I definitely want Adam and Aaron they have so much chemistry it's fantastic. If it takes a while for Aaron/Adam to get together I would love to see an Aaron/Nathan temporary coupling. ;D ;D I'm going to be greedy and would like to see a threesome, Aaron, Adam and Nathan and anybody else in the village who might like to join in! ;D Afterall, Gavin Blythe did say Aaron's story was going to be different, hadn't been done before. So why not an outbreak of galloping lesser orientated gay behavior syndrom in the village.

Ah, le cat has come out of the alley. That was a long hangover A. Shame we didn't know in advance of the Chat to co-ordinate a serious of repeats of the questions we wanted to get over. Gavin's comment on Marlon worried me saying his next love interest was going to cause stress with Paddy. I hope it has nothing to do with Aaron. All in all it was a great evening and hope that they're going to repeat it on a regular basis. Have voted on the NTA for James Sutton whom I really hope clinches it. Shame Danny Miller wasn't nominated. He's becming more and more popular. Bonsoir M. Mei D'Oc, je suis enfin de retour ;D And I've not been hung over all this time y'know - just got a bit distracted by a certain farmer I'm not worrying about a Marlon / Aaron pairing happening (am sure GB meant something else) - thankfully ED is currently running an incest sl, so doubt they'd repeat that so soon, thank goodness! The web-chat was fun, wasn't it. I really hope there are more - perhaps with the actors getting involved as well. And yes, a co-ordinated campaign could well be called for . Well done on getting so many of your comments included! I'm sure that Danny Miller will pick up an award at some point - he's too good not to. Meanwhile, DS are usually good at getting red carpet interviews, so let's hope they manage to snare Adam and Danny for us Je suis ravi que l'Alicat est de retour. ;D A certain farmer eh? Wonder who that can be! I wish I'd had copies of all the posts I'd sent in and hope they'll get to read them all. I did kinda spam the Aaron suggestions a number of times hoping that someone would get an idea what we want to see. Did you also have the feel that he's got a soft spot for Danny Miller? I certainly did by him picking up on the Aaron questions repetedly. Saw tonight that the producer of Hollyoaks lost her job. I discussed this with Kimba the other day. They've less than a million viewers. I just hope they don't come poaching either Gavin or James Sutton. We are really lucky to have Gavin at Emmerdale now. He's going places and Emmerdale is getting really popular overseas. I'll leave you to your farmer, kinda messy for you!

I too agree with mexflyboy and have great admiration and respect for Gavin Blythe. He's a breath of fresh air with Aaron's storyline, with Emmerdale in general. He's not afraid to cover forbidden territory and subjects and present them in a fresh and new manner. This storyline isn't for the fickle, the quick fix viewers but for those prepared to be patience, to get involved and explore Aaron's suffering together with the lad.
After last night Nathan is certainly going to question the image he has of his father, in the same way Aaron's questioning everything that involves Chas, his mother. Anything is possible but last night Gavin gave a clear indication that it's Adam who's going to be even more closely involved with Aaron. Aaron seemed to be his pet subject and he showed a lot of admiration for Danny Miller. He mentioned that it's harder to work with the younger actors, in that they don't have the patience of the older ones. Yet he's happy to have the group of youngsters he does have.
I did several times throw in the statement about how there must be other gay people in Emmerdale when one takes the 1 in 10 statistics of society. I guess the writers, the team at ED will get print outs of all that was asked and base future storylines of what people want to see. Gavin did however say that the storylines are written up 5 months ahead and with filming five weeks ahead that don't often take in public opinion so rapidly. There will be new arrivals in the village, some short term, some long term. Only Charlie Webb (Debbie) is leaving on maternity leave for the short term now that Maxwell Caulfield has gone forever.

Ah ha! Beat me to it tonight. I've copied and downloaded the entire web chat and did see several of my Meidoc questions get posted. I think his answer about Aaron and Adam was related to mine asking why they were ignoring the huge potential of Aaron and Adam, that they had mindblowing chemistry and it would be a shame to waste it. It really was fun but frustrating at the few answers that came through. I also asked for them to do the chat more often, using the actors and actresses in turn. He did reply and said that may be done. Tonight's episode was mind boggling and really shows how far Emmerdale has come. I would have prefered a suicide than Natasha shooting him the way she did. Still didn't expect us to see who killed him so soon. James Sutton's performance will really help him gain the NTA's award as best new comer. His portrayal and acting was very real and so well done. Please, as Kimba requests go to www.nationaltvawards.com/default.aspx?page=25and vote for James Sutton and for Emmerdale. Just an email address and user name required to vote.

