I'm new on this board. I like quite a few of us just found Fisica O Quimica by chance online about 2 weeks ago.
I came across the clip from 308 where Fer and David are lying on the bed at the party and start making out with Gorka and his camera in the window. I had no subtitles then and I was still intriged. I had to find out more, and now I'm hooked.
I fell in love with Fer and David from the start. I have watched every Fervid clips and episodes. I have stayed up late many nights watching YouTube clips and searching for pictures. I now follow both Javier and Adrian on Twitter.
I was planning on buying the seasons on DVD until I found they're region 2 and won't play in US DVD players.
I don't think I have cried so much at a character's death. I still to this day can't watch the death, or David hugging Fer's shirt or Fer's final kiss goodbye to David without crying. My family may think something is wrong with me. But what makes me cry even more is impalagurl67's Stay with Me Tribute video youtu.be/vsV15XLzeSc. I've watched it maybe 5xs and I balled like a baby...

If there is a season 8, I'll watch, but it won't be the same. NO Fervid No true FOQ. I don't know what they could possibly do with David now that Fer is dead. I mean he tried to commit sucide at the thought of losing Fer when Fer was planning on marrying Borja. Now David has lost Fer for good and he even witness his death. I kinda wonder if he still has the shirt with Fer's blood on (Kinda like Brian having the scarf from Justin's attack on QAF). I can't seem him being with anyone else. It would just feel like he's cheating on Fer.
Do I want David to be missrable(sp?), no. But I think the writers do. All the happy hetero FOQ couples past and present get to go off and live life happily ever after together and David is left with no one. Que Pasa? No mi GUSTA. Really? Why couldn't you just left Fer and David be happy, go off and married in a couple of years like Marina promised.
No T.V. couple past or present come anywhere close to these two.
WOW I feel better to get that off my chest. No one I know is willing to listen to me talk about this. LOL.

and welcome on this board.It's a pity that you arrive in a moment when the section of FoQ is not very active (for normal reasons). if you only had arrived months ago would have been interesting to read your opinions.Your post is interesting and i can understand why you fell in love with Fervid. Everyone here (and many others that don't come here in the board anymore) fell in love with these amazing couple.They had something special that is very hard to find in other couple (i find this magic also in Chrolli and Dero;these 3 couples are in my heart for different reasons.I saw other storylines that i liked very much but not at the same way of the three ones I mentioned earlier).
Fer's death was very hard to accept,in a first moment (and maybe many of Fervis's followers haven't yet accepted this choice from the writers).I accepted it even i would have preferred another end (and happy end).And don't worry because everyone here (and i'm sure all over the world since Fervid was seen in many countries) cried for this death,for the moment where David finds Fer's shirt and when he cried on the bed after the funeral or for their last kiss;was impossible to remain impassive;and this is very justified because they gave to us great emotions and those moments represented the end of everything.But i remain,in my head,with the idea that Fer will remain the great real love of David and that David,even if he will continue his life,will not love another man in the same way he did with Fer.David's heart is property of Fer and always will be.
About the season 8 i read many spanish articles about the cancellation of the show in Neox,too.(and Javier Calvo said something about this too in twitter) For the moment seems that the new Fisica o Quimica will not start. And i am not so sad for this,because this new show never would have been FoQ,but a sort of spin-off (this is my personal idea because for me FoQ are Fer,David,Olimpia,Ruth,Cabano,Gorka,Yoli,Alma and all the characters of the show we have seen on Antena3).And even if the show will start i think that Adrian will not be part of it (or maybe only as a guest-star for 1 or 2 episode).Adrian himself in an interview (in a gay radio if i remember well) said that the story of David is only connected with Fer;and without Fer there there is not David.

First: HELLO, my name is Ryan and I am brand new to this board so if I am doing something wrong TELL ME, I AM SORRY =[

OK so I have scoured the internet and I am so sad that I cannot find full subtitled episodes for this series. There are only broken clips.
I know there are loads of non-spanish-speaking people would love to see everything in it's completeness from season 1 episode 1 all the way to the end.

Has anyone tried to organise a full translation? If not, let's do it! please! I am happy to add the subtitles to video if somebody can send me scripts (preferably in English, though I can use always use google to translate spanish ) so yeah, I am not expecting anybody to just create the entire thing for me, I can put the work in.

Oh and by the was this show is AMAZING right? I have never cried at a TV show or film until I saw this program and I have cried so many times.

Some news about FoQ from Italy: a Catholic asociation asked to stop its airing in the Italian TV because "promotes homosexuality among the youth". This is the recapt of a Spanish gay web, as one of the exemples of the bad situation in Italy related to homophobia (Spain is attacked for its politics about LGTB), racism and antisemitism.

But, in fact, the 3rd season of FoQ starts its airing in February 1st in Rai4 (after the information of an Italian fan in the Spanish forum).

