Or Zoe? He could crush on Zoe! He. Or he has a thing for older women and falls in love with ... uh ... Jenny! Now that would make for drama. BWHAHAHAHA. Anyway. I was just wondering. Remember the awkward threesome ... uh ... brunch ... Why didn't Marc know that Deniz was an ice skater? If he did follow Roman's career he should know that. After all, there were loads of pictures of Roman and Deniz skating, starting with the one Axel secretly took when they started training together. I think he was needling Deniz, letting him know he considered him a child. Like he was beneath him and not real competition to him getting Roman back. I think he was just showing Deniz a total lack of respect in his home. Looking back on it you can tell he knew who Deniz was from the first time he met him. Then when Deniz confronted him the next day he said to Deniz "you probably wonder why I didn't say anything before"

Hi, I'm new here been lurking for a long time and decided to come out of hiding.
I know at first I didn't like Reid, I thought he was a big jerk but I'm warming to him. he' good for Luke. The same things Luke likes about Reid I lik. Especially after all the shit Noah but him through Reid is a breath of fresh air. I kind of separate Reid and Dr. Oliver.
It kind of ticked me off that Noah just assumed he could get Luke back just like that after using him as his punching bag for months. They are really gonna have to redeem Noah to make me want him back with Luke.

I feel so for Roman. Now I understand why is he felt the need to make to number 1 just once. Listening to how his father treated him and how he was a disappointment, I really get it now. I've been watching back episodes of happier times so I can forget about Marc and Roman's dilemma and watching the doping storyline I really understand what motivated Roman now.

Why would you want to ruin that. You can see Roman's happiness and the love he has for Deniz. Because he wants Roman. Selfish? Sure. But human beings can be selfish when they want something. Also, I think he believes that he is better for Roman- more compatible, similar interests, closer in age- all around just better suited. Added to that, he doesn't seem to respect Deniz much- sees him as too young and childish for Roman. Of course, Deniz didn't help much with this impression at first by immaturely confronting and challenging Marc to try and steal Roman from him. In addition, Marc seems to have this idea that his and Roman's love is so much more wonderful and greater than what Deniz and Roman currently share. Of course, it's easy to idealize a past and lost love and forget the prosaic reality of living a life together day in and day out. Anyway, that's my take on Marc right now. Maybe they will delve into his character more along with developing more of the past history between him and Roman. If Marc thinks he's better or their love is greater he really needs to grow up. If their love was so great why didn't he stay with Roman ten years ago and give Roman the time he needed to come out publicly and accept himself. As for Deniz confronting Marc I don't think it necessarily had to do with maturity. i felt it was more about loving someone so deeply and being scared. He wa seeing a threat come in the midst and wanting to have it out in the open.

I don't know who mentioned the bump Marc gives Deniz in 923 but I went back and watched and finally noticed it. MARC GO AWAY!!! I mean after looking at Roman's face after he kisses Deniz and see that smile and then the way he and Deniz gaze at each other at Roman say see? Why would you want to ruin that. You can see Roman's happiness and the love he has for Deniz.

The only way I can explain Marc waiting until now to look for Roman is he has been in a long-term relationship until recently. He's feeling his age and wants to answer that what if question with Roman. But you must leave the past in the past. Marc to me has the attitude that he knows what Roman wants and what's best for him.
Someone else asked had we ever heard Roman talk about doing a musical, yeah we knew he liked them and talked about them. But I don't know of him talking about producing one. Marc is stirring up old shit that needs to stay in the past so he can make a place for himself in the present. All I keep hearing from him is this was our dream. Was it really their dream or Marc's and Roman was along for the ride.? I get the feeling Marc led Roman in the past but I don't think he'll be able to do that with now Roman.

