Fer and Gorka? Urg….  I mean, it’s not like Christian in VL. Even if it should look like he had a problem with homosexuality, he never did something bad to hurt Olli. But Gorka humiliated Fer (also in front of his whole class – the Hugo-thing and the video). I don’t see, why Fer should forgive him and furthermore should fall in love with him or in a kind of sexual relationship… What you say here sounds to me like it will end up in that… DMoushe: Thanks a lot for translating and making the subtitles.  |

Those are really excellent caps Bernatfan! Many many thanks. I so love the expression on Gorka's face in the elevator. Shame you didn't capture the shocked look on his face when he came face to face with Fer's crotch. Very amusing and you kind of knew what was coming next. As I mention above there is a great sense of fun in Fisica O Quimica and I find it really enjoyable to watch and sheer entertainment. Gorka is typical of bully homophobic types in all schools. Yet, as Antena3 is showing quite often such types end up experimenting or being gay themselves. I find it very interesting how Gorka and Fer, as if by fate, have been thrown together Next week sees some real drama with more blood and tears. I was a little worried about posting the next frames in the shower, Fer shows a lot of butt but the scene is priceless. When Gorka wakes up and realizes he is excited from the dream is terrific. The elevator scene is also great, you know Gorka could probably knock Fer out if he wanted to so the little "struggle" he puts up is very telling. After being so physical in the previous kisses the one in the play is so tender. Now if only they could get Cabano and Julio to join in. |

YOU ROCK! Please don't apologize. I wasn't talking about you I just thought there might be some other spanish speakers who might pitch in. you're doing a lovely job and I'm very appreciative.
I've been trying not to look at any of the vids or follow the discussion because I don't really understand what's going on and I don't want to misinterpret anything.
Gorka is not Christian But
I don't think we should judge a 16 year old the same way we'd judge a 24 year old. Gorka is in a lot of pain and anguish (like most teens) and he played a horrible prank on Fer ( he basically pantsed him 2008 style) but he didn't physically harm him and I don't really think it was about Fer.
Gorka is angry and unhappy and feels powerless and since they've all probably known each other since they are young, it makes since that Fer would have a different reaction to Gorka then we, the audience might.
Fer was just an easy target in part because he was so insecure about whether or not he'd ever find a boyfriend. Maybe Gorka was "protesting too much" and wondered if he himself might be gay and therefore he chose to behave like a "horses arse" regarding all things gay.
But the fact that Fer didn't let Gorka's behavior make him bitter or scared or sullen is FABULOUS.
He told his friends to chill and not retaliate and just let it ride because there will always be bullies and Gorka wasn't special.
I think now they are just working out their relationship to each other and I think the drama teacher is brilliant in encouraging them to work together which will mean they'll get to know each other and probably much of the "sparring" will lessen.
I'm holding out for Gorka to learn and grow and stop fighting the world (whether he turns out to be gay, bi or straight) and being friends with Fer (who is very wise and courageous for someone so young) might be good for him.
I can't really speak to the "falling in love" stuff until I've watched the videos. It's all very exciting though. What a wonderfully written show. Thanks to everyone who's bringing all the info to us.

I think it's superbly done but I've Spanish gay friends who think it's a terrible program, don't like how they treat the gay storyline. I don't like how FerGo was handled. As another poster said, it was doomed from the start, but what it seemed to be in essence was a vehicle for developing Fer in relation to the other main characters: Julio, Cova, Gorka, Oliver, etc. Hugo was kinda...just there. Not to mention Hugo seemed like a completely bizzare choice for Fer, but high school romances often are. But in terms of the overall season story arc, I think it's been really poignant pending some resolution to Fer-Julio-Cova's story in the season finale. I particularly liked how the season opened with Gorka punking Fer and by the end of the season, Fer's basically punked Gorka. Who would have guessed that the guy who's been most vocal against the "maricones" would end up not only in a play about gay tolerance, but pretending to be gay at a gay bar at a foam party? I see it as kind of poetic. Fer has gotten a great story arc this season about developing a self persona that's confident and secure in himself. The same Fer who was absolutely terrified of being in Chueca in Episode 4 now goes with the most homophobic guy in school? I wish I could have been like that in High School. Forget FerGo, it's all about the Forka now! |

