I just think that he assumed Christian would be alone (since Christian was conspicuously rejecting all of Gregor's attempt to fix him up with a girl) and marched in without bothering to really consider what might be going on in there. Christian is his brother after all, so Gregor's sense of boundaries may be lower. It's possible they may have shared a room growing up.
However, I'm assuming that Christian is at the end of the hall and that the girls don't have to pass his room to reach the bathroom. Otherwise they might be hearing all kinds of man-animal noises.

Please no! As Christian should put up on his door, if the bed's a-rockin', don't come a-knockin'. And just because I couldn't resist posting this smiley to this... ;D

The door has a frosted glass pane in it. I doubt that it's hard to miss when those two are getting "bombastic". I've thought about that before - the glass isn't exactly opaque, and on a purely personal note, I'd feel massively weird having sex in front of a window in a flatshare where people are wandering around all the time. But maybe the boys are exhibitionists? ;D Edit: That said, I'm with the folks above on this one - the flat and No Limits in general aren't subject to the normal laws of physics. Note, though, that it is just those sets - as soon as they get to the Lahnsteins' castle, people across the room were able to notice that they're a couple. It really is a magic building! As for the main question, I wouldn't say Olli was being sarcastic, more (jokingly) patronising. As in, Christian wants to know how he compares in bed and Olli's essentially patting him on the head like a puppy and saying "Yes yes, you're absolutely wonderful, best ever, etc, etc", ripping the piss out of Christian, in a nice way.

I think this is what I've finally made out the scene to be as well. Olli is teasing, but underneath it all, he really does think that Christian is all of these things, which is part of the joke too.

I like your reading of the scene, synapticmisfire. If only there were deleted scenes that we could get that lead up to the convo...

bombastic means: overly dramatic, high-flown, or, 'overkill' if you like modern slang. That is the joke: that Christian is really intense and uses more...ahem...technique? than is necessary for what may or may not be happening at a given moment. Which, apparently, Olli likes well enough.
If it has another meaning in German, well, I'll have to pull out my dictionary for that.
;D

By the way, I never knew that “Chinesisch” means “Dutch” in German! ;D Well, in Italian it means "Arabic"! ;D ;D ;D ;D Well, that’s something they didn’t teach me in Italian class!

You guys are funny with the flat layout fears, but don't forget that there is an existing thread devoted to discussing just the flat so you'd be safe here.

You guys are funny with the flat layout fears, but don't forget that there is an existing thread devoted to discussing just the flat so you'd be safe here. I know that, but it's the topic itself that scares me, wherever it takes place... ;D
