The tone on this forum is so negative lately, like for the past year it's just folks being super aggressive and argumentative and there's just no joy in watching the show, exploring the characters or the storylines at all. I don't expect everyone to agree. But when folks are so entrenched in their views that they can't even entertain a different point of views it's just uncomfortable and not every exciting. There is only some many times and ways someone can say the same thing over again.

I just miss a time when this thread was more folks responding to each days scenes and less arguing about contracts and the actors and people being so staunch and unrelenting.
I've been actively involved on this forum for over 10 years and I've never seen such ongoing hostility (yes there has been SOME hostility but not JUST hostility all the time) regarding a storyline.

Sigh...

Obviously folks can say what they want but I just wonder why some folks come here if they don't actually want to hear other folks' perspectives. I'm saying something because I wonder if other folks feel the same way or if folks just don't care.

I may not like every single storyline or actor or character but I'm still acutely aware of how phenomenal and unique it is to have a U.S. daytime soap with more than 2 gay characters on to fight about (characters at the forefront who we actually see regularly and who are central to multiple plots).

I just miss the fun of being excited about what's going to happen to character and I don't get the bitterness and anger.

Gosh, could this SL move any slower and be any less engaging.

No offence to Greg Rikaart fans, but he is completely miscast for this role. He's too old to be talking about student loans and sneaking up to bedrooms and there is no chemistry whatsoever between him and Freddie Smith. Meanwhile why does Vivian have to hide behind a bush or a pillar every single time Leo and Sonny speak? Instead of being funny it just comes across as ridiculous, especially if they are trying to give the impression they don't know each other. Not to mention Vivian's habit of shrieking at the top of her voice that Leo must have sex with Sonny. It's a miracle that it took Paul this long to catch them out.

And surely it would have been better for Sonny and Leo to actually have a proper relationship before dropping the bomb on us that Leo was working for Vivian. Right now, Leo's claims that he and Sonny 'made love' and have 'a real connection', when in actual fact they only drank coffee together twice and hit the sheets once, just sound dumb. But then again he isn't the only one sounding dumb. Adrienne's behaving as if Leo and Sonny were on the verge of getting married and Justin thought it reasonable for Leo to give up his livelihood after only two dates and one night. At the same time it's impossible to get invested in the pairing when we all know that Leo is no more than a cheap and nasty trick.

It also isn't exactly clear what Vivian's grand plan actually is. Blackmail? An accusation of sexual harassment? Hard to prove when Leo happily spent the night in the Kiriakis mansion and has been seen by more than one person on dates with Sonny. And it isn't as if other people in town aren't doing the same thing. Hope, the commissioner, just married one of her detectives, Lani was going out with work colleague, JJ and then got knocked up by another work colleague, Eli.

It's equally hard to swallow Adrienne happily eating dinner and drinking wine with Will. Amnesia or not, Will hurt Sonny badly when he filed for divorce in order to live life as a single gay man with Paul and it wasn't the first time. The old Adrienne would have wanted to tear Will limb from limb not sit around praising him. And how has it taken the local press this long to get interested in the fact that Will Horton returned from the dead?

It's just as frustrating that Will's complete amnesia continues to be brushed aside. Adrienne is literally the only person who mentions it. Will's had no problem with it and even turned down Marlena's offer of therapy. So it's odd to hear him suddenly claim that Susan 'robbed me of my life.' Up to this point Will has claimed to be happy, so happy he's had no time, or inclination to mourn his old life, or even think about his currently motherless child. It's left to Sonny to care for her and to worry about what to tell her about Gabi.

Heaven forbid it carries on like this beyond May sweeps.

When Rod started writing for Days I was happy because I was a fan of his One Life to Live and General Hospital. But his Days of Our Lives is boring IMO. I see people don't really post here that regularly maybe that part of the reason. I have been a lurker on this forum for about ten years since Christian and olli.

One thing I always heard is that if they brought Will back we would see the gay characters more well since December the gays have been on-screen two times a week on average and that about the same it was during Paulson relationship so that argument is gone. Will, Sonny and Paul feel like recurring characters not front burner characters to me. I don't know why Will isn't seen on-screen with his family more shouldn't that be part of his story reconnecting with his family not just Paul. 

I'm not happy with the show and I mean the whole show not just the gay characters. I have been watching DOOL since 1994. I was watching when Will was conceived and born so I am no newbie to soap operas or this show.

I feel the same way. It's an effort to actually get through an episode. There are almost no SLs that are of interest, or if they are the pacing is off, the characters are behaving out of character, or too underdeveloped to be interesting and the writing woeful. On top of that there are only a handful of sets, people have business meetings, illicit meetings, dates and arguments in the HTS and Steve and Kayla appear to live in the pub alongside John and Marlena. It's obviously down to budget constraints but it's just one more negative thing.