I HATE MARC1 I HATE MARC! I HATE MARC! I finally got that off my chest. Sorry for caps (screaming!!!!) He's a jerk and only cares about what he wants. You're hurting Roman think about that instead just what you want. If he's never forgotten Roman in ten years. Why wait until now. He should have comeback after the newspaper articles about Roman coming out or all the other stuff. Male Function, the qualifications fiasco.
Acting by Dennis G is great as always. I feel for Roman but I'm pissed because he's hurting Deniz the most perfect boyfriend in the world right now

I have a quick question in regards to the censored scene. Can RTL just put it up on line or can they be censored there too. I know a lot of shows will put their uncensored stuff on line. But I don't know the rules and regulating bodies in Germany so just asking.

While I agree that Marc loves Roman. My question is: has that love grown into obsession? I mean come on. It’s one thing to be hung up on someone. It’s another to disrupt your life and move to a different city with only the hope you can win him back. Or to openly and blatantly flirt with Roman in a public, in a place you know his boyfriend frequents. They weren’t in the locker room which can be locked. They were in a room with glass walls and people walking by. Today Marc crossed a line. It was like he wanted them to get caught, wanted someone to see and go tell Deniz, or have Deniz walk by and see. Charming, nice(?) and sexy don’t negate the fact that what Marc did today was way out of line. And if Roman didn’t know why Marc stayed in town before, he does now. I can understand him being torn, because he did have and still does have strong feelings for Marc. My problem with him right now is that Deniz stood there and apologized for being jealous and told him that he “trusts him completely.” Deniz adores Roman. And to see him apologizing for what is turning out to be a legitimate concern, was heartbreaking. He is so open when it comes to Roman. He’s given himself over to Roman utterly. He’s done everything he can to prove himself to Roman, he’s been more than supportive when it comes to Roman’s desires and dreams, even when they conflict with his own. Right now Deniz is this heart bleeding out nothing but love. He’s trying to quell the voice in his head that’s telling him Marc is trouble with a capital T. And he’s doing it for Roman’s sake. He’s trusting Roman to take care of not only him, but them, the way they are together, they way they could be together if given the chance. Deniz knows he’s screwed up in the past, knows for along time he was undeserving of Roman’s forgiveness or trust, knows how precious it is to have both of those things now. And he’s giving all he can to make sure Roman knows how lucky he feels to have him in his life. I believe Roman loves Deniz, more importantly is in love with Deniz. I can completely understand his confusion at having Marc show up all of a sudden bringing with him a bevy of unanswered questions. I can see him being attracted to Marc and even dreaming about what it would be like to be with him again. It’s only human. But at some point what could have been has to be left where it belongs. In the past. There was a reason that what could have been didn’t actually happen. And both Marc and Roman have to remember that, and not idealize what they had. Because for all they had, there were problems which led to them breaking up. Yes Roman not coming was among them, but I doubt that was the only factor in the break up, I’m thinking at this point it was merely the most convenient one. 2 You always says what I want but better. Roman needs to remember what he said to Deniz in 923 he had enough drama with Marc. There had to be more than just the coming out to break them up. That's why I don't see them lasting as a couple. Just because they are closer in age and have things in common doesn't mean they'll last. I mean what does Marc expect Roman to do? Leave his home in Essen and move to Hamburg with him. he's supposed to leave all his friends who have become his family, his job everything or are they gonna have a long distance relationship? I don't see this working or will Marc move to Essen but what about his business in Hamburg? Deniz and Roman are so different I think that's why they work. They bring out the best in each other. I think Deniz being impulsive is a great balance to Roman who seems to ere on the side of caution. I think this part of th story is about Roman and what went into making him who he is. But I think the second part will be about Deniz and how he will handle this, because they have Deniz putting his complete trust in Roman and knowing that Roman will cheat, I think will really utterly devastate Deniz, it's different this time. Even though Deniz cheated before once of Roman then with Vanessa this is different set of circumstances. When he was with 1.0 he was coming to terms with his sexuality and cheated with Vanessa becausehe was running away from who he was and wasn't ready for a committed relationship. I think he cheatd on Vanessa because he still wasn't sure of his sexuality and still had feelings for Roman and didn't want to admit it and commit to a relationship. He is The past is the past for a reason and it should stay there. Today was so painfull for me I shut down my subscriptions in youtube out of sight out of mind. I think I'll come back to the spoilers so I can find out when Deniz finds out then I'll watch again. I can take angst but Show is the Mistress of pain. I need to know there is some hope or at least Roman eventually chooses Deniz. I can't watch this real time. This is more painful than DeVa and at least I knew there was light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm confused about the spoilers. Now I'm tending to agree with Pedris that they might not be completely spelled out. For instance yesterday there was supposed to be this delcaration of love From Roman I didn't see. Certain things are not adding up and someone posted a clip from RTL about two sex scenes with Roman and Deniz and Roman and Marc one seems to be a dream the one with Marc so maybe there is no actual cheating? Hopeful maybe it is emotional i don't know. I know the one with Marc made my stomach drop. It seemed more graphic and rough than the one with Deniz. I supposed it's hot but I can't go there because I don't like Marc.

