Well, Pedro is certainly a hottie, and I'm glad the show isn't shying away from physical intimacy. Unfortunately it appears to be another coming-out drama. Regardless, I'm interested to see where it goes. Thanks for bringing this series to our attention!

I could try to translate the dialogues and post them here. But university starts March 31st so I don't know if I can keep doing it.

If it's too much work to translate all of the dialogue, maybe you could just give us a short summary of what's happening in the scenes instead? Even that would help a lot, and we can fumble our way through the rest.

I translated his character description (from www.tvi.iol.pt/o-beijo-do-escorpiao/paulo-furtado):He's António and Teresa's brother. Lives a double life. He's a homosexual and is fine with that, but only in private. Works as a co-pilot in a company of private jets, whose owner is really conservative and that keeps him from coming out. He never was that good in school and realized he was different really early. He had his first homosexual experience when he was 15 and that upset him deeply. It was Teresa who helped him know what he was going through and accept himself. When he was old enough to choose a career, he decided to compete for a commercial pilot course. Lusojet Airways offered him the opportunity to do the course and invested in his formation. It became his home and Paulo grew within the company until he got the co-pilot job. We wants to go further and be a pilot, like his best friend Miguel. One of the things he realized early is that homosexuality is forbidden in Lusojet Airways. The owner, a Luso-French magnate, is really conservative and can't stand "deviant behavior", as he says. For that reason, Paulo realized that he had to hide himself to have a career in the company. Lusojet Airways gave him a career, financial independence, stability and took him to know the world. Made him the man he is today. So Paulo decided he will never come out. He's absolutely dedicated to his profession. Has occasional affairs that never last. When he's in Lisbon, Paulo goes out at night with Miguel.

I tried to translate part 1 but I couldn't understand everything. Maybe because I'm Brazilian, but I also think the sound is not that good. So here's a summary:
Paulo and Miguel go to a party and a woman asks if they are lovers or brothers. Paulo says they are only friends. And Miguel, a womanizer, leaves the party with that woman. Some days later, they are talking after landing and there is a young woman with an old man. Miguel thinks she is only interested in his money, Paulo says she might actually love him. Then Miguel says that there are three things that don't fit: two men, two women and a young woman with an old man. (You can see Paulo's reaction when he hears "two men".) They also talk about some problems Miguel's brother Fernando is having. (Miguel lives with Fernando and Fernando's wife Rita. This will lead to some cool scenes in the future.)
Paulo goes to Teresa's workplace (she's a psychologist) because he forgot the keys to their home. She asks him if he wants to have lunch with her but he says he has something to do. Teresa gets all happy about that and he says she knows he doesn't like to talk about it. Smiling, he goes to a hotel room where there is an unseen person taking a shower. Paulo goes to the hotel's dining hall and finds a man having lunch with a woman. It seems that the man is cheating his wife with that woman.
Back home, he made dinner. He and Teresa eat and talk about their lives when they were kids. That they didn't have much money but were happy. Teresa says she worries about him and he changes the subject. They then talk a little about that man and his wife.
Teresa says she thinks is silly of Paulo that he hides himself and wants him to be happy. He says he is and Teresa jokingly says she believes that. Miguel calls Paulo and invites him out but he refuses, saying he is tired.
The next day, Teresa gets home and tells Paulo that the only thing she does is solving problems. He says that they are all other people's problems, because she doesn't deal with her own. She says she has almost none and Paulo asks when was the last time she had a boyfriend. She says people value dating too much and she is happy with her life and has no time for a boyfriend. Then she tells Paulo they have a dinner at Rita's. After the dinner, Miguel invites him out again and Paulo accepts.
