The whole thing is plot-driven. Unfortunately. I know some of you focus on Lari's shortcomings, but I haven't been thrilled with either Elias or Lari's behavior in a long time. Lari's shit-show today is just the latest. Kalle was right on: Lari wanted revenge, and he didn't think about what it would mean to everyone else. The show wanted the secret to come out, and they picked a soapy, dramatic way to do it. Whatever that meant for Lari as a character. It does reinforce his immaturity.

I still have my doubts that Lari is actually the biological father, though it doesn't really matter much at this point. The fact that they haven't actually done a paternity test makes me think they're keeping that twist for later. I guess we'll see.

I feel bad for Kalle. He's had bad luck with boyfriends and his mother is a meddling, self-righteous ass. I don't see how he can trust her after everything she's done.

I really do have such a hard time wrapping my head around Elias wanting to be supportive about the whole thing. He's a better person than me, because I would never want to see Lari again if I were him. Id be wishing him the very worst.

And having this clip end the way it does is gross too, because the time to try and play like Lari and Elias are still a supercouple has come and gone. Elias gets nothing out of still be associated with Lari anymore, so they should just stop. He just looks pathetic "chasing after" a guy that explicitly rejected him and now has a child from an affair with one cast member, and has another major love interest in another (Kalle). Elias deserves his own focus again.

I dont necessarily want to see Miska again, but I need for Elias to have a storyline again where he's moving on.

I agree so much. Before this whole Lari mess Elias was such a great character, I wish he would go back to his glory days.

I feel badly for Kelle because he's the only other gay character and the writers have decided to stick him with a kid who has no prospects, no ambition and frankly the personality of toilet paper and the maturity level of morning due. Instead of finding him a grown ass man as a love interest.

I feel badly for Elias because most likely in the eyes of the show he and Lari are endgame here. And because of that his character will never be the same simply because who he was as a character will continue to be sacrificed in the name of the couple. Because Lari on his own is as interesting as dirty dish water.

I feel badly for us as fans because this is one of the few gay couples we have left that get any decent air time. DeRo are gone, Cholli are gone, David and Fer are gone, Lucas and Edwin are gone, Lucas and Menno are gone and pretty soon Lucas will simply be gone. Lucas and Brad on General Hospital are a joke and are hardly ever seen, which begs the question of whether they actually exist or were simply a figment of our imaginations. Poor Felix finally gets a boyfriend but we've never seen hide nor hair of him. So Felix is there to do what he has always done which is support Sabrina in her mess.

As for me Larias is end game as when Lari came to accept who he is instead to show how those develop together in peace instead they gave us breakup. Maybe now things will go the right direction and we need a guy for Kalle to be happy again.

I don't know if Elias is lying to Sebastian or himself. I hope he only wants to be Lari's friend but I know that's not what's gonna happen.

But thats the thing. It doesn't feel like Elias is lying.

I'm lost. Even if I knew where they were going, I sure as hell don't have any idea how they can possibly get there.

I don't think Elias is lying right now, either. I don't think he wants to get back together with Lari.

For whatever reason, it does "feel" like they're eventually going to put Lari and Elias back together. It just seems like the most likely path for a soap like this. It's a classic soap trope of coming back to the first love, even if it takes a while. At the same time, I guess I can't consider it a foregone conclusion. Certainly for the near term, Lari is going to try to get Kalle to forgive him (as we saw today). I kind of don't want Kalle to forgive him, but considering Kalle's personality I have a feeling he will. We'll find out.

I thinks its horrible how they treat the character of Kalle. He has been really hurt over the years and now Elias runs to Laris' side to pick up the pieces.

Yeah, I agree that there's a definite implication theyre making with those 2. I mean, strolling along the riverbank shoeless? And I had feared the worst, but I dont think we really should have figured that they would make Elias continue to pine if they were going to write Lari as having legitimate feelings for Kalle.
But even so, if theyve strung it out this far, they're not gonna stop halfway. Don't expect Elias to bump his head and Lari to pull his head out his ass all in 5 seconds and they suddenly want to be together again. I'm not expecting a reunion anytime soon. Probably in late spring or something. In the meantime, there's plenty of material to get through that a soap can't afford to waste. Months of story has to be like gold to a serialized show. There's Elias moving on, Lari realizing some things, Kalle's depression and recovery and moving on, Lari and Kalle making up as friends and Kalle being ok with Lari being in love with Elias again, triangle with Lari/Elias/Elias' Boyfriend, Larias reunion, and them adopting Ilja when Sanni dies or something.

Months and months of story.

How is anyone supposed to actually root for and not dread Elias and Lari getting back together?! Why would that last scene make anyone happy?! Why is Elias being more friend to Lari than he deserves, when the only reason Lari's there is because Elias is literally the only person Lari knows who doesnt hate him. And Elias has more right to hate him than anyone next to Kalle - and Kalle edges him out only because LARI HAD A BABY WITH HIS SISTER.

Why are they playing it like this?! Lol I may have to quit this show again for awhile. Elias finally returns, and all he's getting is the chance to be Lari's caretaker all over again. Smdh.

Between Elias and Lari are still unsolved things.all the problem because Elias didn't want to wait and he went miska than Lari was in dark place and he found Kalle.
When Elias discover who is more important to him Lari was in situation he could leave Kalle. Now? maybe a long way which will bring our guys together to more mature relation that can succed .

Elias had waited long enough for Lari. I think 2 years is plenty. And Lari played him every step of the way. True, he was having problems with his father, but Lari wanted to be miserable and not just move in with Elias and be happy. He couldnt even make up his mind whether he wanted to be with Elias, and that was BEFORE Kalle and before Miska was much of a threat.

NOW this show wants to try and cater to fans, when it should have happened last season. Its too late now.

Well, it goes without saying that everyone sees the show differently and wants to see different things.

I don't blame Kalle for shouting today. Lari keeps being an idiot and trying to ask Kalle to take him back right now. And Sanni was really quite self-absorbed herself (which is ironic considering that's what she accused Kalle of being). Why on earth would they think Kalle wants to see either of them. Jeez *roll eyes*

Kristiina is still a hypocritical ass, and I liked Lari telling her off (kind of). I dislike her character the most, by far.

So Elias' behavior has been interesting. I don't want to read too much into it, but he seems to want Lari to stay. Hmm.

Kalle seems to be softening. At least at the end of the clip he did.

I'm not going to hold my breath that Lari works on himself too much.

Well, I suppose it was worth a shot. I'm not sure it's making things any better. It can't have been that long (in show time) since Lari spilled everything, and people need time to process everything before they can be ready to forgive (especially in Tale's case).

I don't think they ever will truly be friends again. I also think Ellias is butting in too much. Its really not any of his business other than they fact its keeping Lari away from the big reconciliation he is planning.
