I liked that Sander didn't forgive Robbe right away, what he said was unacceptable, no matter what state of mind he was in. I wish they put a longer period of time before the next clip though. I did like that Sander was still wary of Robbe at that point though.
Considering Robbe's history of backsliding every time he takes a step out of the closet, I hope nothing scare him back into the closet (perhaps someone seeing them kiss in public?)

Robbe mimicking his mind being blown by the kiss was adorable. I see why Sander didn't make him work harder to make up for falsely accusing him of taking advantage of Robbe while drunk. That was totally a dick move but at least it made WTFock different from the other remakes.
Are there only 3 episodes left - Robbe still has to come out to his friends and family, it seems pretty tight if they're also going to tackle bipolar Sander. I would love for the story to continue in season 4 with Sander as the principal character, but realistically there is no chance of that. The same people who said it was only right that gay male protagonists are erased in favour of bi females, will throw a hissy fit at the thought of a bi male being given the season originally focusing on (yet another) straight female.

Which is roughly the amount of time all the remakes took to deal with the bi-polar storyline. So there is more than enough time to wrap things up.

So, with today's clip we've dealt with Robbe's dismissal of "queens" dressed in feathers on Pride floats flaunting themselves and frightening the horses, and his subsequent slapdown by Milan.
What the episode skipped, compared to the original, is the Evan/sander character dumping him in the same five minutes, which always made that episode such a heavy & painful experience to watch ! So, we are in new territory!
Despite its flaws this wtFOCK story does drive off the safe tarmaced road provided by the original Norwegian Skam and bumps around on dirt tracks, thus keeping us all guessing what's going to happen next!
I am enjoying the ride despite my teeth ratting from the bumps!

There is exactly 5 episodes left. I see, thanks. I mistakenly got it in my head there were only 8 episodes in total. I'd argue that 5 episodes don't really do justice to the topic of male mental health - I still feel this is the season that tries to cram too much in (which was also my complaint for the original Skam and all the remakes that didn't erase their gay boy). Seasons 1, 2 and 4 are all focused on a single issue, but here we have both coming to terms with one's sexuality and mental illness packed into one season. |

It's Friday night and it's late! Godz, such a long gap between episodes! The last one was thursday at 7am. And still we have with ten mins left to fill.
I feel like it's going to be an emotional ten minute episode! Is Robbe going to be at at party and find Sander kissing his (ex) girlfriend?

It really was You should probably read Sander text about not being able to sleep, also the clip before this you could see it starting just the way he was talking. If he's not bipolar then it might be something else. WtFock is full of surprises. |
