's dream team. So Jane will finally fall back in love with Ian

Hmm. So, it sounds like the Masoods get a visitor from Zainab's past, who tells Masood something about her past that he never knew. Something very upsetting. I know Masood and Jane have come somewhat close in the past. My first thought was that Jane seeks comfort with him, though that's a guess. Even though she's learned the truth, she can't forgive him. Huh.