Sheepie, there are many YT sites with the whole episodes available but our dear Kimba runs the Ryan Lamb/Wylde clips on his YT Site together with Aaron and Adam.
I'd love tomorrow's episodes to beat the Christmas EastEnders episode audience. I guess we're in for a real treat tomorrow and surely they can give us a little Aaron and Adam as body snatchers. ;D

With Sheepie neglecting duty I'm jumping the gun and doing a recap of tonight's episode. It's short and sweet. No Aaron or Adam! and sorry Sheepie, didn't see any of your woolie friends on the dales either. ;D However, the tension as the finale and climax to the Wylde/Lamb saga almost reaches it's conclusion, was well worth watching. James Sutton gave some of his best acting tonight. He's come a long way although he kisses his boyfriends far more professionally than his lady friends. Wondering just how many of an audience they'll get tomorrow night for the double episode and the murder. Could be a record number.

Ah but you missed that Chas is going to tell Carl that she's pregnant. That won't go down well with Aaron. Or will it? Maybe he'll be delighted to be having a new brother or sister.
At the christening I saw Paddy in the congregation so I expect we don't need to worry that Aaron will be around. Still no snow on the 22nd January episode. Aren't we due some new spoilers?

Cheers to Kimba as always. XXX Thanks to Sheepie for recapping in usual fine style. Dane323! A Scotsman always sleeps with one eye open, you ought to know that. ;D And Alicat, don't be so down that we shan't see the lads for 2 weeks. ;D They're on the same team as Ashley, Nicola, Carl and the Wyldes. You don't expect with Mark being murdered, Aaron won't find himself a possible suspect in the eyes of the law. Maybe that's how Nathan gets dragged into the plot when he asks Aaron to dispose of the body. Relax, it's gonna be alright. They haven't got around to the snow in Emmerdale yet and that'll be when Aaron flies out to Tenerife.

Hey, Mexflyboy, if you have 1000 points for your gay experiences you surely wouldn't have time to post on message boards. ;D We're all virgins and solitary souls lost in space on here. Don't know whether that classifies you for membership of the "been here long time" club. As Sheepie said yesterday, he's never had a boy, or a relationship, so I guess you know why he's called Sheepiie. He's into those long knee high boots that shepherds wear. You'll know all about why they wear them, n'est pas? And as for the rest of us, well, one of these days we might get around to telling you how we get our kicks ;D What did you make of that surprise shot of Ryan descending the staircase this evening. Deliberate or an accident?

They have talked about bringing Chas into Aaron's story so this must be what's coming after next week. Probably with some A&A interaction as well, to keep our hope up. I have to say when she's around Aaron she's not my favorite person. I don't like how she's treated him and as Mexflyboy said earlier one of the sadest scenes was when she left Aaron with a solitary tear and went to live with Carl

You're ace Sheepie. Altthough I got to watch tonight's episode I really love reading what you do in your recaps. You obviously missed the revealing shot of Ryan as he descended the staircase. Very unusual, shame we don't have Ivan doing caps on ED. Enjoyed tonight very much and a lot of banter to be discussed and analysed. Shame on you Sheepie, for not rubbing it in to mexflyboy that I too am a Scot! Guess I've had as much or more experience in working in different environments/ countries as he, but for me ,where ED is concerned I take my hat off everytime to your analysis and thoughts. Maybe after he gets round to a 1000 or more posts we can do an assessment on how good or not he is! ;D

Following on from last weeks episodes when we discussed about what were Cain's real feelings and intentions about the Aaron rumours, I stumbled by accident today on a little treasure trove of 2005 Emmerdale episodes. In the clip below we get to see how Cain reacted to his daughter Debbie having a gay relationship with her friend Jasmine. Not at all how I thought he'd be.