Having RC on board might have increased the audience figures for now but I can't see it remaining that way for the future and neither can TPTB which is why they keep bringing back Alison Sweeney for short over the top visits. And I wouldn't be surprised if at some point EJ or even Bo turn up.

As for the gays only being on once a week, there isn't enough story to merit them being on more frequently. How many times a week can we watch Will and Paul sit in their bedsit and talk about Sonny? How many times can we see Sonny arguing with Brady about who would make the better CEO? And how many times must we now watch Vivian goading the one dimensional and frankly boring Leo to have sex with Sonny?

Will's amnesia should have been a front burner story which involved the members of both the Horton and Brady families. Will should have been seen struggling to remember, struggling to get his old life back and frustrated when that proved impossible, which is when he should have been drawn to Paul. And that should have been a gradual thing which in turn should have divided his friends and family, especially when it came to Will's decision to seek a divorce. Instead we got Will spending five minutes with his family, five minutes in the mansion with Sonny and then breaking his neck to move into a bedsit with Paul. A man he had no real history with, other than a roll in the hay and seeing as no one but Sonny had a problem with it, it provided no real story.

Right now there isn't even the promised tangled love triangle, as, after only five minutes, Sonny has supposedly moved on with Leo who isn't even a convincing conman. If this is all the writers had to offer it makes me wonder why they went to the trouble of bringing Will back at all.

A failed ratings stunt, and because of those fans who insisted that Guy Wilson was the reason the Will story failed. They thought they just had to bring Chandler back and not make any effort with the rest.

I'm not surprised that the return and the story are a flop. I wouldn't expect anything else out of Ron Carlivati, one of the most overrated soap writers around. He failed at OLTL and at GH and he has failed here. At least his continued obsession with trying to make something hot out of DID and sexual abuse storylines don't involve gay characters. That's the best I can say.

Today's episode

Paul is working on his computer while Will is just waking up. Will jokes that it doesn't sound like Paul making breakfast in bed. Paul says when he solves the case for Kate he'll make pancakes. Paul tells Will he saw Vivian with Leo. Neither understands why. Paul kisses Will and then turns back to the computer. Will smiles at Paul.

In HTS, Leo gives Sonny his usual coffee drink. Leo says it's what assistants do.

Will and Paul talk more about Paul seeing Leo with Vivian. Paul is going to find something solid before going back to Kate. Paul and Will start to hve sex before Paul leaves for work.

Sonny tells Leo he only needs an assistant at the office. Leo has papers Sonny left in the office. Sonny wants to pay for his own coffee. Leo says he took the coffee money out of petty cash. He has some things for Sonny to e-sign on his tablet.

Paul & Will in bed after sex. Will tells Paul about what Adrienne wants him to write about- and that he has to find another source to learn about the drug. Paul says what about Susan? Will says he thinks Susan too fragile to talk. Will tells Paul that Kate suggested the father of the guy who killed him might know something.

Paul tells Will that Clyde is a total lunatic and he's not signing off on this-he's too dangerous. Paul talks to Will about the article he wrote about Clyde previously. Paul says he doesn't want to lose Will again?? Paul calls himself one of Will's "loved ones"??

Sonny signs some more things for Leo and asks if there is anything else. Leo tells him one last thing and fixes Sonny's tie. They're close but no kiss.

Will reads the Clyde article. He says Paul was right and talks about what a sleaze Clyde is. It says a lot that Kate dated him.

Vivian and Kate are taunting each other when Kate gets business call & leaves room. Vivian sends a text.

Paul is in the HTS and spies Leo is still with Sonny who thanks him for help with his wardrobe. Sonny heads to work and Leo sees that Vivian wants to see him again. He heads off with Paul watching him.

Paul loses sight of Leo at the park. Leo suddenly appears and asks why Paul is following him.

Will calls the prison and says he is a reporter who wants to arrange a meeting with prisoner Clyde Weston.

My thoughts

These scenes just felt like fillers. They were also odd. Will and Paul discuss Leo possibly being in cahoots with Vivian but express no concern for what it might mean for Sonny. I guess it's now clear that neither of them could care less about Sonny.

Will tells Paul about Clyde and Paul then talks about losing Will again. Did Paul forget that at the time of Will's death, Will hated him and that he, Paul had stood on Will's grave wanting to know if he and Sonny had a future?

Paul tells Will that Clyde is dangerous. Will reads that Clyde is dangerous but still makes an appointment to see Clyde. Why does Will believe that Clyde will speak to him? Why would Clyde know anything at all about Rolfe's drugs? And if he did why would he tell Will?

Do the writers want us to think that Paul is incompetent? First he gets sprung by the ISA guy and now by Leo.