DMoushe IS THE PERFECT LAST BITE OF PIE!!!
1) Elevator scene is the best. Gorka talks a big game about beating up everyone but Fer knows there's not a lot of bite behind Gorka's bark and Fer is not afraid to challenge Gorka which I think is the basis for a real friendship. If Gorka was really all that terrified of "the gay" it would have gone all tasmanian devil on Fer in that elevator. He didn't he was really curious and upset and I loved how Fer handled him.
The elevator kiss was so sweet because once he stopped pretending to struggle, you could see Gorka really trying to work out whether or not he liked it. I don't even know if Fer really noticed.
2) Fer has NO SHAME IN HIS GAME. He's not cocky but he's so much more confident and happy and growing into himself. It's so lovely to see.
3) Finally Cova had the good sense to end the silent but deadly feud. She and Fer have such a special relationship. I'm so glad they're making up.
4) I love how Miguel the drama teacher allowed Fer and Gorka to work their issues out and didn't intefer.
5) I don't really care for Ruth. I think she manipulated both Cabano and Gorka and I don't like that. Gorka has a point about the bouncing back and forth. It's like she's keeping them both guessing. Sometimes if you really love someone, it takes courage to act on it. Ruth lacks courage.

The guy on the bridge was Olivier, Gorka's pal. Isn't Carlo the one who kissed Fer in the men's room after the class found out that Fer was gay? Before they got to meet again Fer was seeing Hugo. yes the same guy who kisses Fer in the mens room supposedly in tonight episode (season finale?) they will hook up again |

After last weeks fun and amusement tonight sees the disasterous aftermath of the plays public performance in Episode 21. Fer does indeed get together with Carlo in a raunchy shower scene which results in Julio feeling betrayed by Fer who fails to accompany Cova to a special evening that Julio has prepared. Next day Julio refuses to talk with Fer and takes off to the gym and ignores his classmates who go on a class trip to a country estate. Gorka is forced by an ultimatum from Ruth to make it up with Cabano, but at the country estate Cabano becomes enraged when Gorka tells him the truth, that he'd only played along to make Ruth happy. This results in Cabano taking to a roadster vehicle with Isacc who tries to stop him, being taken along for the tragic ride which ends in a ball of flames. The clip from next weeks episode showsh the students gathered in a cemetary in tears as a coffin is carried through their midst to be buried. Who's funeral, who dies? We'll have to await next week for the answer! if you see the spoilers carefully you can make out who dies. just see at the shot of the teachers at the funeral |

Well, this episode was a downer, but I guess they have to build up for the finale (that's the next episode, right?). I'm pretty sure I know who dies, but watch it be a shocker and it's Cabano. That would set up some pretty interesting plots for Gorka, Isaac, and Yoli next season. Boo for Olympia shutting down the play, too. Seriously, with all the inappropriate relationships going on in this school, it's the gay play that's the most outrageous thing?
I'm not sure I'm liking the direction Fer's character seems to be going. I could too easily see them go with Fer developing an attitude as confidence becomes arrogance.

I really wish Hugo hadn't disappeared as though he never existed. I like that Fer gets to have a fling with a cute boy though. Fer deserves tons of happy carefree times. He's been through so much already.

I meant that I'm pretty sure it's Adolfo. I mean, they even showed him doing his will in the last episode. Isaac can't die yet because they haven't wrapped up his plotline with Irene.
As cute as Carlo is, what Fer did to Julio was just plain rude.

Maybe you and DMoushe could work together to lessen the workload. I know dmoushe works with dailymotion (I don't know if that's better or worse in terms of uploading and flagging. The projects seem to be less taxing for folks when there's a group.
Thanks for all your work. I wish I was better with Spanish. I can make out just enough to kind of figure out what's going on but not nearly enough to help with the translations.
