My favourite choice is: Olivia is found and Olli get's a huge crisis. Especially if she has her cell phone and they find the pictures of her and Sebastian in bed! He's suddenly a suspect! DRAMA! Crisis! Olli and the gang at the Flat-Share turn on Lydia and Seb. Huge fight! Olli lashes out. We can dream...

Hair Today, Gone TomorrowThe great mystery with Gregor is whether or not he will have chest hair every time he takes off his shirt. Some days it's there (lately it has been), and other days it isn't. The same story for whether the guys shave their pits. Sometimes it's there, and other times not. Make a choice! LOL. I agree that the guys on the show aren't very hairy up top. Joscha seems to be the only one with any consistent chest hair happening, and even that isn't much.

You were scolded for that? Nope, just a feeble attempt at lovingly joking with Lola. But back to the subject at hand...

Having thusly been scolded, I took the Forbidden Love spec to the Spec thread. That thread is spoiler friendly.

Since Lola scolded me on the Spoiler thread (hugs Lola!), I'm bringing this over here. Since the Wild Spec thread CAN contain spoilers, have at it! (see page 1 if you doubt me) No need to use beige if you don't want to.
Mona raises an interesting point ( on the spoiler discussion thread) that harkens to the title of the show. What kind of forbidden love would everyone like to see the show come up with?
Even though it's horribly against Christian's character to look at anyone else, I suggested months ago the possibility of the boys (or anyone else) seriously attempting a Triad relationship. 3 Equal partners in a relationship. I know people who try it in RL, and my opinion is that it's doomed to fail, but what about on the show?
What kind of Verbotene Liebe should the show give us next?

I would LOVE to see someone as a love interest for Charlie. I love that actress. Inter-generational love interest for her would be good, too. I like that idea. : ) And from a practical standpoint of the negative reviews the show got from fans for Charlie/Stella, it would confirm Charlie as hetero again. Kinda icky to consider that might be an ulterior motive, but... We know that inter-generational love would make Kes happy. A parody play called Forbidden Hollywood about 5 or so years back did a bit with "The Bridges of Madison County" having a summer release, and the "character" of Meryl Streep was scolded thusly: " No one wants to see old people kissing at this time of year!"

I was interested by the Princess's attitude towards her nation. Is she so willing to give it up? Is she so willing to have Eduard rule? I find this an interesting twist as she is so beautiful and so positively portrayed, generally, but she, like Gregor, seems to have an irresponsible side, too. I would love to see how this plays out in the future. (No spoilers alluded to, BTW.) Great point, but... how do you keep a Ruling Princess in Dusseldorf with an "A" storyline when she has a Principality to run? Your observation about that irresponsibility is enlightening when you consider the press notes about Luise focus on her tendency to sacrifice her wishes in the service of others. (selfish princess! LOL)

Though the downside would be that it would create too large a cluster of people who are related to each other. (Tristan/Helena/Sebastian/Rebecca full siblings, and all of them cousins to the Lahnsteins) You're right! We need to have unattached characters coming onto the show. Maybe the anchors for a future family. There's only so many ways that the Brandners and Lahnsteins and Manns can be married to one another. Is the conventional wisdom also that Lutz is going to be a love interest for Charlie?

If there is a spoiler that you're super excited about, though, I'd love to hear about it! That would be great! Maybe get the ball rolling in a more positive direction? In truth I have tossed in my two cents in here from time to time lately, but the comment is largely ignored (and no, I DON'T need to be the center of attention) and the conversation continues on in the vein of "Rebecca's a homewrecking bitch!" ad nauseum, ad infinitum. It's tiresome. I agree that not everyone will be happy with the major story the boys eventually get, but some days I just yearn for the simpler times when people got pissed because they had a story and we were criticizing their clothes. (shrugs) To contribute to the convo that has been going on, Mona raises an interesting point that harkens to the title of the show. And if you're not interested in the question, just talk about something else.