I'm not even going to waste time on the Sonny and Leo stuff. We know Leo is a sleaze who is being paid to sex up Sonny so there is no way to get invested in this 'relationship.'

On the one hand we're being told that Will only slept with Paul for a byline. But now we have Paul talking as if he and Will were involved back then. Completely confusing hence the question marks.

You're not the only one getting bored, the last viewing figures were abysmal, so none of the current SLs are cutting it where it counts.

On top of that, even with two gay pairings, Days lost out to the Bold and Beautiful at the GLAAD Awards. That about says everything that needs to be said.

Today's episode

Paul is still at the entrance to the park. Leo appears and asks why Paul followed him.

Paul denies following Leo. Leo insists Paul was indeed tailing him. Paul calls Leo paranoid. Leo says he thought Paul and Sonny had broken up. Paul says this is about Vivian and Leo.

Vivian is in the pub nursing a Bloody Mary. She looks at her phone in annoyance.

Paul flat out asks Leo about seeing him talking to Vivian.

Leo claims it was just a random chat with a lady. Paul insists on knowing what's up because he is concerned Vivian is not ready to bury the hatchet with her former enemies.

Leo tells Paul that Vivian found out about him working for Titan. Paul wonders how that worked with Sonny. Leo says Sonny broke up with him. Leo says Vivian probably wants to bring down Sonny's family and he would appreciate it if Paul stopped following him. Leo also says that if Vivian approaches him again he'll go to Sonny.

Vivian meets up with Leo outside the pub and he fills her in about Paul questioning him. Leo thinks Paul is still suspicious.

Paul sends a text to Kate telling her that he has information about Vivian.

Today's episode

At the mansion, Sonny answers the door to Will. Will explains he has come to talk to Adrienne about work and he has brought some things for Ari. Sonny explains that Adrienne is at the Spectator office and Ari is asleep. Sonny congratulates Will about the new job but Will confesses that he is nervous about it.

Sonny tells Will that he knows about the assignment he has been given and asks where Will plans to start his research. Will says he's going to interview Clyde. Sonny says Will can't do that.

At the same time, Leo tries to reach Vivian about something to do with Sonny.

Will is confused why Sonny doesn't think its good idea for him to interview Clyde. Sonny thinks it's a risk to interview Clyde even from behind bars. Will admits that's pretty much what Paul said and then quickly apologises. Sonny says it's okay. He knows Will and Paul are in a relationship and he is okay with it.

Sonny tells Will he doesn't trust Clyde. Will says Paul told him that Clyde stabbed Sonny. Will apologises again. Sonny tells Will that he can say his boyfriend's name. Will says he doesn't see Paul as that yet and admits he feels awkward talking about Paul with Sonny knowing he'd probably be with Sonny if he had his memory.

Sonny tells Will that Clyde is dangerous, not only physically, but with his head games as well. Will says Susan is still too fragile to approach because, according to Roger, she is still attached to Will. Sonny wants Will to be safe because he still cares about him. Will says he still cares about Sonny too.

Sonny tells Will it's good to know he cares but he is not concerned about being led on. He is making progress. He doesn't think about Will all day and he doesn't feel the old longing. He just wants Will to be happy. Will wants Sonny to be happy too.

Sonny says he has more empathy for Will now regarding him having no memories of the love he had from his family. Will appreciates Sonny saying that and says he feels the same empathy for Sonny. Sonny says he knows Will sees him as complete stranger.

Will says he was proud that Sonny had wanted to share his life with him. Sonny feels same about Will. Will proposes that when time has passed maybe they can be friends. Sonny agrees. Ari appears and says she had a nightmare. She want Mommy to come back from her business trip. Will tells Sonny it might time to tell Ari the truth.

Sonny, Will and Ari sit on the floor in the foyer. Sonny tells Ari that her mommy misses her but can't be home soon. Will says Mommy loves drawings & wishes she could read Ari stories and tuck her in. Ari sadly says "I miss her" Sonny suggests that Ari say an extra prayer asking for Mommy to come home soon

Ari asks if Gabi is okay. Will tells her of course and puts her on his lap.

Sonny and Will head down the stairs. Sonny thanks Will for helping with Ari who is happier with both daddies and the new stuff Will brought over. Sonny wishes he had told Ari about Gabi being away for a long time from the start. Sonny is sure Justin and Rafe will figure something out for Gabi. Will hopes so too but promises he will be there if they can't.

Sonny opens the door to see Will out and finds Leo on the doorstep. Sonny says the night is full of surprises and asks Leo why he is there. Leo claims he is doing his job as Sonny has a meeting at 8:30am. Sonny wants Leo to stop making excuses. Leo accuses Will of telling Sonny about him and Vivian. Sonny is clearly confused.

