From Digital Spy:
Friday 9th April Furious about Syed and Amira moving out and Christian redecorating the flat for them, Zainab takes matters into her own hands. In the hope of undermining Christian - and cutting him out of the equation altogether - Zainab enlists the help of Shirley, Heather and Denise. The trio reluctantly agree to pitch in and they set about painting. However, when Christian turns up, they're all unimpressed to hear that Christian's being paid. As everyone leaves, Zainab and Christian are left painting alone. The atmosphere's strained and as time passes, Zainab becomes further enraged at the situation until she snaps and accuses Christian of trying to steal her son. Christian's nonplussed by her outburst, which infuriates her further. With that, Zainab launches a pot of pain over him, before starting to physically goad him with a long-handled paint roller. Christian remains calm but a scuffle ensues, causing Zainab to slip and fall into the paint pots - just as Syed and Masood walk in. Later, Christian catches up with Zainab and vows to do everything he can to get Syed back in his life.
Monday 12th April Meanwhile, Zainab and Christian continue arguing about Christian as they redecorate the newlyweds' flat. Zainab's sure that Christian's only helping to ensure that Syed's close by and so suggests to her son that he should take Amira on holiday. Her interfering continues when she collars Amira and suggests that she needs some help in the bedroom department. Not taking 'no' for answer, Zainab calls on Mo and her supply of adult toys. Amira's outraged by Zainab's attempts to spice things up in the bedroom for her - and she's concerned that Syed's intimated that there's a problem. Having bought Amira some sexy lingerie and a tub of body chocolate - as well as two for her and Masood! - Zainab ushers Amira back home to try it out. Amira's attempts, however, prove fruitless when a flustered Syed suggests that they go out for a meal instead. Devastated by Syed's reaction, Amira turns to Christian for tips in how to seduce Syed.
Tuesday 13th April Christian seductively lets Syed know that Amira turned to him for help in the art of seduction as she's having a few problems with her husband in the bedroom department. Furious at Christian's dig, Syed insists that he's happily married and will never be with him again. Later, Amira bumps into Christian who's still frustrated by Syed's rejection and claims to have had an idea that could help her sex predicament. As expected, Christian's flawed plan goes awry, leaving Syed and Amira arguing. In another desperate attempt to satisfy Syed, Amira confides in Christian yet again, begging for advice. Christian suggests that Amira should meet Syed on his 'level', resulting in her agreeing to cast her sexy outfits aside.
Later, Syed returns home early and Amira forces Christian to hide in the bedroom. With that, Christian watched on as Amira attempts to seduce her husband - and it appears to work. Not liking what he's hearing, Christian runs out of the flat and drops his set of keys on the way out. Lucy spots the keys on the ground and when Syed leaves with Amira, she enters. Inside, she paints 'Syed Loves Christian' on the bedroom wall…
Thursday 15th April Christian wanders into Syed and Amira's flat ready for another day of decorating but is shocked to see Lucy's message scrawled over the wall. Realising that Lucy must be responsible, he calls her demanding that she buy some wallpaper to cover it. Lucy, however, pretends that she's unable to find some, forcing Christian to buy it himself. On returning to the flat, Christian panics when he discovers Amira and Chelsea in the living room - the bedroom door, however, is still shut. A flustered Christian manages to persuade Amira to wait until the room's finished before she looks. Later, Lucy turns up to help Christian with the wallpaper but as they begin, Syed walks in.
Furious at the message daubed on the wall, Syed insists that he loves Amira and not Christian. With the writing still on the wall, Amira arrives home and Christian once again manages to prevent her from seeing inside. Over food, Amira and Syed discuss their flat and Syed suggests that they no longer need Christian's help. Syed's heart, however, sinks when Amira mentions that she asked Christian for help in seducing him. Wanting to apologise to Christian for his behaviour earlier in the day, Syed soon finds himself on his lover's doorstep. Inside, an argument escalates until Syed reaches breaking point and passionately kisses Christian…
and Fatboy's furious to realise that Tamwar's his third and final date.
Friday 16th April A disappointed Syed wakes and sits on the edge of Christian's bed. With that, he tells Christian that he's leaving. Frustrated by Syed's toing and froing, Christian tells Syed that he needs to decide who he wants to be with. Who will Syed choose?
Tuesday 20th April Chelsea is suspicious about Amira's constant dizziness and nausea, in today's visit to the Square. Masood feels the strain following what he has discovered.
Thursday 22nd April Elsewhere, Christian and Syed discuss their options for the future.
Friday 23rd April Amira and Syed have a house warming party, in the final visit of the week to Albert Square, but tensions are running high in the Masood household. Qadim turns up to congratulate his daughter.