I think on a certain level Marc has been lying to himself since he decided to come to Essen. I think he talked himself into believing he only wanted to make sure Roman was happy. He wanted to make sure Roman had as loving a relationship as he’d heard/read about in the press, once he saw that however something in him clicked. And he not only wanted to see Roman happy but wanted to be the one to make him happy. He wanted his shot at what Deniz has. A Roman who is unafraid of who he is and how he feels. Now he’s lying about why he’s staying in Essen and in the process trying to make Deniz paranoid. Hence his snarky little comment about if he were Deniz he’d think he was in town to get Roman back. He’s also doing and saying little things around Deniz to try and prove he has more in common with Roman than Deniz does. Like having more in common is some kind of guarantee that things would have worked out ten years ago if Roman had come out. Or that they would work out this time, now that Roman’s out. What bothers me about Marc isn’t so much that he’s selfish, but that either he doesn’t know it, is in denial about it or simply doesn‘t care. He wants what he wants and is willing to do what he has to do to get it. Hence when Roman agreed to do the musical him wanting to go that instant back to his hotel room and make plans (not taking into consideration Roman might have plans of his own with Deniz) or the point of trying to get more time with Roman once Deniz had showed up at the rink. Or the way he lingered in the rink watching the interaction between Roman and Deniz. Personally I think it takes a certain kind of person to see two people who are obviously in love, and then sets out purposely to ruin it. Because that’s what he has to do in order to get what he wants. He has to destroy Roman’s relationship with Deniz in order to have the relationship he wants with Roman. To me it comes off like in his mind Marc feels he has this prior claim to Roman and that should trump everything else. Being charming (and Marc is very charming) and likeable (and there are elements of his persona that are very likeable), to me doesn’t really balance out the fact that he’s lying to Roman about why he came to Essen, why he didn’t leave when he said he was, or why he’s staying now. It doesn’t negate the fact that at brunch he was making little digs at Deniz (a person who was being gracious to him by even inviting him into his home in the first place) trying to make him feel less than, and putting doubts into his mind that he’s not enough for Roman. That the age gap between them means more than it actually does. This is exactly how I feel for him to come in Deniz's home and make that dig at Deniz was too much for me. Deniz is doing everything he can to be nice to him for Roman's sake and I felt like Marc was being a jerk. The age gap doesn't mean much to me this time around in 1.0 yeah because it was Deniz's first relationship and he was coming out so yeah they were incapatible age wise then because Roman was eady for a committed relationship and Deniz wasn't. Now him not admitting to himself why he's in Essen he has because when he got out of the cab and called the person who was supposed to pick him up at the airport he told him or her he knew Roman was in a relationship but he was gonna try anyway. This is why I don't like Marc he is deliberately trying to belittle Deniz and shake his confidence in his and Roman's relationship, to me he's being purposely hurtful. But I can distance my views on Marc from the actor. He is nice looking but not my type he does nothing for me.