Thanks Ivan. You're awesome as always. And Tikhon and Nanna for your pics and vids and subs. I nearly asked what the deal was with Constantin and Leonard and Maria/Francesca the last couple days in their scavenger hunt around Konigsbrunn looking for the bracelet. (WHY are they so lovey-dovey with her about jewelry after what she just did to Carla??? UGH!) I was going to ask, but then I didn't care. Watching Monday/Tuesday's eps, I was actually impressed with the writers for having the idea of putting Stella in the middle of the Maria/Carla fight at Schneiders. A good and simple confrontation (from a writing standpoint) to add stress to Stella & Carla's relationship. But bringing Carla's daughter into the room when she was fighting with Arno was sloppy, especially when the only important new information we learned in that whole exercise was about Carla's feelings for Stella. That moment could have been done better. But cheers to Carla with her attitude towards Maria in Stella's office. She's a strong woman with a lot of mommy issues. And what's up with Arno being such a klutz lately? Banging his head last week, burning his hand today? Are we going to see him do prat-falls with the wedding cake? I guess Rebecca isn't the only one to get the physical comedy these days. Awesome scenes between Gregor and Luise early this week. I love when they laugh. Maybe she's finished crying about Papa (at least she was at all!). As for the boys, they're back to supporting roles, which is sad. One thing that can be said favorably about the show is that even when characters don't have "A" stories, the writers do an EXCELLENT job of keeping their entire cast visible. I've watched shows where "core" characters disappear for weeks or months at a time if they don't have a story. At least TPTB at VL are doing a very good job of keeping all 24 or so of these actors visible on a regular basis. (the actors are earning their paychecks) Also, not to be a pest about "what did they say?" but... What did Tanja say to Eduard yesterday or Monday when he was sitting downstairs with Elisabeth that pissed him off? (Elisabeth has had a LOT of interesting things to do lately. I like that!)

*sigh*
Just a general impression I've gotten of this thread lately, is that this seems to have become the new bitterness thread.
No, I'm not pointing any fingers or singling any one person out. And no, I'm not saying that we should ONLY be able to say nice things about the show all the time. (that's nauseating)

look up his trousers indeed! As if we would!!! (I did, you couldn't see anything!!) I'm a pig too. I paused the vid while watching today's ep. Christian needs to stop wearing underwear. And clothes. Olli too. And Sebastian. I have very simple needs. Can someone please explain what Eduard said to Luise at Schneiders? What I "think" I heard was her trying to plead some case for him to help her save Waldensteyck, and he said "hell no!" True or False? (some details would be nice, pretty please?)

Zam, you do like suspense right to the end don't you!! Yes. Patience, grasshoppers. You've learned what the others should learn... be careful what you wish for. The same thing I told Kes veeeeery early in the story. Especially when she mentioned the following about Olivia and the Baron. And Olivia and the Baron? A perfect match. (Matchmaker, Matchmaker . . . Isn't that a song? But the matches you are making will create quite a fire. Quite a fire, nu?)Little did Kes know that fire would figure so prominently into Olivia's future. But as for the very strange convergence of events surrounding a certain character's fate in a lot of fics... that is CRAZY! And awesome as well. Great minds and all... So I ask? How badly does everyone want the next chapter? Be careful what you wish for.

Was VL on today? or is it another Bank Holiday? I know England has a holiday today so I just wondered. It depends on who the patron saint of German banks is. ;D On topic: cute scenes with the boys. Sure does seem like Judith and Rebecca are playing supporting roles to the boys in a way. Shame the boys don't have a meatier story.

Olli & Christian should never move into Gregor's apartment. we would never see their bedroom again. I hope Andi moves into Lydia's room in the flat-share and hooks up with Judith. Judith wins over Rebecca!

