I'm not really feeling it. It isn't the best start. Waaaayyyyy too much hetero action and the actor behaves like he's into it (unless Robbe's meant to be bi).

Is the actor who plays Robbe straight in real life? His kissing scenes with Emma reek of insecurity/desperation to show he's straight IRL. After multiple clips of that, it just rings false when he eventually shows a sexual interest in boys.

The fact that we still have no bel!Even and such a heavy presence of Noor is leading me to a really bad thought. Could they have modified the story so this season is only focused on Robbe coming out and there will not be any bel!Even at all? This could explain why they are slow playing everything since they need to stretch the coming out storyline to the entire season?

Considering everything happens in real-time and a season is generally 10 episodes, that means they have 8 weeks left to develop a relaionship. If they wait til the middle of the season, that would be 5 weeks. While that is probably still enough to develop a relationship, that would certainly mean they would need to jettison the mental illness storyline in that case. |

Well, I'm glad I was wrong about them not introducing a belEven. It seems like they somewhat sped up the development between Robbe and Sander, with them having their first hang out and introducing Sander's GF in the first episode that Sander shows up.