Monday 26th April Syed has some big decisions to make about his future, in the first visit of the week to Walford.
Tuesday 27th April Tension is at an all-time high in the Masood household, as the drama continues in Albert Square.
Thursday 29th April Amira's father, Qadim, arrives in Walford looking for Syed

New in-depth updates on Digital Spy:
Monday 19th April Masood sits alone at the allotment holding his bandaged hand, while an anxious Syed and Christian wonder whether Masood saw them kissing the previous day. Christian resolves to talk to Masood, who returns home to a domestic nightmare. Having been sent out for nappies, Masood decides to take some time out in The Vic. Inside, Christian apologises to Masood for the kiss he witnessed at the flat but by the end of their discussion, Christian's still none the wiser whether Masood realised that Syed was the other man.
Seeking further guidance, Masood visits the imam at the mosque in the hope he can shed some light on his predicament. The imam sympathises with Masood's situation but clearly warns him of the repercussions if Syed's secret were to become public knowledge. Realising what he has to do, Masood returns to the Square in a bid to dissuade Syed from coming out. When he returns, however, he's stunned when Amira announces that she could be pregnant…
Monday 19th April (again??) - I will assume this is intended to be Tuesday 20th April Masood's taken aback, having walked in on Christian and Syed in a passionate embrace in Syed's new flat. Retreating to the street, a horrified and shaking Masood returns home where Zainab questions whether he found their son. Masood, however, is visibly troubled about what he's just seen, while Zainab is none the wiser. With that, Masood reveals that he has a surprise for Syed for when he eventually arrives at the party. Syed eventually turns up at the house, where Masood reveals that he went to track him down at the flat but claims that nobody was in and it was all locked up.
After the meal, father and son clear away the dirty dishes and Masood reveals that the door to the flat wasn't locked, before saying that he saw Christian with another man and states how wrong Christian's behaviour is. Zainab asks her husband if Syed appreciated the Koran he bought him for his birthday and Masood lies about Syed's reaction, stating that he was touched by the gift. Gripping onto the cake knife, Masood puts it into the sink and calmly lifts his hand out, covered in blood…
Thursday 22nd April The Masoods' home is a hive of activity following Amira's surprise announcement that she could be pregnant. Zainab's delighted by the news and excitedly suggests that they throw a flat warming party for Amira and Syed to celebrate the start of their new life and the pregnancy. Masood visits Christian and takes pleasure in revealing the news that Amira's with child. Crushed by the revelation, Christian's emotional that this could mean the end of his relationship with Syed. With that, Masood reminds Christian that he's not yet been paid for his decorating work and so hands him a wad of notes, insisting that he go on holiday for a while.
Later, Zainab's unhappy that Christian's not at the flat warming party. She's lost for words, though, when Masood explains why - he walked in on Christian and Syed kissing. Zainab tries to cover the fact she already knew about their affair, while Syed and Christian have an emotional heart-to-heart about their predicament. Highly emotional, Christian points out that now Amira's pregnant, they must end their relationship. Syed begs Christian to rethink his decision, suggesting that they could run away together. Christian, however, is adamant that he can't continue living a lie. With his mind made up, Syed resolves to tell everyone the truth once and for all…
Friday 23rd April Syed's still determined to come clean with his family about his sexuality and relationship with Christian. At the Masoods', Zainab and Masood quietly process potential ways of dealing with the news that Syed's gay.
At the flat, Christian begins to feel like an outcast as the family congratulate Syed and Amira about the pregnancy. While a fraught Masood and Zainab ponder the situation, Syed walks in and profusely apologises for the situation he's caused. Despite having known for months, Zainab successfully manages to cover her tracks - and thanks Syed for playing along. Amira, however, has something to say but she's cut short.
Later at the Masoods', Amira's father Qadim turns up for the celebration but Syed's nowhere to be found. Back at the new flat, Syed informs Christian that his father knows the truth about them. Christian once again insists that they must go public with their relationship as he can't continue living a lie. Rethinking his position, Syed reluctantly admits to Christian that he needs to respect his peers, before walking out. As he does, Christian notices a photo on the wall and he's struck with an idea…
An apologetic Syed eventually arrives late to the party and quietly lets Zainab know that "it's done". Will Christian give up on Syed so easily?

