I wonder if these little bites and going for the groin then touching Olli's neck instead are all scripted and not just ad libs? Hee hee hee hee! But then again, it maybe the writers' ideas to entice the viewers. AHAHAHHAHA! Regardless though, it still makes my heart beat faster and scream inside. AHAHAHAHHA! -----Although it would be nice to know if actions were just ad libs c/o Thore and Jo. Hee hee hee hee hee!

Thanks Lola and Aldebaran. And Aldebaran, I like some surprises but I'd do better to PM you about those!! I just couldn't take more teasing today... especially when it's going to be in the 90s all week here. The bite thing is cute if only in that it shows how Christian is very affectionate with Olli, moreso than I remember him being with Coco. I wasn't around for the Nico era. I still haven't made it out with my laptop to watch. Maybe in the meantime if someone does the transcripts, I can read the episode cause for some reason stuff is clicking and I understanding a lot more than I thought. Maybe it's brushing up on all the naughty German.

I have to say, I spend quite some time wondering what things on VL are scripted or not. Like some of those tiny mess ups, like when Olli throws the bread at the fridge and misses twice. Or when Olli and Christian sort of miss clinking each others glasses while they are both comforting Judith. ;D
Or like today when Wolle accidentally knocks down one of those punching bags.

I was just wondering when the expression "Drama Queen" became universal language

Well, it's possible that they missed it. Or didn't have the time. Or it's just cheaper. Or they considered it so minor it didn't matter.
I remember reading interviews with American soap actors who went on to do primetime shows and they all mentioned how shocking it was to them how many takes you do of one scene and how much longer the process takes.

I was just wondering when the expression "Drama Queen" became universal language As you may have noticed quite a lot of English words and expressions have become a part of everyday German now. Unfortunately that also includes the awful Handy = mobile.

Well, it can be that they have proper takes of those moments, but somebody realised that those spoiled ones are actually much better. Although I do not think that the bite was ad-libbed. I think they have choreographed that kind of scenes, so they get the proper angles etc.

Oooook, so I finally got a chance to watch the clip. The bite was really cute and playful. I like the ease of affection between Christian and Olli. The fight was interesting. I will have to watch it again to get a better handle on it since it was a little faster than I am able to pick up on, though I did raise my eyebrows at Christian calling Olli "Oliver". You can always tell when a lover is pissed when the full name comes out. Glad they got over it rather quickly. Wolle is so bad he's almost Showgirls entertaining. I am going to miss that gross schweinehund when he's gone cause he's such a stupidly fun caricature. == Gah, my job is silly sometimes. I walk into the office of someone I work with and the first thing he asks me (there were 2 other people there besides me & him) was to help settle the debate that if a straight guy blows/blase another guy even just once, is that guy gay? I said maybe but he could also be bi. The other girl in the conversation actually had said the same I did before I was in the room. The 2 guys said "of course he is". This is the zaniness I work in.

LOL! i love it. and i agree: unless the alleged straight person is so drunk that the really surprising part is that he didn't bite it off by accident, there's a significant jump up the kinsey scale towards that magic 6. not sure - i think when it comes to GETTING blowjobs most guys couldn't care less who GIVES it, but GIVING one? i don't know many straight guys who'll jump at the chance to get a dick in their mouth (except maybe their own ;-)). oh, there goes the PG rating. :-) thanks, bonobochick!!

Bonobochick Tell the guys the correct answer is: If the guy is the one getting the blowjob. He's still straight. If the guy is giving the blowjob, he's gay. ETA: But!! If the guy who is getting the blowjob touches the guy's hair, or grabs his head, or strokes his shoulders, then he's gay as well. ;D

Unfortunately that also includes the awful Handy = mobile. I loved that part! I think I commented on youtube how much of a Drama Queen Christian can be, and Olli said it today! Of course, that's pretty much all I understood from the unsubbed clip.

Thanks, Nanna. What exactly is Olli saying at 2:20? How does saying "I don't know" like that differ from Ich weiss nicht? (at first I thought he was saying "keine einige" then I was like no, that didn't seem right)And GayTime, you've seen my byline about "causing the right kind of trouble" underneath the avatar of my hair...? The right kind of trouble is never PG rated. Thanks Tihkon2! I will relay your comments to my co-workers!

(at first I thought he was saying "keine einige then I was like no, that didn't seem right)He said "Keine Ahnung". I think the difference is more of a psychological nature. He was lying to Gregor and he avoided having to say " I don't know" by using that phrase. Anyway, I translated it with "No idea".

Once again highest praise to Ivan, Nanna and Tihkon! How else would we ever manage? This was really great. It's actually good to see Christian and Olli argue this way because it lets them assert their personalities. Neither of them is a sap, except for each other. You can tell Christian is very pleased about the extent to which Olli cares about him. Like he said back by the campfire on that holiday trip, he would like to know if he was important to someone. The problem for him is that he is the kind of guy that wants to reciprocate and having to hide his relationship with Olli frustrates him, which drives him into being a drama queen. The playful biting was just adorable! Damn these boys really are doing such a great job putting the little details into their roles. Wolle clearly lives vicariously through his boxers, since he's so blatantly repulsive that I doubt that a hot chick like Sarah would ever touch him even if she had half a kilo of cocaine in her system. (Speaking of which, for those overseas, a little known fact is that the only reason cocaine is sold in the U.S. is as part of another, probably doomed, attempt to try and get us to convert to the metric system) However, a Wolle could be fixed up a bit with a friendlier persona. Put some silk clothes on him and a big smile on his face and he could pass for that fat Chinese luck god.

That was the most hilarious over the top acting when Wolle started screaming about Christian wanting special treatment

I loved it when he got angry when he felt the water thrown on him and then he saw it was Sarah and he was like "Wow, she splashed water on me, she likes me." ;D
