He knows what he's doing! Yowza. Just a shame he never got any gay action on his show. I watched it all the way through hoping for it and was left frustrated. But at least we have his pageant appearance to tide us over. https://www.instagram.com/p/C2MMt9BLH9E On a separate note, is there any news on production of the 2nd season on KinnPorsche? They were renewed pretty quick off the bat but then the studio ran into so many problems and it's been over a year so I'm wondering if it's still going ahead.

Sorry justinate, I totally forgot to answer this. As far as I know, the second season was never officially cancelled by Be On Cloud, but I honestly doubt it will ever see the light of day after all of the BTS problems that went on. If I recall right, the second season was going to concentrate more on the relationships of Vegas/Pete, Kim/Porchay and Time/Tay rather than KinnPorsche themselves (though they would still be up front and centre in the family dynamic story), but the departure of Build (Pete), Jeff (Kim), Ping Touchchavit (Job) as well as some other minor cast members was always going to make it more difficult for them to continue. I think Build and Jeff in particular were too solidly identified with their characters for BOC to get away with a simple recast. However, the real killer blow IMO was the Build/Poi court case which had turned out particularly nasty. BOC pretty much sided with Poi at the outset and only suspended Build, declaring that the accusations, if proven, were the worst type of gross misconduct and would result in immediate contract termination. Build pre-empted that outcome and resigned anyway. When he won the case it left BOC in a precarious position on how to proceed. To my knowledge they never revealed what happened after that, but Poi is no longer with the company, and as one of the authors of the KinnPorsche novel, I suspect has probably taken all the rights to any follow-up story with her. Build was asked back to film the drama '4 Minutes' which was written especially for him and Bible but he declined and said he wouldn't be returning to BOC.

It's a shame how all the BTS drama dragged down the show and has probably gotten it canceled, making it yet another gay-led drama that hasn't lasted more than one season.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Well Thailand, the company behind the upcoming BL series 'Born To Be Y', held their 2024 showcase event (called 'Project Lightup'), in which they announced their roster of productions for this year, which did include some BL series. 'Black Forest', 'Can I Love You?', 'Mafia Prince', 'Go Alone With Me' and 'Term Begins' were the titles of interest, and all the actors, including the likes of Folk Touch, Lee Long Shi, Gun Napat and Haii Sarunsathorn were in attendance to tell the gathered press about their new shows. However, just 12 days later, it looks like the whole shebang has now gone belly up, as the company have put out the following message:

Back in October, Me MindY announced their next two upcoming series, both of which were based on stories by Mame. The first to be filmed is 'Love Sea The Series' starring Fort Thitipong and Peat Wasuthorn playing Mahasamut & Tongrak. Here's the first teaser which Me MindY are calling an 'Intro' video: Quick synopsis: "Tongrak, a popular love novelist who has a sweet face decides to travel in order to find ideas and experiences to continue writing his novel which has ground to a halt due to writers block. Fate brings him to meet Mahasamut, a handsome young man with sharp cheekbones and dark skin who loves to get on people’s nerves. The two end up in bed, and Mahasamut becomes an important part of Tongrak’s life that he can't do without. But he doesn’t know if they can really love each other. Will Tongrak end up with Mahasamut?"

A few posts above I mentioned how the production company Well Thailand recently held a showcase event to announce their forthcoming BL series for 2024 and then out of the blue, suddenly released a statement two weeks later to say they were shutting down and ceasing all operations. Well, it seems like all is not lost, as it has now been announced that the rights to all the works have been sold to another company EntSync and the series 'Black Forest', 'Can I Love You?', 'Mafia Prince', 'Go Alone With Me' and 'Term Begins' are now reported to be moving forward after all. It's still not clear what the status of Well Thailand's already completed BL series 'Born To Be Y' is, since that title doesn't appear to be included in this new deal and was last known to be scheduled for a March release.

GMMTV have announced that they are conducting a full investigation into allegations made by the ex-girlfriend of actor Pawin Thanik that he has been guilty of physically abusing her. Kaellyn, a social media influencer, made the claims through her Instagram stories account earlier today, in which she included images of "strangulation bruises, scratch marks, and signs of being hit on the head", all of which she claims were caused by Pawin's violent behaviour. Pawin, who debuted as an actor in the 2020 BL 'My Gear and Your Gown', and has also starred in various other GMMTV series, including 'Dangerous Romance', 'Never Let Me Go' and 'The Eclipse' is currently filming the upcoming BL series 'We Are', although the production is already looking like it will be impacted by this issue.

