So I just binged the whole season thus far today while I was at work. Granted I should've been working but it was worth the watch. I will definitely be keeping an eye on these 2.

I am assuming that there will only be about 3 episode or so left at most, since I assume they would want to finish by Christmas (Since this is all in real-time). This does not leave a lot of time at all if they want to introduce the MI storyline. They should have started earlier so they can do what the OG did and take a short break after the MI is revealed. To conclude the MI storyline in 3 weeks would require the characters to evolve at a breakneck pace. I really hope the goal is to end on New Years Eve (with the two making up on Xmas). That would allow the MI storyline a chance to breathe.

Sinterklaas is based on the historical figure of Saint Nicholas, a Greek bishop of Myra in present-day Turkey. He is the catholic patron saint of children. This man is usually depicted as an elderly, serious man with a white beard. He wears a long red cape, a red mitre and holds a gold-coloured shepherd’s staff with a fancy curled top. According to tradition, Sinterklaas ‘comes from Spain on his boat’. He visits everyone by riding his white horse on the roofs, dropping the presents through the chimney with the help of his Black Petes (Zwarte Piet)*. This whole tradition is actually the older version of Santa Claus on christmas, which a huge part of the world celebrates. Before going to bed, children put their shoes next to the chimney, fireplace or heating. They leave the shoe with a carrot and sugar cubes nearby “for Sinterklaas’ horse” and sing a Sinterklaas song.