Aaron's background and life so far
Aaron Livesy is the son of Chas Dingle and Gordon Livesy. He appeared in 2003, 2004, 2006 and since 2008. Aaron's parents, Gordon and Chas, split up when he was very young. Chas left him with his father and he was raised by him and his second wife Sandra Livesy. Aaron first appears in 2003 when he visits his mother. When he visits in 2004, Chas slaps Aaron after she catches him talking about her behind her back. Louise Appleton witnesses this and tells Gordon when he collects Aaron and tells Chas that Aaron will not visit again. However, Aaron visits again in 2006 but stays longer than expecred as he has been in contact with a person who had German measles and Sandra is pregnant. He returns to Gordon and Sandra, after telling Chas about her partner, Carl King's one night stand with Del Dingle while she, Chas, was in the Army. Aaron returned on 28 November 2008 when arrested for possession of drugs. Donna Windsor-Dingle recognises him and tells Chas who goes to the police station. He is cautioned and Chas takes him for a meal. However, he runs away. When the Dingles discover Gordon threw him out after Aaron hit Sandra, they go looking for him. They discover that he was involved with the McFarlanes, a local criminal family, and they rescue him from them. Aaron insists on going home, so Chas takes him but Gordon has packed his bags. Aaron returns with Chas, but is angry and verbally abuses her. That night, he vandalises Gordon's office, but Gordon cannot prove this and Chas gives him an alibi. After initially clashing with Victoria Sugden, they become friends and on Christmas Day, they accompany Jake Doland, Scarlett Nicholls and Daz Eden to a local lake, which has frozen over. Victoria falls in and they work together to get her out. A few weeks later, he vandalizes Tom and Rosemary King's grave, on the day of Matthew King's funeral and trashes Carl King's house. He later tells Chas that he does not want her dating Carl again, and Chas decides to tell Carl she can't be with him - reversing the decision made only days before. Later that week, Aaron convinces Belle to take the day off school and go with him to Home Farm, where the Wyldes are moving in. Aaron steals from their van, accidentally leaving Belle to take the blame. When Lisa finds out about this, she throws him out and Chas goes too, moving in with Chas's boss, Paddy Kirk, who soon catches him selling animal drugs. When Zak catches Chas and Aaron violently arguing with each other, he insists they return to the Dingles but soon are back with Paddy. Aaron starts a relationship with Victoria, and eventually loses his virginity to her. However, he dumps her when he finds out she slept with Daz. In late 2009, Aaron has his eye on Holly Barton, new tenant of Butler's Farm. After months of flirting, things seem to be looking up between the pair, but then Aaron does something that is so out of character that it shocks him to the very core, he gets close to Adam Barton, Holly's brother, and the two become best mates. On a lad's night out, the two get into a car crash that causes Aaron to cut his head and as Adam is checking it out, Aaron leans in for a kiss. Adam is horrified and pulls away but Aaron refuses to discuss it, telling Adam that he is imagining things.

I have to say that, of us all, I believe that Sheepie understands what's going on in Aaron's head the best. That is because, indeed, Sheepie knows first hand country life, farm life, country folk and farm folk in the UK and how they think and react. The young lads in a country hamlet like Emmerdale, won't have had the exposure that others have had in the big wide open world. I personally don't know the life Aaron led with his father and step mum before returning to Emmerdale. Did he live in the big city, did he have exposure to gay people, gay situations or was he, unbeknown to us, molested, abused sexually. We can only judge on what we've so far seen, and soaps are famous for flashbacks, the sudden arrival of persons designed to fill a role in the storyline. So anything may happen at a future date. Several characters are leaving Emmerdale so there will be others arriving. There are some gorgious guys no longer starring in series like Adam Thomas previously, who could suddenly arrive and truly awake Aaron atttraction to males. I shall certainly lie there awake all night digesting the haggis Sheepie served up to us tonight. ;D

Sheepie, is this what you have to do to keep your primal desires on hold then you've put in a truly exceptional effort. How many hours have you been suffering man? I'm taking a break like Hmmmmmm and need time to digest all you've written. I'll never get round to Mexflyboy's post by the morning. Tomorrow's gonna be interesting.
Basically for me Aaron now thinks he's straight. He's already laid Victoria, and this past week he's conquered successly Holly. What's going to hit him hard is when he finds the satisfaction isn't there, that something huge is missing. It may take his dreams at night to start really awakening in him to the fact that it's Adam who does things for him, or is it Ryan, or Cain. Who is it who is going to provide that love he's never had, that person who's gonna accept him for all that he is? This is what the storyline is, I believe, going to be all about.
Go on Sheepie, spoil yourself, let it all hang out and relieve all that's bottled up inside you! ;D

Sheepie! You're in quite a mood tonight! ;D How far back does Aaron's story go? When did he join Emmerdale? I see kimbaforeva has clips that go back to July of 2009; does that go back far enough? I'm curious to see Aaron's story; after finally watching (some of) Lenny's back story for GZSZ it put a lot of things in better perspective so I'm wondering if it's the same kind of thing here. Danny Miller as Aaron began from 28 November 2008 However the character Aaron first appeared in 2003 and off and on ever since.

Well Hmmmmmmmmm. here is the little surprise to keep you reading up on Emmerdale past and present. Lyndon Ogborne has a Live Journal blog where you all can find fresh insight and lots of photos including Aaron and Adam. The blog is subscribed to Kimba's Youtube site. Note the film scene with Lyndon at the top of the blog. He appears very briefly in a scene from Robin Hood Enjoy and careful as some of the links to interesting stuff isn't obvious and you need to run over text to pick out a link community.livejournal.com/lyndonogbourne/

Ha, ha. this was funny! And I found were you got your pictures from Mei Doc! There were some other quite gay ones there in the shower! Sadly he's got a girlfriend as I discovered in a Christmas article in the UK Daily Mirror. They've been together now one year and met just before he got the Emmerdale role. She lives in London whilst he has to work Monday to Friday in Yorkshire. I have a big treat for you all tomorrow!! ;D
