I enjoyed this little spin-off. It was a cute way to update us on the characters' lives in lockdown, keeping the momentum going (and the actors employed) while promoting an important social message about the necessity of said lockdown. WTFock, along with Skam France, have really taken the source material and made it their own - to superb effect. I think it is actually better than the original. Skam Austin, Espana and Druck could really take some cues from them.

While I don't think that WTFock and Skam France are better the original, I do agree they have taken the original material and made it their own. Especially, when it come to their interpretations of the Even/Itask relationship. With Skam Austin, Espana and Drunk, I could only watch a couple of episodes and couldn't get into it at all.

I know my opinion doesn't really matter but at the end of the day its just a haircut. He's a human and he doesn't have to keep his hair the same. That's just people who don't cope well with change in my opinion. There's worse things going on in the world seriously. That's like for each person that is mad about it will at some point cut their hair and will get mad when someone says they don't like their haircut. But I digress. |

I think it looks nice. And considering lockdown, who knows if it will be back to white by the time they get around to filming the next season

So WtFock changed and made a brand new character the lead this season Kato. So nobody knows what this season is about yet.

It feels like a major misstep to swap out Yasmina for another white protagonist, especially in the current climate - to say nothing of her being a character we've never met before.

A bit weird not to go with Yasmina. Unless they really wanted to tell a story based in the current corvid19 climate, I don't see why they couldn't have adapted Sana's storyline for Yasmina
In regards to a new character, I think it all depends on whether that rumor that Julie the creator actually banned creating additional seasons on existing characters without her consent. I know Skam France had to get special permission to do Arthur, and probably why they invented a new character for the 6th season.

Wtfock English posted a clip with subtitles: I am only half way through the current season - I have been disappointed by the lack of Sander (and the very few scenes with Robbe), but have to admit that I enjoyed the focus on Kato and Moyo so far. The dancing has been fun. |
