Wow, 31 minutes! Though there's nothing gay there (yet )
I love the fact that Roni is very smart and has a strong personality ; it's getting clear he and his dad seem to switch their roles (to the point that Roni is, actually, the one running his father's shop )

Short recap of this part: Roni's father (Diogenes) has to stand his lousy employee (Suelen) because she has pics of her and her boss having sex. Roni is fed up with the girl and wants to get rid of her once and for all, that's why he tries to scare her off first in order to force her to tell him where are those pics. He gets them, and Diogenes throws them to the garbage bin. She seduces Roni's friend (Leandro) just to get into Roni's house to recover the pics. Well, she finally gets them...

Clearly, the situation is back to square one thanks to Leandro's stupidity (though the girl is really hot!) ...

God bless the one that subs these parts...As in all Brazilian soaps, there are A LOT of dialogues (people talk, and talk, and talk ...)

This videos are great, I only started watching this novela last week so I didn't know much about the characters (aside from the fact that Roni is suposed to be a gay). I like that they are portraing Roni as a "regular kid", not following the usual stereotypes brazilian soaps tend to follow, as well as the fact that he has other storylines that do not focus on his sexuality.

On a side note, I guess Suellen knows Roni is gay (or at least has some sort of suspicion)... on the "Part 3" video (on the 4:36 mark) she teases him saying: "what's up, Roni? Helping out your new little friend? He is so innocent, isn't he? So unprotected! Really cute, huh!? But don't you worry... he's not really my type!" and then, when Roni threw his drink on her, she later calls him a "enrustido" on her way to the bathroom. "Enrustido" is a brazilian slang for a gay guy who is still on the closet.

So out of the parts I understood, Suelen was being kicked out of her place for not paying rent, so she went with Ronnie and had a deal with them, the Dad told her to name a price for the pictures, and she said it wolud be very cheap. (yeah right!) she said she would need a room, and now Leandro is going to be sleeping in the same room with Ronnie

And at the end, they were surprised Suellen knows how too cook. And Ronnie is not happy at all about her staying there.

I love how Suelen says that she want to stay in Leandro's room "because he gives really good feet massages". Then when Roni and Leandro agree to share a room together, Suellen teases Roni telling him to ask for a feet massage from Leandro cause he would love it. haha

A troca de farpas entre Suelen (Isis Valverde) e Roni (Daniel Rocha) está cada vez mais intensa. Enquanto almoçam junto com Diógenes (Otávio Augusto) e Leandro (Thiago Martins), a periguete se insinua para o jogador, aumentando a irritação de Roni.
“Não acredito que tu pegou a vadia de novo!”, comenta Roni, irritado com o amigo, enquanto Suelen está na cozinha. Leandro até tenta negar, mas acaba confessando: “Pô, irmão, desculpa! A carne é fraca. E ninguém segura essa mulher quando ela quer, brother!”, alega o rapaz.
Suelen volta para a sala a tempo de mandar um beijinho de despedida para Leandro, que sai de casa acompanhado por Diógenes. Quando fica a sós, ela faz questão de alfinetar Roni: “Fica com ciúmes de mim com o Leandro, não, bobo. Não é nada. Se você quiser, posso até te ajudar a pegar ele. Quer?”, pergunta a moça, debochada.
Roni diz que não está entendendo a gracinha. “Claro que eu sou homem! Tá louca?”, garante ele. Abusada, Suelen parte para cima e tenta seduzi-lo, mas ele resiste bravamente: “Não é porque eu sou homem que eu vou ser molestado sexualmente dentro da minha própria casa!”.
E agora, será que Suelen tem razão e Roni realmente está apaixonado por Leandro? Essa cena vai ao ar nesta terça-feira, 24 de abril. Fique ligado!

"The exchange of barbs between Suelen and Roni is increasingly intense. While having lunch with Diogenes and Leandro, the girl keeps hitting on Leandro, increasing Roni's irritation.
"I do not believe you took that bitch again!" Says Roni, angry with the friend while Suelen is in the kitchen. Leandro even try to deny it, but ends up confessing: "Gee, brother, sorry! The flesh is weak. And nobody stops this woman when she wants it, brother! ", says the boy.
Suelen's back to the room in time to send a farewell kiss to Leandro, who leaves home accompanied by Diogenes. When they're alone, she starts to pick on Roni: "are you jealous of me with Leandro, silly? It's nothing. If you want I can even help you get him. You want him? "Asks the girl, mocking.
Roni says he does not understand the joke. "Of course I am a man! Are you crazy?" he assures. Then, Suelen tries to seduce him, but he resists bravely: "Not because I'm a man I'll be sexually harassed in my own house"

Now, is Suelen right and Roni is really in love with Leandro? This scene will air this Tuesday, April 24. Stay tuned!"

Well, it seems Suelen is sure (we don't know why) that Roni is gay. I didn't notice any strong gay vibe yet, so having Suelen mentioning that Roni is jealous because he wants Leandro is the soap (convenient : way of bringing up the subject without having to give the audience the proper indications/signals . That's how I see it

Anyway, let's see what happens next

It seems the people there in that neighbourhood know each other very well. So a young boy that don't seem to be aroused for any girl, don't talk about how hot is some girl and is always around the boys is suspect. Suellen would know Roni never showed himself as straight, 'cause she's always provoking the guys, so she would know Roni is the only one that don't show reactions to her. Can't deny she's hot as hell (not as hot as Roni, sure), so he denying her is a big deal. Plus, she may have a perfect gaydar.

According to the soap, there is no doubt that Roni is/will be gay, but his storyline is still far from being considered a gay themed one. Up to this point, we can presume Roni is gay only based on what Suelen said (that he doesn't like her because he's interested in Leandro), and on the fact that Roni doesn't seem to feel attracted to girls . Just presumptions, no strong evidence.

But it's a fact that sooner or later there will be a gay storyline

I'm very intrigued to see how the gay factor will be introduced (and how it's gonna play) in the context of what we're seeing at the moment

These videos are fun to watch, even without subtitles. Partly because their expressions are so animated, and partly because the guys in it are so hot. Of course, subtitles would be nice of course.

I'm interested to see how much of a romance they will show between Roni and his potential boyfriend. So far we've barely had any indications of homosexuality in Roni. He is however really gorgeous.

So far, I haven't seen any indication whatsoever that Roni might be gay; I wouldn't have guessed he is homosexual hadn't the soap clearly pointed it out on its web-site ...Let's see how the subject is introduced in future episodes

Geez, Sidney has "bad boy" written all over . Super-hot, nevertheless I really hope he's Roni's potential lover