In the last week or so, this has been neglected thread! (with the exception of Saina's new chap, the return of JP, and CJ cheery posts! Anyway, here's a bit of a teaser... For being the first to correctly guess whodunit in the slasher fic, Sio won a prize. (Is it a delayed prize from that mad frenzy to turn the page in this thread a month or so ago?) Sio won a fic. Sio responded with a difficult idea. I'm up to the challenge. It WILL NOT be published anytime soon. I've still got two huge stories going on right now. I've got to spend some time developing the idea. I think I know how to tackle it. And it's top secret. And it won't be an epic fic. I started writing a new one of those again last night. That's also top secret and won't see the light of day for months. But a tiny preview of my Sio-fic... I get to try my hand at writing the wicked witch named Henriette. Yay for me. Thanks a lot Sio. btw... the latest chapter of the slasher fic is up. I'm all about trying to make friends tonight and please my readers.

After giving you 6 chapters in 7 days last week, I needed a break. Plus, I was having a heck of a time writing this next chapter and some of the ones that follow it. (thanks for all of the comments and reviews, replies will be coming soon!) What happens now? What will Christian do now that he's got the night off? Judith and Rebecca are going out clubbing. Kai's out drinking with the boys. And Luise is sitting at the bar looking pretty. Christian has more than a few options. Among them, Christian could also freak out and over-react. What will he do? Enjoy! Chapter 28 - Wordswww.nl-fiction.com/viewstory.php?sid=281&chapter=28

Jo - I hope you have the chance to read this, but if not, your fans can appreciate it. Certainly, we appreciate you. When you were a boy, and you dreamed of being an actor climbing that spiral staircase, did you ever imagine what your future would hold? Did you imagine that you would receive fan letters and well-wishes and gifts and praise and love from all corners of the globe? Did you imagine that an acting role on a soap opera would be transformative to your life, or to the lives of strangers all over the world? I, for one, was inspired by the story your helped to tell on Verbotene Liebe to begin writing again. It has given me joy. I have received joy from the other stories that my fellow-authors have contributed, and from the support of those who read my stories. (sorry about my current stories, they're a little extreme) All of these have been inspired by EXCELLENT acting, and the care of you and Thore and the people behind the scenes on the show. You cared enough to tell the story right, and to make it important. For this, you and your acting are important to us. Did you ever imagine you would have this impact? That you would change peoples' lives, or help to sway attitudes away from discrimination because of a job? We are proud of you. You should be proud. Your family and friends should be proud. Thank you for the laughter, the tears, and the frustration, all from a wonderful role on your show (in a language I barely understand!). Your skills, and the quality of you and your show surpass language barriers. Have a restful, happy, and wonderful birthday! Thank you for what you give us! Best wishes for continued success in all of your endeavours! ~~ZAM [glow=green,2,300]Happy Birthday![/glow](I can't believe I'm the first to use this picture!)

Now that we've revealed the real whodunit you should take some time to read through the speculative comments here and over at the archive. You can now enjoy them as much as I have these past 4 months. Many times I couldn't help but laugh, but I also felt proud that I was able to pull the wool over everyone's eyes for so long. I would have been pretty mad if someone guessed it right away! But Sio guessed it first. Kes would have had the title if she hadn't blamed whodunit on Judith and Arno. Now that all of that nonsense is out of the way, we still have more of the story to tell. We have survivors. We have whodunit. The survivors think it's the wrong person. What's going to happen? Stay tuned... it's the beginning of the end. CHAPTER 58 - DESPERATIONwww.nl-fiction.com/viewstory.php?sid=250&chapter=58

The other characters were obviously wrong. Sio got it right first. And then I managed to convince Gely and most of my readers that it was someone else. Hook. Line. Sinker.

In light of Nitty's compliment, I need to continue to be a busy little bee and post yet another chapter for your reading enjoyment. After 27 chapters, though, this will be the last of the chapters with the clever titles we've all come to count on. It's something of a relief for me, though, because I will no longer be tied down to a strict publishing schedule. *whew* At any rate... enjoy!