*MASSIVE SPOILERS*
digitalspy interview with nitin ganatra (masood)www.forum.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2/eastenders/interviews/a213929/nitin-ganatra-masood-ahmed-eastenders.htmlHighlight: How does the big reveal come about?"The one thing that's put Zainab and Masood on a happier note is that Amira's now pregnant. In their eyes, it'll solve all their problems. There are some lovely father-son scenes before everything comes out where Masood tries to convince Syed that his future is with Amira and the baby. It's all looking good after their chat - until the flat warming party. The party's actually split between the Masoods' and the new flat for space reasons, so while everyone's enjoying themselves at the Masoods', Amira's at the flat and finds out about Syed and Christian when she spots Lucy Beale's graffiti. Amira freaks out and runs back to the party crying her eyes out. Syed rushes back in, too - and then Christian turns up. In the middle of the party, Christian says, 'It's about time you told everyone'." (i don't know about posting interviews, will post the full thing if people so wish - but i'm unsure about linking and that sort of thing)

This is getting good, but I hated to see Christian crying and I also hate that Amira will be hurt. It's all Syed fault. But I like him anyway but he did keep string Christian alone.

I'll post this Digital Spy interview with Nina Wadia here because it's sort of spoilerish. She seems to be alluding to the family shunning Syed, although the bashing would also fall into the category of "very dark," obviously.
Nina Wadia: 'Enders Plot Gets Very Dark' By Daniel Kilkelly
BBC EastEnders star Nina Wadia has revealed that there are "really dark" times ahead for the Masood family over the coming weeks.
Earlier this year, the actress's character Zainab Masood was forced to deal with the bombshell news that her son Syed (Marc Elliott) is gay and had been having an affair. Next week, the plot reaches a climax as Syed's wife Amira (Preeya Kalidas) discovers the truth.
Speaking on This Morning today, Wadia explained that the Masoods are to face more misery as the BBC soap's producers want to carry on providing a realistic portrayal of the issues affecting gay Muslims.
Fans of the Walford serial have already seen Syed's father Masood, played by Nitin Ganatra, being told to disown his son after seeking guidance from his local imam.
Wadia commented: "They've really done their research on this. It goes to a really dark place because that is what would happen--and has happened.
"From the research they've done, they've spoken to families who've had this conflict and you literally cut off all ties. It's like that person doesn't exist."
Ganatra, who was also interviewed, added: "It's very tragic, it's a very tragic situation for a family to have to go through that. They've handled it beautifully and very delicately."

Some Digital Spy spoilers:
Friday, April 30: "Meanwhile, Jane, Roxy and Lucy make a shock discovery, and Masood's left reeling to discover that he's been betrayed."
That's a bit cryptic, but I assume that it means that Jane, Roxy, and Lucy find Christian. On the basis of the spoiler below, it seems that Jane then reveals all to Masood.
Monday, May 3: "Masood stands agog, having heard Jane's revelation that Zainab's known about Syed's relationship with Christian since New Year's Day. His anger towards his wife is further compounded when he learns that she knew before the wedding--meaning she had ample time to stop the ceremony. Furious at Zainab's betrayal, Masood storms out. Zainab, meanwhile, turns to Jane for advice about how to deal with the situation at hand. Jane's firm that Masood deserved to know the truth but states that she shouldn't let their marriage suffer as a result. Back at home, Zainab has a heart-to-heart with Masood and explains that all she ever wanted was to rebuild their fragmented relationship with their son. Agreeing to put recent revelations behind them, Masood and Zainab resolve to move on and make important decisions together.
Later, Masood, Zainab and Tamwar sit down for a family meal but peace is soon shattered when Tamwar drops the bombshell that he's not going to university. Zainab's left reeling by his revelation and promptly insists that he's going whether he likes it or not. Masood, however, is frustrated by her reaction, especially after their heart-to-heart. At the end of his tether, Masood bolts upstairs and emerges with a suitcase. Zainab begs Masood not to leave but she's taken aback when he explains that he's not going anywhere--she is. Throwing her suitcase onto the pavement, Masood forcefully pushes a screaming Zainab outside into the pouring rain. Gathering her belongings from the floor, Zainab looks up to see a hand reaching down to her--it's Syed...
Meanwhile, a battered Christian lies in his hospital bed and asks Ian to promise that he won't lose what he has with Jane. Back on the Square, Jane begins cleaning up her brother's flat following the attack."
Here's a clip from Monday's episode:
Tuesday, May 4: "Meanwhile, Syed begins to deal with the fallout of his actions. Talking to his mother, Syed suggests that she either stay with him or return to the family home. Not content leaving things the way they are, Syed visits Masood and asserts that marrying Amira on New Year's Day was his decision, not Zainab's. Syed denies that he's returned to the Square for Christian, before handing over the Koran his father gave him. Later, Tamwar visits his mother and brother at the flat and reveals that Masood is prepared to see them the following day. While there, Tamwar lets Syed know about Christian's beating. Sitting alone in the bedroom, Syed stares deep in thought at the graffiti on the wall."
Thursday, May 6: "Zainab and Syed arrive at the house to meet with Masood and Tamwar; Syed and Zainab prepare to move back in when Masood agrees to forgive them; Syed learns that Qadim was responsible for Christian's attack; and Syed visits Christian, much to his parents' disappointment."