I don't like Marc. I know some do and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I don't like him just on principle. I have certain beliefs and even though this show is fictional those beliefs follow me.
After watching today's show I want Deniz to find out but not confront Roman I want him to confont Marc and declare game on. I want Deniz to do everything in his power to keep Roman without being pathetic. I can't take Deniz turning into Roman after he got with Vanessa it was too much. It's hard to see Deniz try to be the perfect supportive partner knowing what is going to happen. It's hard to watch Deniz in some ways doubt himself. For me Marc is out and out lying now. At this point he already knows he wants Roman back but is lying about to Deniz. He couldn't even stand to watch them kiss. This is the problem with reading spoilers it's hard to watch what's happening now without being suspect of motives because you have a pretty good idea of wha is going to happen. But I can't stop myself.

I forgot but wasn't Roman out when he came across Deniz, wasn't there a guy named Andrew? Didn't Roman helps Deniz come out himself and face his feelings that he had for boys? It's true Marc has no idea all the work that Roman and Deniz have both put separately in their own struggle with their sexuality and as a couple. If Deniz had been that confused messed up kid when Marc showed up that would be different. But he's become such a well adjusted mature adult that it's painful to watch him be a great partner to Roman only to know that Roman is going behind his back. It's going to be difficult for the friends and family because they love both boys. I don't think they will split up into side Roman and side Deniz. But I think most of them will let Roman that they love him, but hate his actions/choices. I can see most of them not liking Marc and being borderline civil to him in support of Deniz. There was a choreographer named Andrew Roman was involved with. Roman was only out to his friends not publicly. During this time he used Annette as a beard to the Skating Association and the press who supposedly frowned on homosexual skaters.

I believe Marc is in love with Roman, or more to the point his ideal of Roman. I say that because he really doesn’t know this Roman. He only remembers the 18-20 year old Roman who was young, ambitious and afraid. The Roman who loved him, but not quite enough. The Roman who wanted him and begged him to give him time, only there was never going to be enough time. The Roman who ultimately couldn’t or wouldn’t (there really is no difference) do what he needed him to do for their relationship to move forward. Because of that Marc’s feeling for Roman got stuck in a holding pattern a place where everything was perfect (or at least he wants to remember it that way) save for one thing. And he can hold on to that because there really was no resolution to the relationship, there was just him saying enough. But not enough because he didn’t love Roman or knew Roman didn’t love him. Enough because he wanted more from Roman than he was willing or able (again there is no difference) to give him what he wanted and more importantly needed He went on, but really didn’t move forward. Marc doesn’t know all the work Roman had to put in to get to where he is, or for that matter all the work that he and Deniz had to put in to get to where they are. Marc is someone who sees what could have been if only. If only Roman had been willing to do for him everything he is willing to do for Deniz. He wants to know how things would have worked out. From the spoilers we’ve gotten so far, he’s willing to once again be Roman dirty little secret. Not taking into consideration that once again he’s not Roman first priority, and if I were Marc that would bother me. At some point, no matter how understanding he may be about Roman’s situation with Deniz, it’s bound to get to him that Roman can’t make a choice. At some point it would appear that either Deniz, by finding out on his own about the affair or Marc, by not being willing any longer to live a half life like he did so many years ago, is going to make the choice for Roman. Which could ultimately leave Roman alone. As for Deniz. We’ve watched him grow up so much. We’ve felt his growing pains and have been frustrated with and agry at him for not getting it. But now he has. He’s figured out what and more importantly who he is and who and what he wants. He’s not defining himself by labels but how he feels hand how that translates into his everyday life. We’ve watched him like proud parents go from being this selfish irresponsible kid to a maturing young man who sees his life and his future rather clearly. Even though this is going to be painful for him when he finds out it‘s part of his evolution. I can’t wait to see how this Deniz handles the situation. He’s already shown his willingness to set aside his feelings and put Roman’s first. He did that when Roman asked him to participate in the gay games, and he did it again when he told Roman to accept Marc’s offer. He’s been doing it in small subtle ways ever since they got back together. He already knows that something is changing, he may not know or fully understand to what extent, but he feels something is shifting, and yet even with the ground getting unsteady beneath him, he still put Roman first. And it hard for him because he can see so clearly what Marc wants, while right now Roman is trying desperately not to see it. I totally agree with this. I think that if this was the old Deniz, roman was with. more of us wouldn't have a problem with Roman being with Marc. But we've watched Deniz grow and mature and be the kind of supportive partner that Roman needs and for him to throw all this away on a what if is what really pisses me off. It' a reason they broke up and if I were Marc I would wonder what it is about me that keeps Roman from openly declaring his feelings for me. I would like to see Deniz confront Roman calmly but I do want him to sock Marc one good time to get it out of his system. Especially after being nice to him and thanking him for being there for Roman when in actuality he's been cheating with Roman. I think if Marc wants and loves Roman so badly be a man about and do it openly let Deniz know you want Roman not sneak behind his back. Personally if person is confused about who they want to be with they should be truthful about it to both partoes so they can make the decision to continue on in the relationship instead of being blindsided and hurt.