Leo wanted Sonny to hear about Vivian from him but it looks as if it is too late. Sonny says Will has said nothing. Leo tells Sonny that he was approached by Vivian who has it in for Titan.

(While this is going on, Gabi is having the crap beaten out of her by an inmate with a grudge)

Thanks so much Elliot. I’m glad to see that Sonny is getting over Will and hope he gets completely over him. As for Leo, he needs to leave already, he’s a useless character.

Poor Gabi, hope this will be over for her soon.

Today's episode

Will goes into Gabi's prison infirmary room. Gabi is asleep. Gabi wakes up and sees Will. Will apologises for waking her. Gabi is worried that something is wrong with Arianna. Will assures her that Arianna is all right. Will explains he is there to interview a prisoner but was given permission to see Gabi. Gabi admits that everything still hurts. Will tells her that she is safe in the infirmary. Gabi tells Will that Abby has lost her mind.

Leo is outside the Kiriakis mansion leaving Vivian another phone message. He assumes that he is still supposed to seduce Sonny, who Leo says is as hot as he is stubborn. Sonny opens the door and Leo says he needs Sonny's signature for a contract. Sonny is not happy that Leo has come to the mansion again but he lets him in.

Sonny signs the papers and Leo says he'll send them out later tonight. He adds that the company sent Sonny a box of chocolates. Sonny says Leo should put them in the staff kitchen at the office but then apologises for being rude.

Sonny mentions Gabi being attacked in prison and that he is worried about Arianna. Leo says that Sonny hides his feelings well and that he respects how Sonny has been able to concentrate on business. Leo then says that Sonny doesn't have to hide his feelings from him.

Will tells Gabi he has heard the entire story and that he wishes he could do something. Will suggests that he will try to ask the Spectator source at the Salem PD to get more information about Gabi's case. Gabi is grateful.

Will speaks to someone on the phone and learns that no one at the Salem PD is interested in sharing anything about Abby with the press. Gabi is very annoyed. Will assures her that he'll stay on it and let her know about anything he finds out. Gabi is upset and says she is missing Arianna. Will says he and Sonny are working to support Arianna. He is positive Gabi will come home to Arianna like he did.

Sonny's discussion with Leo is overheard by Arianna who appears in the sitting room and wants to know what happened to her mommy.

Gabi is bitter about being in prison for a crime she didn't commit. Will says he will stay on the story. Gabi tells Will that every day she is in there is a day she misses from Arianna's life. Will tells Gabi that he and Sonny are doing their best to make Arianna feel loved and secure. Gabi says she knows this and is grateful.

Sonny asks Arianna why she is out of bed so late. Arianna wants to know what happened to her mommy. Sonny struggles with what to tell her. Leo jumps in and says he was sent by Arianna's mommy to deliver a box of chocolates to her. Arianna asks if she can have one now and is clearly happier.

Gabi tells Will she is happy that both Will and Sonny are in Arianna's life. She wonders if Will and Sonny will get back together as they are spending all this time together. Will says it is not going to happen as he has moved on. Gabi points out, 'with the guy that Sonny was going to marry' Will says he and Paul are happy. Gabi says that Will and Sonny were happy too. Will says he wishes that he remembered that. Gabi says that Sonny wishes that too, but that she hopes that Sonny will also find someone. Will agrees but is clearly concerned about Sonny being with Leo. Will says he thinks it is a good idea that Sonny is not mixing business with pleasure where Leo is concerned. Will tells Gabi that there is a red flag where Leo is concerned and that he thinks Leo is working with Vivian.

Gabi and Will talk more about Leo and his possible connection to Vivian. They both agree that as long as they share a daughter with Sonny they need to look out for him.

Kate asks Paul about the information he said he had on Vivian and Leo

Paul tells Kate that Leo claims innocence where Vivian is concerned but that he is not sure he believes him. Kate says she wants Paul to keep investigating because Vivian told her to stop snooping and that can only mean there are more things to find.

Sonny has put Arianna back to bed and thanks Leo for his help adding that Leo is a pretty cool liar.

Viv is at the hospital. She receives text messages from Leo and texts him back.

Will tells Gabi he will let her get some sleep but promises that he will let her know everything that he learns. He says goodbye and leaves

Paul tells Kate about Leo an says he is Sonny's type and it is almost as if he was custom picked. Kate remembers seeing Vivian with Leo in the foyer.

Sonny says he is sad that Arianna is going through this. Leo says that Arianna is lucky to have Sonny. Leo and Sonny get close but then Leo says he will get the papers handled & leaves.

Today's episode

Paul at Will's door. Will opens it wearing a towel as he's just had a shower. Paul says it has been almost 24 hours since they saw each other and that it is not necessary for Will to get dressed. Will's towel comes off. The two start kissing and head to the bed.