I am hearing they are more than halfway through the filming of We Are. Going to be hard to go back to recast now. And not recasting will generate quite a bit of backlash. At this point, there got to be a lot of pressure on Pawin to settle this quickly regardless of whether the allegations are true or not

Oxin Films, the Philippines based production house, know for the 'My Day' trilogy, 'Tie The Not' and 'Rainbow Prince' have announced their new line-up for 2024. 'The Bashers', 'Sky Valley' and 'Sashes and Hearts' are the titles of their new series with Sky Valley being their first fully fledged joint BL-GL story. No synopsis has been released for any of the titles, although Oxin have stated that Sashes and Hearts will centre around the male pageantry business with Gio Emprese playing the main villain of the story. This series will also feature the first appearance of Oxin's latest raft of boy actors, James Lucero (that's him in the Sky Valley poster being embraced by Oxin regular Tim Tuppil), Mac Alonzo and Jury Fajardo (back row in the 'Sashes and Hearts' poster). 'Sky Valley' has also had this inconsequential teaser clip released:

GMMTV have issued a new statement in connection with the allegations of physical abuse made against actor Pawin Thanik. According to local Thai newspaper reports *still unsubstantiated* Pawin was obsessed with a video game which caused ongoing friction between him and his girlfriend Kaellyn, who apparently felt she wasn't getting enough of his attention. This ultimately resulted in an argument in which she picked up his console (one report says it was his PC) and threw it out of the window. The console (or PC) hit a man on the head which required surgery incurring costs of 30,000 baht which Pawin will have to pay. The newspapers imply that this triggered Pawin and he physically took it out on his girlfriend.

Here is Pawin's explanation for this situation: Since we are entering the "he say, she say" part of the situation, we should probably await the police investigation to really decide on who is in the wrong.

Be On Cloud have finally released the first cast teasers for the revised version of '4 Minutes' the original series that was written by author Sammon specifically for BibleBuild. After Build resigned from BOC the studio put the project on the backburner to allow the commotion it caused at that time to pass, also seek out a new actor and refashion the storyline to make it a better fit for the new pairing. Described as a 'bitter drama', by Sammon, she has cryptically hinted that the title has something to do with their story, which could be life or death but would not include time travel. The tale will be sad, and have beautiful details added that are intrinsic to the story.

'Born To Be Y' which was the only outstanding title left with the company WellThailand when they unexpectedly closed down 12 days after their Showcase Event in January and then sold on the rights to all their projects to the newly formed EntSync a few weeks later, have now postponed the series from its previously announced start date of the 6th March. The show, which was actually completed a year ago and kept getting postponed due to internal issues at the company, was not mentioned in the earlier deal but has now been confirmed as an EntSync title and given a new projected release date around the beginning of June. EntSync will be holding a merit ceremony for all their upcoming projects (including 'Born To Be Y') in the near future. Quick synopsis: "Fourteen aspiring contestants audition to compete in a reality TV show called 'Born to Be Y' to search for the best boy couple of the year to work together on a giant BL project which is expected to make them teen idols. When different people, places, and feelings come together and try to live in harmony, many stories are about to unfold."

The official trailer has dropped for Frank and Long Lee's vampire series "OMG! Vampire"It actually seems to go under the slightly longer name of "OMG! Vampire - Red Wine Vampire" but only the first part of the title is ever shown in English so I guess that's the name it will be known by. Quick synopsis: "After waking from a century-long sleep, vampire Phum finds that the land of vampires has banned vampires from falling in love. The new law doesn't suit Phum and he and his gang of close friends flee to the land of humans where people have more freedom. The process isn't easy and involves taking the bodies of their parallel human selves, where Phum now finds himself living the life of a broken-hearted young man. He begins to regret his decision but things take a different turn when he meets Patrick, the owner of a bar, and ends up working for him."

Seems a bit weird to hold a merit ceremony for a show that is already completed and ready to air. I hope OMG Vampire is good, as I want Frank to finally get a decent BL

Very Great Company, the production house who are behind "OMG! Vampire" have now also released the pilot trailer for their other new upcoming BL "Last Meal (In The) Universe". It will star Gun Napat Injaiuea (not to be confused with actor Gun Napat Na Ranong from 'Golden Blood') and Ritz Rueangritz as the main protagonists, and tells the story of a young restaurant owner who could potentially save the world from destruction by serving mouthwatering dishes to an alien who comes to destroy the Earth. Quick synopsis: "Shun is a galactic engineer who is tasked to demolish Earth to make way for a new intergalactic expressway. However, on his arrival on Earth, he is captivated by the delectable homemade dishes served by ChonDan, the owner of a quaint Thai restaurant. Instead of going ahead with his world-ending plan, Shun secretly postpones it, lured by the promise of more delicious meals with ChonDan, who unaware of Shun's original mission, offers him a spare room in his apartment, making them not only dinner buddies but also housemates and their bond deepens with every meal they share."

This looks really fun, can't wait. Although I do wonder about the Galactic Public Works department and what they have against Earth, seems to be a regular location where they want to put expressways/highways through.

Studio Say-Yes have finally released the trailer for their fantasy BL series "Memory In The Letter". It's another show that was completed last year and was originally touted for a third quarter release which never materialised. Now that the trailer is here, it hopefully won't be much longer till the series is with us. It stars Beck Pitchayutt and Parky Napavit in lead roles of Aksorn (Letter) and Songjum (Memory). Quick synopsis: "An online novel about two young men from two different worlds who are able to meet through a mirror becomes the obsession of novel fans around the world. The unique theme and the fact the author remains unknown only adds to the fascination. However, for student Aksorn, the tale is even more astounding, for he knows it is based on his life! How did the writer know his personal story, and is there a way for them to meet in person? Soon he is in the midst of an intrigue of two loves, two universes and a miracle."