Well as the old saying goes, never judge a book by its cover! I have recently watched the whole of FOQ for the first time, somewhat late I know but better late than never! It became a favourite straight away and I have re-watched it over again. I had seen a clip of FOQ ages ago when a link came up whilst watching something else on YouTube. It was the scene where Fer and David kiss at a party and Gorka takes photos of them through the window. My first thought was do I really want to watch what I assumed was some light hearted teen drama so decided to give it a miss. What a mistake! OK there were plenty of light hearted, very funny moments but it was also so much more powerful and emotional than I had ever expected. I genuinely did like most of the characters, students and teachers and enjoyed following their stories as best I could away from Fervid.
So Fer and David for me in a nutshell:
Series 1-2: a pity about Oliver, the jury’s still out on Hugo and no thanks Carlos. Now Fer and Gorka, that would have been something else altogether.
Series 3: just one word to sum it up: David!
Series 4: Bad, bad start from David but much improved as the series went on until he again went off the rails and then Marcos. Fer was very easy to forgive him but that might just have been the end if it were me…………but who knows, maybe not? What was David looking for because as we know from the Hugogate video that Fer was the biggest boy in the whole school anyway!
Series 5: Not so sure! Not so much because of Fer/Yoli which wasn’t so implausible a story (believe me) but more because of David/Jorge. I still can’t forget that David never looked more handsome or more lovelorn than in his scenes with Jorge, especially the scene in the lift. Not something I relished watching.
Series 6: My preferred series of all. I loved emotional, tearful and sometimes wily David, wearing his heart on his sleeve. Somewhat out of character especially after the end of series 5 but I didn’t mind that. Only jarring note was David telling Fer he had settled down and given up his sleeping around as he had met a great guy who was really worth it. That little bombshell came and went without further explanation but anyway wasn’t Fer worth it then David? Wonderful finale but if I was Fer I might very well have stuck with Borja, so sincere and so very handsome. But as the boy himself said: David is David!
Series 7: Many, many wonderful moments here as well apart from the obvious. As the whole of series 7 wasn’t fully subtitled I don’t know if David actually told Fer that he was indeed now bisexual. I think he admitted having the dreams and they were a turn on but they didn’t mean he was going to act on them as he was with Fer? Anyone reads this and knows differently I would be more than pleased to know as it is still unclear in my head.
I wish I had watched the show live and known about this forum at the time so I could have joined in the discussion. I don’t think it ever came up on DS where many of the other shows were discussed.
I have enjoyed though reading every single post on all the FOQ threads here and getting other peoples insights as it was happening as well as many useful translations.

I really liked FoQ and i admit that i see the episodes very often.But not only for Fervid but even for the other stories. I find FoQ a very good product that deserve to have a great number of followers.
And about FoQ in Italy i can confirm that Rai4 airs the episodes of the third series everyday at 13:45(and the next week,if i am not wrong,we'll have the season 4 too).And for what i saw today i can say without censure.Today was aired the episode 8 and the kiss between Fer and David on the bed in Bianca's and Irene's house was aired totally,without cut. And even the scenes between Cabano-Paula and Alma. And that thanks to Rai4's director,who defended the telefilm.And he wrote a reply to this Catholic asociation:
“Trovo tutto ciò scandaloso, perché la serie in questione la ritengo assolutamente pedagogica, tratta i temi del razzismo, dell’omosessualità fra i giovani, certo questi argomenti nella serie TV sono affrontati con realismo, ma sempre in chiave didattica. La sto riproponendo ora, visto che ho avuto tantissime richieste dai telespettatori che hanno scritto al nostro sito di Rai4 ed ho già comprato le nuove serie. Io mi chiedo come in un paese europeo, laico come è l’Italia, si possa chiedere in modo così perentorio ed integralista la sospensione di questa serie. Lo ripeto, sono profondamente scandalizzato e allibito.......................Mi meraviglio come mai questa associazione non si scandalizzi per altri programmi Rai, dove si parla di gossip, di donne, di cronaca nera. Sono profondamente offeso da questa associazione, che non sa leggere la fiction di oggi e sono abituati che solo Don Matteo si può proporre in televisione..” that translated is:

"I find it outrageous, because i find the series in question pedagogical, deals with themes of racism, homosexuality among young people, some of these topics in the TV series are faced with realism, but always in a didactic way. I am proposing now(the series), since I have had many requests from viewers who have written to our site Rai4 and I have already bought the new series. I wonder how in a European country, laic as Italy is, you can ask in a peremptory and fundamentalist way the suspension of this series. I repeat, I am deeply shocked and appalled.............I wonder why this association is not shocked with others Rai's programsi, where is talked about gossip, women, crime news. I am deeply offended by this association, which is not able to "read"today (modern) fiction and is used only Don Matteo can be offered on television " (Don Matteo is a fiction with a priest as protagonist).

Bravo to the Rai4 director for such an intelligent and strong response. Unfortuately I only have British sat tv in Italy but hope to get a normal digital antena as well. However I did discover I can watch Rai live on computer so will check in online.
Another thing comes to mind about series 7 that I would like to find out about. As they are carrying out Fer's body after the shooting to put him in the ambulance David shouts something at Fer and then almost goes to attack him and has to be held back by Salva and Yoli. The only sub for that scene has him shouting "Fer" but I don't think it is that and that it is something stronger maybe shouted in anger. In my mind that would make sense of David's later apparent indifference about Fer until he eventually breaks down in front of Yoli and asks why did Fer have to leave him.
Maybe if Rai gets as far as series 7 I might get to know what this one bloody word is if the translation is correct. ;D

Spiacente ma a quanto pare la Rai ha imposto il blocco della serie. Possiamo essere fiduciosi che il nuovo consiglio di amministrazione della Rai che verrà eletto a breve cambierà questa decisione. In ogni caso è stata fatta la richiesta di acquistare le ultime due serie in Italia, per cui prima del 2013 non si farà niente. Però su Facebook stiamo traducendo la sesta serie in Italiano... abbiamo praticamente finito la prima puntata, devono solo sincronizzare i sottotitoli.

Anyway I'm sure that David only says "Fer"...