Sonny enters the living room at the Kiriakis mansion. Leo is there. Sonny gives Leo some papers to take to work

Leo is flirty with Sonny as he asks if there is anything else. Sonny says he will see him later. Leo goes to leave but has left his phone behind. Sonny stops him and then tsays "what's this" as he looks at Leo's phone

Vivian and Kate are at the Dimera mansion squaring off. Vivian says she has got a good lawyer for Stefan so he will stay out of jail. Vivian is annoyed that Kate is threatening to reveal that she and Andre were planning to indulge in corporate espionage. Vivian tells Kate she has nothing on her. They were both drunk when Vivian spilled the beans. Kate says she knows lots of other secrets such as Vivian's involvement with Leo.

Sonny asks Leo if his screen saver is one of his paintings. Leo confirms it is. Sonny thinks that Leo is very talented.

Leo is self effacing about Sonny's praise. Sonny continues the praise. Leo invites Sonny to his place to see more of his work in person. Sonny says he wishes he could but it wouldn't be appropriate. Sonny then asks Leo to grab lunch with him, as there is nothing inappropriate about a boss taking his assistant to lunch.

Will and Paul lie in bed. Paul has related about finding Marlena, Vivian and Kate in the Dimera locked room. Will calls Paul a superhero. Will then says he has managed to get information about Rolf from Clyde. Will says that Clyde didn't have the exact formula of the life saving drug but Rolf did have a diary so Will wants to get his hands on that. Paul and Will consider having lunch but start kissing instead.

Kate reminds Vivian about Leo and bringing down Titan. Vivian tries to bluff away her connection with Leo but then Leo enters the room saying, "Hey, boss, I got your text"

Will and Paul are sitting in the HTS. Will tells Paul that he ran into Leo at the Kiriakis mansion but that he didn't say anything to Sonny about Paul's investigation. Paul tells Will that Leo is involved with Vivian and that he needs to keep investigating as he gets a weird feeling about that guy. Sonny overhears and tells Paul to "back the hell off"

Kate tells Vivian she's going to call Sonny and then she will call the police. Leo wants to go, but K says "not so fast, my pretty"

Vivian admits trying to connect with Victor who turned her down. She then decided to retaliate. Kate says Sonny was the initial attack point. Vivian explains about arranging to set up Leo with Sonny. Leo tells that Sonny broke things off right away and that no harassment suit is now possible.

Sonny tells Paul about hiring Leo and shares how great he is and that he saved the day with Arianna. Will tells Sonny that Paul is just doing his job. Sonny insists that Leo would have nothing to do with Vivian.

Leo is allowed to leave the Dimera mansion. Kate tells Vivian she wouldn't let her take down Titan as she doesn't want Victor's demise if it means a win for Vivian. Vivian offers to cut Kate in.

Paul tells Sonny he's sorry he upset him. Leo appears and asks Sonny if he is ready to eat. Sonny says yes and they leave. Paul tells Will he hopes Leo is as good a guy as Sonny thinks he is. Will agrees as he doesn't want Sonny to get hurt.

Leo says Sonny it must feel weird to see his exes together but that Sonny can now move on. They kiss.

Vivian suggests to Kate that, as Victor's ex-wives, they should work side by side to ruin Titan. Vivian wants to shake on it as partners but Kate doesn't respond.

Today's episode

Will walks down the hall to his room with Paul. Will mentions the great place they had dinner. Paul kisses Will. They enter Will's room and find Roger waiting.

Roger says he not sure how much Susan knows about the reality of what she did. Her docs say she is severely depressed. Roger says he came to talk to Will about Dr. Rolf. He explains that he asked Susan about Rolfe. Will gets upset about Roger talking to Susan and she is too fragile. Roger admits that Susan started yelling and crying and then shut down.

Will thanks Roger for trying but he still wishes he hadn't dragged Susan into it again. Paul tells Roger he is glad he came. Roger says he had thought there was more and, after going through some boxes at home, he found Rolf's diary. He hands it to Will

Will asks Roger if he read it. Roger says the personal stuff got too much for him as Rolfe went on and on about being in love with Susan. Will assures Roger that Rolfe was delusional and obsessed with Susan. Paul thinks the diary will be full of demented ramblings and he is not sure it will be useful.

Roger tells Will he'll have to separate fact from fiction. Will says he's up to it. Roger wishes him luck.

Will thanks Roger for coming all this way. Roger wanted an excuse to see him and is sorry things didn't work out for him and his husband. Will says things worked out for the best as he is now with Paul. Roger is happy for Will if he's happy. Will confirm that he is happy. Roger tells Paul he's lucky. Paul says he knows

Roger is glad Will can be who he really is. Roger and Will hug goodbye; Roger asks Will to let him know if finds something in diary; Roger leaves. Will starts to read Rolf's diary. Paul looks concerned.

