thank you carmela for this new info about Adrian and the Orgullo (that i imagine was really enjoyable). Like you,i don't know what to think about;maybe there were problems in the organization ,but i don't know how much this can be true. Maybe because saying "problems of organization",for me, is like saying nothing. However maybe they have had some misunderstandings about the organization of the event (the date for example);but i really sorry about this because many people were happy to see him (even if they were not in the pride mainly for him); I'm italian and, like all the world know, here we haven't laws about gay marriage or the so called "PACS"(as in France) or "parejas de hecho";in my country 2 gay people can not be recognized legally as a couple and for this Spain is seen, from gay people and straight people who are agree with gay rights, as an example of tolerance, equality and laicity [with the separation between Church (that here in Italy has a great influence in the politics;only to win the vote of the catholic people) and State].And i fear that, even if Spanish people are now more tolerant than the past (i remember a pool where almost 70% of spanish people don't want the abolition of gay marriage with the PP at the government) and agree with the laity of the state, the new government will abolish the law about the marriage(that like you said is a first example of separation between the 2 "powers").I really hope that this never will happen, even because the people of PP know very well what the majority of people of Spain think about this marriage and about the necessity to ensure the laicity of the state. Returning to Adrian maybe he will do something with the association who organize the pride in Alicante;but this only because he can use the radio to promote his music ;i don't think that this is wrong but i would preferred to see him saying something about the gay people and rights, about the people that, thanks to his role in FoQ,started to love and follow him;but i like Adrian so much that i can "forgive" him (this is not the right word because i have nothing to forgive to him because he is free to do everything he wants with his life, even if i don't like it.).And,obviously,i will follow him and wish to him the best Thanks Carmela again for your previous post

I think maybe in Italy the catholic church has much more influence than in Spain because here, the church gave support to the Franco's Dictatorship (in fact, it was really a catholic dictatorship). Well, Italy suffered the Mussolini's dictatorship, but I think, it's very time ago, isn't it? Well, and the Vatican is in Rome!
In Spain, the first time it was tried to separate the Church and the State was during the II Republic (1931-1936), that gave women vote, divorce, laic education, etc. And for this reason the Church backed Franco. The first thing the dictatorship did, was to take off to women the rights the Republic gave them. And now we're remembering what happened and we, women, don't want to loose anything and for this reason is important the gay marriage.
Just about what happened to women after the end of the Spanish Civil War, there is a movie started by Marc Clotet, La Voz Dormida. I talked about it because his appearence as guerrilla fighter to do this movie. Really, I'm fan of Marc Clotet ,he was the first reason for me to watch FoQ, despite writers haven't been nice with him: he's a good actor (as we will see in the movie), and not only one of the most hansome men in the world.
If I think in Marc and in Adri, two people very attractive both for women and men, both Catalan, I could do some comparations and think about what Adri is doing with his carreer. Later I'm developing this idea.

Hi, carmela and jos! I'm finally back from vacation. So I hope I can post some new photos and may be info in coming week. Here's the latest pic from Adri: p.s. It will be really a pity (and also bad management on Adri's side) if he doesn't join the parade.

hi shiny, welcome back!!!! i hope your vacations were good. How can i write something after seeing that last picture? OMG i love this boy and carmela you're right;he is very attractive both for men and women.Who is able to say that this boy is not attractive, beautiful? no one I'm sure that Javi would say the same About the relationship between Church and State i have to admit that i was not aware of this Spanish history. i knew that Spain is a very catholic country but i never imagined how strong was the power of the Church in the past in Spain. Now, i don't live in Spain, but i'm sure that a lot is changed in this sense;spanish people, thanking God, have changed and now i can't imagine this situation again, even with PP at the government;because they know very well how the society in Spain in changed. And i'm happy for you. In Italy is all different because like you said the state of vatican is in my city;and policy (especially with the right-wing party) is very connected with the Church. In this years Church supported the right-wing party, even a great part of the people of this party don't have a Christian life-style (they are divorced but want to give us lessons about family, they have a sex-life that is not so "Christian"...);but for the church this is not important because for them the most important thing is having "facilities" and privileges. I hope that this society will change like the spanish one.And i'm sure that if in Italy will arrive at the government a man or woman, like Zapatero in Spain(i know that at the moment the majority of people in spain don't have sympathy for their prime minister, but no one can say that thanks to him something changed in Spain under the social point of view),who is able to help this society to "awake",Italy will change like Spain did (and not only in relation to the gay marriage). Because i trust in the italian people.I pray for this because i want to live in a country where all people are equal and where Church has not all this power. We need to be a secular state and not only in words but even in facts with laws who are guarantee of laicity. Returning to Foq and Adrian i have to say that i'm agree with Adrian when he says that he will not return in FoQ because the story of David is connected with the story of Fer. He was so right because this is the truth;i can't imagine David in the new Fisica o Quimica without Fer.But i'd like to see him in cameos in this new season, for example if they will remember Fer after 1 year from his death or when they will inaugurate the school's room dedicated to Fer.But,like i said many times,i don't like the idea of him in all the episodes of the new season.I want to see him only connected with Fer.However,at the moment, he is more interested to the music and infact this Thursday he will have an acoustic concert in Barcelona. I hope that will be a success for him.

I don't know how to embed pictures in here, but I have a question: www.tumblr.com/photo/1280/8060108211/1/tumblr_lowvp4fDuE1qkh5opThat picture of Javier and Adrian kissing in the bottom right corner -- where is that from? I don't ever remember that being in an episode. If it was from an episode, do you know which season/episode it was from?!

You're welcome. Glad to know that there are still people visiting FoQ threads.
I think I know the author, he's Russian. He has a special style (always recognizable) in his fan pics.

Yes, I got it from a Russian tumblr! And I honestly have been a fan of this show since I saw Javi's film at my film festival. To think that he and I shared a film at the same festival and we've seen each other's films is simply amazing, so I've been following his work ever since.

and i have to say that even though the videos are not in HQ quality,Adrian seems to be very good as singer. I like his voice. He can have a good success;and i believe that in the episode 12 of season 6 he sang (Solo quiero bailar) not very well because required from the script. Thank you for the video, shiny.

Shiny, I was there, in the pregon, and I saw some "devils" in the balcony of the City Hall, but I didn't notice Adri was among them (well, he was dressed to be protected from the fire). So Adri toke part in the Correfoc that happened afterwards.
The "correfoc" ("run the fire"in Catalan lenguage) is a Catalan tradition. The devils dance with fire, making a kind of hell- There are also several dragons with fire. I did some pics of the correfoc that i can put here, if you want.