What intress me most if what happends afterwords. Who can't roman live without. And who can he live without. And how will deniz react. And i think it's plain mean of roman to cheat on deniz in there apartment. B/c that i think it's what is gonna happend. ANd man deniz is so understanding right now so understanding. I really hope their friends will stand by deniz when it all comes out. B/c now when i tihnk of it all deniz firends is romans friends. I known this happends bu i still wish he could have some of his own firends. And i don' want another dero v1.0 again. and not another dark years please god. And the reason why i'm not to big on the sl is b/c i watsh soap to ecape my life partly and well this is to close to home right now. So i wish i just could fastforward this cheating sl b/c it is. It what happends aferwords that inress me. And having deiz break down will be amazing to see. We watch for the same reason and again this hits close to home. That's what I wanna see to what it's gonna do to Deniz and the aftermath after it all comes out. But I do think he has his own friends. Katja and Ben are more Deniz's friends than Roman's

Sometimes Show is too much for me. I would have rather they had Roman sleep with Marc while Deniz was being insecure and jealous and having fits of anger. Then maybe there could be some excuse, Roman could say Deniz wasn't being understanding or emotionally available. But to have Deniz come to accept Marc and try to be his friend is too much for me. Roman should be ashamed and so should Marc to smile in someone's face knowing what you're doing behind their back, it's something I could never do.
I want Roman to love Deniz enough to let him go. He should realize how much this is gonna hurt him. He knows what it was like when he found Vanessa and Deniz together. He said he just wish he had told him the truth. Now he's doing the same thing to Deniz.
I hope the show doesn't go that route again. It would be enough for Deniz to find out without him seeing. Because is not like the first time around. There has been a level of commitment established and trust that was built up that has been broken. I think it will be devastating to Deniz. I tend to agree with mylu now that Deniz will find the letter and maybe that is how Deniz will let Roman know he find out about him and Marc.

I think I need to stay away from the spoilers for a while. The bottom of my stomach dropped reading the ones Aldi put up this morning. Roman thinking of Marc while he's with Deniz was too much for me. I think it would've been better for me if they said Roman was thinking about Deniz while he was with Marc too.
Then they have Deniz playing the fool, thanking Marc for being there for Roman when his father showed up knowing this guy is sleeping with Roman behind Deniz's back. I'm glad they do have Roman feeling shamed but couldn't he be shamed enough to tell Deniz the truth.
And if I were Marc I'd wonder what it is about me that Roman doesn't want to acknowledge me and our relationship to the world if he loves him so much. I mean they hav a history of this.

I agree with ladyarmand but I think I will die if they have Roman cheat on Deniz in their apartment, God forbid their bed. I would lose all respect for Roman. I definitely will hate Marc who I already dislike on principle because he is actively chasing after someone who is in a relationship. I see Deniz giving Roman pernission to do the musical as not only placing trust in roman but showing him he loves him enough to let him be happy.
As for if Deniz finding out, I don't see Marc's pressuring Roman will make him admit anything to Deniz. I think they will let Deniz discover them togetherr, which will make for more heartbreak and drama. Deniz will make Roman's decision for him.
