VideosAlternativosBR (who posted Eduardo and Hugo's storyline) has started posting clips from Avenida Brasil covering Roni's storyline. I am not sure if he is going to provide English translations from the original Portuguese.

The first part:




I am not sure which character is Roni, but the show seems to be packed with hunky men from a soccer team.

So this is part of what I found out about Ronnie for the moment. I'm not too good with Portuguese, I understand a whole lot more written than when it's spoken so I don't really know what was said in the video other than some words here and there.

Highlight (but it doesn't really say much)

I have no clue who Leandro is at the moment. But from what I read on the spoiler, he might be straight, and It doesn't mention how he knows Roni.

And this is Ronnie/Roniquito. He is the one that get's called in, (number 11) and also the one wearing the red t-shirt.

O personagem será Ronnie/Roniquito, papel do ator novato Daniel Rocha. Segundo informações do site oficial, ele é “divertido, é filho único de Diógenes – papel do ator Otávio Augusto - e tem problemas em contar para o pai que não vai se tornar jogador de futebol e assumir que é gay”.

Em entrevista ao jornal Extra, o ator falou sobre os dilemas do personagem: “O pai investe as fichas no filho, que tem talento, mas não tem vocação para seguir isso para o resto da vida... Vai ser um dilema, principalmente, por ele ter um pai machista e morar no subúrbio, onde a comunidade é mais fechada, e o pessoal tem um pouco menos de instrução. Na Zona Sul, aceitariam de uma forma mais liberal. Roniquito vai viver grandes contradições”. Aguardemos! A novela estreia às 21h.

Por outro lado, já passei por uma experiência terrível em uma universidade da zona sul junto com meu outro amigo e parceiro do blog Rafa Zveiter. Na minha opinião, não existe diferença entre a aceitação das pessoas do subúrbio e da zona sul.
  O personagem Roniquito (que nome!), vai se apaixonar pelo colega de time Leandro, vivido pelo ator Thiago Martins. Daniel acredita que essa paixão vai ajudar o personagem a se descobrir melhor.

That is quite exciting news Omar.

There's nothing worth it to be translated on that clip. The talking is about football, women's breasts, etc. . The novela has just started (Mars 26), so we have to wait for more episodes. Few things are known about this gay character (Roniquito): he's the son of Diogenes (owner of a beauty & female clothes shop, and president of "Divino" football club), and he plays in his father's club just to please him (because actually, he doesn't like it ). It's been said that his father won't accept his son is gay, so there's drama ahead for this cutie

It's actually six days a week. From Monday to Saturday.
And neither Ronnie nor Leandro are part of the main cast, so they may not appear in every episode. I'm not familiar with the Brazilian novela style, so I can't say much about it.

Bruno Gissoni has really handsome brothers, and since's his charcater, Iran, is not going to be Ronnie's love interest, then maybe one of his half brothers should be it I mean, the Rodrigo is an actor, and the youngest is a soccer player. They are celebrities, so it could make the storyline more interesting as well.