Paul and Will sit on the bed reading the diary. They note there are many alternate blank pages. Rolf clearly had a huge ego. Princess Gina is mentioned and Will and Paul talk about all the things Rolfe did for Stefano DiMera and that Rolfe clearly worshipped him. Rolfe mentions something he was trying and Will's name appears.

Paul asks Will if he really wants to read the part about him. Will insists that he's fine. Rolf describes how Will looked when he was found. Paul tells Will it's okay if he doesn't want to continue reading. Will knows what's on the pages can give people life and a second chance on love. Paul tells Will that he's a good man.

Rolf recalls seeing Will bleeding but stable. He also recounts giving Will something to make him appear dead while waiting for him to be taken to the morgue. Will can't carry on reading and Paul takes over. Rolf describes bringing Will back to life. Paul notes that Rolf talks about previous recovery.

Will and Paul continue reading about everything that happened to Will. Will says P was right, it makes him feel frustrated & disturbed. Will is upset that there is nothing about the drug. Paul suggests they keep looking.

Paul finds something about Will on the last page. Rolf says now that his drug worked on Will who knows who else might be brought back to life.

At the same time someone in surgical clothing injects Vivian's body.

Thank you fir posting the recap Elliott very disappointed that all this story about Will’s past should be shared with Sonny but I digress since everything is about Paul. I actually sick of them.

Sonny and Will are no longer together. They weren't together at the time Will was murdered. There is no guarantee that Will regaining his memory of his previous life will automatically make him change his mind about how he feels now. A LOT has happened to Will since he was murdered. He has literally lived another life for many years and now he has all these new experiences and memories that are not about his past.

I'm not saying Will won't ever remember (obviously that is what folks want) but remembering doesn't necessarily change where he and Sonny are right now. They are divorced so it makes sense that Will isn't confiding in Sonny about his investigation. Sonny needs time to get over his feelings for Will and hope that Will and he will reunite. Plus I think Sonny has more important things directly effecting his life to focus on right now.

As for Paul and Will, they have forged an entirely new relationship. It might or might not last but it is just as valid and any relationship either of them has had before.

Today's episode

Leo reads his tablet and learns that Vivian is dead. Sonny appears and says that they have to talk about what has happened.

Leo is stressed about what Sonny is about to say, however Sonny says he isn't mad about that kiss. He let his guard down because he had just run into Will and Paul. He apologizes for having crossed the line. Leo tells Sonny that he doesn't have to apologise because he let the kiss happen too. He assures Sonny that it won't happen again. Leo's phone rings and he answers it.

It's Kate. She demands that Leo get over to her house right now. Leo makes up an excuse to Sonny and leaves.

Lucas knocks on Will's door and Paul answers. Lucas wanted to talk to both of them and then tells Will and Paul about what happened with Kate and Vivian. Lucas tells Paul it was an accident and that Kate won't be charged. Will has to go to work and leaves.

Paul tells Lucas that Kate hired him to investigate Vivian but that he is now out of a job.

Lucas says maybe not. He wants to talk to Paul and suggests they go out to breakfast.

Kate looks at the stain on the floor and imagines she hears gunshot again. Leo appears and sees Vivian blood. Kate tells Leo he has lost his meal ticket. She also says she won't tell Sonny about Vivian cause she's taking over the plan.

Will is at Sonny's office. He says he has just learned at work that Abby killed Andre. Sonny is shocked and wants to know if Will is sure. Will says he got it from the Spectator and it is confirmed. Will says that at least Gabi can now go free. He wants to know if Sonny wants them to give Ari the good news together. Sonny thanks Will for coming to tell him in person as it means a lot.

Leo asks Kate why she wants to take over Vivian's plan. Kate doesn't know how things will shake out with Stefan and Chad now that Vivian is dead she needs her own power base. Kate thinks a sexual harassment suit against Titan will suit her purpose. Leo says he likes Sonny and turns to leave.

Kate tells Leo she will turn him in unless he agrees to work for her.

Will tells Sonny he also wanted to apologise for having suggested that Vivian hired Leo. Will also apologizes for all Sonny has been through mostly because of Will. Will says if Sonny ever wants to have lunch then he can text him. Sonny says he usually eats his lunch at his desk. Will leaves and Sonny seems quite happy.

At the HTS, Lucas tells Paul he wants to know for sure about what really happened with Chloe and her leaving. Paul says he is going to help and they discuss where to start.

Leo tells Kate she's as cutthroat as Vivian. Kate says she's alive and that she is more cutthroat than Vivian. Kate tells Leo they're done and sends him back to Sonny's office.

