Well, I can put my doubts to rest if we get any hints after Will/Gabi first-time sex. I am disappointed that they are heading in that direction. I can't believe Will would sleep with a girl (it's her first time too, right?) when he isn't absolutely sure. Poor Gabi. But on a shallow note, Will should be shirtless again in two weeks. I will enjoy Will/Sonny's baseball game interaction - I guess we will just see them afterward though and not at the game.

I agree. I think it's totally cliché, and they really didn't need to go that route, yet they do.. sigh. I just think it's totally unnecessary. Yes, gays have sex with women before they come out. Well, SOME do, but not everyone. But as a soap, maybe they needed to do it, for Gabi to be even more heartbroken and upset when Will comes out, because a girl's virginity is always important to her. So the coming out will probably be more emotional now since they had sex. That is the only positive thing I can think of from them having sex. But yeah, I have to admit that I am disappointed too. Not surprised, I knew they might go there. But I am disappointed.

I'm still not sure Will is the gay one either

I've just posted this stuff in the Spoilers thread, but for discussion purposes:

TV Guide reports that, on August 9th, Will ignores Rafe's advice.
SOW writes that Will/Gabi have sex, and Sami/Rafe contemplate having a child together.

I am so glad Dena Higley is OUT, because I can see where this is going otherwise. (Well, assuming Corday had the good sense to axe this.) I really don't need to see Sami & Rafe raising her grandchild/his niece or nephew! Show, DO NOT MAKE GABI PREGNANT! Oy! Will is smarter than that! He knows the pitfalls of teen parents from his own childhood

And I fear Rafe's advice, which Will ignores, is going to be "don't do it with my little sis unless you're absolutely sure".

Yeah. I agree. I'll seriously considering to stop watching if Gabi ends up being pregnant. It's so stupid. Will would NEVER do the same mistakes his mom did. It's so out of character and unrealistic too imo.

Gabi getting pregnant is laughable at best. Considering Will's history with his parents I'm pretty sure he will be condomed up.

BTW, the fact that we have a spoiler saying that Sonny and Will are going to a game together should give people some comfort. There would be no point to devoting precious screen time to that if it wasn't significant.

And to answer why YES they do go to the ballgame the week of the 1st and Will sleeps with Gabi the the week of the 8th.

I just said to a friend that I think it will probably either be that or, if they want to make it like Will isn't quite in touch with his own feelings, it could be that spending time with Sonny puts him in the mood but he doesn't make the connection in his own mind that Sonny, and not Gabi, is the reason why.

I believe what will happen at the baseball game is that Will and Sonny will have a great time and Will be drawn to Sonny.Because I believe that Will will be drawn to Sonny because of how confident Sonny is with his sexuality.I think there will be talk maybe Will will ask how Sonny deals with peoples reaction toward him.And I also believe that is when Will will start to have feelings and who knows when Gabby and Will are making love.Maybe it's Sonny that is on Wills mind just saying!!!! ;D

LMAO! Soaps sometimes show straight couples imagining someone else while they're making love to their partner. It's NEVER going to happen until daytime starts treating gay couples the same way, but it would be hilarious (and hot) if Will is kissing/sexing up Gabi and he imagines Sonny in her place. (I guess the sex could only work if Will's on top ... but I have the feeling not.)

Cuz they've had the actor who is playing Will for two years now. And that was way before a gay storyline was mentioned or ever thought of.

I thought they got rid of Dylan cuz he wasn't cutting it in the role.

As for wanting them to be paired up with the quickness, that is insane. No gay coupling on any soap I have ever seen got together like that. Even when we knew who was going to eventually fall for the other.

The gay storyline was rumored in the last part of 2009 a week after it was reported that Dylan was let go and beging replaced by Chandler.The reason why it was reported that Dylan was let go was because it was said that they wanted to take Will in a new direction.No there were rumors saying they let Dylan go because they asked him to cut his hair and he said no.But I read to many places were backstage people were saying Dylan was very upset about Will beging gay and that he wanted it to be somebody else.So when they hired Chandler they asked him.Would he be ok playing Will as gay?And he said yes.
