I'm glad to see Santiago finding the courage to tell someone about the abuse he's being going through. I went through a very similar (but less extreme) situation with a swimming coach when I was a teen and didn't have the same courage as Santiago. You definitely feel paralyzed and being young makes it all harder. At the time I was also in closet, so I was extra afraid the situation would bring focus to my sexuality. My solution was simply to leave and never come back. I loved swimming and had to give it up fortunately  Hopefully the show can send a message to all kids and teens going through the same thing! |

I loved the scene between Santiago and his dad. I'm glad something good was able to come out of this terrible experience for him.
The little song his dad sang while they were hugging was a nice touch to the scene... it was really sweet and emotional. The whole scene was very simple but effective.