Leo is back at Sonny's office. He says he picked up coffee but there was a long line. Sonny tells Leo that Will stopped by and won't be accusing him of working for Vivian anymore. Leo asks Sonny if he is OK since seeing Will shakes him up. Leo offers to let Sonny talk whenever he needs to.

Kate sees Victor on the bench by the park entrance. Victor tells Kate he owes her for having rid the world of Vivian. Kate tells Victor he'll find way to repay her one day.

Leo touches Sonny's hand but then pulls it away. Leo then starts setting up dates.

When Sonny is not looking, Leo fake spills coffee down his shirt. Sonny says he has a spare shirt that he keeps at work and offers to lend it to Leo. Leo takes off his shirt as Sonny watches.

Sonny in the office with Leo. They are looking for Sonny's phone.

Leo tells Sonny take to take a break and he'll continue looking for his phone. Leo fixes his tie as Sonny leaves office. Leo then closes the door & locates a phone which is recording. He rewinds the recording to the point where he took his shirt off.

Sonny visits pub. Jack, is behind bar. Sonny has come to pick up an order. Jack says it'll take a few minutes so Sonny grabs a beer. They chat about Sonny meeting Leo on the app. Sonny reveals he ended things with Leo because he is an employee. Jack is sorry to hear that as he can tell Sonny didn't actually want to end things.

In the office Leo uses Sonny's phone to send himself sexy texts. He then deletes them from Sonny's phone history.

Leo is on the phone with Kate. He tells what he has. Kate wants to know when Leo is going to sleep with Sonny. Leo says he doesn't want to rush it. Kate has an idea

At the pub, Sonny still talks to Jake. He confirms that dating employees at Titan is a strict no-go. Sonny admits he is attracted to Leo especially as he sees his ex-husband & ex-fiance getting closer. Sonny asks for a bacon burger. Jack says it's no substitute for what Sonny really wants. He tries to convinces Sonny that being the boss should have advantages.

Sonny returns to the office. Leo says he found his phone. Sonny and Leo briefly touch hands as the phone is handed over. Sonny tries to get back to work but Leo says that Sonny is pushing him away because they are both hot for each other. Leo adds that when they are together he keeps fantasising about them. Leo tells Sonny he's resigning so he no longer works at Titan. Now they can do whatever they want. They are close together and Sonny is smiling.

Leo asks if Sonny wants to give into what they both feel. Sonny wants to know if Leo is sure he wants to quit as Sonny knows he needs the money. Leo offers his letter of resignation. Sonny cuts him off and they start kissing and tearing off each other's clothes. From its hidden place the camera light can be seen blinking.

Freddie Smith signed a new contract for another year. He also made it clear he's keen to stay with Days as long as he possibly can.

Today's episode

Will is in his room and reading Rolfe's diary. He wonders why every other page is blank. He happens to spill his drink on the diary and suddenly writing appears on the blank page.

Paul turns up at Will's door. Will shows him the diary. He guesses that Rolfe used invisible ink on the blank pages. Will thinks the hidden writing must be the formula for the drug which brings people back from the dead. Will asks Paul to help him to work out the formula. Paul says he can't as he need to go to Mexico right away to find Chloe.

Will is worried about Paul going to a place which is dangerous. He thinks that John should get the ISA onto it. Paul says it is better if they go in under the radar or Chloe might be killed. Will is worried about Paul being killed and says he doesn't know what he'd do if he lost him.

Paul tells Will he's very sweet but he has to help Lucas. Will is worried about Paul going after a drug lord. Paul says he'll be back to Will in no time. Will doesn't want to make this tough for Paul but Paul makes him feel like no one else does. Paul promises Will he won't lose him and they kiss.

Will wets more pages of the diary and brings up more words. What he reads has him exclaiming, "Oh my God."

Adrienne is working in the Kiriakis sitting room. Sonny enters looking happy. He tells Adrienne that he and Leo are going to be dating because Leo quit his job. Sonny is pleased because it means that Leo wants him more than his job.

At the same time, Leo is in the park reporting to Kate. He tells her what happened at Sonny's office.

Sonny tells Adrienne that Leo knew he had to make a decision. Sonny adds that Leo is the first good thing to happen to him since Will. Adrienne cautions Sonny about taking it too seriously so soon, especially as he has been through so much lately. Sonny says it is hard to see Will and Paul together and that he doesn't want to be alone.

Sonny admits he still wishes he could be with Will and he knows if Will remembered he'd want the same. Will has walked in and hears it all. Adrienne hugs Sonny.

In the park, Kate and Leo are arguing about money. Kate insists Leo will only get paid when she is in charge of Titan. She leaves to clean out her desk at Dimera Enterprises.

