Full trailer is finally here and wow:
It looks like they have a big budget. Like bigger than Thai BLs.

I'm a bit confused from this. This looked like a school show in the beginning, then at times a kitchen show, then a food shack show? Feels like a lot of things are happening at once. Hopefully, everything will make sense once it comes out.
Have they already filmed this? Just seems weird that all the other Pinoy BL shows need to be online based due to corvid, but this one seems to be just a regular in-person show

I think he studies gastronomy, then finds a job/internship to be a chef.

Apparently all sorts of special permissions had to be applied for, including the relevant cast and crew staying together in isolation at the site they were filming at. As you say, there isn't any indication of social distancing or anything in the trailer so maybe most of it had already been completed before then. I did read one comment on a site that claimed the actors weren't allowed to kiss so they were going to have to use judicious camera angles instead to achieve it, but I have no idea if that was true or just idle conjecture. I'm really loving the trailer though. I've watched it a few times now.

I think one of the behind the scenes video shows the actors kissing.
The name is "I kissed my BL series partner".
As when it was filmed, I heard people saying it was filmed during the quarantine and the crew was isolated at the location.

It seems the shooting started early May and ended last week, so they filmed during the lockdown.
I think were under locked-in taping that time, which means their filming areas where limited to whichever place they got permission to shoot in and they had to stay at that place for the duration of the shoot.

Wow! So they only started filming in May. I must have misread the info and got my start and end dates mixed up... sorry! That makes it all the more astonishing that there's no visual indication (from the trailer) that they were affected by the lockdown at all. I'm also pleased to see the rumour about the kissing ban was just speculation after all too. Really looking forward to it.

According to director (recent interview to EuroTV), the pilot episode for My Day The Series is almost 1 hour.
On other note, every episodes is almost 40mins running time just like in Thai BL.
As of now, director confirmed that the series have 12 episodes.

No idea about the Pinoy film industry

I got around to watching this show a couple of days ago and thought it was ok, if a little boring in places. Maybe some better editing to keep it more focused would have helped, but I accept that opening episodes can be a little dull sometimes due to most of the time being spent introducing all the characters and setting up the plot.
The acting is not always brilliant but certainly acceptable enough for me, considering those playing the main roles are all rookies. I liked that the opening scene directly addressed the issue of equality and Sky's family were shown to be very open, accepting and loving. The whole tone is that of a typical rom-com and it doesn't seem to take itself too seriously as demonstrated by Ace's fall which was exaggerated to the point of absurdity with all the gurning, slow-motion visuals and dramatic soundtrack. It made me laugh, anyway.
I've been surprised by the amount of dislikes and negative comments the episode got on YT, though I suspect that has more to do with audience expectations being raised too high after the show's razzle-dazzle Disney style trailer, and possibly the rumbling-on hoo-ha over some clumsy comments made by one of the actors. The skin whitening product placement also seems to have gone down particularly badly.
Anyhoo, I will continue to watch to see how it develops. The BTS video was very revealing in showing just how hard the makers had to work to put this series together in the middle of the pandemic with a forcibly reduced filming and audio crew, so I'm willing to give them a proper chance. I do hope for some improvements but overall I'm enjoying it so far.

Sky's family is a delight. The dogs were cute - but their house is nicer than any place I have ever lived in. Mike Gallardo is doing a really nice job as Sky. Sky should drop the girlfriend - her rudeness to his family was uncalled for. Ace seems really bipolar. The cinematography in the first episode was beautiful - where ever it is filmed at in the Philippines is really pretty. I have to wonder what kind of training that they have had - Jam and Sky were producing some pretty impressive baked goods for the dog's party. Did they take Advanced Home Economics in High School or is Ace of Cakes' internship really that good (especially since Jam had no idea what a rolling pin was) Even the Thai shows are more subtle with the skincare products.

I do hope for some improvements but overall I'm enjoying it so far. "Razzle-dazzle Disney style" I completely agree with you. I read through some of the comments and I felt bad. It was a mixed bag but the bad ones were rude. I know the actors are reading the comments and to see everyone criticize them so harshly astounds me. I remember reading a comment like "Your acting is so bad you should all kill yourself" and I'm just thinking these people worked hard day and night and you sit behind a screen and say something to that extent. People have such high expectations that if it doesn't reach to what they've built up in their heads then they are first to bash and bring the actors down. Also I'm glad that Miko uploaded a few videos of the Behind The Scenes. Giving audiences a glimpse into what goes into making a show and that it isn't easy. This show has potential and I will continue to watch it.

Well, Miss Becky brought the Disney feel back with her long house-cleaning solo. I love the koi pool. Miko Gallardo got to sell some new products - the sun glasses looked really good He didn't do quite as well selling anaphylactic shock. I want to see more of Sky's brother. I think Ace was supposed to be falling in love when Sky held his hand - but it just looked like he was really constipated. Otherwise, I thought he did a better job - certainly more comfortable in his character than in the previous 2 episodes.

I thought this one was pretty good. Though in part 3 when it started as an insole commercial, I was left wondering if I had clicked on the right clip, but then Miss Becky danced in and did stuff with fruit and I just went with it.
Hopefully we are near the end of the scenes with Sky's girlfriend - she has definitely overstayed her welcome (and the character is definitely getting the evil girlfriend trope).
Sky really sucked at some of the team-building games - it is a wonder the blue team won. When searching for the straws in the hide and seek game - he seemed more interested in finding Ace's straw considering how often he was running into and grappling with Ace.
I don't think Sky realizes any feelings for Ace yet - but Ace certainly seems to and I think that was true even before Sky saved his life.