I don't know how I missed the complete text of the Digital Spy interview with Nitin Ganatra, but here it is. I've posted it in this thread because it's full of spoilers. (Some of this is old news, but there's also quite a bit about the upcoming week.)
Nitin Ganatra (Masood Ahmed, "EastEnders") By Kris Green
As if EastEnders caterer Masood Ahmed's life hasn't been thrown into enough turmoil following the Chryed reveal, he soon makes the shock discovery that his wife Zainab has known their secret since the beginning of the year. However, following a tender moment with their son Kamil later in the afternoon, Masood and Zainab resolve to work through their problems together. Zainab, though, pushes Masood one step too far when she overreacts at Tamwar's revelation that he's no longer going to university. Seething with Zainab's attitude, Masood throws her and her suitcase onto the street in the pouring rain. We recently caught up with Masood actor Nitin Ganatra to hear about the dramatic Masood twist and what lies in store for his screen family.
How does Masood cope in the wake of the Chryed reveal?
"This is the payoff for Masood now. It goes up a gear for him because you have to remember that Zainab's been lying to Masood--she's known for months about Syed and Christian. These Masood episodes coming up are the equivalent of the high drama that Nina, Marc and Johnny had over the New Year. Once he finds out about his wife's betrayal, Masood's whole world falls apart. What I love about Masood's reaction in the wake of the reveal, though, is that Masood says, 'No-one should have done that to Amira'. Syed's always been a bit of a screw-up but to mislead a girl into a marriage like that is unforgivable. Masood really, really has a go at Zainab about it--her pride led Amira down the aisle and ultimately down the garden path. Masood's just appalled about the whole situation."
Does Masood turn to Jane at all?
"Yeah and she doesn't tell him about knowing, either! He has his moment with her afterwards, though. There was a suggestion a while back that we might have been able to get a snog in there, too…"
What was your reaction when you heard about the homophobic attack story?
"I never saw it as a homophobic attack. I just saw it as an angry dad venting his frustration. Qadim has a shady past, so I'm not surprised that he's a violent man. But what confused me was that he didn't beat up Syed--I'm still not sure why they didn't do that. We've been questioning why and I'm sure they had a good reason, but I think that's one for Dom [Treadwell-Collins] and the story team!"
Were you surprised to read that Masood walks on when he sees Christian being attacked?
"No, I love it! Masood can often be too nice or to laid-back but he's flexible. So for them to write that Masood walks on by when Christian's being beaten up--that's such a brilliant additional layer to the character. We get to see an even darker side of Masood. When we filmed the first take of that scene, all the extras and the crew gasped and started hissing!"
How does Masood finally learn of Zainab's betrayal?
"Masood--being the guy who wants the rest of the family to get on with their lives--suggests going to the café and Zainab comes to blows with Jane while they're there. It's at that moment that Jane says, 'Well, you could have sorted all this out as you've known for months'. Masood's dumbfounded! I actually think that Jane believes Masood knew about Syed and Christian all along. I don't think there was any malice in Jane's comments because Jane's actually surprised to realise that he didn't know anything!"
How does Masood deal with the revelation?
"He freaks out! This is Masood's moment--he literally goes into meltdown. He walks away from the situation and away from Zainab. This is the point where he turns to Jane for help. Jane's talking about going to America for a few weeks and as Masood's persuading her not to go, he says, 'I still remember that kiss, Jane…' He even suggests going with her to America! His marriage is broken as far as he's concerned and he's prepared to leave the area."
Does he leave?
"No, as he's about to go, he agrees to talk things though with Zainab and they resolve to make future decisions together. There's this great run of scenes where they've agreed to talk things through as a couple. At this point, Tamwar makes a shock announcement that he's not going to university. Zainab reverts to her usual self and insists that he's going to university because she knows what's best for the family. Masood's furious, so he heads upstairs and emerges with a suitcase. Zainab starts freaking out that he's about to leave and he opens the door and says, 'I'm not leaving, you are'."
What was it like filming the scene where Masood throws Zainab out of the house?
"It looks spectacular! It's quite a violent scene, actually. We could have played it very differently because it's written in an understated way. There's no right or wrong, but it came across on the page as a simple, 'I'm not going, you are', which would have been quite cool. We can't have an argument without it getting quite animated! There should be boos and cheers at the same time."
What does the future hold for the Masoods?
"We're still filming the aftermath of it all and we're coming to the end of it now. It's very strained in the family but I don't know where it all goes from here. We have a new producer and he's come in with some great new ideas, so at the moment I'm in the dark. I'm looking forward to finding out what they have planned, though."