Will reveals himself and explains that Henderson let him in. He is there to update Adrienne on his progress with his assignment. Sonny says he has lot of work to do. Adrienne tells Sonny she might have suggestions for an assistant and leaves the room. Will tells Sonny he's happy for him. Sonny suggests that Will and Paul go on double date with him and Leo. Sonny wants to put the past behind them, especially as they share Arianna and have to be in each other's lives. He thinks they can all become friends. Will looks sceptical and says Paul is on a dangerous case, which he is not happy about and that when he comes back they'll try to get together. Sonny says that Will can then see that Leo is a good guy.

After Sonny is gone, Will fills Adrienne in on discovering the invisible ink in the diary . Will hopes what he discovers in the diary will help him remember his life. Adrienne hopes Will remembers his life with Sonny because then he'd feel differently about Paul. Will however says he is happy with Paul but look concerned at Adrienne's words.

Sonny sees Leo in the HTS and kisses him. Sonny says he wants to help Leo find a new job.

Sonny tells Leo he needs to hand in a letter of resignation to keep everything appropriate. He then invites Leo to stay the night at the house and to bring the letter with him. Sonny then kisses Leo goodbye and leaves. Leo looks less than happy.

Leo is in the HTS at a table. Will walks up and Leo asks what he wants. Will apologizes for his earlier behaviour and explains that Sonny suggested they all go on a double date. Will also tells Leo all that Sonny said and that he wishes Leo and Sonny all the best. Leo says it is true he is not at Titan but not for the reason that Sonny tells it. Leo then offers Will the "story of the year"

Adrienne gives Sonny a registered letter. Sonny opens it and is shocked to see that Leo is suing him for sexual harassment.

Today's episode

Leo tells Will about his sex harassment case against Sonny and offers the story in return for money. Will threatens to punch Leo in the face and calls Sonny one of the most honourable people he knows. He tells Leo he's disgusting. Kate wanders up and acts shocked to had about the lawsuit Leo says he will find a more open-minded reporter and leaves. Will asks Kate what kind of scum would do this to Sonny. Kate looks innocent.

In the mansion Sonny is upset about Leo's accusation. He refuses to believe it is real until Justin shows him that Leo's signature is on the letter.

Leo on phone in the HTS Will watches him with Kate. Will is still upset and calls to tell Sonny that Leo is in the HTS. Sonny tells Will to keep Leo at the HTS as he needs to talk to him.

Justin tells Sonny not to go to see Leo but Sonny refuses to listen and runs out. Adrienne and Justin are angry and agree they can't let Leo do this to Sonny
However, Justin tells Adrienne this is a major lawsuit. Adrienne rants on about how it is impossible for Sonny to have sexually harassed anyone and how sneaky Leo has been. Justin tells her she needs to hold it together, as the complaint states that Leo has concrete evidence.

In the HTS Sonny approaches Will and insist it is a huge mistake. Will says that Leo is gloating and Sonny needs to fight back. Will offers his help if Sonny needs it. Sonny says it doesn't make sense and approaches Leo.

Will says it makes sense when you realize there are horrible people in the world. Sonny confronts Leo asking what this is all about. Leo walks away but Sonny follows.

Will tells Kate about how this kind of thing makes it harder for real sexual harassment victims. Kate doesn't want to hear it and wants a drink. Will says it is early and Kate tells him he is being self righteous and tedious. She abruptly leaves. Will is confused. Tripp appears to serve Will. Will tells him it is not like Kate to walk away from a martini. Will adds that he has learned that people in town hate Kate and for a good reason. Tripp confirms that Ciara is Will's cousin and then asks for some advice.

At the mansion, Xander says Sonny screwed up again and that Victor should've given the Titan CEO job to a real man. He also says that Sonny clearly can't keep it in his pants. Adrienne and Justin are furious. Justin threatens to go after Xander with a tyre iron if he says anything about Sonny again.

In the HTS Sonny asks Leo why he is doing this as he thought their love-making was mutual.

Kate drinks a martini at Doug's Place and tells herself that Will is right. There are horrible people in the world so it's a case of every woman for herself

In the HTS Leo claims to have told Sonny that they couldn't get together. He also claims that Sonny forced him to have sex. Sonny calls him a manipulative sociopath and says he's a Kiriakis which means Leo won't get away with this.

Will tells Tripp about his memory problems and explains why he really isn't able to help Tripp figure out what is wrong with Ciara. Will adds it means he can't tell Tripp how Ciara was when she was younger but if Tripp thinks something up he's probably right and that he should talk to Ciara again.

Leo tells Kate she's right because there's a bidding war for his story. He still wants the money that Kate promised him as it will set him up for life.

Sonny is back at the mansion and telling Adrienne he's so upset and angry at himself for being so blind. He fell for a con man he met online who wanted money because he wanted to get over Will.
